The falafel was delicious. We were there in the evening, and the adjoining room was very uncomfortably cold, both in terms of temperature and lighting. The food was prepared quickly, but some of the flavors were a bit disappointing.

No wonder this place has a 5-star rating. It's amazing! It's a must-visit when I'm in Mannheim. I rated the service that way because it's self-service. You have to pick up your plate from the head chef. It's not a big deal, I hope Nabati doesn't mind. I have to say, there's something authentic about it, too. Thank you.

I've been curious about this restaurant for a long time because it's always full whenever I pass by. And when I finally tried it, the falafel was just okay. Not exactly delicious, but not bad either. Like other comments mentioned, the wait was a bit long, but it was still acceptable. Maybe it depends on what you order. What disappointed me was that I didn't like the hummus. The hummus really wasn't to my taste. The prices are in the cheap range. The restaurant itself is nice, clean, and decorated in a minimalist style. There are also lots of seating options. I really appreciate that because in Mannheim, a lot of restaurants look unhygienic and have the nerve to charge high prices. In this restaurant, there's no toilet for customers. However, you can use the staff toilet in the kitchen area. When I entered, I was immediately greeted with 'Hallo, bitte schön!' That was a very good starter and it felt friendly and welcoming.

You can sit comfortably in a löv (snack bar), on the sidewalk, or in the backyard. My son wanted fries, which we had to wait 30 minutes for, only to get them cold! The falafel wraps were delicious, but the Nabati plate unfortunately didn't impress us.

I can wholeheartedly recommend both the wraps and the Nabati plate, especially at such reasonable prices. As is usual with vegan/vegetarian food, you shouldn't come in particularly hungry, or order two portions at once. For big eaters, the main courses are mere bites at best.

A very nice restaurant. If you love falafel, you'll be in good hands here. The prices are very reasonable compared to the competition. I highly recommend the sampler plate, where you can get a variety of dishes for under €10. The food is prepared quickly (about 10 minutes).

Incredibly delicious, fresh, with oriental spices, the best paprika cream in the bread, and fantastic grilled vegetables. I was there on August 26, 2025, and sat in the courtyard. Great atmosphere, top-notch food! The best of the two restaurants with falafel plates!

Nabati is a great place to get a delicious yet affordable meal with super friendly service! After asking for extra falafel, they added two without hesitation and at no extra charge. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy a good meal in Mannheim!

The Nabati plate is incredibly delicious, with a beautifully balanced and harmonious flavor, without any extremes. I highly recommend it, as well as the delicious baklava. Otherwise, it's very nice, self-service, and most of it is even vegan.

The food is OK, but our fries weren't cooked through. However, we notice almost every time we visit that they "accidentally" make a mistake at the checkout. Five pieces of falafel become one plate of falafel—better to double-check! And you're allowed to say hello when customers come by and say hello.

The wait time was far too long – and there was hardly any business. I had to wait almost 40 minutes for my food, even though there were hardly any other customers. That's really unacceptable. The organization and flow seemed completely disorganized. The taste was okay, but the wait ruined the experience. I probably won't be coming back.

I came because of the good reviews and wanted to try the place out. I ordered the Nabati plate – a mixed tasting platter. At €9.50, it's the most expensive dish on the menu, and the portion size was a bit disappointing; I wasn't filled. It tasted good! The advantage of a tasting platter is that there's always something you really like; for me, it was the eggplant. I deducted points because most of the food on the platter was cold; only the falafel and bread were warm. I hadn't realized that beforehand, and I found it a bit of a shame. It tasted good and interesting, definitely something special. However, overall, I can't give it more than 4 stars. The service is okay, a bit chaotic, and my order was initially forgotten, but the staff member is very nice. There are no public restrooms for guests, but there are plenty of seating areas, even in the courtyard under the sun. For vegans, this is certainly a great dining option. I don't know yet whether I'll come back, but I don't think so for now.

I was absolutely thrilled with this vegan restaurant! The atmosphere was cozy and modern, and the staff incredibly friendly and attentive. I'd especially like to single out Aboudi – he was very respectful, welcoming, and served us with a smile. The menu was diverse and creative – each dish was a work of art. I especially recommend the vegan burger with homemade sauce – simply divine! The desserts were also a dream. It's wonderful to see how delicious and varied plant-based cuisine can be. I'll definitely be back!

Located in the middle of Mannheimer Quadraten, the restaurant impresses with fantastically fresh and lovingly prepared food. The price-performance ratio is great! A small downer: It is a bit noisy and one point is deducted for the fact that the toilet can only be reached through the kitchen. Overall, a clear recommendation!

There was a bit more going on that day and the staff seemed stressed, but you still don't have to be so taciturn when ordering, which made a strange impression.

We were there a year ago and absolutely loved it, so we came back, but this time we were rather disappointed. We remembered the falafel being much spicier and not as dry, and even though there was no one there besides us, the staff seemed stressed and rather dismissive. The tables were dirty and the cart was full of dirty dishes; the atmosphere was more like "we'd rather no one were here," but maybe it was stressful beforehand and had just quieted down again. Everything else on the Nabati plate was very tasty, but the main ingredient, falafel, wasn't as impressive this time as before. We won't drive into town from out of town for that again.
