My lamb was fried to death in the starter and main course. Service was friendly but slow and haphazard. The restaurant seems unclean, the menu is disgustingly threadbare. The Pils came in 0.5 wheat glasses and had no foam. So we don't have to go there anymore

The lamb korma and chicken tikka masala at Bombay had a mild flavor that missed the bold spice I anticipated. While both dishes were decent, they could benefit from a better spice balance and intensity. On a positive note, the garlic naan was excellent, and the chicken tikka appetizer stood out. However, the quantity of mango lassi felt more like chai, not meeting the smoothie expectations. Overall, a mixed experience with room for improvement in spice levels and beverage portioning. The restaurant proved expensive considering the quality and quantity offered.

Of all the Indian food I’ve had across the world this is easily some of the best! I’ve been here twice this week alone. The first visit I asked for sticky rice, I was told all I had to do was call ahead and jt would be fresh. Sure enough, the best rice pudding I’ve had here in Germany! The best Indian food in Germany and such a lovely family owned and operated business!!

I have never seen such a generous family. The taste of mouth melting kababs was our favourite. And the quality of food they serve, omg, it's huge. We even took away the papads😝. They also served Gulabjamun and extra gravy with the main course. Wonderful experience, would definitely visit agai.

This was a very good Indian restaurant at the price point. We had the Chicken and Lamb curry, both were good, and the spice level which they were served was just right for each of us (mild for lamb, medium for chicken). The garlic Naan was very good and we both enjoyed it with our curry. The soup served with meal was a little salty, but still had a nice flavor. They have a lot of other good-looking menu items as well, and overall, this is a place we would definitely return for another round of curry.

Das Essen war an sich recht gut. Service eigentlich auch freundlich. Das Ambiente lässt zu wünschen übrig. Bilder zum Teil zerrissen, teils mit Plastikfolie überzogen oder hängen schief. Der Hammer aber, seit einem Jahr schon. Die Wände wie Heizungen gehörten mal gestrichen. Ein Gaswärmer im Lokal aufgestellt um den Raum zu wärmen. Die Getränke, Cola und Sprite, konnten wir nicht trinken. Haben wir auch gesagt. Entschuldigung war, die Bedienung an der Theke sei neu. Das war es, mehr auch nicht. Wie soll man das verstehen? Beim Panschen das Mischungsverhältnis noch nicht drauf? Coca-Cola und Schweppes war das definitiv nicht. Schmeckte alles extrem verdünnt. Eigentlich ungenießbar. Glaube nicht dass wir nochmal hingehen werden. Eigentlich Schade, da das Essen gar nicht schlecht ist. Wer auf Ambiente Wert legt ist hier falsch.

Schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Das Fleisch war mega zart und sehr gut gewürzt. Es wird alles frisch zubereitet, was man auch schmeckt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Geschmacklich top, Portionen nichts für gute Esser. Sie gehen auch auf die Schärfe ein die man bestellt. Der Junge der bediente war großartig, sehr zuvorkommend, nett und sorgsam. Das Ambiente war jetzt nicht so der Burner und die Preise stramm. Kann man aber empfehlen.

Ein gutes indisches Restaurant in Kaiserslautern. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die Qualität des Essens ist sehr gut, leider sind die Portionen je nach Gericht eher durchschnittlich groß. Man sollte auf jeden Fall noch ein leckeres Nan-Brot dazu bestellen, wenn man großen Hunger hat. Das Ambiente ist leider nicht sehr gut, ebenso war bei jedem Besuch der Platz nicht wirklich sauber ( dreckige Tischdecke ) Wer sich daran nicht stört, sollte dieses Restaurant auf jeden Fall besuchen, da es hier sehr gutes indisches Essen gibt.

Bestes indisch/pakistanisches Restaurant in Kaiserslautern. Geheimtipp!

Wir sind seit einigen Jahren mal wieder hierher gekommen. Bitte lassen Sie sich von der Ansicht des Hauses nicht beirren. Das personal war zu uns sehr freundlich, immer höflich. Der Innenbereich ist ok. Man sollte mehr wert auf Ordnung legen. Es war Samstagmittag und wir waren ganz alleine im Restaurant. Das essen war gut. Die Chicken Samosas waren gut gewürzt, ebenso die chicken Pakoras. Zu jeder Mahlzeit gibt es eine Linsensuppe aufs Haus. Fanden wir nett. Die Suppe schmeckte. Die Schärfe der Speisen kann man selbst festlegen. Wir haben die Schärfe leider nicht bemerkt. Ich sagte was und es war gar kein Problem nachzuwürzen. Der Herr sagte, dass es absolut kein Problem wäre und wir ihm es nur sagen sollen. Das einzige was ich nicht verstehe ist, warum an einem Samstag keiner da ist? Besonders die Ecke hat ja sehr viele Restaurants und somit sind immer Leute unterwegs. Es gab nur eine Bestellung zum mitnehmen und 2 Anrufe während wir dort waren. Ich hoffe, dass mehr Leute vorbeikommen.

Sehr schöner gemütlicher Laden, das Essen hat 5 Sterne verdient, wir hatten verschiedene Gerichte, da war eines besser wie das andere. Der Service war auch gut, wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und haben uns dort gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Einrichtung ist zwar älter, aber alles sauber dort. Versteh manche Kommentare nicht die das Gegenteil behaupten.

Sehr leckeres Essen! Es ist zwar nicht zentral gelegen, aber die Strecke lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Es gibt auch reichlich Auswahl an vegetarischen Alternativen!

Waren heute mit dem Schlemmerblock dort. Das Essen war wirklich richtig gut, Naan sehr lecker, Fleisch sehr zart und gute Portionen. Leider war der Service etwas dürftig. Die diversen amerikanischen Gruppen wurden herzlich begrüßt und auch permanent betüdelt, haben von alleine Eistee nachgefüllt bekommen und auch das restliche Essen wurde eingepackt. Unser Eistee wurde nur auf Nachfrage hin aufgefüllt, das Essen durften wir uns selbst einpacken und beim Bezahlen war keinerlei Augenkontakt gegeben und das "vielen Dank, bis zum nächsten Mal" klang gelangweilt und einfach nur nach Phrase die man eben so runterrattert. Echt Schade. Mit etwas besserem Service auch für einheimische Gäste wär's echtn richtig guter Abend gewesen :/ Nachtrag nach der Antwort des Restaurants: dass getrennt zahlen beim Schlemmerblock nicht möglich ist wussten wir nicht. Darauf wurden wir in diesem Moment auch nicht hingewiesen und hätte man dies, hätten wir auch gerne zusammen gezahlt und es anschließend privat aufgeteilt. Ich habe auch nicht geschrieben, dass der Service gänzlich nonexistent war. Nur, hat man eben deutlich den Unterschied zwischen einheimischen und amerikanischen Gästen gespürt. Dass free refill Eistee den amerikanischen Gästen automatisch angeboten wird, ihnen das Essen eingepackt wird während wir das selbst übernehmen dürfen und wir nicht einmal Augenkontakt beim Zahlen bekommen während die Amerikaner alle paar Minuten mit einem herzlichen Lächeln umflogen werden hat mMn nichts mit Angewohnheiten von Stammgästen zu tun. Vermutlich macht die idR ausgiebige Trinkgeldkultur der US Bürger hier einfach den Unterschied, ich weiß es nicht. Schade, ich hätte auf mehr Selbstreflexion und eine weniger defensive Antwort gehofft.

Das Beste Restaurant in ganz KL. Der Service war so besonders! Alles ist Helal und uns wurden sogar Datteln und Wasser angeboten, weil wir gefastet haben. Das Essen war sooo lecker, Chicken Tikka Masala, Mango Shake und Cheese-Knoblauch-Naan ist eine wirkliche Empfehlung. Ich werde ab jetzt öfter kommen und das essen genießen!

Essen war lecker, aber man kann es beim Heizkosten sparen auch übertreiben. Bei kalten Temperaturen nicht zu empfehlen. Sobald das Essen auf dem Teller war, war es kalt. Schade

I have never had a bad meal from here. It is our go-to for takeout. The lentil soup is SOOOO good, and we normally get the aloo gobi & butter chicken w garlic naan. The food is always amazing.

It's not a place to go on a date, or have a dinner party... walls look a bit ran down, paintings on the walls seem to be bought at flea Market. Different taste of decor maybe. Service was excellent, restaurant is ran by a family (I assume), however there's no dress code for the staff, which makes a poor impression (Service staff wearing jogging pants and hoodies). Not that it matters... ? The food has changed dramatically. 1st time years ago was more authentic. Today - the food (every dish ordered) was super salty. Maybe it was an accident... Maybe new cook.

Es gab schönes Essen die Mitarbeiterinnen waren ziemlich nett und das Essen war auch sehr gut. Ich gehe mindestens 2mal wöchentlich dahin mit meiner Familie. Die Leute die sich fürs westasiatisches Essen interessieren empfehle ich das Restaurant.

Nach langer Zeit mal wieder Lust auf ein perfektes Curry gehabt und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Super freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung gehabt. Die Wartezeit auf unser gutes Curry wurde uns mit einer leckeren Suppe verkürzt. Das Essen war sehr reichlich, also Vorsicht bei der Bestellung ;-) Ich kann diese Gaststätte nur empfehlen wenn man mehr Wert auf die Qualität der Speisen als auf das Ambiente legt.

Normalerweise bin ich kein Fan von Speisen mit Curry usw Aber holla die waldfee ! Das war sooooooo lecker Es hat wirklich exzellent geschmeckt ! Auf Allergien wurde geachtet. Service kam und hat sich erkundigt und war sehr freundlich. Lange nicht mehr so einen tollen Service gehabt ! Mehr als zufrieden !!!!!!! Wir kommen wieder ! Dankeschön - bestellt wurde : butter chicken ( Empfehlenswert) , zusätzlich chicken biryani , extra yogurt Salat, naan mit Knoblauch und Käse, Mozzarella sticks und shakes

Hat mich sehr überrascht, da das Restaurant, von außen sehr unwahrscheinlich aussieht. Das Essen hat überzeugt und das indische flair auch. Der Service war auch sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Immer wieder gerne!

My husband and his coworkers have enjoyed their lunches here and I would hear all the comments about how GREAT and TASTY the food was, so today was my day to experience it for myself!!! I was a bit unsure, because I don't do spicy foods, BUT WOW, WOW WOW!! I had the lamb tandoori (no spice), with rice and nan. The food was AMAZING!!! EXCELLENT FLAVOR, HUGE PORTIONS , and GREAT SERVICE. Thank you for a WONDERFUL experience!!! Looking forward to my next meal there!!!

I went few months ago as a dinner date with my husband and the food was amazing, the portion sizes where huge for one person and we fell in love with the place. Today Valentine's Day I decided to take my husband to lunch and the place was empty so I thought well they won't screw up the orders right? Well the food was cold, wasn't seasoning, didn't taste good at all. The only thing that we enjoy was the bread but again even the bread look old all flaky. My stomach got upset after the meal that I even throw up. I don't think I will be coming back to this place. I feel the rice was old rice from the previous day and not freshly made and same with the food we ate. I am highly disappointed because my husband loves Indian food.

After almost 4 years in the area, we finally tried this place and we were very impressed! The Basmati rice it is cooked perfectly! The portions are big and the service was outstanding. Definitely going back or do the take away. Strongly recommended. ** you can only pay in cash, EUROS OR DOLLARS**

The restaurant has very friendly staff and a decent menu. The complimentary soup was delicious and so was our mango lassi. Rice came with the dishes and we were given a very good amount for two people. The food was tasty too but for the first time in our lives, our Vindaloo was not even mildly hot. Vindaloo is supposed to be one of the spiciest Indian dishes and while the sauce is very tasty, the heat was almost none existent. I get why it's not hot. I think because it's near a huge US military base so many Americans go there. A "real" Vindaloo probably won't sell well. When the waiter came and checked on us, we told him about the heat. He kindly took our meals and added more heat and also brought us a chilli sauce (which was very good and hot!) but the heat on the main dishes was still not how it's supposed to be. The other dish was a Madras. Also not as hot as it should be. We came from England and have been spoilt with choices of great Indian restaurants. Maybe we just should lower our heat expectations down. Tasty dishes, the staff are super nice and prices are about average for Indian. Just keep in mind the lack of heat on the dishes that are traditionally supposed to be spicy. Ask them to make the dish seriously hot and maybe it'll come out right. Oh, cash only. There is an ATM machine just across from the restaurant.

I come here at least once a week- safe to say they know my order! When you dine-in, they serve you with complimentary soup that is delicious! The sweet naan is to DIE FOR and I've never had one bad meal. Highly recommend!

As a group of five we ordered several meals and they were really great and delicious. Not so professional service, really dirty toilets and interior in need of redurbishment.

So this is not the cleanest restaurant we've ever been in. But, the service was excellent as was the food. I had Lamb Vindaloo. My wife had Chicken Tikka Misala. We also got a couple of different Naans. Those were really the best part.

We enjoy eating at the Bombay House on occasion. The complimentary soup is always good and we like the food. Have tried various dishes and are always trying something new. The decor is a little run down, but the food is good and the staff is very friendly. They do not take debit or credit cards, but will take euros or dollars. The sweet Nan is awesome!!!!!!!!!

Bombay House has pretty good food for the price. The vegetarian dishes are very tasty and the spiciness can be adjusted to your personal taste. The naan bread is AWESOME. Highly recommend the cheese naan.

I have spent many months in India and I have to say nothing that Bombay offers is even close in taste to "Indian Food". Starting from Lassi, which I would call a milk shake, through Garlic Naan finishing with my Panner Butter Masala as main...

This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in town. The food is great and the staff is too! I'd recommend pretty much anything on the menu. And they've got plenty of different types of delicious naan, so don't forget to order that too!

Had a awesome dinner with the family, larger portions and fairly inexpensive. Definitely recommend for dinner dates, dinner parties and family outings.

It may not look like much from the outside and I was apprehensive but once I got inside and the aroma filled my nose it was all down hill for me. The food is great, we're hooked and went back again a few days later....

REALLY LOVE THIS PLACE! This is a family-run restaurant -- great food, somewhat shy, but great staff. We've been there multiple times and have had consistently wonderful food. My daughter comes back from the states and this is one of the first places she wants...
