What you need to know before you go: It is largely a self-service restaurant. You order at the table using a QR code and pay either directly online or at the checkout. Food and drinks will then be brought. You put the dishes away yourself. That wasn't a problem for us, we actually found it quite nice. But we still thought it would be nice if you didn't have to take the plates away yourself. The food was very tasty! Excellent schnitzel! Just a little sparsely seasoned. We'll be back :) Redeeming the barometer went smoothly by paying at the checkout!

For me it's the best restaurant because it has the best concept. No miserable waiting for the waiter, everything is transparent and online, orders are placed directly at the table and you can even pay directly online. This is also relaxing for me as a guest because I don't have to gesture at overwhelmed service staff. The taste of the food and also the vegetarian versions is very good. It's great that there is also water in large bottles at acceptable prices. Please be sure to maintain this. This is a big plus point that sets you apart from others.

The breakfast buffet was great. Unfortunately, instead of delicious juices, there were only iced teas. Too bad!

A really great restaurant through and through. The food is very tasty, I can particularly recommend the roulade with a twist, the pepper prince burger and the fries with various dips! The ambience is very calming and inviting. Ordering is done via mobile phone or tablets provided. The service is always friendly and the food usually doesn't take long to arrive. Always a nice experience there!

Had the breakfast buffet on a Saturday. With coffee flat rate per person for €22. The selection is too thin for the price. The scrambled eggs were burnt and, together with the fried potatoes, unfortunately had no seasoning. Unfortunately, there is more in this price range. But the store is full, so never touch a running system.

I can only comment on the breakfast buffet. Tables are a bit small for four people. Atmosphere is actually nice, just very loud, more like a canteen. The service at the tables is not all self-service. The selection from the buffet is okay, but there was nothing special there during the week. Except scrambled eggs no warm food at the buffet. Rolls are baked rolls or rather inferior rolls like in a self-service bakery counter in a discount store. There are a lot of things for vegans that will definitely please vegans. Apart from tomatoes and cucumbers there were no vegetables. We paid around 20 euros per person with hot drinks (flat rate).

We sat in the restaurant for about 15 minutes. Three servers stood behind the counter talking and a third walked through the aisles wiping down the tables. No question whether we want to order. Guests also had to beg at the counter to be served. We then went to the competitor...

Great location in a modern, chic atmosphere... lovingly decorated... delicious breakfast buffet with a wide variety... nice staff... price-performance ratio a little more expensive but justified... always happy🙂Tip: make a reservation... always very full ...

I have rarely been to such a delicious restaurant. We've eaten there about 5 times in the last few months. We haven't tried everything yet, but we can only recommend the Stohschweinschnitzel, the Edelgockel burger, Roulade with a difference and the Dinsa garlic bread :-) The service has always been friendly, the food always comes out really quickly and the ambience is very nice.

Great in itself. Nice service! The only thing was the annoying cleaner who couldn't wait and basically swept between the legs. You felt like you had to leave. ....

Everything was very tasty (burgers, soup, schnitzel with sweet potato fries). Digital ordering also works perfectly. Positively surprised!

Very tasty food! I also think it's great that they pay attention to animal welfare in their products! For me, that's one reason why I'm more likely to eat at Pfefferprinz's than anywhere else.

Ladies and Gentlemen Unfortunately, I have not received any response from you via email and WhatsApp. I would like to clarify the following, which in my opinion is not appropriate in a “friendly” restaurant. I was at your restaurant this morning (Friday September 13th) for the breakfast buffet. I stood in line. There was a person standing in front of me who was greeted extraordinarily. There were two people behind me. A second waitress came to take in the remaining guests. The young lady clearly saw me and went to pick up the two guests who were standing behind me. I found that inappropriate and made me feel like I wasn't wanted in the restaurant. The guests behind me made it clear to the young lady that I was standing there in front of them. The waitress then said in an undertone that sounded quite derogatory: You didn't make a reservation, did you? As if I, as a young man, couldn't make reservations 🤦. What I can't understand is that this young lady ignored me and went to the next guests and asked them nicely: Have you made a reservation? I finally questioned this behavior and couldn't stop it at the breakfast buffet, which made the meal almost inedible. A big thank you to the other waitress who seemed friendly. (Lady with glasses). We once had wild salmon with salad and salad with chicken. Actually delicious ingredients also looked very appealing. But both salads drowned in dressing. The wild salmon had a lot of bones. Both salmon and chicken very strongly seasoned. Too strong for us unfortunately.

This was the second time we had lunch there and it was always incredibly tasty! The atmosphere is very nice, the service is super nice and ordering and paying via cell phone is totally easy. If we make our way to Oldenburg again, we will definitely eat there again 😉

Great location, very nice welcome. We were there for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. The buffet had everything your taste buds would like. Everything from regional production is very rich. It was always refilled. Always happy to come back and certainly for another meal.

We went to the Pfefferprinz for breakfast about two weeks ago with a prior reservation. The food is excellent - with the extensive selection, including vegetarian/vegan, you don't know where to go first. Everything tastes fantastic and it's impossible to try everything once. So we have to come back soon, which is clear anyway. The employees are also very nice and accommodating. The prices are absolutely reasonable for this unbeatably large offering. Clearly recommended.

We have been to the Pfefferprinz for brunch several times and have been very satisfied every time. There is enough choice: rolls, bread, antipasti, quark, muesli, cold cuts, eggs, scrambled eggs, spelled pancakes, fruit, juices etc.

I was there for breakfast a week ago. When I paid, 250 euros fell out of my wallet. I only noticed it after an hour and was exhausted. I didn't believe I would get it back, I was sad that this day would start so disastrously. But then I asked the cashier for my lost money. The employees smiled at me nicely and gave me my money. Incredible. Thank you so much for that ❤️ Sooo much honesty ❤️

Had lunch here on our way to Sweden. What a delicious menu they have here and excellent portions. Food of quality and animal-friendly origin (free-range pigs, for example). The choice of soft drinks could be wider. Very well priced. For 2 adults, 2 children, an extra portion of sweet potato fries and 2 drinks we only paid €41. Friendly staff, also spoke (partly) English and what was left could easily be put in a doggy bag. Small children's corner available, but don't expect too much. A good start to our holiday!

I ate baked potatoes with salmon. Frying a piece of salmon in the deep fryer until it is soft doesn't work. The food was far from worth the price. I won't eat here again.

I recently went here for breakfast. This is available in the form of a rich buffet. There is also a lot of choice for vegetarians/vegans (including cold cuts!) and animal products are free-range or organic. A flat rate for hot drinks can be booked for €3, which is worth it just for the different types of coffee. I was very satisfied and would like to come back. Be sure to reserve in advance on weekends!

Delicious food with many vegetarian alternatives. We tried the falafel burger and the schnitzel. The food is recommended. The service staff is young and very accommodating. We'd love to come back. Pro Tip: The restaurant can also be found in the Barometer.

We used to go to Aroma and it seemed like the place needed a face lift. And here comes Pepper Prince into the restaurant. As you walk in, you start to “enjoy” the industrial look. The dark, matt color and the warm light enhance the feeling of well-being. There is plenty of seating with very comfortable chairs and benches. The ordering process works like at Ikea, with the difference that at Pfefferprinz the quality is a given. It's better not to discuss tastes because everyone has their own. My partner and I really enjoyed the dish. The portions are large. You look for a lot of food in vain, but that's good. The kitchen can perfect the few dishes and you don't have the problem that something tastes different from another chef. Coffee and cake are very tasty and fresh. The P/L is correct. Your stomach will be grateful if you visit Pfefferprinz instead of fast food. :) The toilets are always kept clean. The staff is very friendly. The connection is fair for everyone, as is the case across the entire site. We will come back in any case. Addendum: The name would not be changed on the direct debit :)

Were in this restaurant for the first and last time. Ordered fish and chips and just chips. The fried fish had no taste, the fries had no salt and were already old. My wife only ordered fries, no salt and fries were old. All in all, it should have given us pause that the restaurant wasn't very busy at lunchtime. Never again 😩😩

Although it was surprisingly very full on a Tuesday, everything worked out super quickly, great ambience, delicious food and two super friendly girls in service!

The breakfast buffet is highly recommended...large selection which is constantly refilled and everything is delicious and fresh. The selection of drinks is also great...various types of coffee and tea, smoothies and homemade iced tea!! Simply great and can only be recommended...I'll always come back!!

Me and a friend visited this restaurant yesterday. As soon as we walked in we were warmly welcomed and offered a free choice of seats. Ordering with the QR code, paying and tipping online worked perfectly and the food was served quickly. Apart from the fact that the food was very good, there is also a varied selection and there should be something for everyone. Gladly again :)

We love having breakfast at Pfefferprinz. The atmosphere is cozy and the breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. There is a wide range of different products. And the staff is always friendly and helpful.

We were there for the breakfast buffet and nothing was left to be desired. Great atmosphere, nice staff. I also liked the fact that you pay right at the beginning because you can then just leave when you're done. Price-performance ratio is great. The optional hot drink flat rate is also great because there is a really large selection. And if you don't want a hot drink, you can stick with water or homemade iced tea. Very large selection and everything was really tasty. The rolls are very fresh and really really good. You can't usually get such good fresh rolls from my bakery. I was very surprised that you can also use soft eggs. That was my highlight😄 There are enough free parking spaces. I also think it's great that you can reserve online.

When we walked into the restaurant we were looked at strangely by the waitress and didn't even say hello. Wherever the food came, it was slammed on the table very rudely by the same waitress, without a word, no please, no thank you and no bon appetit. When paying, they didn't even ask whether they were together or separately and the change was thrown on the counter. Very unfriendly and disrespectful.

Today it happened for the second time that we ordered a vegan schnitzel and received one made with meat. We wanted to return it to get a new one - this was rejected very rudely. It's not the first time we've ordered a vegan schnitzel there, so we know what it looks and tastes like. The cashier just says “I can’t do anything about it” - maybe that’s true, but then asking for money for that is questionable. At breakfast there was moldy applesauce in the buffet all day - shouldn't you notice something like that beforehand? It's a shame, we've always enjoyed staying there, but we probably won't be back due to the lack of quality and service. Addendum in response: Last time the employee agreed with us that this was not the vegan schnitzel. The story about the applesauce is also true - feel free to ask the employee who replaced it with fresh one on Thursday morning.

Tasty, inexpensive and quick! Had lunch there spontaneously based on a recommendation. We ordered lemon black tea lemonade and schnitzel with fries (normal and sweet potato) with two dips each (truffle mayo and sesame mayo). Everything was super tasty and ready in no time. However, it wasn't very crowded either.

An absolute recommendation! We had breakfast at Pfefferprinz and were warmly welcomed. A very rich buffet awaited us with everything our hearts desired. I was particularly impressed by the chia pudding and the homemade cranola 👍🏼. An absolute plus point is the large selection of vegetarian and vegan products. It's hard to imagine that a shopping center has such a good breakfast. Very extensive and delicious buffet, normal things, but also homemade smoothies, iced tea, chia pudding, banana bread. There are many vegan things and animal welfare is important when it comes to animal foods. Nice ambience and friendly, calm service. It gets correspondingly crowded on weekends. If that's not for you, it's better to look for something else. Otherwise, be sure to reserve.

The food was acceptable. The ordering process was very confusing. There is no printed menu, but you have to laboriously browse through the offerings using a mini tablet provided or your own smartphone, which is all the more time-consuming because there are no complete offers, but you have to go to the chosen dish individually you have to click on the attachments. When the digital ordering process is completed, what you order is served rather carelessly. As you eat, people ask you in passing whether it tastes good. The answer will certainly not be heard again. Reorders of drinks then have to be done digitally again. That means interrupting your meal and typing away on your tablet or smartphone. Beverage glasses are sometimes rubbed (see photo) with the information that this happens as a result of the machine washing. An objection that you would rather have an unmarked drink glass will no longer be heard.

After modernization 1.5 years ago, now the Pepper Prince. Great concept, ordering with tablet or smartphone, speed, food, service and prices are completely ok I'll be back.

Very nice restaurant with a lot of choice and a great breakfast buffet :) We were there on a Saturday morning, of course it was a bit fuller but still very cozy. Definitely worth a visit. I think in the summer you can also sit outside there very nicely.

My favorite place to have breakfast. Large selection, regional products, everything freshly and deliciously prepared and served and, above all, at a very fair price! Plus a nice room, pleasant lighting, lots of plants, lots of little corners to sit and make yourself comfortable. Sometimes a bit noisy but nicely distributed, especially during the week. Always my pleasure!

A really very good restaurant with a wide range of breakfast options from rolls to spelled pancakes to yoghurt muesli etc. Everything is available, scrambled eggs with and without bacon, smoothies etc. First-class quality but also lunch and dinner are impressive, the Pfefferprinz burger with pulled meat ( Beef) and oven-baked vegetables or delicious fries, with a homemade iced tea, the taste is truly world-class, and the friendly service and the ambience do the rest. I can highly recommend Pepper Prince.

Was there for the first time and was surprised by the form of the order: scan the QR code at the table, select food and pay; everything possible in one go. Great, I was thrilled. If help was needed (I had forgotten something) the very friendly service was there. The food was delicious (I've never had such great fries before) and a great, modern atmosphere. Toilet clean (also important), but could do with a "painterly update" on the door and cover plate on the urinal. HIGHLY recommended, service super patient! As we left the restaurant we had a nice conversation with one of the employees.

An absolute no-go for older people who don't carry their cell phones around with them all the time and aren't particularly familiar with all the functions. There is age discrimination here! The menu must be accessed using a QR code and payment is also made here. After this didn't work and we didn't receive any help when we asked, we left. In my opinion, it's about hiring as few people as possible in order to make more profit. The work that the service staff normally does is delegated to the customer, who ultimately does it for free and even pays for it. How the whole thing works if the internet goes down. 🙈 Back to the roots is, I think, more humane and healthier.

Always perfect and one of our favorite restaurants. The dishes are always freshly prepared with high-quality products and you can taste it. Everything we have tried so far has been extremely tasty. Also a beautiful location that invites you to linger and great and lovely service!

Were here for breakfast and it was served in a buffet 😁 The selection is completely sufficient and there is food from open stables or free range. Since we were here on a weekday, the buffet costs 13.95 plus 3 euros for hot drinks instead, as already mentioned, the price is reasonable with a good and sufficiently large selection 🌞🌞🌞🌞 On the weekend you should reserve in advance otherwise you won't get a seat becomes. Even though the store initially looks very inviting from the outside, at first glance you notice that appearances are deceptive. The service staff are herded through the corridors by the boss, while he usually just sits in the corner and watches them - impossible, you have to feel like you're in a surveillance state! The chefs prepare the food without gloves, which can be clearly observed due to the open kitchen. The food tastes like nothing, is served lukewarm and is extremely carelessly prepared. No thanks. Even though the young girls in service are super friendly and do their best, our cutlery was dirty and the glasses were milky, as if they hadn't been washed thoroughly. The cleaning staff were lovely and the only reason why the one-star rating can be tolerated. I advise everyone to come here!

We had breakfast there. The breakfast was great, there's no other way to say it. The selection was great, everything was really tasty! You can't say much about the service, we were greeted in a friendly manner, ordered the buffet, paid and then you do your own service... One star deducted because it was really very loud and the noise level was more reminiscent of a canteen or something similar.

Oldenburg's best breakfast. Huge selection, cheap and delicious. Only with an appointment, otherwise it won't work. Deductions in service and ambience because you don't really get any instructions and it's just very crowded and loud. You have to shout and talk to your great-grandma with a hearing aid.

I don't really know where to start. It's an incredibly great restaurant, a beautiful ambience, great concept, great decor, just makes you feel good. But the cleanliness really made me deduct the stars. It's dusty and not clean, at least where we sat and across the street. Food is ordered digitally, and drinking was forgotten during a menu. One of the three dishes was good. Among other things, we had cheese spaetzle, which was drowned in butter and simply gratinated with cheese. You couldn't eat. The schnitzel was so breaded that you had to bite your teeth into the schnitzel. Paying at the table didn't work either. So next time I'll pick up the noodles from the other restaurant again.

Order digitally in a nice atmosphere, good service, vegan selection, quality still has a bit of room for improvement given the price, but that's complaining at a high level. Really good for a quick meal while shopping.
