Roxie in Hamburg

Alles gut mit der Veranda. Schöne Inneneinrichtung, geräumig, im Sommer 2 Terassen zur Auswahl, viele Gerichte und Getränke zur Auswahl, und man kann gut Fußball/Sport sehen. Die Bilder sollte hier man jedoch mal aktualisieren. Die Veranda ist nicht mehr das vorherige Roxie und auch Gerichte wie Schnitzel oder Currywurst mit Pommes gibt es nicht mehr. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Durchaus empfehlenswert die Veranda.

Moderne Ambiente, gute Musik mit angenehmer Lautstärke. Damit ist gemeint, dass man sich gut unterhalten kann. Sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen war sehr gut. Ich habe Tapas gegessen und hatte Schwierigkeiten, mich zu entscheiden, da die Karte sehr vielfältig ist. Darüberhinaus findet man "außergewöhnliche" Tapas für Deutschland, z.B. mit Feigen oder Lamm. Sehr lecker. Portion und Preis absolut i.O.

Burger finde ich richtig gut. Tolle Konsistenz. Die Pizza war lecker und schön Käsig. Extra Schärfe habe ich auch bekommen und war scharf. Bar sieht toll aus. Komme gerne wieder.

Tappas waren okay, aber keine Glanzleistung leider. Teilweise nicht richtig warm. Service war bemüht, aber teilweise etwas verwirrt. Reservierter Tisch war vergeben worden und wir mussten uns was anderes suchen. Für Fuba gucken und nen Burger essen ist es völlig ok, aber für Tappas würde ich das nächste Mal woanders hingehen.

Ich kam, um das Spiel Liverpool gegen Real Madrid zu sehen – naiv zu glauben, dass ein Ort mit sechs Fernsehern das wohl schaffen würde. Man lud mich mit einem Lächeln ein, das direkt aus einer Bierwerbung stammen könnte. Doch kaum begann das Spiel, wechselte man den Kanal – ganz selbstverständlich. Auf meine Frage, ob man das Spiel vielleicht auf einem anderen Bildschirm zeigen könnte, bekam ich die Antwort: ‚Fünf Minuten, der Chef ist gerade unterwegs.‘ Dreißig Minuten später war der Chef offenbar immer noch unterwegs – vermutlich auf einer sehr langen Reise. Am Ende ging ich. Ohne Spiel, ohne Essen, aber mit einer wertvollen Erkenntnis: Hier sieht man den Kundenservice seltener als den Ball. Und das will was heißen. Wenn die Küche auf demselben Niveau arbeitet, ist es vermutlich sicherer, vorher etwas zu essen. Ich komme nicht wieder. Und ehrlich gesagt – ersparen Sie sich das Erlebnis ebenfalls. Vielleicht läuft das Spiel woanders… und das Restaurant auch besser.

Ich war da, um ein CL Spiel anzusehen. Vorher hatte ich extra angerufen um zu erfahren, ob es auch übertragen wird. Das wurde bejaht. Tatsächlich war aber kein Prime Account vorhanden. Nach 45 Minuten Hilflosigkeit seitens des Personals bin ich geflüchtet, um das Spiel in meinem Hotel auf dem iPad anzusehen 🙈

Ich war schon mehrmals bei der Veranda Tapas & Sports Bar und bin insgesamt wirklich sehr zufrieden. Das Essen ist super lecker besonders die Tapas sind vielfältig und machen richtig Spaß, weil man sich durch viele verschiedene Gerichte probieren kann. Auch die Burger sind sehr empfehlenswert. Man merkt, dass hier auf Qualität und Geschmack geachtet wird, was sich auch in den durchweg positiven Bewertungen widerspiegelt. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und durch die Kombination aus Sportsbar und Restaurant ideal, um mit Freunden einen Abend zu verbringen und nebenbei Fußball zu schauen. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: Bei einzelnen Bestellungen könnten die Beilagen manchmal etwas besser abgestimmt oder gewürzt sein das ist mir persönlich aufgefallen, wurde aber durch den insgesamt sehr guten Geschmack der Hauptgerichte wieder ausgeglichen. Alles in allem ein tolles Lokal mit leckerem Essen, guter Auswahl und angenehmer Stimmung ich komme gerne wieder!

Wir bestellen hier immer und es ist jedesmal hervorragend. Es wird immer sehr schnell geliefert und der service ist sehr nett. Das essen ist wirklich der hammer.

Ich kann es absolut empfehlen, ein Besuch lohnt sich! Die Speisekarte und das Essen sind fantastisch. Besonders die Spezialsoße sollten Sie unbedingt probieren. Neben unbegrenzten alkoholischen und alkoholfreien Getränken, freundlichem und schnellem Service gibt es dort auch Arcade-Spiele, Billard und Darts.

Ein richtig geschmackvoller Laden mit fantastischen Essen, einer ganz tollen Atmosphäre und fabelhaften Service . Es sind alle unglaublich freundlich, professionell und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder!

Eine sehr schöne Sports Bar. Überall sind Fernseher an den Wänden und jeder kann von überall auf einen Fernseher gucken. Gleichzeitig fand auch noch ein Backgammonturnier statt und ich war dort, um mich mit anderen Gesellschaftsspielespielern*innen zu treffen. Weil oben alles voll war, mussten wir leider im Keller sitzen. Aber auch das hatte irgendwie "flair". Der Service kam regelmäßig vorbei und hat sich gekümmert. Und die Pizza hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt.

Nicht sehr charmant, zügig und durch die Baustelle direkt an der Aussenfläche derzeit nicht sehr einladend. Gerne darf der Service auch mal an den Tisch kommen und nach weiteren Getränkewünschen fragen oder nachfragen ob alles zur Zufriedenheit ist. Man fühlt sich hier nicht so richtig als Gast.

Trotz vollem Haus bei HSV - FCB keine Wartezeiten. Super netter und aufmerksamer Service. Tapas sehr schön. Bei Fußball besser reservieren.

Großzügige Sportsbar, in der mehrere Spiele gleichzeitig verfolgt werden können. Leckere Pizzen und Tapas, angemessene Preise und Räume für Gruppen, auf der Raucherterrasse hängt auch ein Fernseher. Gutes Konzept 👍

Während alle anderen schon aßen stellte man fest dass meine Lachs-Pizza leider aus war. Leider war auch die Creme mit weißer Schokolade nicht mehr zu bekommen und auch beim Latte macchiato war ich vergessen worden. Viel Pech für einen Tag!!! Aber ich nehme es nicht persönlich. Allgemein war das Essen okay.

Wir waren spontan am Freitag Abend zum Abendessen mit 4 Personen und haben dennoch ganz freundlich einen guten Tisch erhalten. Das Essen ist super und auch die vielen tapas sind vielversprechender als man mit dem Begriff Sportsbar verbinden würde! Die Oliven, das Brot und alles aus dem Meer sowie die Pizza Mozzarella und vor allem der Service waren excellent!

Die Inhaber sind tolle Leute, das Essen ist gut und die Angestellten sind freundlich.

Das Roxie war mittelmäßig - das Restaurant Veranda rund um top und nur zu empfehlen. Leckere Tapas, sehr freundliches Personal und faire Preise. Ich komme mittlerweile regelmäßig. Weiter so.

We visited this restaurant last week for the first time and probably for the last time. The ambiance is very nice, although the outdoor seating could have benefited from some cushions. We ate tapas that were very attractively presented – unfortunately, they all tasted bland and were sometimes quite greasy. Even the aioli served with them was not tasty, lacking in garlic and salt. Conclusion: intentional, but not perfect. Perhaps the burgers and pizzas are better, but don't expect good tapas here; you'll be disappointed.

Definitely recommended. Absolutely fantastic dishes (creations), simply fantastic, very tasty, and beautifully prepared. I'm thrilled.

Visited there for the first time as a tourist, they also have a nice outdoor terrace. The food comes quickly and is also very tasty and the prices are not as high as many others. Very easy to reach by U1, as it's almost at the Alstertor stop. If we're ever there again, this restaurant will definitely be on our list again💯👍 Parking is free there, but there aren't many spaces as it's located in a residential area.

Delicious food at fair prices, very nice atmosphere

The burger, called a beef bun there, is really good for a sports bar. The other tapas are also delicious. If you want a quick bite to eat while watching football, this is the place for you.

Delivery experience. Second order, everything was fine with the first one. This time, the fries were omitted from the buns for the same price. The tapas cauliflower was a breaded stalk. Unsalted and raw. The stuffed mushrooms were unsalted, and the bacon coating tasted a bit soapy, seemingly not very fresh. The sauces were indefinable. Overall, extremely disappointing, and we won't order here again.

Wow! A really good tapas restaurant. Friendly and fast service, beautiful decor, and a great atmosphere. Large selection of tapas, and they're truly delicious. The prices are fair and the value for money is right. This restaurant won us over, and we'd love to come back. Today (June 3, 2025) we spontaneously decided to have tapas... and, as always, we were thrilled.

Tasty, but the portions could have been larger.

Unfortunately, the ambiance isn't very nice. But the food is incredibly delicious!!! Amazing! Great tapas, very typical, and an incredibly good salad!

Even after the renovation, it's a large, spacious restaurant where there's always something going on. The tapas were plentiful to choose from, there was something for every taste, the quality was average, not particularly outstanding. When the weather is good you can sit outside in front of and behind the restaurant.

The new waitress was friendly, but the service was generally inattentive and we had to wait a long time to reorder drinks and dessert. Instead of tapas, we would have liked the classics (schnitzel, currywurst) back. The buns were delicious, but unfortunately the dessert (vanilla cream, white chocolate) was not. Little carbonation in the spritzers. The ambience was not right for a tapas bar, there was no flair. But the price is okay.

Unfortunately, Roxy’s no longer exists, but we now have delicious tapas, pizza and delicious sandwiches in the Veranda Tapas & Sports Bar.

We have ordered but definitely want to come by soon. The food was great. The sauces (rosemary and champion ragout) were particularly delicious. The tapas are varied and the small portions are great for sharing and enjoying variety. The driver was extremely friendly and the delivery was quick. We are grateful for this delicious improvement. (We became aware of the location through a flyer). Very good, gladly again 😊

Location is good, close to the Subway Station and next to a Sport Club The place is large. Tapas are good but small, so if you are hungry you need 3 to 4 dishes for yourself. We had Tapas and at end shared a Pizza. Together with 3 beers we Ended with 45euro each. That is on the pricy side Service soso, often we were not seen..

This is my first time in Germany and the first German restaurant I’ve eaten at. I’m so lucky to have found such a great restaurant! The food is really delicious, and the boss is very enthusiastic and always cares about your eating habits? Also helped us take photos. Because we don’t know the types of German beer, we were invited to try it. We are so lucky to eat here, thank you boss.

I liked the Roxy back then, really like the location and was there for the first time since the change of ownership. We were there during the week and the store was almost empty. We looked for a nice place and the tickets were brought to us straight away. Unfortunately, no one came to take our orders. That took forever, the employee preferred to stand at the counter and chat. Then we both wanted the homemade iced tea. No, there isn't, no ingredients. Well, ordered something else to drink and pizza. The food took a relatively long time for the few visitors and unfortunately the taste wasn't great either. During the entire time, no one even looked at our drinks or asked if we would like anything else. When we wanted to pay at some point, we went straight to the front because we were treated like air the entire evening. Food and service definitely need improvement.

By far the best tapas we have eaten. Very good atmosphere as the service created a good atmosphere. Not a run-of-the-mill cramped, cramped store as is unfortunately the case in 80% of the stores in Hamburg. We'll definitely come again.

I'm shocked. We were there for the first time after the change of ownership. The map and the social media presence definitely convinced us. Unfortunately, the evening was anything but satisfactory. Since the company takes time to answer and sometimes assumes “other intentions”, I would also like to take time to describe my experiences in detail. As already mentioned, the social media presence more than appealed to us, the location is great and the conditions are right so that you can relax and watch football around the corner. Roughly summarized, the menu consists of salads, tapas, German classics (currywurst, etc.), pizza and burger buns. In terms of selection, it is definitely well put together. My colleague wanted to order a pizza on site, but the answer was: “All pizzas are sold out!” That can happen, but it’s not a bad thing. However, the burger buns were no longer in stock, as was the currywurst. In summary: tapas yes, salad yes. Since the tapas didn't go down well with the other colleagues (it was just swimming in oil and tasted very bland), he finally decided on a salad. There were problems not only with the choice of food, but also with the service in general. The place wasn't nearly full and drinks always took at least 30 minutes. We were only able to reorder after we drew attention to ourselves. The two of us ordered a beer and some Alster water. The Alster water came after 30 minutes, and when we pointed out that the beer was still missing, they said: “Coming immediately.” It came 15 minutes later (after repeated requests). Why not bring this together and save yourself the journey? After a long wait, the wrong food arrived: “Yes, that’s what you ordered.” It was taken back, but not deleted from the cash register system; We then had to point it out again. The plates and glasses stood at our place for over two hours - no one thought about clearing them away. I'm not suggesting any intent. In my opinion, the staff tried very hard and was nice, but unfortunately they were completely overwhelmed and inexperienced. It's not easy to write a review like that and of course I'm sorry, but that's the only way a young shop can learn. In terms of price, the restaurant is already higher, and service and food like this don't go together. * Addendum to the answer from the local: I didn't check the menu again and I didn't know that the currywurst wasn't even on the menu or offered. The waiter didn't communicate in this way either (communication was generally very difficult). The fact is: there was no pizza and neither were the buns. To not comment on this and to speak of a dishonest review is honestly very sad and even cheeky!

I tested their new burger variations and it didn't taste good at all. I expected more. Unfortunately I can't recommend it

Finally, tapas (restaurant) in Alsterdorf! After a very friendly welcome, a great, very large selection of tapas in the menu. The service is very friendly throughout and you feel welcome as a guest. (This wasn't the case with the previous owners.) The food was of a good to very good standard. We enjoyed everything!😀👍 Looking forward to the next time, we will definitely be regular guests 🍻

We spontaneously had something to eat here. We had schnitzel Viennese style and the Holsteiner schnitzel. (Chicken) the schnitzels were very large and tender. The fries that came with it were also very tasty. Price performance very good.

The ambience and service are still good, unfortunately the food is no longer as good since the change of operator. It was ok, but unfortunately not nearly as good as before the change of operator. And it's more expensive too. It's a shame - it used to be one of my favorite restaurants.

This week we just spontaneously went to this restaurant Roxie for a few drinks. Unfortunately I have to say that the drink prices are very expensive/high. It wasn't even alcoholic drinks. 4 € for a small cola is definitely too much..

I think it's a successful restaurant where you can eat and drink in peace and even watch football

I celebrated my company anniversary at the Veranda. The preliminary discussion was a lot of fun and the result was perfect. The tables were beautifully decorated. I ordered a buffet for dinner, which exceeded my expectations. All guests (25 people) enjoyed it very much and were very enthusiastic about the service and the location. I can only recommend it. Many thanks to the team for the successful celebration.

Chairs too small for tall people You can watch football in the “lounge”. We were there for the “Roxie Open” dart tournament. Sitting outside is also possible.

Clearly a change of operator which led to prices being raised absurdly. Paying 6 euros for 0.5 liters of beer is beyond the scope. Awkward staff. Currywurst with fries for 12 euros. Little quality for this price. Unfortunately, it is no longer an address where you would like to stop by with friends or work colleagues. A pity

Five of us were at Roxie today. We had previously looked at the menu on the Roxie website. It explicitly says “we try to keep the menu as up to date as possible”. It was already clear to us beforehand that you can hardly get a farmer's breakfast these days for the price quoted there. In fact it costs 14.90. The same applies to all other dishes. You should make a little effort to bring it up to date. You could also suspect that you want to attract guests with low, false prices. The actual prices would have been perfectly fine if the food hadn't been so below average. The beer and cola tasted stale. Only the service was nice. There were only two other guests besides us in the rather large store. We're definitely not coming back. Not because of the wrong prices, but because of the really bad food.

Ok, I'll keep it short. I really hardly rate it but: Margarita 9.90 euros Tiny. Dough not cooked through. Dough as thin as cooking paper. Taste zero. Never again.

We visit the restaurant every time we are in Hamburg. Absolutely friendly team and the food tastes good. The portions are sufficient even for good eaters. The farmer's pan is top. Of course the other dishes too.

Unfortunately, everything goes wrong here. The restaurant is not well maintained at all, you wait forever for your food, which unfortunately is not good at all. You could definitely do more with it, it's a real shame...

Classic sports bar where you can also watch sporting events on TV. Rustic menu, whether currywurst fries or fried potatoes with fried eggs, or a burger, you can find everything your heart desires here. And the nice thing about it is you can also sit outside. Service price-performance and portion are right here.

There are various seating areas, although unfortunately some chairs are not really comfortable, especially for taller people. The food is okay, but sometimes takes a little long. I would particularly like to mention Adrian from the service. I have rarely seen someone so attentive, friendly and customer-oriented!

I always enjoy coming here. Original review (2021): Very nice bistro pub with good food and lunch. Very chic and modern furnishings, including the outside area. There are also sports broadcasts with Sky.

Lovely and nice employees, especially the lady with the short blonde hair and glasses. She does it with heart and is the reason why we keep coming back.

From the short-term telephone reservation, the friendly reception to the space or the food recommendation - 5 stars deserved. The portions are more than generous, the excellently prepared side salad and the sweet potato tip - a clear recommendation. Sky TV was on at the same time and the restaurant offers reserves for larger parties such as birthdays, Christmas parties or just spontaneous ones like we had today. I didn't eat anything, just drank something. Since green tea was out, the service was happy to put together a mixture of tea with fresh peppermint and ginger tea that I wanted. Very personable and friendly 💪🏻

Lokal durch Zufall entdeckt und spontan besucht zum After Work Treffen. Liegt am Ende einer Sackgasse, Parkplatz war direkt in der Straße zu bekommen. Es gibt vor und hinter dem Haus einen Außenbereich. Innen super gemütlich, modern und individuell eingerichtet, Bartresen und unterschiedliche Sitzbereiche. Wir waren im hinteren Sitzbereich und ich hatte einen Stuhl - leider nach 1 Stunde echt ungemütlich, harter Sitz und als Rückenlehne nur Gestellumrandung. Die Bänke sind deutlich bequemer. Sehr netter Service, wir hatten Currywurst (gr. Portion) und Ofenkartoffel mit Huhn und Salat. Portion eher klein, leider sehr wenig Huhn, für mich gerade so ausreichend aber mit 13.50€ auch nicht günstig. Wir würden nochmal kommen und gerne bei gutem Wetter alles genießen und das Schnitzel testen.

Das Essen in dieser Lokalität war lecker jedoch der Service untere aller Kanone. Wir waren hier spontan vor einem Konzert und wollten etwas gemütlich essen. Empfangen wurden wir mit einem erstaunten Blick, nach dem ich nach einem Tisch für drei gefragt habe. „Jetzt?“ war die Frage. Den gesamten Abend zog sich das ganze Thema Service, die Bedingung war super unaufmerksam und die Küche langsam. Die zusätzlich beworbenen Speisen vor der Tür konnten im Restaurant nicht noch einmal eingesehen werden und das Personal konnte darüber nicht beraten. Am Ende war das Zusatz Dessert um18:30 bereits ausverkauft. Sehr schade. Zum Ende mussten wir dann sehr hetzen. Zumindest waren aber alle freundlich. Fazit: wir werden hier daher nicht erneut essen. Dafür ist das Essen auch nur normale Qualität.

Wir haben hier zwei mal gegessen. Sehr nettes Personal, das Ambiente ist ok...die Preise zivil...und die Lage direkt neben der U 1 Alsterdorf...perfekt.

Kürbis-Suppe mit steirischem Kernöl und Croutons dazu Baguette @roxie.hamburg Bar - Restauramt - Cafe 2023-10-27 . Meine Suppe war zwar bisschen sehr pikant, aber trotzdem lecker. Schönes Ambiente, nettes Personal. Auch als Nicht-Hamburger geht eine Empfehlung raus.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvor kommend und auch das Essen war ein Traum! Sehr gerne immer wieder! Vor allem das Fleisch war sehr gut.

Das Restaurant bietet eine vielseitige Auswahl an köstlichen Gerichten in einer wunderschönen Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen!
