We were positively surprised by this restaurant and the food. The arepas with egg and the empanadas taste great! The ceviche was more like a chickpea salad, it didn't taste bad, but it was far from real ceviche. Perhaps an exception to the predominantly vegan menu would be the inclusion of fish. Overall, it was amazing how authentic all the dishes tasted, including vegan ones. My Colombian companion was impressed by the arepas, the aji salsa, the empanadas and the beer selection. The service was friendly and competent. We would certainly come back!

The food was incredibly delicious. Everything is freshly prepared and very nicely presented. The atmosphere, especially in the back where there is a small terrace, is very cozy. The owners were both friendly and always looked after each guest attentively. Wasn't my last visit here! We had the corn on the cob, both an Arepita Rellena Shawarma (absolute recommendation - the pink tahine and the shawarma made from this tofu skin were great but the corn flatbreads in particular were really fluffy), the Aguachile Ceviche and two of the homemade drinks.

The dishes are based on Colombian food and have been reinvented. Everything made from regional products. Except once a month, there is only vegetarian cuisine. Little to do with the original food. The taste was average, but the Aji sauce was unfortunately much too mild. There are no prices listed on the menu. Unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations.

I (Colombian) went with my non-Colombian boyfriend to enjoy a typical Colombian meal. What a beautiful surprise when I found out that it was a “Fusion Restaurant”, with even some veggie and vegan versions!, and to know a little of the history behind some of the dishes. We ordered the Discovery Menu, just enough for two, with different flavours to enjoy, but our favourites were the Humo Primavera and the Arepa My Boyfriend tried the Horchata, good. And I ordered the Guava Margarita. It was good, but for some reason they didn’t have more Guava and my second Margarita was with Uchuva (The best!) if you have the opportunity to try it, do not miss it!

Spectacular service, my girlfriend is German and knows a little about Colombian food from what I have been able to teach her, but she was delighted with the arepas, the empanadas and all the different dishes that we were able to eat during our visit to this restaurant and I was happy with the attention and being able to try, after a long time, some food from my land, thank you very much.

There is always a wonderful atmosphere with Sarah and Sebastian. Their changing menu, mostly beautifully presented fusion surprises, is seasonal, fresh and delicious. And everyone who comes along would love to try everything. Because just reading the map makes you curious. Anyone who has ever been to Colombia can particularly look forward to the empanadas and aji. Of course everything was homemade.

Delicious and creative vegetarian Colombian food, with many gluten free options on the menu. Each dish was explained to us in detail when served. Very attentive and friendly staff. You can really tell that they take pride in the food that they’re serving. Definitely recommend!

Hidden very welcoming place as if you were in the owner‘s private living room. They take care to make you comfy when gluten-free challenges or even corn-free challenges need to be answered within their little fine menu of tapas. My heart was happy to find a kind spot with gluten-free delicious Colombian flavors after a long day of work. Maybe reservation should be done for bigger groups, only few tables inside.

Cozy little restaurant with super nice owners. Although not necessarily on the cheapest side, you get very lovingly prepared, creative dishes made from high-quality regional ingredients, and everything is homemade. Definitely coming back for the next season ticket!

I should actually talk about the food first, but the two souls of the house must be mentioned here. It's not easy to serve here. It feels like you are part of the kitchen and cooking. Now about the food: 1. You can't get it anywhere in Cologne. 2. delicious and always something new and 3. simply good for vegetarians and vegans. (It's not me at all, but I'm learning how good meatless tastes here) After many lovely visits, it's now time to leave a review here.

It's rarely delicious to be able to eat vegan/vegetarian or sustainably. Here you can enjoy without a guilty conscience and it tastes delicious. Delicious. Super nice team. I wish there were more restaurants like this.

Leider mussten wir im kalten verregneten Tag warten, bis um 18 Uhr aufgeschlossen wurde. Aber es war ja auch unser Verschulden, waren 30 Minuten zu früh dort. Aber als wir drinnen waren, gemütlich und sehr leckeres vegetarisches Essen. 1 x im Monat gibt es Fleisch. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir wieder unsere Freunde in Köln besuchen.

Ich hatte hier einen sehr schönen Abend mit einer Freundin die ich ewig nicht gesehen habe. Jede von uns hatte drei Tapas bestellt. Diese waren sehr, sehr lecker, schön angerichtet und haben trotz der kleineren Portionen satt gemacht. Der Rosé war total gut. Die Menschen die dort gearbeitet haben, waren sehr freundlich. Und obwohl wir den ganzen Abend den Tisch "blockiert" haben, fühlten wir uns sehr willkommen. Der Laden ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir waren letzte Woche zum ersten Mal im Rosa & Paula und waren begeistert. Alle Tapas werden mit Liebe zubereitet und sehr schön serviert (z.B. Empanadas in einem kleinen bunten Körbchen). Geschmacklich alles toll, man wird hier auch als Nicht-Veganer fündig und wird auf jeden Fall auch satt. Wir hatten das Discovery-Menü für 2 Personen, so konnten wir alles probieren, sehr zu empfehlen. Die Betreiber sind unglaublich herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wer gerne mal etwas anderes probieren möchte, der ist hier genau richtig! Ein junges Team das mit viel Liebe und Hingabe dieses Restaurant betreibt.

Hace días que quería alguito de la tierrita y pues me encontré con los domingos de Tamales, y la verdad me hicieron llorar de la felicidad, ya que el sabor es criollito, a tierrita, a casa. Las bebidas, espectaulares, una aguapanela fría refrescante para este verano. Por supuesto tienen café de la tierrita, delicioso. Hay cervecita patria, mejor dicho, para uno sentirse en casa. Y la atención es excelente, preocupados por la comodidad del cliente. La carta ofrece muchas opciones para iniciar a degustar, y pronto tendrán nuevas opciones para degustar, estoy ansioso por ir a probarlas. Ich weiß, ich weiß - vegetarisches und veganes Essen mag nicht jede Person. Doch selbst wenn du sagst "Fleisch ist, mein Gemüse" oder "Ich brauche aber etwas fleischiges", mach dir keine Sorgen. Du wirst es lieben. :) Denn zum einen ist das Essen bei Rosa & Paula unglaublich lecker, auch mal deftig, mal würzig, mal scharf und mal sehr nah an fleischigen Alternativen zum anderen werden die Betreiber dich umhauen. Selten lernt man so herzliche, nette und einfach gute Menschen kennen. Würden alle ihren Beruf mit solcher Leidenschaft, Überzeugung und Menschlichkeit machen, würden wir alle eine bessere Zeit haben. Selbst wenn du vegetarischem Essen skeptisch gegenüber stehst: Der Geschmack und die Betreiber werden dich umhauen. Punkt.

Very interesting culinary experience, mixing traditional Colombian food with innovative ingredients. The portions are very good and suitable to taste different dishes. We recommend the empanadas, arepa de huevo, a Club Colombia beer, a cup of Colombian coffee, of course, and you can finish with a dessert and an Aguardiente shot. Wie so oft inspiriert durch die Vorstellungen im Magazin des KÖLNER STADTANZEIGER (Floß | 01./02.07.23) Erstbesuch am 14.07.23 Fazit: Authentisches Ambiente | herzlich netter und fachkompetenter Service durch die Chefin, kolumbianische Küche ist für die meisten eher unbekannt und exotisch, deshalb war die Erklärung der einzelnen Gerichte (Tapas-ähnlich) sehr hilfreich. Super Konzept, leckerer Bio-Wein (Rosé) und spannende Gerichte die sehr sehr lecker waren. Sehr zu empfehlen, Frau Floß (KStA) und die beiden Restaurantbetreiber haben „alles richtig gemacht….“. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall - neugierig auf andere Gerichte der Speisenkarte - wieder, auch die Anreise aus Bergisch Gladbach hat sich „gelohnt“.

Ich war innerhalb des letzten Jahr nun das fünfte Mal dort und kann es sehr empfehlen. Dabei nehmen wir immer die gesamte Karte, die regelmässig wechselt und teilen uns das zu zweit. Vom Umfang kann man das gut mit Tapas vergleichen und ist immer großartig. Als Beilage nehme ich am liebsten die Maisfladen. In der aktuellen Frühjahrskarte sind die veganen Köfte im Maisfladen ein wahrer Hit! Was auch sehr schön ist, dass man merkt, dass das Team großen Spaß bei der Arbeit hat.

Essen war gut, aber für meinen Geschmack viel zu viel persönliche Politik für die geworben wird … und ich bin unpolitisch … mich nervt so was dann immer etwas

Sehr süßer, kleiner Laden. Die große Theke empfängt einen und der super nette Besitzer. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir haben quer durch die kleine Karte gegessen. Ich habe mich 100% wohl gefühlt und freue mich auf den Sommer auf der Terasse. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Ich hatte keine Vorstellung von Kolumbianischem Essen und wurde sehr positiv überrascht. Spannende vegane Gerichte und leckere Getränke - Cobarachía und Ronbaca haben mir besonders geschmeckt. Außerdem sind die beiden Inhaber:innen des Restaurants super freundlich und sympathisch. Ich kommen wieder!

Sehr leckeres Essen, toller Service der einem genau erzählt was man da leckeres auf den Tisch gestellt bekommt und wirklich einiges dabei, was ich so noch nirgendwo anders gesehen habe, zB die Kochbananen-Gnocci. Die hausgemachte Limo mit hippem Namen ist leider nix anderes als Leitungswasser mit braunem Zucker und einer Limettenscheibe. Der Laden ist ziemlich klein, man sitzt zu viert an winzigen Tischen und auf einfachen Holzhockern. Für ein gemütliches Abendessen zum Verweilen ist das nichts, aber für eine kurze Einkehr mit kreativem, leckeren Essen top!

Wir waren dort spontan und das Essen war sehr gut. Selbst als Nicht Veganer wurde ich satt. Denn die Küche ist rein vegan. Jedoch mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail. Geschmacklich alles top. Der nette junge Mann der uns bedient hatte war sehr nett und geduldig. Jedoch gibt es eine Sache die mich enorm gestört hat. "Zahlung nur mit Karte oder Paypal". Wer für die Abschaffung des Bargeldes ist ist für die Abschaffung der Freiheit das muss man mal ganz klar sagen. Wer sich unter die totale Kontrolle des Stattes begeben will der kann das gerne tun aber ohne mich. Und das Argument "das ist einfacher und unkomplizierter " überzeugt mich hier leider nicht. Es wäre auch einfacher und unkomplizierter alle Gerichte in der Mikrowelle aufzuwärmen statt sie frisch zuzubereiten. Gerne gehe ich dort wieder essen aber erst wenn Bargeld akzeptiert wird

Fast alles von der Frühjahrskarte bestellt, es hat hervorragend geschmeckt! Als die Gerichte Tisch ankamen wurden die Zutaten noch kurz vorgstellt, sehr lieber Service.

If you’re looking for the exact same food you find in Colombia and traditional dishes, this is not the place for you. But if you want to try a different take on Colombian food where everything taste like Colombia then this is your place. I love it, and keep coming back. I wish they had more dishes from my native Santander, like arepa de maíz pelao 😅 but overall it’s an amazing place!

Der Ort ist gemütlich und die Leute dort sind sehr freundlich. Ich muss sagen, dass ich bis zum Schluss gemerkt habe, dass das Essen vegetarisch war ... es war wirklich eine sehr leckere Überraschung. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Just know this place is vegan. Was on us for not reading in to the menu better. We are far from vegan but tried most of the menu and was good.

Man spürt das dort Leidenschaft und Qualität zum einen, als auch echter Kolumbianischer Geschmack zusammen kommen. Man wird sehr freundlich bedient und die Produkte sind qualitativ und möglichst nachhaltig. Für mich 1A und sehr sehr lecker.

What a total disappointment the food in this restaurant was!! We traveled with a group of Colombian/Venezuelan friends specially to this restaurant from The Netherlands purely based om the great reviews here and stunning looking food at the pictures on the website. Arrived there, the ordering started; a huge disappointment when found out that the menu was only available in German, the food was only vegan and the food on the lovely pictures of the website was not served. We asked the waitress about this and the answer was….’we just changed the menu’. The food was tasteless, boring and definitely not a representation from the Colombian kitchen as locals would expect. I do not recommend this place If you love typical Colombian food!

Das Essen wurde uns immer einzeln nochmal beim Servieren präsentiert. Am Ende haben wir noch einen Schnaps aufs Haus bekommen. Ich freu mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

Wow, what an unforgettable vegan experience! We were smiling with every bite of food! Our favorite dishes were the Al Caballo, Paisita, and Empanada Picadillo. Everything was delicious, filling and quickly served. Everyone working at the restaurant was friendly and made us feel so comfortable. I highly recommend making a reservation because it’s a smaller restaurant, and they get very busy.

Me and my girlfriend went for dinner there yesterday and the food was amazing!the whole menu is vegetarian or vegan (they told me they only do meat once a month). I am a meat eater and I didnt miss the meat for one second. We tried 4 dishes and they all tasted fresh, original and were very tasty and filling. Especially the stew! Thank you so much!

Wir waren am Tamales-Sonntag da und waren total begeistert. Das Essen schmeckt unfassbar lecker und wird frisch zubereitet. Der Laden ist gemütlich eingerichtet, ein bisschen mehr Imbiss als klassisches Restaurant, aber dennoch mit tollen Sitzmöglichkeiten drinnen und besonders draußen. "Rosa & Paula" wird von zwei ganz lieben Menschen geführt, die ihr ganzes Herzblut in den Laden gesteckt haben... und das merkt man auch :) Wir kommen ganz bestimmt ganz oft wieder. :)

Waren zu zweit und haben alle Tapas 1 mal bestellt :) Hatten die Möglichkeit super viel Neues zu probieren und unsere Favoriten waren Boronia, Sancochito Veranero und das Dessert. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat sich Zeit für uns genommen und das Essen lies auch nicht lange auf sich warten. Insgesamt kann ich jedem wärmstens empfehlen bei Rosa und Paula vorbei zu schauen und sich selbst zu überzeugen!
