The Rössel restaurant is a good Greek restaurant. The service is good, the staff is friendly and the selection is also very good. The food was also more than solid. My portion was relatively small and oily, but other than that I have no complaints. I will definitely eat here again. 🐙

The food was OK. Rather manageable plates for a Greek restaurant. We found the service to be below average. When we asked if we could get a candle for the lantern on the table, we were told no. There would be no candles. Another question: could we get a bowl of water for the dog? Answer: There are bowls outside in the hallway. Can you get it... Should we fill the bowl ourselves at the counter or in the toilet???

I called at the end of August for October 2nd. Reserved a table for 9 people. When we arrived on October 2nd. When we arrived happily on site, we found ourselves standing in front of a locked door!!! The 2.10. a Wednesday is a day of rest!!! When I complained over the phone, it was assumed that I was lying. The boss himself was firmly convinced that no one from his team would offer me a table on a rest day! Wonder how unprofessional you can be and not even apologize for the inconvenience. Mishaps can happen to anyone, but accusing the customer of lying is bold and cheeky! We certainly won't want to eat here again in the future!!! Luckily the 375 euros for food and drinks were welcome in another restaurant!!!

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Der Service super. An einem lauen Sommerabend nett draussen gesessen. Es kann so einfach sein.

The restaurant is located on the currently busy street. (A bypass around the town is probably currently being built) The service is very friendly, always with a smile and very attentive. A wobbling direct table was noticed and corrected. The choice of food is varied, including for vegetarians. The courses were served very quickly and tasted very tasty. We enjoyed it very much and can only recommend the restaurant. And we have little sympathy for those who visit a restaurant with a foreign cuisine concept and a corresponding focus on the food to order schnitzel with fries and then complain.

Both the pulpo, which I had as a starter, and the lamb shank were perfectly cooked and extremely tasty. You could feel that people cook with passion here, and the side dishes were also tasty and nicely seasoned. Highly recommended!

Very good food. Nice salad with crispy yet juicy gyro strips. Calamares pan very well seasoned. Octopus to the point... and mocha for dessert: cups hot, the mocha anyway. Service attentive, fast and friendly.

We spontaneously went there for dinner today. The beer garden is nice, even if it is right on a busy street. We had grilled pepperoni, with box white bread that wasn't even toasted. The main course could have been spicier. All in all, the restaurant thrives on its good location. For the same money you can get much more elsewhere. Once it was ok, there is no danger of repeating it.

We ate there while passing through from our vacation and were quite disappointed. After ordering, we waited 45 minutes for the food. Grilled lamb skewer was tasty, but there were 5 small pieces of meat and one and a lot of onion pieces on the skewer for 25 euros. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio isn't right. We wouldn't eat there again. Not necessarily recommended.

We spontaneously went to this restaurant for dinner this evening. Reserved a table by phone in advance. The phone call was very friendly. When we arrived we were greeted very politely. The food was beautifully served and tasted very tasty. Every now and then we were asked whether we wanted anything else or whether everything was okay. Everything was great until the waitress panicked that it was about to rain and we should sit under the umbrella. Okay, so we did that. We had previously ordered the dessert menu. When we were all seated again and we only had time to look at the map again, the waitress came to ask us whether we had already decided and at the same time she made it clear to us that we only had half an hour left... .. Then we really lost the desire for a nice dessert and maybe a coffee. Really a shame! Strangely, when we waited for the bill, warm food was still served.

Today I went to the Palatinate Greeks in Bad Bergzabern with my husband again. The food was fantastic and very tasty 😋 The service was attentive and friendly. We liked it very much. We'd love to come back. Absolutely recommended 👍👏 PS. We can't rate the rooms because we were only here to eat.

I also give 5 stars to this exotic restaurant. We weren't hotel guests, but stopped in at lunchtime as part of a bike tour. The mix between Palatinate and Greek is super funny and can be found in the rich and even entertaining menu. Prices are a little higher, but average eaters can still find some affordable, tasty things. Quality of the food is also impressive and quite fresh. Small example: The side salad does NOT have the cheap iceberg lettuce in it, but rather other things like pepperoni, beetroot and lots of rocket. The service people (including the boss himself) are also very nice, but not intrusive. Whenever we are here again, this will be our first address.

Delicious food and, as a good Greek should be, we saw EVERYONE receive an ouzo or raki at checkout. However, we did not receive it, apparently buying food for 50 euros is not enough for a friendly drink. Despite the good food, we will not come again, it felt very unfriendly....

We are excited. Very good quality food, friendly, super attentive service. Price is absolutely right. We're only there for a week on vacation, we've already been here twice and have reserved again. Maybe some guests should keep in mind: "how it echoes into the forest......." Food had to be returned because the pork was still raw inside, but tasted okay. Child-unfriendly menu - no dishes for children (a small portion is discounted by 1.50 euros), if a portion is shared it costs an additional 5 euros.

So sorry, this is a pure rip off 😡 The food was far too expensive for the quality and this time on Mother's Day we arrived and asked politely if there was still room for 4 people. We were then asked if we had reserved and the blast 🧨 answer was when we said no “we don’t need that” That's incredibly arrogant 😡😡😡 You will never earn more from us and hopefully 🙏🏾 many people will read this and stop visiting you for your arrogance. No Greek hospitality at all 😡

Very nice hosts. Fast service. The food was very tasty and generous portions. There is a nice side salad with it. The tzatziki is creamy, with fresh cucumber and garlic 😋

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal im Rössel. Eigentlich zweite Wahl, da Athos zu war, obwohl offen sein sollte. Wir haben es nicht bereut. Netter Service, das Essen kam schnell. Hier das ABER : Das Fleisch ( Olympiateller, Gyros) hätte ruhig noch einige Minuten auf dem Grill verweilen dürfen, um knuspriger zu sein und mehr Röstaromen zu haben. Und: Wenn Gyros mit Tsatsiki auf der Karte steht, erwartet man etwas mehr, als einen Beilagenklecks. Nun denn, wir planen, trotzdem wieder zu kommen.

Eigentlich eine ungeplante Einkehr in Bad Bergzabern- und dann das: Lange nicht so toll saftiges und schmackhaftes Lamm, Hüfte und Koteletts, sowie Schweinelende vom Holzkohlengrill im Restaurant gegessen- von Tsatsiki über Beilagensalat, Grillgemüse und Bratkartoffeln: alles frisch gemacht und gewürzt UND sehr, sehr gastfreundlich serviert- vielen Dank! (Gyros und Tintenfisch am Nebentisch dufteten/sahen übrigens auch richtig gut aus) Zum Nachtisch noch Halvas mit Eis- herrlich... Ein Schmaus!

Wir waren mit 7 Personen im Rössel, Griechisches Essen geht besser. Wir waren alle nicht überzeugt vom Essen. Völlig überteuert,für 3 kleine Stückchen Leber mit Pommes und Salat 17,50€ würde ich gerne bezahlen wenn die Qualität stimmt. 1Stückchen war noch roh und die beiden anderen waren total sehnig. Gyros war grau und auf dem Bifteki eine komische rosa Sauce. Tut mir leid aber wir werden nicht mehr is Rössel gehen.

Es ist mittlerweile ein reines Restaurant ohne Zimmer.

Gestern waren wir mal wieder beim "pfälzer Griechen" essen. Es war wie immer hervorragend.... das Personal ist top drauf und sehr aufmerksam. Der Chef hat stets ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Wir kehren immer wieder gerne dort ein. Wir können dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen. Seid Ihr in Bad Bergzabern... dann lasst euch einen Besuch dort nicht entgehen. Ihr bereut es nicht. Eine Reservierung ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, da immer gut besucht. Meine Frau und ich haben nur dort gegessen und alles war super.

Ich war begeistert. Der Kellner war "auf Zack" und freundlich. Das Essen wurde super schnell serviert und war sehr lecker. Auf Nachfrage gab es einen großen Ouzo gratis. Der überbackene Gyros in Metaxasauce inklusive Salat und Pommes ist zu empfehlen. Schade, dass ich das Restaurant erst so kurz vor meiner Abreise entdeckt habe.

Sehr schönes Sitzgelegenheit in freien. Netter Personal. Gerichte - schnelles Abfertigung. Kein Fladenbrot, bzw Baguette, sondern billiger Kastenweissbrot der nicht einmal geröstet war. Nach den wünsch, das Brot ein bisschen einzurösten, war auch sehr schnell gemacht. Von allen gegrillten Peperoni war gerade zwei Stück wo die Spuren von Pfanne gehabt haben...Knoblauch der drüber gestreut war, war keine frische, sondern eingelegtes aus den Glas. Rumpsteak war zu roh. Müssen zurück geben, es war schnell erledigt. Hugo war in einem Weinglas serviert, 250 ml.für 6 Euro. Das Bier im Glas war zu warm. Fazit: Wir gehen nicht mehr hin.

Sehr lecker gegessen und feinen Mokka getrunken. Viel Auswahl. Ich hatte Lammsteaks geschnitten mit mediterranem Gemüse und Rucola. Mein Mann aß Mousaka. Die Lage ist gut, weil zentral. Die Kellner sind sehr aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Preise akzeptabel.

Leckeres essen ( nach 20:00 ) was in der Pfalz scheinbar aussergewöhnlich ist. Nette zuvorkommende Bedienung. Alles gut.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Der Vorspeisenteller war ein absoluter Traum und total vielfältig. Mein Mann war vom Rumpsteak total begeistert. Es gibt auch eine tolle Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten. Der Service war auch sehr aufmerksam. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen. :)
