We sat outside in a courtyard, quite quiet, only ate small things but the atmosphere was nice, the service was friendly and the food was good.

Today we followed a Flensburger's tip and went to eat at the Roter Hof. The service was very nice and friendly, the food came quickly and tasted very good. A really nice restaurant with lots of places inside and outside in the historic courtyard. We will definitely come back on our next vacation in Flensburg.

The red courtyard is a nice place to stop. You can sit comfortably in the courtyard and the interior is very attractively designed. However, my meal...pasta with pecorino sauce...was a disappointment. The sauce was simply a béchamel mash without any cheese taste and the dubious experience was topped by a raspberry sauce spread over the entire dish. The currywurst was delicious. We ordered with a side salad. A note that you also have to order the fries separately would have been nice. When ordered again, the fries came very quickly. Conclusion. Currywurst goes well. Update: we were there again for breakfast. That was really good.

At first I was a bit embarrassed by the written instructions at the entrance to the restaurant: This is not how you welcome your guests; What has been noted can also be regulated differently! - A very nice and Competent service - lady saw our hesitation and then very kindly convinced us to stay. She continued to take great care of our order etc. The 'curry rice + chicken strips', as well as the 'baked potato' were very tasty! In my opinion a little more seasoning would have been good for the food...

Great quality! Always fresh and delicious. It's not a fast food restaurant so feel free to take some time with you. Whether with meat, vegetarian or vegan, you can always find something good. Very nice atmosphere.

We went to the Roter Hof for breakfast. Unfortunately there was apparently only room for two people outside… The choice fell on the “Veggi Breakfast” and the Panini with Prosciutto. Both orders were brought to the table quickly. The brown bread at the veggie breakfast was a bit dry, the roll was probably frozen. Otherwise a reasonable breakfast for the price. There was nothing to complain about with the panini! All in all, the Rote Hof is a good place to have breakfast in downtown Flensburg.

REALLY bad service that you sit and wait SO LONG to be allowed to order! We HAD put down the menu cards and sat and looked for the waiters to be allowed to order, but they were busy standing around doing nothing and talking amongst themselves and looking around at all the guests other than us! NOT cool when you have hungry children with you and you have to wait over half an hour just to order, I wonder how long they take to MAKE the food.....? 🤔 We left again when we weren't served anyway 🤷👎 So would NOT recommend this place for families with children or if you are hungry here and now! You must have plenty of time and go in there a few hours before you get hungry 🤔🤔👎

We went to this restaurant yesterday because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, our little white dog wasn't allowed into the restaurant. This should perhaps be announced on the homepage in the future! Luckily the very friendly waitress told us that the terrace would be open due to the good weather. We got a nice place there. My wife had the schnitzel with onion mushroom vegetables and fried potatoes. She liked it very much. The mushroom vegetables and the fried potatoes were very tasty. I was allowed to try it too. The schnitzel was also very good! I had the prawn pan with a total of twelve prawns and everything that was advertised on the menu served on a hot pan. It was still sizzling. It was a real treat!!! I have never had prawns so tasty in any other restaurant. We will go there again next Monday or Tuesday and I will eat it again. Maybe I can also speak to the chef for a moment and ask how he conjured it up😉😁 express praise for the kitchen!!! The two ladies who served outside were very friendly and nice! Eating out is fun and that's why we'll be going there again soon!!!

A bit disappointing. Very expensive for what you get. The food was ok but nothing special and as I said it was very expensive. The ambience is really nice and the service was really friendly but you have a bit of a feeling that the kitchen is resting on it.

Really great restaurant! The food tastes great. I had a potato pan. The vegetables were nice and crunchy and the sauce was spicy. The atmosphere is very cozy. The courtyard in particular looks really hyge outside. Unfortunately we had to sit inside but sitting outside will be made up for later! The staff was super nice. The personal highlight was the vegetarian/vegan menu, which has a lot to offer.

Unfortunately we cannot rate everything because we were denied entry as a group (we did NOT want to put tables together) of 8 people (50-70 years old) sober!!!! Groups are not allowed to sit outside!!! If we had all come individually there would have been no problems. We were at a loss for words. It's also strange that our group's reviews don't appear here.

Unfortunately we were asked to leave as we were a group of 9 people. We actually wanted to have a drink there after the beautiful city tour. They don't want groups. I think that's discrimination.

We ended up here by chance on a day trip to Flensburg. Late afternoon, a little something to eat and drink in the courtyard in front of the hotel, great! Certainly even better on warm summer evenings!

I agree with the other positive reviews. Very friendly service, good meal and average prices. The chairs in the outdoor area need to be replaced - they are old and wobbly, which was hugely annoying.

Good food, ok price but sluggish service.

Once again a typical Flensburg backyard case. You have to go into the alley and at the end is the Red Court. A great, varied menu with vegetarian and vegan options too. Very attentive and friendly staff and the food was delicious. So far I've tried the pan fish, the chicken burger, the prawn pan and the pulled pork burger and then of course the desserts. We'll definitely be back. THANK YOU for a great dinner.

Located in the beautiful backyard. Nice restaurant, cheap prices. From 12 p.m. there is unlimited warm food, a delicious range of cakes and desserts. As I could see, there was also a solid base of visitors. But walk-in customers also get places.

We tried this restaurant today and were extremely satisfied. The menu is clear (in a good way) and offers a nice selection of different delicacies. There are also some vegan dishes available. The composition of the dishes is upscale and special. We ate Flensburg panfish, chicken breast fillet in a nut crust and prawn pan. Each of the dishes was a stunner. Lots of fish, extremely crispy fried potatoes, delicious dips, the food was served very hot. The price-performance ratio is right. The employees are very friendly and well trained. The atmosphere is cozy and modern. There were four of us and we were all very enthusiastic. It was our first time there, but definitely not our last. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Very tasty food and very friendly service

The food was really good and I wanted to pay with a voucher that had just expired 1.5 months ago. (valid for 3 years) Because of the pandemic and work, I didn't have time beforehand and couldn't get a table to make a reservation for dinner in the evening. I spoke to the boss about this and no goodwill from him. It's a shame 40 euros just go away. So it's best not to get any vouchers in case a new pandas comes along. Answer from the boss We all suffered in the pandemy.

We didn't reserve a table, but we still found an opportunity despite the restaurant being full. The service was very friendly and competent! The paninis (also vegan) are highly recommended! And that although the dough of the bread is unfortunately not that good. That makes up for the filling tenfold! So delicious!

Es ohne Ausnahme immer absolut fantastisch hier. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und das Ambiente sehr gemütlich und einladend. Hab selten so gut gegessen.

Wir waren jetzt häufiger hier. Das Ambiente stimmt, die Bedienung perfekt und das Essen absoluter Wahnsinn. Eine absolute 5 Sterne Empfehlung, wir würden gerne mehr geben wenns möglich wäre.

Trevlig ställe som ligger lite lugnare. Mysig restaurang , beställde hamburgare som var god. Mysig atmosfär, snabb och trevlig personal, vettiga priser.

Wir müssten etwas länger auf das Essen warten. Dafür, dass es einfache Zubereitung wie Ofenkartoffeln war, dauerte es etwas lange. Der Quark zu den Kartoffeln schmeckte wie der , den wir zu unseren gekauften Kartoffeln bekommen. Dennoch war das essen o.k. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und nett. Ambiente eher rustikal und einfach, aber sehr ansprechend.

Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier absolut! Wir waren gleich zwei Mal in unserem Urlaub dort, weil es uns so gut geschmeckt hat! Die Currywurst, Burger und die Süßkartoffel aus dem Ofen sind sehr zu empfehlen.

Tasty, friendly, bit noisy, but understandable

Ich war gestern zum ersten Mal dort. Das Ambiente ist wirklich sehr schön. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Ich hatte ein Frühstück, es war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Ich fand es gut,das es sehr viel Auswahl gab. Schade fand ich jedoch,dass es keine pflanzliche Milch zum Kaffe gab. Ein vegetarisches/ veganes Frühstück wird angeboten aber keine pflanzliche Milch.

Es ist interessant die Rote Strasse in Flensburg zu besuchen. Im allgemeinen gibt es viele schöne und interessante Geschäfte in den Hinterhöfen! Jeder einzelne Hof mit ihren Gebäuden erzählt seine Geschichte! Der Rote Hof liegt ebenso in einem dieser Höfe. Hier kann man draußen sowie im Restaurant sitzen. Es gibt einen ebenerdigen Rollstuhlgerechten Eingang! Ob dies auch für den Sanitärbereich zu tragen kommt kann ich nicht sagen, diesen Bereich habe ich nicht aufsuchen müssen! Das Essen, hier ein Burger konnte ich mir selber zusammenstellen. Somit war es dann ein Chickenburger mit Speckscheiben, Pommes Frites, Mayo und Salat. Das "Brötchen" (der Buns) wird selber hergestellt! Ein sehr schmackhaftes Essen was ich gerne empfehlen möchte!

Update: Sooo, nach längerer Zeit (leider🤷🏼‍♂️) war ich mit Begleitung im "Roter Hof"... auf eine klassische "Mantaplatte" (Currywurst mit Pommes). Die selbstgemachte pikante Currysauce war sehr lecker, gleiches gilt für die Pommes... Positiv zu erwähnen ist auch der freundliche und aufmerksame Service. Fazit: Empfehlenswert Älterer Beitrag,: Hier gibt es leckeres Essen und ein faires Preis - Leistungsverhältnis in guter Qualität... der Service und das gemütlich - rustikale Ambiente laden zum längeren verweilen ein... einzig die Akustik ist mir etwas zu laut, aber das ist jammern auf gehobenen Niveau. Ich werde das Restaurant definitiv noch einmal besuchen.

Ich kann den „Roten Hof“ sehr empfehlen. Reservierung klappt, freundlicher Empfang, freundlicher Service, gutes Essen zu wirklich moderaten Preisen. Da kommt man immer gern mal wieder vorbei!

Gute Auswahl, freundlicher Service

Wir waren hier gestern am späten Nachmittag essen. Service war sehr nett und freundlich. Die Speisekarte hatte eine tolle Auswahl, viele vegetarische und vegane Gerichte und auch viele Gerichte, die einem nicht ständig und überall angeboten werden. Alle Gerichte waren sehr lecker und die Flensburger Rumcreme zum Abschluss war ein Traum.

Es ist ein sehr sehr schöner Ort um sein Essen zu genießen.

Sehr schönes Restaurant in einem alten Ausspann. Hier gibt es eine regelmäßig wechselnde Speisekarte. Es gibt auch den guten Meindl Kaffee!

Es ist sowohl innen als auch außen sehr gemütlich. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden Geschmack das richtige, die Speisen sind sehr lecker und der Service ist auch sehr gut. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Danke für den schönen Abend.

Die vegetarischen u veganen Gerichte schmecken überwiegend, nur die Portionen sind zu klein! (Pecorino Nudeln) und dass dennoch "fleischliche" Namen bemüht werden wie z.B. "vegetarisches Gyros", bei dem dann zu raten ist, woraus dies besteht (Saitan?) ist definitiv unnötig bis nervig! Deutlichen Punkteabzug gibt es zudem für die unfreundliche Art am Telefon- geht gar nicht! Sowie die Tatsache, dass 3 Mitarbeitende herumstehen u die Tische nicht abgeräumt sind! Heute 8.9.23 besser..!

Wir hatten einen Bürger, der sehr köstlich war. Die Bedienung war freundlich und wir mussten nicht lange warten. Die Currywurst ist dort ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Man kan drinnen uns auch draussen sitzen. Eine gute Adresse und immer gut besucht, also gerne vorher reservieren.

We enjoyed a very nice lunch here while visiting the town. Super service and well organized so all was served fast and in order of arrival. We had curry wurst mit pommes and I went for the pikanter vesion. Really nice homemade sausage. We would return and eat here again next time we visit
