But when people around me ask me what I miss most about Cologne, I always answer "Nobiko". I love the Nobiko 😍 The food is always great and the employees are great! You should always make a reservation. I've only spontaneously had luck there once so far.

Super nice little restaurant with delicious udon dishes. It's really a small shop, so you should make a reservation at least a day in advance even if you just want to eat something for two.

We were just passing through and came across this restaurant. Appears inconspicuous and hidden from the outside. Were warmly greeted and served. However, the food was "only" good - nothing special. The atmosphere seemed a bit "dingy", almost dirty and the special Asian drink was definitely too expensive. Overall, unfortunately just a mediocre experience.

Absolute must for noodle soups or udon fans. A small, very cozy shop with great dishes that leave nothing to be desired. The Golden TanTan are a 10/10 and delicious every time.

We have always enjoyed going to Nobiko for years. The food is always great, the prices are fair, the atmosphere is cozy and the entire staff is always very nice. We prefer to eat the teishoku dishes, as there are always changing offerings of tsukemono and side dishes. Absolute recommendation! As a couple, we can always find a place shortly after opening, even without a reservation, but it is advisable to reserve in advance, especially with a larger group.

We picked out the store specifically. It has to be said that we are holidaymakers from Hamburg and our hotel was nearby. Nice little shop. Just too inconspicuous. Nevertheless, we had to go again on the first evening and make a reservation for the following day, as the small restaurant is very busy, at least on Friday and Saturday. The portions could be a bit bigger. The homemade udon are very tasty and the “Keesekuchen” and the tiramisu tart at the end were also a poem. Maybe a little note about the ambience: The operators seem to be politically committed to a cosmopolitan and tolerant community.

What a great shop! The food was DELICIOUS, the people who work there were friendly and child-friendly, the guests were diverse and the atmosphere was cozy. I definitely want to go there again. However, I would reserve a table next time as the restaurant is quite small and obviously quite popular. We were lucky to get a table early in the evening on Sunday.

The three of us visited Nobiko for the first time and were surprised at how good the store was. The service was super friendly, the shop itself was a left-wing eye-catcher with lots of posters and the food was incredibly tasty. We'd love to come back. :)

VEGAN RAMEN! Yes, that doesn't sound combinable at first, but it's an absolute insider tip! The food is delicious, the different ramen are perfectly combined and there is a great selection of tea and seasonal drinks. A menu where everything is vegan is also an absolute dream. We always enjoy coming back and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Very nice little noodle bar in Cologne Kalk, where it's always worth eating. 5 stars are especially for the tastiest mushrooms I have ever eaten :D!

We were here spontaneously on a Saturday evening. Everything was actually reserved, but we were lucky to be able to sit at a table that was still available for an hour. So making a reservation is probably a good idea on a Saturday evening. The food was super tasty. Everything vegan. This made it quite difficult for me to even decide what I wanted. In the end I decided on Kimchi Udon and I thought it was really tasty. I was worried at first that it would be too spicy, but it was just the right amount of spiciness and you could certainly find it described as slightly spicy in other restaurants. The atmosphere was very hip and cozy. The staff was friendly. I can recommend it.

Were there for the first time and had two portions of udon in a delicious broth with pointed cabbage, mushrooms and vegan mince. Everything was perfectly coordinated and the homemade shiso lemonade also tasted great. Not so sweet, so the special taste of the shiso leaves came through well. The shop is very lovingly furnished, the menus alone were designed so beautifully and with great attention to detail and in every corner you can find pretty little things and extraordinary decorations. Attention also to all people who are not interested in Japanese or noodles, but rather like sweet food: The tiramisu cake was 11/10, I would come back for that in a heartbeat. The staff was also super friendly, we felt very comfortable and are happy to have discovered this great shop.

Very special, very tasty and a nice place to feel good...I would love to come back

It was our first time at Nobiko and we were really impressed. I immediately felt very comfortable when I entered the restaurant because it has a very personal and authentic charm. The illustrations on the walls with political messages, the small toys and figures everywhere and the very friendly and open-minded staff contributed to this. The food was super delicious, we opted for cold udon salads and (among other things) homemade lemonade, which was just right on a hot summer day. Of course everything was exclusively vegan and there was even a selection of cakes/cakes.

Super tasty food, really nice, attentive service, we sat comfortably outside and the prices are reasonable. The rating is completely fine. Recommended!

A very good vegetarian udon restaurant in Cologne. I have visited three times in total, and the overall menu is on the light side. But personally, I prefer heavy flavors. In the end, my favorite is the Ninniku Udon with garlic soy milk soup base. It is much richer than other items, but it is not greasy. In the summer, I can drink the whole bowl of Udon soup. It’s okay to drink them all. The vegetarian tempura was unexpectedly fried very well. Although I prefer tempura with a crispy crust, Nobiko's crust is overall soft, but not soggy, so I personally think it's good. The most eye-catching thing is that the fried outer skin locks the moisture of various ingredients inside, so you can taste the fresh and sweet juice when you bite into it. The restaurant is located in an alley, so it is very quiet. The overall atmosphere is very suitable for a date or with two or three friends. It is suitable for slowly tasting and chatting with friends. Then you can swipe your card.

The one star missing from the ambient atmosphere might simply be due to sheer exhaustion, but in every other way it was one of the best "eating out" experiences in a good long while. And I usually don't very much like going out to eat...

Extremely cosy place with super tasty food, and kind staff!! My fave dish is Ninniku Udon, which I order every time when I visit. But their Tempuras (veggies) are also so delicious⭐️

Update July 2024. As always, very tasty. All dishes are vegan. The nut wedges for dessert and the homemade herbal lemonade are excellent. I am a repeat offender at Nobiko. Everything is freshly prepared every day. Very, very tasty. Fresh and homemade. Relaxed atmosphere.

Ambiente 9/10 very cute Food: a little too expensive for the portion size, but there's limitless soy sauce. Milk in broth gave the whole thing some nice taste. My friends food was a little tasteless, the broth didn't taste like much. Would come here again if we were starving <3

Super tasty restaurant with very nice and courteous service. The udon noodles have a perfect consistency and a great texture thanks to the homemade preparation. The broth can absolutely compete with classic animal broths and offers an interesting variety. Overall, everything is a lot of fun to try and a great experience not just for vegans.

The only restaurant that makes its own udon in North Rhine-Westphalia. Endless umami despite being vegan. I recommend double portion of pasta as it is incredibly good.

Super nice, be sure to reserve in advance. Being from Düsseldorf, I'm really spoiled when it comes to Asian cuisine; but Nobiko is by far the best when it comes to vegan ramen.

The service is friendly and helpful and the atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant, although a bit alternative.

Best tempura in Cologne. We had Tempura Teishoku with perfectly balanced pickled vegetables and Kake Udon, a simple broth with noodles. The udon noodles are excellent, the broth lacked a little salt. But the problem was solved with a spoonful of soy sauce. For dessert there was a kind of tiramisu tart, very successful. The dishes are reasonably priced, you can see and taste the handwork and the many necessary work steps. The ambience is somewhere between a ramen bar and a local kitchen with lots of fun surprises like the Nobiko memory, and the service is pleasant, friendly and helpful.

Insider tip in Kalk! Great ambience, delicious food but everything is vegan and there is no alcohol. If that doesn't bother you and if you like something a little more alternative, you'll really like the Nobiko!

We had the pleasure of visiting the N0biko Nudelbar in Cologne and loved it! Despite the busy atmosphere, we managed to find a seat thanks to the friendly waiter, even though we hadn't made a reservation. The food was simply outstanding – from the noodle soup to the side dishes. The only downside was the high volume/acoustics, but apart from that, the noodle bar is a cozy place that we would happily recommend. A cute little noodle bar with big flavor!

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, die Nobiko Nudelbar in Köln zu besuchen und waren begeistert! Trotz der geschäftigen Atmosphäre fanden wir dank des freundlichen Kellners noch einen Platz, obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten. Das Essen war einfach hervorragend – von der Nudelsuppe bis zu den Beilagen. Einziger Wermutstropfen war die hohe Lautstärke / Akustik, aber abgesehen davon ist die Nudelbar ein gemütliches Plätzchen, das wir gerne weiterempfehlen. Eine süße, kleine Nudelbar mit großem Geschmack!

Little insider tip Nobiko has its own atmosphere. Everything seems a bit thrown together and that's exactly what makes it charming. I particularly liked the illustrations on the walls and the menu. The staff was really friendly and the food was really a dream. The broths in the dishes were super aromatic, something you rarely experience with vegan soups. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. I can also recommend Jurokucha, a tea with a very special taste. I'll definitely be back!

Plus point: business concept Service was okay, nice but a bit unprofessional. Unfortunately, I found the food a bit bland and, above all, not in keeping with the high price. Here it goes in the direction of what I would call “Ehrenfeld” prices. Unfortunately, it can't keep up with similar restaurants. It's a shame because I always prefer purely vegan restaurants.

Food very tasty, portions too small. A very small and delicious restaurant, unfortunately with very small portions that don't fill me (a man, 1.95m, fit), so the price/performance ratio doesn't suit me. Apart from that, very good and exceptional cuisine. Be careful, there are a lot of crowds, it's best to make a reservation.

Ich hatte dort ein sehr leckeres goldenes Udon und musste mich erst mal wieder an Essen mit Stäbchen gewöhnen (ich hätte auch nach Besteck fragen können). Zum Nachtisch gab es eine Nussecke 😋

very nice restaurant that was particularly notable for its friendly service. She gave us great advice and served us nicely. The ramen and other dishes were really tasty, although unfortunately I have no comparison as to whether the ramen was above average. we enjoyed them. The restaurant was well attended and not far from the Lanxess Arena. Thanks again to the nice lady who even hung up a painted picture of our daughter.

Our meal in Nobiko was a gastronomical symphony. It opened with a taste burst of their self fermented Kimchi, with a well balanced salt-vinegar-sugar-chili flavor. As a main dish we tried 2 of their wholemeal udon soups, the richer the tastier. For dessert we had a rapid turn to western style cakes and a perfect chocolate peanuts cookie.

Exceptional service from the moment we walked in (without reservation but would highly recommend booking as they had an endless stream of customers even at 3/4pm.) Very kid friendly with nice baby change, colouring pencils etc and friendly service. Very considerate service to suggest removing alcohol from soup base if I wanted. Lovely udon and good portion sizes. Must try the tiramisu too - best I've ever had. A hidden gem off the beaten track opposite a school. Very progressive posters and nice cosy decor. Highly recommended.

I had a Shiso-soda and spicy TanTan udon. I liked the drink. It was refreshing and not too sweet. The broth of the udon was tangy but not my favorite.

Love this place! Great little vegan Japanese restaurant in Kalk, Cologne. Everything is vegan and mostly udon noodle dishes! We had the miso udon bowl with a side of tempura and kimchi. So good! Would highly recommend. Do book ahead as this place is always busy!

Went here spontaneously and got a table. However, we only had an hour because the table was reserved. (It's cool that we got the opportunity despite having a reservation!) The food was with us in 10 minutes, so we were able to take it easy. Everything was delicious, including the dessert. Were asked several times if everything was okay. Very good service, overall a totally relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to next time!

A perfect hidden gem in an almost secret location. The food was really good and the portions were generous. There is a seasonal menu and specials but the speciality is definitely udon (the tempura was also good though). The service was friendly and welcoming. The place filled up really quickly - deserve reserve in advance!

Der kleine Laden ist super gemütlich und das Essen ist typisch und authentisch. Die Preise sind angemessen und nicht hoch. Es gibt allerdings kein klassisches japanisches Ramen, was in einigen Rezensionen zu lesen ist, sondern Udonnudeln, die u.a. In Brühe serviert werden, Tempura, etc.. Es ist sehr lecker.

My bf ordered the largest menu, its amount turned out even a bit smaller than my smallest menu… it’s totally not worth it. The food itself was well-prepared, and the powder for Udon is also pretty nice.
