The May restaurant in Mannheim offers an all-around pleasant experience, from the stylish atmosphere to the friendly service and the high quality of the food. I chose the pasta with shrimp and was very satisfied: the pasta was al dente, the shrimp fresh and flavorful, with balanced seasoning and an attractive presentation. You can tell that they use fresh ingredients and pay great attention to detail. A particularly positive point is that all dishes are halal, an important feature that makes the restaurant particularly attractive to many guests. Payment is also straightforward, as card payments are accepted. The staff is attentive, helpful, and creates a relaxed atmosphere without being intrusive. The prices are fair and well-balanced for the quality offered. Overall, the May is a clear recommendation in Mannheim, whether for a relaxed lunch, a stylish dinner, or a meeting with friends. I would be happy to come back!

Unfortunately, I'm a bit disappointed with our visit to Soul Ceno. The pinsa was unfortunately a bit dry and not what I'm used to at other restaurants. As for the drinks, the first drink (which, mind you, was on the menu) was no longer available. The second cocktail couldn't be made because there were only two cups of cream, and they were apparently expired. It's better to keep your drinks menu small and always have everything available. The restaurant itself is nicely done, though.

I paid €11.90 for my Pide and a cola, which is honestly a great deal-especially considering I left full. Portion size is definitely solid, and the price-performance ratio leans more towards the wallet-friendly side. That said, the quality of the food was just okay. Nothing bad, but also nothing that stood out either. Service was a bit inattentive even though we were the only guests at first. They mixed up who ordered which pide, and my friend got a regular Coke instead of the Coke Zero he ordered. It's a decent spot if you're hungry and want something filling without spending much. Just don't expect anything particularly polished.

Delicious food, also vegan, and allergens were taken into account :)

To be honest, I was hoping for more given all the great reviews. It's relatively small. I was alone inside, and even so, service took a long time at lunchtime. Overall, 3.5 stars, but not enough for 4 stars.
