Roter Hof in Flensburg

Stopped for a currywurst with the Family. Food was very nice. However. It took about 1 hour to serve 3 wursts with fries. During lunch, with children, without informing of this insane time to serve - not ok. The food was first server when sdkef for. Sad that a Nice place like this has such horrific service... Update: Ok they are a bit slow. However, excellent food (curry wurst) and great location so all in all worth it! Stopping by everytime I travel through Flensburg.

We really loved this cafe/restaurant. We thought it was just a cafe, but when we saw the menu we were proven wrong. This time it was just a cocoa and a delicious dessert, but we will definitely come back for dinner sometime. And with Böhmi, the super nice service person, you felt like you were in very good hands. What's a bit of a shame is that you can only get a table for up to 10 people, as we are sometimes a larger group.

Located in the popular Rote Straße area, in the charming backyard. The furnishings are somewhat sober, reminiscent of a canteen with a slightly industrial look. The service is very courteous and friendly. Also very fast. The food is delicious and the price-performance ratio is definitely good. The selection of dishes is absolutely sufficient with different variants.

We had dinner at the Roter Hof yesterday for our anniversary and we were both very satisfied. The schnitzel tasted fantastic. Would love to come back.

We were there as a family with 2 children. Very good service, very family and child friendly. There was an extra bag with crayons etc. for the kids. The food was very tasty, plentiful and good value for money 👍

Good food. Nice, clean surroundings. Very helpful staff. Homemade fish n' chips. 2 large pieces of cod in homemade dough. Homemade currywurst for my wife. Chips Washington warm and crispy, but more rustic chips would have suited the dishes. Our son got a plain burger with chips and he was happy for it.

From the outside, the place looks a bit boring and maybe even a bit dingy. However, it became something of a different story when we entered the restaurant - it was an old building with an industrial look that had its charm. Food and service were really good. Proper German food, simple, delicious, reasonable portions and not too greasy into oil, so we avoided heartburn. One could easily come here again when visiting Flensburg.

Soooo delicious breakfast!! I would almost go so far as to say this is the best breakfast in Flensburg! :) and the price is more than okay! The service wasn't annoying at all even though we had so many extra requests!!! We'd love to come back 🫶🏼

Super tasty, lots of choice. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available. From fish to sausage, everything is delicious. Locally nice and cozy. Toilet clean. Staff attentive and friendly.

We can absolutely recommend this restaurant at any time of the day. The breakfast is great, as are the lunch dishes and you can also eat well here in the evening. It has charm inside and outside, as it is quiet in the backyard and away from the street. We are regular guests and hope to keep it up!!!! 👏🏼

Ate the scampi with tomatoes in onion/garlic sauce. They tasted excellent. The price for it was okay.

Today we followed a Flensburger's tip and went to eat at the Roter Hof. The service was very nice and friendly, the food came quickly and tasted very good. A really nice restaurant with lots of places inside and outside in the historic courtyard. We will definitely come back on our next vacation in Flensburg.

The red courtyard is a nice place to stop. You can sit comfortably in the courtyard and the interior is very attractively designed. However, my meal...pasta with pecorino sauce...was a disappointment. The sauce was simply a béchamel mash without any cheese taste and the dubious experience was topped by a raspberry sauce spread over the entire dish. The currywurst was delicious. We ordered with a side salad. A note that you also have to order the fries separately would have been nice. When ordered again, the fries came very quickly. Conclusion. Currywurst goes well. Update: we were there again for breakfast. That was really good.

At first I was a bit embarrassed by the written instructions at the entrance to the restaurant: This is not how you welcome your guests; What has been noted can also be regulated differently! - A very nice and Competent service - lady saw our hesitation and then very kindly convinced us to stay. She continued to take great care of our order etc. The 'curry rice + chicken strips', as well as the 'baked potato' were very tasty! In my opinion a little more seasoning would have been good for the food...

Great quality! Always fresh and delicious. It's not a fast food restaurant so feel free to take some time with you. Whether with meat, vegetarian or vegan, you can always find something good. Very nice atmosphere.

We went to the Roter Hof for breakfast. Unfortunately there was apparently only room for two people outside… The choice fell on the “Veggi Breakfast” and the Panini with Prosciutto. Both orders were brought to the table quickly. The brown bread at the veggie breakfast was a bit dry, the roll was probably frozen. Otherwise a reasonable breakfast for the price. There was nothing to complain about with the panini! All in all, the Rote Hof is a good place to have breakfast in downtown Flensburg.

REALLY bad service that you sit and wait SO LONG to be allowed to order! We HAD put down the menu cards and sat and looked for the waiters to be allowed to order, but they were busy standing around doing nothing and talking amongst themselves and looking around at all the guests other than us! NOT cool when you have hungry children with you and you have to wait over half an hour just to order, I wonder how long they take to MAKE the food.....? 🤔 We left again when we weren't served anyway 🤷👎 So would NOT recommend this place for families with children or if you are hungry here and now! You must have plenty of time and go in there a few hours before you get hungry 🤔🤔👎

We went to this restaurant yesterday because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, our little white dog wasn't allowed into the restaurant. This should perhaps be announced on the homepage in the future! Luckily the very friendly waitress told us that the terrace would be open due to the good weather. We got a nice place there. My wife had the schnitzel with onion mushroom vegetables and fried potatoes. She liked it very much. The mushroom vegetables and the fried potatoes were very tasty. I was allowed to try it too. The schnitzel was also very good! I had the prawn pan with a total of twelve prawns and everything that was advertised on the menu served on a hot pan. It was still sizzling. It was a real treat!!! I have never had prawns so tasty in any other restaurant. We will go there again next Monday or Tuesday and I will eat it again. Maybe I can also speak to the chef for a moment and ask how he conjured it up😉😁 express praise for the kitchen!!! The two ladies who served outside were very friendly and nice! Eating out is fun and that's why we'll be going there again soon!!!

A bit disappointing. Very expensive for what you get. The food was ok but nothing special and as I said it was very expensive. The ambience is really nice and the service was really friendly but you have a bit of a feeling that the kitchen is resting on it.

Really great restaurant! The food tastes great. I had a potato pan. The vegetables were nice and crunchy and the sauce was spicy. The atmosphere is very cozy. The courtyard in particular looks really hyge outside. Unfortunately we had to sit inside but sitting outside will be made up for later! The staff was super nice. The personal highlight was the vegetarian/vegan menu, which has a lot to offer.

Unfortunately we cannot rate everything because we were denied entry as a group (we did NOT want to put tables together) of 8 people (50-70 years old) sober!!!! Groups are not allowed to sit outside!!! If we had all come individually there would have been no problems. We were at a loss for words. It's also strange that our group's reviews don't appear here.

Unfortunately we were asked to leave as we were a group of 9 people. We actually wanted to have a drink there after the beautiful city tour. They don't want groups. I think that's discrimination.

Nice restaurant with a delicious breakfast, there is something for everyone, from vegetarian to vegan.

We ended up here by chance on a day trip to Flensburg. Late afternoon, a little something to eat and drink in the courtyard in front of the hotel, great! Certainly even better on warm summer evenings!

I agree with the other positive reviews. Very friendly service, good meal and average prices. The chairs in the outdoor area need to be replaced - they are old and wobbly, which was hugely annoying.

Good food, ok price but sluggish service.

Once again a typical Flensburg backyard case. You have to go into the alley and at the end is the Red Court. A great, varied menu with vegetarian and vegan options too. Very attentive and friendly staff and the food was delicious. So far I've tried the pan fish, the chicken burger, the prawn pan and the pulled pork burger and then of course the desserts. We'll definitely be back. THANK YOU for a great dinner.

Located in the beautiful backyard. Nice restaurant, cheap prices. From 12 p.m. there is unlimited warm food, a delicious range of cakes and desserts. As I could see, there was also a solid base of visitors. But walk-in customers also get places.

We tried this restaurant today and were extremely satisfied. The menu is clear (in a good way) and offers a nice selection of different delicacies. There are also some vegan dishes available. The composition of the dishes is upscale and special. We ate Flensburg panfish, chicken breast fillet in a nut crust and prawn pan. Each of the dishes was a stunner. Lots of fish, extremely crispy fried potatoes, delicious dips, the food was served very hot. The price-performance ratio is right. The employees are very friendly and well trained. The atmosphere is cozy and modern. There were four of us and we were all very enthusiastic. It was our first time there, but definitely not our last. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Very tasty food and very friendly service

The food was really good and I wanted to pay with a voucher that had just expired 1.5 months ago. (valid for 3 years) Because of the pandemic and work, I didn't have time beforehand and couldn't get a table to make a reservation for dinner in the evening. I spoke to the boss about this and no goodwill from him. It's a shame 40 euros just go away. So it's best not to get any vouchers in case a new pandas comes along. Answer from the boss We all suffered in the pandemy.

We didn't reserve a table, but we still found an opportunity despite the restaurant being full. The service was very friendly and competent! The paninis (also vegan) are highly recommended! And that although the dough of the bread is unfortunately not that good. That makes up for the filling tenfold! So delicious!

Es ohne Ausnahme immer absolut fantastisch hier. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und das Ambiente sehr gemütlich und einladend. Hab selten so gut gegessen.
