Vorweg, wir gehen sehr gerne in die Rösterei Fuchs. Das Essen ist hervorragend , das Ambiente schön. Wirklich das Einzige was fehlt zum wirklich Wohlfühlen ist eine zugewandte, freundliche Servicekraft. Wir waren heute Mittag dort und es waren zwei genervte Mitarbeiter im Einsatz. Zumindest machte dies den Eindruck. Auch schien die Stimmung untereinander nicht sehr gut. Dies gibt als Gast ein unangenehmes Gefühl. Leider war dies bei unserem letzten Besuch auch schon sehr ähnlich . Schade, den eigentlich habt ihr wirklich 5 Sterne verdient.

Ich habe dort zum Mittag einen Bagelburger gegessen. Der war sehr lecker. Ich trinke in der Rösterei Fuchs auch gerne öfter Kaffee. Den liebe ich.

Einfach mein Lieblingscafé. Ich gehe dort regelmäßig essen und Kaffee trinken und hole mir regelmäßig für zu Hause hier unsere Kaffeebohnen für unsere Maschine. ❤️ Personal ist fast immer sehr nett. Natürlich merkt man schon einen gewissen Stresspegel, wenn es extrem voll ist, aber das stört mich nicht. Wir sind alles nur Menschen und gerade in der Gastronomie sollte man nett zum Personal sein. 🙏

Leckeres Frühstück für zwei Personen😋, Rührei mit Schinken war perfekt, sehr nette Bedienung, Kaffee war sehr stark und der Cappuccino mit Espresso sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Durch einen großzügigen Gutschein waren wir nun schon öfter hier frühstücken. Ich würde mich freuen wenn es mal etwas anderes z. B . Gemüse überbacken mit vielen Gewürzen o.ä.geben würde. Es ist nichts umwerfendes dabei. Vielleicht kann man die Speisekarte ja etwas aufpeppen.

Es ist sehr laut und es dauert etwas lange bis die Bedienung am Tisch ist. Das Essen war ne 10/10 👌 Dankeschön

Wir besuchten dieses Café, um uns mit Verwandten auf einen Kaffee zu treffen, da sie dort wohnen und uns das Café empfohlen hatten. Wir waren vor den anderen da. Der Mann, der anscheinend der Besitzer war, kam mehrmals vorbei und fragte, ob wir schon bestellen wollten. Jedes Mal erklärten wir ihm, dass wir noch auf zwei weitere Personen warteten. Dabei lächelte er kein einziges Mal und wirkte ziemlich ungeduldig, als ob er sich wunderte, warum wir nicht sofort bestellten und gingen. Sobald der Rest unserer Familie eintraf, änderte sich sein Verhalten schlagartig, da sie Stammgäste waren. Plötzlich war er freundlich, lächelte, bot an, einen zusätzlichen Tisch zu bringen und wollte unserem Kleinkind sogar Malutensilien anbieten! Später beschwerte sich jedoch seine Frau, dass unser Kleinkind sich zu viel auf dem Stuhl bewegte! Ich bestellte den Chai Flamingo, der als koffein- und zuckerfrei beschrieben war. Leider war er viel süßer als erwartet, so süß, dass ich ihn nicht austrinken konnte. Die Atmosphäre wirkte insgesamt recht dunkel, trocken und nicht besonders einladend. Ich habe schon viele Cafés weltweit besucht und weiß daher, was echte Gastfreundschaft bedeutet. Leider habe ich mich hier nicht willkommen gefühlt. Aufgrund unserer Erfahrung würde ich dieses Café Familien mit kleinen Kindern oder Kleinkindern nicht empfehlen.

Absolut einen Besuch wert! Mittlerweile schon mehrfach hier gewesen und jedes Mal begeistert. Für mich definitiv eines der besten Restaurants in Schwerin. Super Qualität, tolle Auswahl auf der Karte und richtig guter Kaffee. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf gute Zutaten und Details gelegt wird. Egal ob Frühstück, Kuchen oder Abendessen – bisher war immer alles top. Dazu ein schönes Ambiente und freundlicher Service. Für Schwerin wirklich etwas Besonderes.

Wir haben hier Kaffee gekauft und getrunken. Der Kaffee war wirklich gut, aber die kurzhaarige ältere Dame an der Theke war das Paradebeispiel dafür, wer nicht im Gastgewerbe arbeiten sollte. Ihre negative Ausstrahlung hat uns das ganze angenehme Erlebnis verdorben.

Der Service war sehr langsam. Wir mussten 20 Minuten warten, um Kaffee zu bestellen, und weitere 30 Minuten, um zu bezahlen. Das ist eine viel zu lange Wartezeit für eine Tasse Kaffee.

Guter Kaffee und getränke, sehr nettes Ambientes und freundlicher Service. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Es ist eine wirklich schöne Idee, hier ein Café zu eröffnen. Und für Kaffeeliebhaber wird hier auch einiges an Kaffee aus aller Herren Länder geboten. Auch die selbstgebackenen Kuchen sind super lecker gewesen. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es allerdings, weil die sonstigen Preise für Essen echt nicht angemessen sind. Hier ist definitiv Luft nach unten. Einen weiteren Stern Abzug, weil es weder in der Karte, noch auf einem Aufsteller o.ä. den Hinweis gibt, dass es auch Kuchen gibt. Das haben wir erst auf Nachfrage erfahren.

Kaffeerösterei mit Gastronomie. Schneller und freundlicher Service. Sehr leckere Speisen und Getränke. Als Empfehlung gibt es den Kaffee der Woche.

Nettes Cafe, mit großer Auswahl. Preise sind etwas hoch, aber dafür hat der Café auch eine äußerst gute Qualität. Ich kann den Chai sehr empfehlen, auch der Käsekuchen wär schmackhaft.

Wirklich schönes Café mit großer Auswahl an süßen und deftigen Snacks. Der Flammkuchen mit Walnuss, Ziegenkäse und Birne war sehr lecker, reicht aber auch locker für zwei Personen!

Ein toller Ort zum Frühstücken. Alles, was wir bestellt haben, war köstlich. Ich würde wiederkommen, wenn ich hier wohnen würde.

Sehr gemütliches Frühstückskaffe, das zum Verweilen einlädt. Der Kaffee ist sehr lecker aus einer Eigenrösterei. Die Frühstücksauswahl ist nicht sehr divers, jedoch sind die Speisen als sehr hochwertig anzusehen. Service war eifrig, wenn auch zu Beginn ein wenig ruppig. Das Brot mit Fenchelsalami ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir kommen seit Jahren immer wieder gerne in die Rösterei Fuchs. Hier wird man als Gast gesehen, freundlich behandelt und verwöhnt mit leckerem Essen. Die Speisekarte ist außergewöhnlich und die Speisen reichhaltig. Wir können die Rösterei Fuchs sehr empfehlen. Schön, dass Schwerin so ein Lokal hat.

Sehr nette Bedienung und super Essen. Verschiedene außergewöhnliche Kaffee- Getränke und eine große Tee- Auswahl

Wir wollten hier Frühstücken und haben 10 Minuten gewartet auf Karten. Die haben wir nicht bekommen und sie uns dann selbst geholt. Nach der Bestellung kam das Essen recht zügig aber wir hatten noch gar keine Getränke…. Dann haben wir einen schnell schnell Kaffee bekommen. Die Avocado auf dem Benedict war schon braun und es war auch nicht so viel drauf… Preis-Leistungs-technisch nicht besonders gut, da es auch sehr teuer war.

Wir lieben dieses Restaurant, und viele andere auch, daher empfehlen wir eine Reservierung. Ich suche schon seit Jahrzehnten nach einem Restaurant mit einer wirklich guten Sauce Hollandaise, und endlich habe ich eines gefunden! Die Sauce Hollandaise ist hervorragend! Das Essen ist fantastisch und die Portionen sind großzügig. Gerne werden die Gerichte nach Wunsch angepasst, und man kann auch à la carte bestellen, was wir aufgrund unserer Lebensmittelallergien sehr zu schätzen wissen. Da es sich um eine Kaffeerösterei handelt, kann man auch richtig guten Kaffee erwarten. Fuchs entwickelt sich schnell zu unserem Lieblingsrestaurant in unserer Heimatstadt, wo wir gerne essen und Zeit mit Freunden verbringen.

Wir sind das 4 mal dort gewesen. Super leckeres Frühstück, und ein wirklich gemütliches Ambiente. Leider fühlte es sich an, als wäre die Bedienung leicht überfordert oder genervt. Hier sollte dringend dran gearbeitet werden. Die beiden Mäuse hen die das Essen serviert und abgeräumt haben, waren dafür sehr freundlich. Im Großen und Ganzen ist die Rösterei Fuchs aber definitiv empfehlenswert.

Das Essen war köstlich, aber Vorsicht: Die herzhaften Gerichte reichen locker für zwei Personen. Wir waren pappsatt. Der Kaffee war gut, wahrscheinlich der beste, den wir seit unserer Abreise aus Australien in Deutschland getrunken haben. Der Service war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, und die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm.

Update 29.01.26 Nachdem ich das Lokal über ein halbes Jahr gemieden hatte, wollte ich der Rösterei noch einmal eine Chance geben. Das Frühstück (Porridge) war gut, daran gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Leider trübt der Service den Gesamteindruck erneut deutlich. Besonders die ältere Bedienung mit kurzen Haaren fiel wiederholt durch einen patzigen und unfreundlichen Umgangston auf. Gerade in der Gastronomie schätze ich erfahrenes Servicepersonal sehr – hier wirkt das Verhalten jedoch dauerhaft genervt und wenig serviceorientiert. Bereits bei meinem letzten Besuch war das so. Auf einfache Nachfragen wird unfreundlich reagiert, was den Aufenthalt unangenehm macht. An die Betreiber: Ein klärendes Personalgespräch wäre hier aus meiner Sicht dringend angebracht, da dieses Verhalten Gäste vergrault. War heute zum Mittagessen da – leider enttäuschend. Die Preise wurden deutlich erhöht, aber die Portionen sind kleiner geworden. Meine Buddha Bowl hatte ein völlig anderes Rezept als früher, ohne einen richtigen Hinweis auf der Karte. Auf Nachfrage kam nur eine patzige Antwort. Sehr schade, früher war’s besser.

Es war eine freundliche und entspannte Atmosphäre. Das Essen war einfach und gut. Der Service war zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Gern wieder! 🫶

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. Everything was absolutely delicious, from the Eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs to the coffee and tea. The eggnog latte was a real highlight and something truly special. A cozy atmosphere and friendly service – we'll definitely be back.

I really enjoyed my visit. It was perfect for a coffee date. There's a small selection of savory dishes on the menu and delicious cakes on display. Of course, you can also enjoy delicious coffee there, or buy whole beans to take away.

We had breakfast at Cafe Fuchs on Sunday; it's a regular spot for us in Schwerin 🤞 Reservations are highly recommended on weekends to snag a table by the window. The coffee is great, the food is delicious 😋, although I really miss the pastrami sandwich, which isn't on the current menu 😔 Unfortunately, I only noticed the Schnappuccino on the menu too late 😲 Let me know if you try it 🤞 For breakfast in Schwerin, Cafe Fuchs is definitely a great choice 👍

Right on the market square in Schwerin is the Fuchs coffee roastery 🦊. Great coffee for every taste, delicious food, and a pleasant atmosphere. We love coming here and do it often! 👍 I'm a fan of the pastrami sandwich.

We had a wonderful breakfast. The breakfast, with its Italian and French cured meats and cheeses, was of the highest quality in every detail. The jam tasted like it had just been made, the rolls were excellent, the coffee was a delight, the scrambled eggs with feta and tomato were divine, and the service at our table was exceptionally friendly. Everything was absolutely worth the price. Thank you very much.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We were there from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Unfortunately, no one came by to ask if we wanted to order anything else. That's my only criticism.

We recently visited your café and ordered coffee and two slices of cake. Unfortunately, both cakes were still frozen. We each tried a small piece, but then realized the cake was inedible and returned the plates to the waiter. To our surprise, instead of the two cakes we returned, we were brought only one slice – and even then, it was served on a plate with two forks. We find it completely unacceptable to keep two ordered (and unsatisfactory) cakes and only return one slice. Furthermore, we cannot understand why two adult guests would be served a single slice of cake on a shared plate. This approach is unprofessional and greatly disappointed us. We hope you will discuss this incident internally and ensure more respectful and customer-oriented service in the future.

The ambiance is lovely, but unfortunately often very loud. The food and drinks are tasty, but the food isn't good value for money. Once, I had the shakshuka for breakfast, and the eggs were far too runny. Since an unpleasant experience on my birthday a few years ago, I rarely go to the Fuchs coffee roastery anymore. I had reserved a table for breakfast for my birthday. It easily took half an hour before we were served. Then another 45 minutes passed before the food arrived. We barely finished eating and wanted to stay for more drinks, but we were asked to leave because the table had another reservation. What can I, as a customer, do about the fact that we received our food so late and that the restaurant's reservation slots are so limited? The experience was very embarrassing, especially as the host to my birthday guests.

It's a bit noisy when the café is as full as it was today during our visit. The sour cream and poppy seed cake is delicious. The French hot chocolate is also highly recommended.

We had breakfast at the Fuchs roastery in Schwerin and it was a truly wonderful start to the day! The lovely ambiance and the wonderful aroma of coffee beans are immediately noticeable upon entering. You instantly feel at ease and can tell that a lot of love and attention has been paid to every detail. We weren't disappointed with the food either. The savory breakfast with Eggs Benedict was superb, everything perfectly balanced. The sweet breakfast with quark waffles and blueberry pancakes was also a highlight. The house specialty, coffee, is a perfect complement, available with milk, hot chocolate, or ice cream. We even bought a few varieties of their coffee to take home for our own machine. Perhaps we can recreate a similar coffee experience at home. The prices are a bit higher, but justified. The service is friendly and attentive. The drinks and food arrived at the table in no time. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. A café we would definitely recommend.

I can't comment on the quality of the products because I simply wasn't served. Despite several friendly attempts on my part to buy coffee here, the saleswoman didn't deem it necessary to communicate with me. I assume this was due to my openly queer companion. I can buy my coffee elsewhere. Not here anymore.

The food was fantastic, as always. We've eaten there several times before. :) Unfortunately, I've also had the experience lately that one particular employee seems very overwhelmed. Just one example: I had a reservation and called ahead to ask a question. She then mentioned four times on the phone how busy they were, that I had to understand, and that they were extremely booked up and we couldn't come even fifteen minutes earlier. Otherwise, the service is very friendly. Especially the employee who served us. :D

We reserved a table in advance. The staff are very friendly, the decor is beautifully rustic, and the coffee bar is inviting with its many varieties. Coffee can be taken in beans or freshly ground. The selection of breakfast dishes is diverse, from homemade gluten-free granola to overnight oats, scrambled eggs, pancakes, and breakfast spreads—there's something for everyone. The coffee of the day was strong and flavorful. Everything was as we hoped.

We bought Espresso No. 2, which, upon request, was roasted only the day before. Unfortunately, when I tried it in the portafilter machine, I discovered that it was apparently older than the shop itself. The coffee had barely any aroma left. Even with a very fine grind, 18g came through in under 20 seconds. No body, hardly any crema, little flavor – more than disappointing for €32/kg. I definitely expected more from a roastery. The food at the roastery is quite expensive, but the taste is good. The selection is decent.

Our go-to place for short meetings in Schwerin for many years. The reservation system works wonderfully, the service is excellent, and the food and coffee are delicious. Usually very busy, but we're always happy to come back.

The coffee was delicious, but the Franzbrötchen were unfortunately left in the oven a little too long and therefore a little too crispy.

And we really enjoyed it. Delicious coffee, a wonderful farmhouse breakfast, and very friendly service.

We went for dinner... with Prosecco. My requested dish was no longer available (cheese!) - oh well. The prices have gotten steep, and our male server was so unfriendly, taciturn, and he probably goes to the basement to smile. Such a shame. The coffee there is actually quite delicious.

A bit of a mess organizationally... Breakfast was okay, but I had imagined something different for the coffee of the day (coffee crema)...

So I ordered the coffee to go and paid for it immediately before I went to work. I had to wait an extra 10 minutes or more because I didn't have time to wait for three or four waiters to prepare the coffee. So I didn't get my coffee and kept the money. It's really weird.

We felt very comfortable in the atmosphere, the food was excellent, and the temporary waiters were hard-working. It seems completely unprofessional when the head waiter appears hectic and stressed, and this behavior is passed on to the guests. Furthermore, it's inappropriate for management to reprimand their employees in public; there are private areas for that. Peace and quiet belong to the guests!

.You can do it, but better not. Grumpy service, long wait, ice-cold cake. Only the coffee was convincing. You can get better elsewhere!

Located at the real center of the city, a cool and well designed coffehouse perfect for breakfast. Bistro menu is from 1130. Outdoor seating too. Reservation recommended. Egg Benedict is perfect.

We love going to Rösterei Fuchs. They not only serve excellent coffee, but also a good breakfast and very, very tasty main courses that are anything but run-of-the-mill! Not to mention the delicious cakes and the always friendly waiters! In my opinion, it's one of the best places in Schwerin. And as if that weren't great enough, the prices are also very fair. What more could you want?

I went to the roastery today because I suspected I could get a filter coffee roast there. After I expressed my desire, I was confidently told that I would find what I was looking for there, even though the lady at the counter didn't even know what I wanted. She then gave me a dark roast, to which I pointed out that this roast wasn't suitable for filter coffee. She obviously couldn't handle this criticism, because I was treated very rudely afterwards and told in a very bitchy manner that we couldn't get together. After that, I left the shop without buying anything. It seemed to me as if the staff had no idea about coffee and were simply trying to sell me something. I don't usually like to write bad reviews, but I have rarely been treated as unprofessionally and rudely in a shop as today. That's completely unacceptable!!!

The visit is worth it! The food was incredibly good, and the cappuccino was perfect. The shop has a faint scent of fresh beans, which makes breakfast even more enjoyable. 😍😍

Really delicious food! Friendly service, lovely place! Highly recommend. We went for lunch and got the Buddha bowl, gnocchi, pulled pork sandwich and shashouka. All of it was good quality and delicious!

I was there with my Shiba Inu (a Japanese dog) and just ordered a coffee. So far, everything was fine. But then an employee came along whose behavior ruined everything. First, he said, "Cool Asian dog." – okay, let's leave it at that. But then it happened: He said, "You can tell by his eyes," and made that typical, derogatory gesture with his fingers to his eyes. I was stunned. Not only because it was completely inappropriate – but also because my parents are from Vietnam. And I seriously wonder how people in 2025 would still make such crude jokes – especially when they're talking to customers. The guy is just pathetic. The only thing that somewhat salvaged the moment: the Asian employee. Polite, calm, respectful. Others could really learn a thing or two from them.

We were there today. My husband had a goat burger (with delicious pan-fried potatoes) that was so delicious...and filling, I had to help out later. My cake was amazing, and so was the coffee and espresso, of course. We immediately bought espresso beans for home...a wonderful holiday memory.

Simply top-notch. The service was very polite and friendly. The tables were cleaned immediately after each guest. We were here for lunch. The menu offered delicious, hearty meals. The bowl, the herring, and the spinach dumplings were excellent. The coffee was exquisite. We would gladly return here anytime.

Dear Sir or Madam, I really don't want to be a fussy ranter. Neither of the waiters knew exactly which espresso was being used. Nor do they use suitable milk for the cappuccino. They say the milk comes from the Gläserne Molerie (glass dairy) - we have the same at home - but the cappuccino was burnt or it was simply cheap long-life milk. It can be done much better, but many cafes in Schwerin really mess it up with long-life milk. No waiter was interested in the almost-full cappuccino, which was also very interesting - the attentiveness. The service, except for the man, was very nice! The salesperson for the fresh coffee didn't know which beans were used in Espresso I. Also interesting. If I work somewhere 8 hours a day and it's about 10 types of coffee, I can learn it by heart, right? It just becomes ingrained over time, right? An inviting atmosphere, interesting menu, and a good selection of coffee beans are unfortunately useless when, even though half the tables are free, apparently no one can (or will) offer a seat. At least the service reminded me of the old Eastern Bloc days, which can be nice.
