I’ve been coming here since highschool and they never fail! Food is the best, the service is always so wonderful as I am a regular. My girlfriend and I always order a Sheryl temple, butter chicken, butter naan and lamb biryani. Always so great and the service portions are perfect there and then great reheated for left overs.

The best Indian Restaurant in the area by far. I love Indian food and I have dined in three around Ramstien, Royal Aroma is with out a doubt the best. Order the chicken tikka masala (ask for spicy) plain rice and garlic naan it is for winners!

The food is very good. I had lamb vindaloo. It's spicy but not so spicy that the flavor is covered up. The garlic Naan is outstanding. I'd eat here more often if I lived closer. If you like Indian food, you'll love this restaurant.

Probably one of my favorite places to eat in the KMC.. they have 3 lunch specials Tuesday-Thursday and 2 specials on friday-Saturday. Great food, can be spicy if you want, and it's in a great location. Been here 5 times in the last 3 months and worth it every time!

Tried it based on the reviews but it is really hit or miss. Unfortunately our experience was a miss. Atmosphere is great, clean, and incense smells nice. Service was good, but the food was just bland. The tandoori chicken was too salty and lamb tikka barely had flavor. Appetizer chicken pakoras were dry & stale, possibly leftover. The soup looked like frozen veggies were used and had corn it it, not something I expected. I hope they can improve on the quality of the food. Until then I would not recommend it.

Amazing service and seriously good food! We lived in the UK for 5 years and had some top notch Indian food — Royal Aroma is a 10/10! The restaurant is very clean and the prices are good. The service is excellent, but the food is... well, definitely not authentic. Lack of fresh spices (like koriander) as well. The food doesn't taste like in india. At all. More like European/American Indian food. But we appreciate the opportunity to try different cuisines in this small area.

Die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich und das Essen kam sehr schnell, obwohl am Samstag Abend sehr voll war. Das Essen blieb hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Das Thali für 17.50€ würde ich nicht empfehlen. Keines der Thali-Gerichte war authentisch und so aromatisch wie man es von der indischen Küche gewohnt ist. Einiges war kalt, z.b. das Naan. Vielleicht lag es daran, dass es so voll war.

We got our dinner there from Ireland to Hungary trip, with two kids and one dog. Staff are very very friendly and helpful also they speak English. I had god chat with the owner, they extremely kind family business, I’m so glad we found them on our 3 days trip. Food very delicious and huge portion. And listen to their recommendations you can’t go wrong. Definitely be back!

This is out family's go-to- Indian Restaurant. Their butter chicken is one of the bests. We'd recommend their Thali, you can try so many different kinds of dish at once. Butter Naan is also 10/10.

We switched to Royal Aroma after having our go-to place (Bombay) let us down too many times. Everytime we go, we have tried something different. I love their lunch option of the 3 curries with rice and Naan for under 9 euro. Their garlic Naan is great, and my husband and I both love the vegetarian options just as much as their chicken options. Their samosas are delicious! We usually opt out of the seasoning they put on top since it makes it too salty and the samosa itself is seasoned perfectly. The staff always treat us nicely and prices are decent. Just a heads up, this spot is a dead zone for internet, so if you like detailed descriptions of what you are getting, do some research beforehand so you know what you want to order.

Ankunft 18Uhr. Die Einrichtung ist ok, hätte mir ein bisschen mehr indisches flair und indische Musik gewünscht. Das Essen war auch ok, ich habe zwar schon besser indisch gegessen, aber es war ok, unter einem Rainbow Salad habe ich mir allerdings etwas mehr vorgestellt, nicht nur Eisbergsalat mit etwas Mais und Karottenraspeln. Dafür war das Mangolassie extrem lecker! Minuspunkte gibt es ganz klar für die Raumtemperatur. Im Restaurant war es eiskalt. Den Gang auf die Toilette habe ich mir verkniffen bis Zuhause, ich hatte Angst auf der Klobrille festzufrieren. Der Wirt hat zwar die Heizung scheinbar angedreht, nachdem wir schon gut 1 Stunde da waren, aber selbst als wir wieder gingen war diese noch eiskalt. Abreise 21.30Uhr.

Gefällt mir 😊 Waren jetzt schon öfters dort und das Essen war immer lecker. Preis-Leistung passt und kommen gerne immer wieder.

Our "Go-to" restaurant for good Indian food in the Kaiserslautern area! Menu offers a wide variety of delicious options. We've tried most of them, and have been delighted every time! Many vegan choices. Service is provided by one gentleman, who occasionally becomes overwhelmed on busy days. You may have to wait a little longer on those days. Nevertheless, the food is worth the wait! Only 2 "complaints" about the menu: They don't serve dosas, and the thali is only available during lunch.

I come here every couple of weeks. The service is always quick, and everybody is very friendly. The best part is the food. I have yet to try something that I do not like. It is all very tasty, generously portioned, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Its' been pleasure visted this resturant as I was looking for an Indian Resturant , every other Indian Resturants in the area have 'Cash only' policy , which doesn't make sense to me as I use the card to buy food or eating in Resturants. They take Credit cards, and food was awesome as well. Food was halal as per owner.

Hatten uns riesig darauf gefreut. Die Enttäuschung war leider sehr groß. Wir sind durch viele Jahre in England das indische Essen gewohnt und es ist unser liebstes Essen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen kam sehr schnell. Als Vorspeise hatten wir einen Platter mit 4 verschiedenen Vorspeisen. Alles relativ geschmacklos. Unschön angerichtet. Das Hauptgericht war fast kalt. Das Hühnchen war nicht frisch zubereitet, die Soße war wässrig und geschmacklos. Die Bedienung war so freundlich und tauschte das Gericht problemlos und schnell für ein anderes Gericht. Die Portionen hatten viel Soße und sehr wenig Fleisch im Preisleitungsverhältnis erschreckend. Alles in allem kein schöner Abend. Keine Empfehlung von uns.

Vielleicht Corona geschuldet aber macht den Eindruck von innen wie eine Kneipe, einfach nicht gemütlich. Bedient wurden wir sehr freundlich, das Essen war OK allerdings auch keine geschmackliche Besonderheit um den Besuch zu wiederholen. Zum abholen und zu Hause essen geht das klar.

Parking at this location is free and spaces are limited but we have so far not have had any issues finding parking. The place is super nice, the decor is super cool and they have some cool music and videos going on on TV. The staff is super nice and they are so friendly! this place also accommodated our party and separated our checks for us. THE TROPICAL- this drink is refreshing and also it is a little weak but for a light drinker this was perfect! I was looking for a fruity drink and this was perfect. CHICKEN SHAHI KORMA- this was a pretty good dish, it is a little bit on the sweet side but none the less pretty good. this is also not a spicy dish so it was perfect for me, but if you are looking for something not in the sweet side perhaps this is not the dish for you. CHEESE NAAN- this was a fresh piece of naan, the cheese was a bit weird, it looked and felt like scrambled eggs to be honest but the taste was definitely there. LUNCH OFFER SMALL - we also came another day and tried their lunch special, they had two sizes a small and a large, I selected the small and I was pretty satisfied with it, the choices are depending on the chef for the protein but it is a perfect way to sample some of the dishes they have on the full dinner menu. the small dish is definitely enough for one person and I even took some food home. This place is pretty good and they also take cards. this was a great experience and I definitely recommend.

I am happy for the advice of my colleagues at work: Want veggy? Go Royal!! The place is quickly found, just off the Pariser Strasse and up a kilometer the B270. We had placed a reservation for a table for six. All went to plan. Our group of business partners and the common Indian customer was quickly through the menue and our guest from the subcontinent ordered veggy for all of us. Absolutly wonderful flavours! Service is switched-on and cheeky. Good job! I still cannot understand the bill... far too small for the big fun and comfort we felt. Keep up the standards! You rock.

I finally decided to give this place another try. It turns out they have improved their food standards! There was a time when it seemed they didn't care about being authentic , but that seems to have changed. Perhaps it is due to new management or kitchen staff. Not sure which, but I am looking forward to making this my go to place for great Indian food. My only gripe is that the prices are a little high, but can be tolerated as long as they maintain high standards.

Wenn man die indische Küche kennt und liebt, sollte man hier essen gehen! Die Aromen der verschiedenen Gewürze der indischen Küche sind in den Gerichten präsent und machen das Essen zum Genuss. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Restaurant ist original indisch, wie man es sich z.B. in Mumbai vorstellt. Nett ist auch die Glocke, die beim Verlassen des Restaurants geläutet werden sollte, wenn es geschmeckt hat. Für uns ist das Royal Aroma eine klare Empfehlung. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Went for lunch and they have a great lunch special. Restaurant was clean, staff was super friendly and food was so good. I had the lunch special and it's like a sampler platter. So delicious and a great way to try a little bit of different dishes.

Wir haben zu Dritt hier sonntags Mittag gegessen. Wir waren früh (12 Uhr) da und die ersten Gäste. Kurz nach der Bestellung kamen die Getränke und schnell danach die Vorspeise. Kaum war die verspeist kamen auch schon die Hauptspeisen. Zwischenzeitlich füllte sich das Restaurant, aber auch bei den anderen Gästen ging das so flott. Der Service war übrigens sehr freundlich und fragte mehrfach nach, ob alles in Ordnung war. Da ich hier gelesen hatte, dass die Portionen eher übersichtlich sein sollten, habe ich meinem Sohn (Veganer) empfohlen noch ein Vorspeise zu nehmen, meine Frau und ich verzichteten darauf. Mein Sohn wählte Somosas. Als diese kamen, war uns klar, dass die Portionsgrößen eher nicht das Problem sein können: es kamen 3 Riesenteile! Und darüberhinaus sehr lecker. Um sich nicht schon satt zu essen, gab mein Sohn auch noch was ab... Dann kamen die Hauptspeisen und auch diese waren super, sowohl was Portionsgröße als auch Geschmack anging. Ich hatte übrigens das Lunch Maharaj Menü: 6 verschiedene Hauptspeisen (3x Chicken, 2x Veggie, 1x Lamm) mit Narnbrot, Pappadam und Nachspeise. Natürlich waren es nur "Häppchen" aber insgesamt sicherlich 1,5 Portionen. Das schöne war, dass es ein guter Querschnitt durch die Küche war und das für relativ wenig Geld. Nach nicht einmal 45 Minuten haben wir das Lokal wieder verlassen. Also keine lange Wartezeiten.

DH saw an advert for this place so we decided to stop there for lunch while doing weekend errands. Dining area is spacious - tables are not crammed together and there is plenty of room to move around. We had the buffet, think there were 10 or 12 different items on the buffet, nice variety ... some spicy and some not, plus sauces to increase the "kick" if you were so inclined. We both enjoyed our meal ... tried the dessert that was on the buffet, some sort of coconut milk and rice noodle dish with raisins and nuts... neither of us cared for it much, plus it was entirely too sweet. We'll go back again and try something off the menu next time.

I had the pleasure of dinning at Royal Aroma in January 2019 with two friends. I thoroughly enjoy Indian food, and have tasted it all over Europe. Royal Aroma has a lovely decor and plenty of space inside its restaurant. The menu offers a good range of dishes, all plenty of options for meat eaters and vegetarians. I had the Chicken Madras - a plenty full portion, a good kick in spin and I finished the dish feeling satisfied. I also tried the butter-chicken, which was rich and full of flavour. The bill was good value for money. The staff were polite and were happy to answer my question. They could of been slightly more attentive. I would recommend this restaurant.

Decide to treat my wife to a night out to dinner. We ordered Iced Tea, Fried Onion Appetizer, Butter Chicken, Bread and a Shrimp Rice Dish with Saffron. The Fried Onions came and they were outstanding. Then the main course, My wife loved the Butter Chicken, however my Saffron Rice dish was just to spicy for me. End result picked out the shrimp and ate less than 1/4 of the rice. It was time to pay and the waiter asked if I wanted to take the rice home. I explained it was just to spicy for me, He apologized and 5 minutes later he comes back with a serving of Mango Chicken with a side of rice. He insists that I try it,and it was very good. He came back out with the menu and took the time to show and explain each item on the menu that was mildly spicy. He comes back with the bill, and the Shrimp dish is not on the bill, I explain I ordered it , therefore I should pay for it. Hr flat out refused to add the dish to the bill.of €24.95, or charge for the Mango Chicken , So I slid €40 in the folder and rang the bell on the way out. While I have to be honest, Indian food is for sure not for me, but my wife said she would be back with our daughter. She said she loved the meal.

All 4 dinners have been wonderful! Dishes are a bit smaller than us Americans are use to but the food is much more flavorful than competing restaurants. Our go-to restaurant for friends visiting. The staff takes great pride in their restaurant and are very attentive to customers. Bathrooms are exceptionally clean.
