I was here for the first time today and I thought I would come every day in the future! My experience here was really something special, I'm very annoyed that I didn't take a photo of the dish and the chai served! This is what the experience in the café must be like, the people here were so nice, I couldn't stop talking to the waiters! The café is extremely professional and sells real coffee art here, even the toilets were a 10/10 - the people here don't do things by halves! See you soon !!!

Always delicious food!!! Goat burger again today, very tasty

Nobody can do anything about -3° outside temperature. However, being cozy and warm inside is something else. A curtain in the front could probably help. There are very large entrance doors at the front. The drinks were served quickly, but we still had to wait 25 minutes (or half an hour) for breakfast, which was even more delicious.

Ich war früher gerne in der Rösterei Fuchs, aber leider hat die Qualität in meinen Augen nachgelassen. War zuletzt mit einem Freund zum Frühstück dort, und das Erlebnis war eher enttäuschend. Das Essen wirkte lieblos zusammengestellt, und insgesamt fehlte es an dem gewissen Etwas. Schade, dass hier nicht nach links und rechts geschaut wird, denn Schwerin hat mittlerweile einen neuen Standard erreicht. Zum Glück gibt es inzwischen viele tolle Frühstücksmöglichkeiten – da muss man sich schon etwas mehr Mühe geben, um mitzuhalten. Das ist leider so

Wie immer sehr sehr lecker, schneller Service, nette Beratung, toll angerichtet und es gibt eine glutenfreie Brot Alternative die sehr lecker ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The lukewarm potato salad is fantastic - sometimes with a large currywurst, today again with the great Wiener Schnitzel (veal)!❤️ Of course there are also delicious calorie bombs, pasteis de nata - and the incomparable scent when the coffee is roasted for free.😍

Be sure to reserve! It's easy to do via the website and space is guaranteed because it's full. Because the ambience is great and the food is good. The coffee is heavenly, definitely try the Romantico! On a Saturday, two more service staff wouldn't have hurt.

We were there for breakfast and had a very nice time. A special highlight, of course, is the coffee: wonderfully aromatic, not too thin, not too strong. But the breakfast also left nothing to be desired. Lovingly arranged on two cake stands, it consisted of a colorful mix of different types of sausage and cheese, (probably homemade?) fruit spreads, fruit, a kind of cream cheese cream and a good piece of butter. The various types of rolls served with it were small but very tasty. The breakfast for two was so lavish that we decided not to refill the bread basket. I would particularly like to emphasize the friendly and extremely courteous demeanor of the staff, despite what was apparently quite a stressful period in the restaurant. There was always a smile. We were asked several times if everything was OK. Clear recommendation for the Fuchs roastery!

We have enjoyed staying here in the past and always had a good time. Unfortunately, the service can no longer be linked to the old days. Yesterday was particularly “bad”. We had reserved a table at 4 p.m., the table wasn't free yet and we had to wait. That's not a big deal. But at 5:05 p.m. we were informed that our table was needed for a reservation. Um, we hadn't even been at our table for an hour, hadn't finished drinking yet and actually wanted to order something else. You ask yourself, what did we reserve for to be able to sit there for almost an hour?!

Unfortunately, Rösterei Fuchs has slowed down a lot... Despite a reservation, we had to wait for our table because it was still occupied and no care was taken to clear it in time. After one employee brought us the cards, just a minute later a second employee came and asked us if we had already chosen something. By the way, we weren't served twice by any employee; a new one always came. Our order came relatively quickly, but the portion was so small - this didn't do the price justice. After an hour we were informed, somewhat rudely, that this table would be needed in 40 minutes. There is very bad timing there... The toilets (only one each!) there are also underground. It's a shame, Rösterei Fuchs used to be so good.

Opening times no longer seem to be correct. We were informed that closing time was 6 p.m. (on a Thursday). n/c

Went here again for breakfast yesterday. It was great again, everything was very tasty, great service. We always enjoy coming here.

We went to the roastery for breakfast based on a recommendation. Unfortunately I have to say that it didn't live up to expectations. The coffee and the rooms were great, but unfortunately the breakfast left a lot to be desired. In my opinion, the biggest drawback was the rolls. When I go to a small private roastery for breakfast, I expect a lot of things, but certainly not baked rolls. Sausage and cheese were okay but not more than that, and the selection is also very limited. Conclusion: great for drinking coffee, but not for breakfast.

The Fuchs roastery in Schwerin scores with fresh and delicious cuisine that is impressive in terms of quality. Unfortunately, this impression is clouded by the often unfriendly and not very flexible service. In addition, the cake, which consists of frozen convenience products, is disappointing and the toilet situation needs improvement. However, if you primarily value good food, you will find what you are looking for here, but you should accept compromises in terms of atmosphere and service.

Nice and cozy café in a great location right on the market square. The coffee is really tasty and you can taste the quality (coffee of the day was from Bali). The breakfast is also very good and the cold cuts are of high quality. The pancakes are an absolute recommendation. Some of the best I've eaten in Schwerin so far. The service was friendly, but relatively unemotional.

The Fuchs roastery is very well known in Schwerin and recommended for buying great coffee. The roastery has also made a good name for itself as a breakfast restaurant. In the last four months I have been there three times. Of these, 2/3 experiences were disappointing. 1st visit: Friday afternoon with three other friends. The restaurant was well attended but not too crowded. A few tables were still free and we were able to sit down without a reservation. Coffee and drinks were, as always, very good. The taste of the tarte flambée was ok. The service was not convincing. We didn't feel welcome, more like an annoyance. At the time I thought maybe the waiter was having a bad day. 2nd visit: In the evening during the week, a good 2 hours before closing time. Get a place without a reservation without any problem. I wanted to have something to eat and drink with my girlfriend. Same waiters as the first visit. Mood: cold, negative, absolutely annoyed. The card was carelessly thrown onto the table and a “good evening” barely escaped our lips. But people also preferred to look at the market rather than talk to us. There were further unpleasant moments that led us to leave without ordering and go to another location. 3rd visit: Breakfast with a friend, during the week. After the previous experience I wasn't particularly keen, but my friend still had a voucher. I reserved a table online. That worked, I still had to call again because I had a query. The colleague on the phone was very friendly. We had breakfast for two and also scrambled eggs. We enjoyed the food. The coffee was, as always, very good. The service also scored again. We were served by different waitresses. Everyone nice and friendly. Conclusion: Coffee specialties are still recommended, and the culinary offerings are also good. There is a need to catch up here and there when it comes to service so that you can feel completely comfortable again.

I tried a wide variety of meals here and every meal tasted wonderful, especially the delicious different coffees and teas. It's a pleasure! But the tall, bald-headed waiter just makes me sad with his arrogant, dismissive demeanor. Why doesn't he do something different if he finds us coffee-goers so beneath him?

We were there on a Saturday (early) afternoon, hopefully not representative for a review. It was full, some of the staff were very stressed (the young lady behind the cake counter was very friendly). The cake was tasty but not very special, the pulled pork was a bit tough and not particularly special either.

Eine schöne Zeit mit einem besonderen Menschen. Telefonische Buchung klappte hervorragend. Sehr aufmerksame Bedienung. Leckerer Cappuccino mit einem kleinen Espresso. Für jeden Geschmack etwas. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Very nice breakfast offering. Prices were completely fine. The service could have been a little friendlier, the occasional smile makes the guest feel better and more comfortable, even if it is stressful. Otherwise nicely and comfortably furnished. Definitely coming back.

We had reserved a week in advance with email confirmation that we had the table from 9:30-11:30 (i.e. 2 hours). When we got there we were told straight away that we should clear the table after an hour. So we only had an hour. The breakfast itself was very nicely prepared. The variety and taste was great. However, we found the time too short as we had already waited half an hour until breakfast and drinks were served. Wouldn't have been a problem if we had had two hours.

Wir sind immer wieder gern in der Rösterei Fuchs. Wir wurden auch dieses Mal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Man spürt die Freude an der Arbeit. Lieben Dank dafür. Auf das schöne Frühstück mussten wir nicht lange warten. Als langjähriger Gast vermisse ich ein wenig den kleinen herzhaften Salat zum Guten- Morgen- Frühstück.

Delicious breakfast with really good coffee. The scrambled eggs with tomatoes and feta are super tasty, I found it to be too much and couldn't manage it, which was a shame, but it was probably doable for other guests. 😊 Service is very friendly, although there are few to no questions when the drinks are empty. Otherwise we were very satisfied and will come back. Reservation recommended, it can be done online, simple and uncomplicated.

Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt bei tollem Wetter, leckerem Frühstück und freundlichem Service. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

The breakfast is simply no longer recommended, nothing really fresh. Everything was pre-cut hours ago, cucumber, tomatoes dry, cheese curling to the top, salami was completely missing, mortadella brown on the edge. No value for money. Waited half an hour for the bill. No high quality products.

There is always something very special about the ambience, dining amidst the smells of freshly ground coffee beans. Unfortunately, it seemed to us as if the breakfast menu had been significantly reduced and the selection was therefore quite clear. Breakfast including Prosecco was no longer on offer either. Nevertheless, the food, the secco and of course the coffee tasted very good. The number of waitresses who were responsible for us was a bit irritating. So it wasn't entirely clear who should be given a donation.

We ate very tasty food. The portions were more than sufficient. Priced unexpectedly cheap. For dessert we had the best espresso! The only (small) downer: Unfortunately, the chairs are a bit uncomfortable. Overall, the Fuchs roastery is highly recommended.

Reservation recommended, nice service, starter (baked goat cheese with pear cuttney and toasted bread was delicious. The second starter, bread with date and avocado dip, was also very good. Unfortunately, the main course I ordered did not meet my expectations. My meat was dry and tough (I know the chicken is dry, but such an over-fried piece was in the pan for too long). The Mediterranean grilled vegetables (only green and yellow peppers, onions) were full of oil and the rosemary potatoes only tasted bad Oil, no trace of rosemary. The sour cream was okay. The burger my friend ordered was good.

We didn't expect that. Beetroot/apples/stulle was terrific! According to my husband, the mountain cheese burger was the best burger he has had in a long time. The service was very attentive. When we are back in Schwerin, we will come back ☺️

I had a voucher lying around for a long time and managed to redeem it yesterday. I wouldn't have necessarily gone to the Fuchs Rösterei before, simply because it sounded more like a café and I simply wouldn't have expected dinner like that. The menu is clear and yet varied. This is also often a sign of high-quality food. I chose the marinated chicken and my husband chose the Buddah Bowl. I'm extremely meticulous and always leave something in the restaurant that I think might either have been processed improperly or the taste of it doesn't match the rest of the food. I ate completely and so did my husband. The food was really tasty and attractively prepared. We were served very quickly and extremely politely and paid full and satisfied after just under an hour. I give a clear recommendation for the Fuchs roastery and look forward to my next visit there, probably during my lunch break.

Fuchs is THE address when it comes to a gastronomic excursion. Obviously, coffee lovers will get their money's worth here, but there is also a large selection of tea and delicious cocoa. In addition to the drinks, the food is particularly recommended. The fairly clear menu only offers highlights and because it is limited to relatively few dishes, they are great. Quality >> Quantity. We always like to come and, above all, again and again.

First of all, I actually wanted to give it 3 stars but I decided on 4 because I felt like my expectations were too high. The price of the café itself has increased and I rated it accordingly. We were there relatively spontaneously for breakfast and made a very strange reservation via the automatic answering machine. This worked relatively well, but next time I'll probably just go online again - it's just as impersonal. We were greeted warmly and given a nice table. We ordered breakfast for two plus scrambled eggs. And then the problems began. As an experiment, I asked for matcha even though it wasn't on the menu. I was told that it wasn't a problem. They got "Matcha Chai Latte" and I got a normal chai latte. The breakfast itself was good but nothing special for the price. Personally, I wish there had been egg Benedikt or corque Madame or something similar on the menu. When it comes to drinks, I would have expected that in a roastery that sells its own different beans you would also have a choice of beans when ordering coffee, but this wasn't the case and so I got a cappuccino in addition to the chai latte I didn't order was too strong for me personally. The music reminded me of a Berlin scene bar and was too loud for my taste at breakfast time. All in all, a nice little shop and I also like drinking chai lattes. ;) But it doesn't really do justice to the price asked, neither in food nor in drinks. It seems to me like an attempt to make something hippie and modern for an upscale audience but doesn't take the necessary final step.

! Caution Boiling Milk ! This is what should've been written on the latte art... I've waited almost 10 minutes after I got the "power cappuccino" (Flat White) until it was drinkable (just talking about the temperature). Coffee was burnt and tasted like I forgot to take my bialetti from the stove. Fruit flies constantly flying over the cake (which seemed to be frozen before) made the 10+ € experience (coffee 3/10 + cake 5/10) to a not recommended place for taking a break... but hey I only paid 0,80€ extra for oatmilk! As we would say in Germany: Wucher! #nothingforCoffeeNerds

We waited in vain for service. The waiter who cleared the table when we sat down accepted our request for a menu, but was then no longer seen with us and took care of other things. Ultimately we left without breakfast.

If you’re looking for a really well made cup of coffee, look no further. Full flavoured coffee that comes in many different variations such as Cappuccino on steroids and the espresso-chocolate mix. Nice interior and some tasty chocolates to select from. Great outdoor area on the outskirts of the marketplace. Perfect place to reat those weary feet.

We visited yesterday and the roster room was quite full. Our waiter seemed a bit cold and you didn't feel comfortable. Special requests for the starter were not possible. Unfortunately, my pasta in Gorgonzola sauce was cold on the edges.

Vi ledte efter sted hvor vi kunne få noget mad uden laktose og gluten. Fandt dette sted pnline og vi har ikke fortrudt det. Der er virkelig hyggeligt i dette kaffe-risteri/cafe og deres personale er utrolig flinke og imødekommende. Vi fik en virkelig dejlig frokost her med god hjælp og rådgivning omkring allergener fra personalet. De laver også en fantastisk kop kaffe her. Dette sted kan godt anbefales til folk med enten laktose eller gluten allergier.

We often go to the Fuchs roastery. Breakfast and coffee are great!!!, as is food for lunch/evening (pulled pork burger! tarte flambée!). One of our favorite restaurants in Schwerin. Today we were there with friends for 3 hours, even though we had only reserved for 1.5 hours and only ordered drinks. Thank you very much for that!! Service was sometimes noticeably understaffed, therefore less friendly or slower (understandable) and the quality of the food occasionally fluctuated when it got towards the evening or there was a lot going on. The biggest point of criticism, however, is that it is often fully booked and you can't get a table. The room could be bigger. Overall, always one of the best recommendations in Schwerin (I say as a Schweriner).

Der Empfang durch die Mitarbeitenden war sehr freundlich und professionell. Während des ganzen Abends waren die Mitarbeitenden und die Chefin sehr aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Speisekarte ist klein und übersichtlich aber trotzdem war für jeden etwas dabei. Alle Speisen, von den Vorspeisen bis hin zu den Hauptgerichten waren schmackhaft und von den Portionen groß genug um satt zu werden. Es war ein schöner Abend den wir bestimmt beim nächsten Besuch in Schwerin wiederholen werden.
