Anyone expecting Michelin-starred cuisine will be disappointed. BUT!! Anyone who appreciates warm, family-friendly service, who wants to be treated like a regular on their first visit, who enjoys simple but good, home-style cooking that's freshly prepared, who likes affordable food, who enjoys the atmosphere of a genuine inn that's the meeting place for the entire village, will go home satisfied and come back! Thank you for two wonderful evenings with you; we felt at home! Special thanks also for the opportunity to stay overnight with you in our camper!

Super friendly, authentic atmosphere, good food

I highly recommend it. We're there every two weeks, usually with about 10 people, and everyone enjoys it. The plates are always empty, so nothing stands in the way of nice weather. Best regards, de'Hesse.

Simple, rustic pub/restaurant. The food was delicious, with a good steak of good quality meat, and a schnitzel with a delicious cream sauce, prepared on request. Very good value for money, and friendly staff. We'd be happy to come back.

Felt like having a beer in the sun today After calling whether the terrace was open, this was answered in the affirmative. For lunch we ate a delicious currywurst with fries. After a few beers we got hungry again. The kitchen was actually still closed. But the innkeeper immediately said we could eat something. We ordered entrecot with onions without potatoes. Since we also wanted to know what the pepper sauce tasted like, we got some. Everything is just great. We have rarely eaten such delicious steaks. If steaks, only here. The food was very tasty (pork fillet with side dishes), the service was good. The restaurant looks a little inconspicuous from the street when driving past. I was pleasantly surprised!

Under new management since February 5, 2025. I can only recommend it.

The ambience is getting old, but is easily made up for by the delicious and very good food and the great attentive service. Price and performance are very excellent.

Eaten cream medallions with fried potatoes and salad, the portion was very rich and tasty. Everything was freshly prepared and the price is right in this restaurant. The owners were very friendly and attentive.

Ein Neuer Pächter. Essen ist sehr lecker, der Chef ist sehr freundlich. Hier ist eine schöne Kegelbahnen, die gepflegt ist. Ich kann nur sagen einfach hingehen und selbst erleben. 👍

Wir waren heute zum 1. Mal dort essen. Sehr freundlicher Chef, der sehr bemüht ist.. Die Einrichtung ist alt, aber sauber. Leider ist die Karte sehr überschaubar, wenig Auswahl und die Portionen klein.. Essen war frisch.. Mit Hunger sollte man da aber nicht hingehen.. Der Grillteller war mager für 13,50.. Wir kommen nicht unbedingt nochmal wieder, da muss sich der Chef was einfallen lassen betr. der Portionen..

Es gibt wieder einen neuen Pächter. Neueröffnung war am 6.11.2019 Dehalb dürften alle Rezensionen vor diesem Datum nicht mehr gelten.

Das Essen war Super. Ich war sehr überrascht.

Das Restaurant hat laut neuem Besitzer vor einem Monat neu aufgemacht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen war lecker.

Anscheinend gibt es dieses Restaurant nicht mehr 😢 es war dort sehr lecker

Gemütliche Kneipe mit exzellentem Essen

Gutes Essen in familiärer Atmosphäre.

Lädt zum feierabend Bierchen oder einem deftigen Happen zuessen ein. Auch das Frühstücks buffet ist super! Muss man aber vorher reservieren.
