Rodizio Lazador Brasil in Oldenburg undoubtedly offers a unique dining experience: meat cooked directly on the skewer, a lively atmosphere, and friendly waiters who create a great ambiance. Many guests praise the quality of the steaks and the Brazilian style of service – making a visit truly special. However, my impression wasn't entirely positive. The drinks took an unusually long time to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn't full. The meat was initially far too salty, which detracted from the enjoyment. The dessert selection seemed very limited compared to the generous portions of meat skewers, and the side dish buffet was rather lukewarm and therefore not very convincing. The bottom line: If you're looking for Brazilian rodizio and a convivial atmosphere, you'll certainly find it here. Personally, I think the service needs to be faster and the details of the side dishes and desserts need to be more carefully coordinated to make the overall experience truly complete.

I have nothing but praise: The steak was perfect and incredibly tasty. The meat was of excellent quality, the cocktails were all delicious – worth every penny. But what's truly amazing are the staff! They are incredibly competent and always in good spirits. The samba was fantastic fun, and I have nothing but praise for them. It's worth every penny!

The atmosphere in the restaurant is fantastic – lively yet cozy. One minor drawback: Taking drink orders was a bit chaotic; sometimes you had to ask twice.

The medium buffet with 5 skewers... It was absolutely delicious! So good you'll overeat if you're not careful ;) Towards the end, the drink service got a bit slow, but otherwise, I'd happily go back!

Service, food and ambience very good

The food is very tasty. As long as you don't stuff yourself at the side dish buffet, you can get a lot of value for money. The side dishes aren't really worth recommending anyway. The waiters go from table to table with various meat skewers, and you can choose as much as you like. The meat is also really good. The restaurant is quite loud and cramped, but that's only a minor annoyance. Overall, a solid place.

Great place, great service...the food is incredibly tasty. I know it's located in Germany, but trust me, lots of taste.

Well, I'm Brazilian. I saw the good reviews of the place and decided to visit for my birthday. The staff were super attentive, the rest... Unpleasant surprise: The buffet was entirely European or German. There was no vinaigrette or farofa, which is an absolute no-go in a rodizio! It's like going for a sandwich and missing the bread. One of the meats served was Kasseler, and it was super salty. Kasseler in a Brazilian restaurant, are you kidding me? The highlight: picanha!! I don't know how it was prepared or packaged; it tasted like liver. Desserts: Tiramisu, panna cotta. Italy, right? They missed the chance to make brigadeiro or pudding and showcase Brazilian sweets typical of a rodizio...cheap, easy to make, and the ingredients are available in any supermarket. I apologize to the guys who work there for this review, but I couldn't help but do it. To the Germans who visit the restaurant, you won't find anything that represents Brazilian cuisine.

Unfortunately, it's a disappointment. This isn't a Brazilian restaurant! It's more German and of poor quality.

We received a very friendly welcome. The food was excellent. We had a mixed grill and rump steak with a buffet. All in all, a wonderful evening. We can recommend it to everyone.

The food was very tasty and plentiful. There was a bit of everything. The price for the large rodizio, €33.50, is fair. Service was relatively slow, and you sometimes had to ask for permission several times. The lighting at the tables was very dim, in our opinion. The obligatory pineapple with cinnamon and sugar at the end was a must, of course. We would come again.

Great service and a pleasant atmosphere. Self-service salads, side dishes, and alternative dishes. A good selection of vegetarian dishes. The dessert buffet could be improved in terms of selection, appearance, and placement in the dining room. If you do want dessert, the tiramisu is highly recommended.

The place used to be a million times better. They still served proper rodizio with vegetables served at the table. It's all over now. I asked when the samba show was on Saturdays. They told me it started at 8 p.m.! I got there on time, and the samba show was already over... On a positive note, the staff was very friendly.

Great people, great food, great atmosphere. Simply full stars 🌟 Expect to pay €35-40 per person, but it's worth it. Parking is typically poor in Oldenburg, but the horse market is quite close, and I think there are six or ten restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

We were there for the first time yesterday, and we really enjoyed it! The service was very friendly and answered our questions quickly, and the food, drinks, and skewers were served quickly one after the other. The food was delicious, and it's great that the buffet offered a variety of options! There's an extra €12.90 for children. It would also be nice if there were little signs for the platters at the buffet describing what's on the outside plates!

Brazilian ambiance with very attentive waiters. You have the option of having a waiter walk around and cut meat from a skewer. I didn't find any desserts at the all-you-can-eat restaurant. It's a rather small place with lots of salads. But the taste is delicious.

We had a buffet here with friends and were pleasantly surprised. The buffet was sufficient, freshly prepared and something for everyone. You can choose in advance whether you want some of the meat skewers or not. The restaurant is very centrally located. There are also enough parking spaces available. Definitely worth a visit.

I had waited half an hour for a table. After a couple got up, I took the seat. After 10 minutes, the manager came over and asked me how many people were there. I told him I was waiting for someone. He pointed out that it was a table for four and that I should get up. Even my objection that a couple had occupied the table before and no one had been waiting didn't interest him! So I had no choice but to leave.

Update March 31, 2025 The review following the three *** originally dates back to 2019 and is an absolutely authentic and truthful account of the events of our only visit to Rodozio Oldenburg. Since the end of last year, the restaurant's owner has been trying to somehow get this review removed. He has already accused us of slander and, most recently, defamation, whereupon Google initially deleted the reviews, but then put them back online after I objected. Is it really that hard to admit your mistakes? Couldn't an employee have just had a bad day? Basically, it was just one employee who messed up, and my negative review doesn't say anything about the ambiance or the food. It was just about this one man who did a "shitty job." Oh man, Rodozio, own up to your mistakes. 100% positive reviews are beyond unbelievable. *** Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the food, because we didn't even get that far. After being left standing around a bit helplessly after entering the restaurant, we chose one of several small, free tables and sat down. It didn't even take a minute before a 2-meter-tall waiter stood "over" us and, looking down at us, explained that we couldn't stay there unless we had made a reservation. The waiter ignored our objections and bluntly interrupted us. All the free tables in the room were reserved. When I casually mentioned that we could leave the restaurant at any time, he just made a slight face and shrugged his shoulders. But now he seemed to want to show us where we could sit and eat in the restaurant without a reservation. To do this, he led us out of the dining room—if I'm not mistaken, past the restrooms—through a narrow corridor into an adjacent room that was almost completely empty, and gave us free rein to choose our own food. He left us with a feeling of being "dumped." We would have had to carry our food, perhaps several times, from the buffet in the dining room, past the restrooms, into the adjacent room, and then to our table... We were still hungry, but our appetites were destroyed. We left the restaurant again.

We were there for the first time today and both had the complete package for 33.90 per person, and it was worth every cent. Everyone was very friendly and we felt welcome as guests. The food was absolutely delicious and of excellent quality. The two samba dancers rounded off the evening. I would like to thank the entire team for the fantastic evening.

The thing I love the second, after their amazing meat and cocktails of course, is the ambience. The servers walking around serving different types of meat and grilled pineapple brings a sense of being somewhere in Brazil.

A nice restaurant in the heart of Oldenburg. Nice, attentive service that responds quickly and competently even when the restaurant is extremely full. The food, we chose the buffet with five different types of meat, was very tasty. Grilled to perfection. The ambience is basically very nice and actually deserves at least four stars, but since it is very loud, I decided on three stars. Of course I have to admit that it is a beautiful old building and with sound-absorbing material the charm would no longer be there. We'll definitely come back a few more times and look forward to the delicious food.

We had agreed to meet there for a cocktail: three delicious cocktails turned out. Even though all the tables were occupied, it was 'packed', the service was friendly and attentive. Class.

So, I still think the restaurant deserves a 5/5, but I have to say that otherwise it was a 6\5 for me. Unfortunately, the quality of the chicken and sausage from Spies wasn't that great, and the scampies/shrimp at the normal buffet were very limited. Don't get me wrong, I'll be back, I just thought it was better otherwise.

We knew the Rodizio system from Düsseldorf and we always liked and enjoyed it very much. We then found out that Rodizio also existed in Oldenburg and then decided to test it. RESERVATION was very friendly, we were called back immediately because our call could not be accepted at first. On a Saturday evening we were able to reserve a table straight away and we were given a tip about where we could park as I am disabled. When we arrived there was a good atmosphere and the dancers were in their element. After a friendly welcome, the options available at the buffet were explained to us. The various meat skewers were then explained to us, cut off and served to us. What was pleasant - unlike what we often experienced in Düsseldorf - was that we were always given enough time between the individual varieties and it was pleasantly quiet and relaxed. We were then informed that in addition to the buffet we had booked, we could also use the dessert from the "normal" buffet. It was always very friendly, accommodating and we felt very comfortable, all in all a successful evening. Gladly again.

Good restaurant with top offerings

First, the salad buffet and the other dishes on the buffet. There is absolutely nothing to complain about here, everything was delicious. The salads were fresh and everything else like mushrooms, potatoes and fries etc. tasted very good to us. Not all dishes are always super hot, but that's not necessarily to be expected here. Nevertheless, the buffet is always looked after by employees, so nothing is missing. The Rodizio, i.e. the variety of meat skewers, is very tasty and extremely diverse, including turkey, beef, lamb and chicken. The quality is good. The big Rodizio is a challenge, you have to be really hungry.

Went there for the first time through a recommendation. Were not disappointed. If you like really tasty steaks, this is the best place to go. I ordered steak English and that's what I got. There were 4 of us there and one steak was unfortunately too burnt but was replaced immediately. You order your steak or meat dish and the side dishes are available separately at the buffet. We didn't know such a concept before and were pleasantly surprised. The service is great and there are enough staff on site. We will definitely come back again.

Worst restaurant ever. Buffet selection far too small. Some of the food was cold. The strange meatballs tasted like they had been bad for 3 weeks. The meat on the skewer didn't taste good at all. Sometimes you couldn't tell what kind of meat it was. We will never go there again

Had dinner there on a Saturday evening. The service staff were friendly and quick. The buffet food was very tasty and varied. I also found the costs absolutely reasonable and reasonable.

Despite a reservation, there was no table available. There was no solution other than to wait until a table became available. This made me feel very uncomfortable and left after waiting 15 minutes.

My experience was wonderful. The waiters were super attentive. I loved the Brazilian man who works there. Super cool and I felt a little closer to my homeland. The food very good. Of course, if it had coxinha, cassava and cheese bread it would be better, but that didn't affect my experience there at all! When I left, I didn't say goodbye to the Brazilian gentleman.
