The food is absolutely delicious and the service is very friendly. However, there's a bit of a draft around the windows.

I don't usually like falafel, but they were absolutely delicious here. The shawarma wrap was also a real hit. The portions were very generous. The service was quick and friendly. When ordering drinks, make sure everything is vegan (for example, the Aperol Spritz doesn't contain sparkling wine because it's not vegan). I would highly recommend it and I'm already looking forward to eating there again.

We were looking for a vegan restaurant in Mannheim and came across Bodhi. We received a friendly and welcoming welcome, and the table outside was immediately cleaned after we received our menus. To drink, we ordered a soda (orange, mango, and orange). Afterward, we had various main courses: 1. A mixed plate filled with pita bread 2. A wrap filled with seitan, vegetables, and fries 3. A wrap plate, also a wrap filled with seitan and a side of fries 4. Green Power, a wrap filled with falafel, cilantro, and parsley. The owner is especially friendly. Everything was truly delicious. We will definitely come back.

I've eaten here several times before, and this time I ordered food for a celebration. And I have to say: fantastic catering! The food was incredibly delicious, plentiful, and lovingly prepared. Our guests were thrilled – thank you for the excellent service and friendly hospitality!

I ordered a kebab that consisted of 2% meat and 97% pickles.

Unfortunately, the portions aren't as big as they used to be, and we weren't getting full. Prices have increased and portions have decreased. The quality of the food is still great, but for €14 for a mixed plate, you should be able to get enough. We won't be coming back.

The Classic Wrap is now at €9. This is rip-off. If it's too cold to sit outside, you'll be bombarded with techno music that's way too loud. A quiet meal with conversation is then impossible. This is clearly over the top due to the location. You don't have to walk far to get the same thing better, cheaper, and quieter.

The ambiance in Jungbusch/Mannheim is very special in itself, and "Bohdi" contributes a small part to that. The food is colorful and varied. The plates are small works of art, and the aroma is fantastic. But the best part is that it tastes incredibly good, too. The food is freshly prepared, and the exotic/oriental spices create a true explosion of flavor in your mouth. The service is unconventional and friendly. As we left, we were shown the open kitchen by the mother, who cooks and prepares everything herself. A thoroughly successful girls' night out. The price/performance ratio is also excellent...we'll definitely be back.

Very tasty, cozy in a colorful ambience.

The mixed platter is a culinary dream (I haven't had anything else, why would I?) And I'm not a vegetarian. The ambiance is simple; it's best to sit outside, but it's a "fast food joint" after all—although it's much more culinary than that. Sometimes it's packed and you can't find a seat. Then it helps to stroll around the block and hopefully come back with better luck.

The food is really beautifully presented, but I find the price for the shawarma plate disproportionate compared to the mixed plate. So if you go, get the mixed plate. Unfortunately, the sauces have very little flavor—not even the garlic sauce tastes of garlic. The toast has such a small filling that you can barely taste it and just chew on hard dough. The atmosphere is nice, but I wouldn't go back.

So really the food for the price with the service strong

The terrace offers a pleasant atmosphere, as the street is quiet—especially at lunchtime when the sun is shining and the view is beautiful. The service was friendly and attentive, the food was served promptly and of excellent quality. I only found the portion size a bit too small for the price.

Last night, I ate there with two colleagues – and we were absolutely thrilled! The food was hot, incredibly delicious, and beautifully presented. You can tell the love and care goes into the cooking here. The atmosphere was truly pleasant; we felt completely at home the entire time and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We'd definitely be back!

We were there today and can 100% recommend it. It was incredibly delicious and the service couldn't have been better.

It truly pains me to give this beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious food only 3/5 stars, but I have to remain objective and constructive and point out the obvious shortcomings. When we sat down there on a pleasant summer evening, we were ignored for 25 minutes. Not a single "Hello" or "Please be patient, we'll be with you in a minute." After our order was taken, the waitress came back 10 minutes later and took our order again because it had simply been forgotten. I didn't hear an explicit apology after 40 minutes of starving. That is simply unacceptable. When the food finally arrived, it was delicious, although I would have hoped for a bit more from the shawarma plate. Please don't get me wrong: I naturally understand that the service is very busy on popular, sunny days, but it wasn't that busy. With a functioning system, two servers could have mastered the challenge. That was reasonable. There's definitely room for improvement. The ayran was excellent, by the way. Considering the overall circumstances, I can unfortunately only give it 3 out of 5 stars. I'll give the store another chance and hope the service disaster was just an isolated incident. So the food is okay. Not really exceptional, but tasty. What unfortunately made it a bit difficult for me to enjoy it was the atmosphere. It's definitely more of a bar than a restaurant. The music is very loud, so you can't really have a conversation inside. But it's Jungbusch, after all.

I was here with two friends, and we all had a shavarma wrap for €9, which unfortunately wasn't very good. All the other dishes may be great, but we can only comment on the wrap. None of us have high standards, but this wrap was just filled with lettuce and curry ketchup, which I find really cheeky for €9. We would never order a shavarma wrap there again, sorry. :(

I don't understand all the good reviews. I didn't like the food. I also thought it was far too expensive for what you got. The tables wobbled and there were toiletries lying around everywhere.

Best Falafel Restaurant in Germany

It was my first time there since moving. The wait was endless, the music was way too loud, and I'm sure it annoyed the neighbors. The food was tasty but too expensive (€9 for a small falafel). I got something more expensive than I actually ordered without asking the waiter. Too bad, I won't be back for a while. Go to Nabati, it's better.

We were soooo pleased. The catering was fantastic. Hassan and his mom rocked our cherry tree party at Pentecost. All of our guests were delighted. It was beautifully decorated and delicious. Thank you so much❣️

We ordered a buffet from Bodhi for our party and were not disappointed: The food was excellent and beautifully presented; we and our guests were thrilled! A definite recommendation and thank you very much!

The food was good, but the music was still very loud after asking twice, the menu was not very suitable for children, only coke but no fanta, and there was also no coffee or espresso for after dinner. For that we had to go to the counter ourselves because no one came by. There was also no toilet paper.

Jungbusch at its best. A very cool Arabic restaurant with incredibly delicious food. We had a mixed platter, so a little bit of everything. Highly recommended! There was also a DJ playing in the evenings, which was really great.

Clean place with a stylish interior and quick service. The food is halal, but taste-wise, it was pretty mediocre,nothing special and overpriced too. What really put me off was the super loud music and bar-like vibe which made it very hard to enjoy a quiet meal.

The falafel quality has clearly declined compared to the old restaurant around the corner. The wrap bread was dry and not pressed together properly. The staff is friendly, but seems a bit overwhelmed even when the place is half full. And most importantly, it would be fairer to the customers to change the name of the place somehow, because I thought it was still a snack bar when I went there a year later. Otherwise, it's a good café to sit down and drink/eat/chat, especially when it's warm outside.

Previously the best falafel shop, now poor and unfriendly service (the food and drinks are slammed on your table). After waiting for over an hour you get the wrong food... unfortunately this has been the case on several visits

Unfortunately, the order didn't work out, after 30 minutes we complained because the drinks didn't come, and after 60 minutes we still didn't have any food. It wasn't just us, other tables also put down their food and left because it took too long. Then many other guests got their food before us, after complaining they said they couldn't do that much - it would still be needed. The other tables arrived 30 minutes 45 minutes later. We had hoped that our food would go quicker after complaining, but there was probably nothing we could do. Really strange shop. Then they left too.

Tasty in taste, nicely presented visually, but unfortunately there is a bit of a lack in terms of price-performance. The plate of hummus is spread very thinly, it looks great, but it's not much hummus. The wrap is very thin and there is hardly anything in it, so I would definitely have liked a lot more filling and expected it for the price. So when I order a fallaffle platter with hummus as a starter and then 2 shawarma wrap plates for 2 people, I'm supposed to be full afterwards, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. There was also tea on the house, but I also know that in most places.

Great location if you want to try something new at a really great price-performance ratio. All of the dishes are meat-free, which you don't notice when you're eating because of the variety and taste... even though I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but it was so casual that I didn't even think about it. I can only recommend a completely new taste 🙏🏻
