Bodhi Mannheim-Jungbusch in Mannheim

I was here with two friends, and we all had a shavarma wrap for €9, which unfortunately wasn't very good. All the other dishes may be great, but we can only comment on the wrap. None of us have high standards, but this wrap was just filled with lettuce and curry ketchup, which I find really cheeky for €9. We would never order a shavarma wrap there again, sorry. :(

The best falafel shop in the area. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The falafel and mixed platter are highly recommended.

I ordered a good amount of take out on Uber Eats and none of the items I ordered said they would contain pomegranate seeds/juice. I haven’t eaten from here in a few months and was surprised to find them in my food; I am allergic to pomegranate and am disappointed to not be able to eat what I ordered. I don't understand all the good reviews. I didn't like the food. I also thought it was way too expensive for what you got. The tables are wobbly, and there are utensils lying around everywhere in the restroom.

Literally the best Falafel and fries in all of Mannheim. If I could I would eat there everyday. Service is so friendly and the atmosphere aways makes me feel very welcome + the music is always soo good.

Best Falafel Restaurant in Germany

It was my first time there since moving. The wait was endless, the music was way too loud, and I'm sure it annoyed the neighbors. The food was tasty but too expensive (€9 for a small falafel). I got something more expensive than I actually ordered without asking the waiter. Too bad, I won't be back for a while. Go to Nabati, it's better.

The food was good, but the music was still very loud after asking twice, the menu was not very suitable for children, only coke but no fanta, and there was also no coffee or espresso for after dinner. For that we had to go to the counter ourselves because no one came by. There was also no toilet paper.

Jungbusch at its best. A very cool Arabic restaurant with incredibly delicious food. We had a mixed platter, so a little bit of everything. Highly recommended! There was also a DJ playing in the evenings, which was really great.

The best falafel and wraps I've ever eaten! Fast and attentive service paired with great music, awesome. Wine spritzer and Aperol are unbeatably cheap. The bread with the paprika spread is also highly recommended. A great, clean restaurant, second to none.

Clean place with a stylish interior and quick service. The food is halal, but taste-wise, it was pretty mediocre,nothing special and overpriced too. What really put me off was the super loud music and bar-like vibe which made it very hard to enjoy a quiet meal.

The falafel quality has clearly declined compared to the old restaurant around the corner. The wrap bread was dry and not pressed together properly. The staff is friendly, but seems a bit overwhelmed even when the place is half full. And most importantly, it would be fairer to the customers to change the name of the place somehow, because I thought it was still a snack bar when I went there a year later. Otherwise, it's a good café to sit down and drink/eat/chat, especially when it's warm outside.

Previously the best falafel shop, now poor and unfriendly service (the food and drinks are slammed on your table). After waiting for over an hour you get the wrong food... unfortunately this has been the case on several visits

Unfortunately, the order didn't work out, after 30 minutes we complained because the drinks didn't come, and after 60 minutes we still didn't have any food. It wasn't just us, other tables also put down their food and left because it took too long. Then many other guests got their food before us, after complaining they said they couldn't do that much - it would still be needed. The other tables arrived 30 minutes 45 minutes later. We had hoped that our food would go quicker after complaining, but there was probably nothing we could do. Really strange shop. Then they left too.

The food was delicious, would be back again! The two of us had something to eat for lunch. Home without a wish, top that's how gastro is fun!

Nice restaurant with outdoor seating. Very nice and friendly staff, almost everything is vegan. Tasty in taste, nicely presented visually, but unfortunately there is a bit of a lack in terms of price-performance. The plate of hummus is spread very thinly, it looks great, but it's not much hummus. The wrap is very thin and there is hardly anything in it, so I would definitely have liked a lot more filling and expected it for the price. So when I order a fallaffle platter with hummus as a starter and then 2 shawarma wrap plates for 2 people, I'm supposed to be full afterwards, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. There was also tea on the house, but I also know that in most places.

Great location if you want to try something new at a really great price-performance ratio. All of the dishes are meat-free, which you don't notice when you're eating because of the variety and taste... even though I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but it was so casual that I didn't even think about it. We reserved a table for 3 at Bodhi by phone: easy and super friendly, with good tips on parking nearby. The atmosphere is friendly, bright and very colorful You immediately feel very comfortable, a bit like you're on vacation. Although there were still many tables to choose from at 12 p.m., it quickly became full, already well attended with numerous walk-in customers. The service is very friendly and the food is excellent: we had Shawama once classic, once with chilli (be careful!) and once with strings We can recommend everything: very tasty. I can especially recommend the lentil soup based on Mom's recipe.

The food was very tasty. We had the ShaVarma Wrap Plate. The fries were a 10/10. Price/performance is very good. The service was very nice and we got a small dessert on the house. The music was a bit too loud for us personally and we couldn't have a good conversation. But apart from that everything was great.

Bodhi used to be very tasty. Has completely subsided. Expensive and bad food. Only the falafel was okay. We had a falafel and appetizer plate. The Thoom cream and paprika cream were really bad.

I've been a guest at this brilliant restaurant for years. NO BUT NO Libyan/Syrian/Arabian restaurant has ever seen this price-performance ratio... by the way, in terms of taste, it's the BEST in a 50km radius!! They always think about how they can refine the recipes... and apparently eat it themselves. Simply bomb. And I now drive 30km almost every week to do it 😂😂 also very humanely. Once they gave me food anyway because I was missing a euro. But gladly even. No ifs or buts. All with love. Gladly again every time!!
