ROCKET'S in Leipzig

My son invited me here this afternoon and we really enjoyed it. Even though the food is higher priced, the burgers and fries were very tasty. I would definitely like to highlight the very nice woman behind the counter.

Good, high quality, but comparatively expensive fast food restaurant. Nevertheless, the quality is excellent, on a Sunday evening in the run-up to Christmas I had a seat in the restaurant and didn't have to wait 5 minutes between placing the order and until the burger was actually ready. In addition, great and friendly service from the team, that can set a precedent! I'd love to come by again if the opportunity arises!

Had two burgers, the cheeseburger & the chicken tender burger. The cheeseburger was great, fresh, balanced and a good size. What didn't work at all was the chicken burger: super dry, just 2 small cold pieces of chicken without salt or any spices and therefore a total failure. Considering that a burger costs just under €10, this is more than disappointing. Tried it once, I would only go there again for the cheeseburger, as unlike the chicken burger it is made fresh.

Very tasty burgers. I like the bacon cheeseburger. A burger costs around 9.5. The falafel burger is also very suitable for vegetarians.

Currently the absolute best burger in Leipzig! (As of October 2024) Burgers that are completely satisfactory in terms of taste, craftsmanship and price. Whenever I leave Leipzig Central Station, I buy one of the burgers and the fried pickles. 🤩

Didn't expect to find such a good burger in the train station. Taste and service perfect.

Although it is in a property like, Mcdoof, Burgerking and KFC, it really stands out incredibly... Rarely have I had such a great burger from a chain. Waiting time was minimal and service was friendly... If I were ever to be in Leipzig again, I would eat there again at any time.

Expensive but it is worth it. Much much better than your classic fast food.

I ordered 2 chilli burgers today. And what did my tired eyes see when I unpacked them? No cheese on it. I spontaneously fell into a state of shock-like anxiety and my girlfriend wanted to send me to intensive care. Luckily it calmed down again, but not a nice experience :(

The burgers were okay, fresh meat, but relatively bland in taste and quite greasy. You can always refill soft drinks for free. The €28 for 2 burgers, 1 drink & 1 fries isn't exactly cheap either.

I found the patty to be more than cooked through and quite dry. The taste of the patties was so prominent that all that was left was the sauce. It didn't suit my taste.

Beautiful good day Actually, I really like their fast food restaurant. But yesterday they disappointed me a bit. I wanted to quickly get something to eat for me and my friend (who had been out all day and was looking forward to it) But unfortunately her store was closed *before* closing time. And everyone was cleaning. And where the store actually closed (at 10 p.m.), all the lights were off. Gives me the impression that everyone just wanted to get home quickly. Doesn't work at all. Lg

I only had 5 minutes and ordered the friendly employee's favorite burger, a bacon cheeseburger. I was completely serious and even took extra onions and cucumbers like he did. Ate the burger with my girlfriend on the train. At first we laughed because it was so small, but it was the best burger of our lives. I called straight away but no one answered because it was already the end of the working day. Something like that just before the end of the shift, chapeau. That's the only reason I'm going to see you now. Have a nice evening!

Normally I don't have good experiences at restaurants at the train station, but this place convinced me so much that this place has become one of my favorite restaurants. I ordered the double cheeseburger and the buttermilk chicken the next day. I was so surprised at how good both burgers tasted. I'll never get rid of that taste and I've never had a burger quite like it anywhere. Everything was right, both in terms of ingredients and price. I can recommend the store 100%

We really enjoy coming here, it has something American about it and you feel very comfortable. The prices are higher than those of McDonald's but also the gift!

Unfortunately something hidden in the train station, completely wrongly. The burgers don't have to hide from the competition. Not only are they significantly tastier than McDonalds etc., but they also offer a much better price-performance ratio. It's a shame that there are almost no Rockets restaurants in Germany.

This is the second time my boyfriend and I have eaten at Rockets and we always wonder why it is so empty at both lunch and dinner time. The open kitchen makes it possible to follow the preparation of the food, which further enhances the ambience. Everything is very clean and the employees are extremely accommodating. For €6.70 you get deliciously seasoned and crispy French fries with Parmesan and garlic. The tender BBQ wings with Cajun sauce for €9.90 were a bit too sweet for me personally, but my friend celebrated them (I think there were around 8-10 wings included). You can also always refill your soft drink. Simply great in terms of taste and price! Next time we'll try the burger :))

Best burger shop in Leipzig, you can eat here in PEACE, it's not too overcrowded. Please NEVER close this branch!!

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be. Burgers have become significantly smaller and more expensive, the buns are now sticky like the competitor's and the service is average. It's a shame, it was my favorite burger shop in the main station.

Anyone who can't go two steps further than McDonald or KFC is nice... Rocket's has real meat, the citizens are bigger and above all really tasty and real taste!!! 10 stars for everything 💝 go to Rocket's and stop eating the finished products at McDonald's which doesn't even mold 🤭

There are really damn good burgers here, and the menu is also impressive. All in all a really nice, atmospheric little burger shop.

Rocket's Burger is a very hidden but highly recommended shop. We ate fries and fried pickles and were really impressed: there are various self-service (barbecue) sauces and you can even pimp your food with fried onions. The wavy cut fries are very spicy, crispy and were ready very quickly. It's a shame that the shop in the corner is a bit lost, I'll be happy to come back.

It is 'hiding' in the corner of Leipzig main station. Now we've found it and are very happy - the burgers are amazing! The meat was super tasty and juicy, the rolls and sauce were also absolutely delicious. The fries as they should be - a bit like they used to be in the outdoor pool. And a really big portion. Price performance is absolutely right here, we'll be back!

I'm always on the lookout for a good burger when I'm out and about. And I have tried many. I read this place well and my expectations were also high for this place. But unfortunately I have to say that this is nothing but burger king and McDonald's. The same way you order and get the food. And the quality and size of the burger was also disappointing. Sugar-free soft drinks were sold out. And you only find this out after you have ordered and paid. So there was only water. They could have bought some cans of sugar-free soda. So their customers could still get what they were looking for and not be disappointed. At least put a sign when ordering that there is no sugar-free soda.

Good burgers, even BK can't come close, and MD certainly can't. Friendly. Prices have increased. Loyalty program and sauces - self-service eliminated. The promotional burger no longer offers a price advantage. A twenty is no longer enough for two burgers, with nothing but the burgers. But they are so delicious...

Rockets rocks! This isy new go to dining place when I come to Leipzig Bahnhof. Food was Incredible! Yes, it does cost more than your usual burger place but you are getting your money's worth guaranteed. Their menu seems simple at first glance but have so many options for customising your burger to perfection. The atmosphere is modern industrial with great ambient lighting and moody black, white, and red theme. Very nice experience and great service. 11 out of 10 recommend!

Very tasty burgers and fries. As a drink, there is the typical selection of Coca-Cola that you can fill and refill yourself. For everyone who hates sweeteners in drinks as much as I do, you've come to the right place. Price a little more expensive than the competition, but definitely worth a visit. I'd love to come back.

A very good smashed burger, few ingredients but good meat, but unfortunately mine was unsalted which affected the taste a little.

The store is an absolute joke, no more bacon, neither as an extra nor for bacon cheeseburgers nor for bacon cheese fries, no more Coke neither normal nor zero. Is kept secret when ordering. If you ask later whether you will receive compensation, you will be made to look stupid and accused of having already removed it from the order board, even though the colleague had removed it 2 seconds beforehand, when we had already been at the table for about 10 minutes sat. Not worth recommending!!

Always a nice visit, the burgers are phenomenal, the fries are crispy and well seasoned. The staff are friendlier than most restaurants. Everything is clean, you can refill the soft drink as often as you want. It's a shame that there are so few Rockets. I hope the store in Leipzig stays with us for a long time! PS: only improvement, the sweet potato falafel burger should also be labeled as vegetarian. Then one or two vegetarians will dare to come in more quickly :)

Guys, try it out. There's really nothing to say about the taste here, it's quick and I think it just fills you up... not like the competition where after three burgers you're hungry again an hour later. Here's a good burger, some fries and a few more chicken tenders...then you're full for the day

Burger was very good. Two patties, good filling, nothing wrong with the taste. Sweet potato fries also very tasty, served fresh and hot. Prices a little higher, but quality, in contrast to other fast food chains... we can recommend it. The only complaint is that they close at 9 p.m.

What more could fast food want at the train station? Ingredients fresh, burgers very well put together and really quick. You can't expect more 😊 It would be 5 stars if each ingredient was better on its own 🤝🏼

It's gotten worse and worse since it opened in 2021 (?). The offer has steadily shrunk, everything is only available at an additional cost, even though the cheeseburger menu now costs €17.40. It was already quite expensive from the start, but the price/performance ratio no longer fits. I won't eat here again. A pity.

I ordered from Lieferando. Burger was great. So the Rockets immediately teleported me to America after unpacking the burger, so that was just huge. Strong .

The burgers are actually quite good for a franchise chain and were also reasonable in terms of price before the price increase. Unfortunately, I no longer find the increased prices appropriate to the offer. Of course, I am also aware of the current economic situation, but I have to say that I no longer find the price-performance ratio appropriate. This may be partly due to the location and the associated operating costs, but these days I get a much better menu for EUR 16.50, including table service. The ambience simply doesn't reflect that, it's just fast food in a train station. I have had different experiences with the staff, some good, some not so good - but that can also be due to the day's form. Conclusion: Food was okay but the price, in my opinion, was no longer fair.

Update: I liked it here, but I don't come anymore. People are used to the fact that prices are rising, but at the same time the service is getting worse and ketchup is only given out for money. A pity.

The website says it's open until 9 p.m. We arrived around 1950 and were told it was closed. I said it was until 9 p.m. The man said he would close at 8 p.m. So the employees don't know their own website. And even if it was 20, then it's lazy to close before that. Update 19/2/24 I contacted them on 28/12 as they wrote here, but their customer service is not responding either

The burgers are really tasty and significantly better than the competition's franchise. The service is quick and courteous (Order for a burger, preparation, completion in about 5 minutes so ideal for a transfer stop). The price is quite high considering the size of the burgers. But I also understand that these are difficult times for the catering industry, so this should be seen as a note and not as criticism.

I went because of the many good reviews and wasn't particularly impressed. Had a hamburger (without pickles, that worked) and everything was fresh. However, the beef was quite dry and seemed to have little seasoning. I didn't taste the tomatoes, lettuce and onions at all. Fries were tasty and well fried, but nothing particularly exceptional. Free refills are welcome, but there is a deduction for the packaging. I was sitting in the restaurant and the burger was still wrapped in paper (for a distance of about 7 meters), yes others do that too, but it's still nonsense. The cup for the drinks is also made of plastic... The price is definitely too expensive for the portion size and the few toppings. 16.5€. In return I get almost a whole bucket of side dishes for two people at KFC next door. With the portion at Rockets I'm not nearly full, which is a shame. You shouldn't forget: In other restaurants where the meat is not dry, for example Hans im Glück (not the best example, yes, but burgers are better priced there). For 2€ more there is a lunch menu with citizens, fries, drink and hot drink, as well as full service at your seat and plates. Finally, the ambience. Everything is clean, that's great. Unfortunately there was a constant cold draft in the area, which was rather unpleasant. Overall rather disappointing. I'd rather spend the money in a real restaurant or go to McDonalds almost twice

My friend from the USA says that since he has lived here these are the best burgers he has eaten in DE. I have to agree, they are really really good and pretty close to the ones I had in the US. Bonus points for the fact that this is a Leipzig original and not a chain or anything like that. I can also recommend milkshakes! The staff is also very nice and they work very quickly! The ambience is like an American diner, so very appropriate!

*I tried the Buttermilk Fried Chicken, which can be ordered in Menu 1 with fries and a drink. *The hamburger bun was special and beautiful. The fried chicken was juicy and carefully prepared. *The sauces were made with garlic and gave the impression that they were made at home. *So it was a good first attempt. I recommend it to hamburger lovers.

Die Burger sind gut und die Softdrinks können kostenlos nachgefüllt werden. Die Pommes scheinen billige Tiefkühlpommes aus dem Supermarkt zu sein. Die kriegen andere Fast-Food-Ketten (auch McDonald's und BurgerKing) besser hin.

Ich kann dieses "Kiosk dine-in" vorbehaltlos weiterempfehlen. Um Welten besser, als die beiden Fastfoodläden direkt daneben. Weiter so! 2 x an einem Tag hingegangen sagt doch alles. Am gesetzlichen Feiertag 1. Januar hatten viele Restaurants und Bistros geschlossen. Ich wollte nur einen Burger ODER ein paar Pommes essen. Das Ergebnis: ich war mittags so angetan vom reduziert wirkenden Ambiente im Rocket's als Gegenpol zur Reizüberflutung des Tages und zum Bahnhofsgewusel, und vom Monatsspecial "Hamburger Brie mit Preiselbeeren" für 8,50€, und vom Personal, dass ich abends vor der Zugfahrt umgehend ein zweites Mal hinging. Als frühes Abendbrot "Sweet Cajun Potato Fries", sowie ein Bier für 3,90€ und dann konnte die Zugfahrt gut oder schlecht verlaufen wie sie wollte, ich war satt und selig. Extrem gutes, schnelles und zuvorkommendes Personal (Disclaimer: ich war außerhalb der Rush hour da, 14 Uhr und 17:15 Uhr). Sehr sauberes Restaurant und auch die Toiletten (der Zugangscode zur Eingangstür ist auf dem Bestellzettel zu finden). Gutes und reichliche irisches Fleisch, und wirklich angenehm viele Preiselbeeren, nicht nur zwei, drei Pseudo-Dekoelemente. Süßkartoffel-Pommes waren außen kross, innen schön weich, etwas scharfer Dip als Kontrast, was will man mehr? Hier stimmt einfach alles, weiter so!

Ich war mit meiner Freundin heute das erste mal dort essen und bin begeistert. Alles super Hygienisch und etwas im americanischen Stil. Sehr schön und man fühlt sich wohl. Über den Preis streiten sicherlich viele Geizhälse, aber DER PREIS LOHNT SICH!!! Immer wieder gern.

Vielleicht die besten Burger der Stadt. Auf jeden Fall um Welten besser als die beiden großen Fast Food Ketten direkt daneben.

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und das Essen sehr gut. Nicht nur im Geschmack sondern auch in der Qualität. Es ist ein schönes Ambiente mit moderner Ausstattung. Alles in allem sehr gelungen.

Bin hier mittlerweile 1-2x im Monat. Bester Burger der Stadt, zu einem nachvollziehbaren Preis. Das Fleisch ist knusprig gebraten und bissfest, und dennoch saftig. Die Monatsburger sind abwechslungsreich (jetzt im Dezember Brie mit Preiselbeeren). Hervorheben muss man hier das Personal. Sie gehen auf deine Wünsche ein, jedes Mal. Sie sind gut gelaunt und auch mal für einen Plausch bereit. Vielen Dank.

I got a cheeseburger and fries here. The burger was excellent. A real proper burger, not a frozen patty. The fries were just ok. The atmosphere isn’t great and there was a cold breeze coming in from the train station. But despite all that. If you want a good burger. Come here and ignore MacDonalds and KFC next door.

The food options are just what you need for a quick meal waiting for your train: burgers, wings, fries and such. I am guessing it's good enough to even attract the local crowd! The staff was lovely. HUGE PLUS! The restaurant has its own toilettes! Way better than the downstairs foodcourt with the infinite queue at the paid bathrooms upstairs!. I definitely recommend Rocket's if you are at Leipzig train station! What I saw as points for improvement for the restaurant were: 1) The toilette access has a code. The code is on the receipt. Yet there you are, standing by the door after having eaten sticky cajun chicken wings, hoping to open the door with your elbow to go wash your sticky hands, and with no idea where your receipt is. Maybe giving the cashier a buzzer button to open that door for such cases is an idea? She was a lovely girl and opened the door for me, but she had to walk to the door and punch in the code. It could be made simpler. 2) The ordering screen is OK, but even the interior seemed all too fast-food-y and cold for a place where a meal costs nearly 20 bucks. Throw in some blankets or furs to make it feel warmer and less like just another KFC? Because it is way better! 3) Get 1 good beer on tap. The beer was great and a natural necessity with my wings and fries, but it would greatly improve the value to get a tapped pint with my meal. Seriously, I would have 2 more and just chill until my connection. 4) Getting a small bowl of peanuts and a beer without running to the ordering screen and through the sterile process is what a delayed traveller at a train station needs. Maybe get an ordering app to order from the tables once people got seated? Plus, if they get a small salty snack like peanuts or popcorn, they will drink more beer.

Netter Laden, aber das Essen war leider nix. Sauce der Chicken Wings komplett verwässert (nix mehr mit hot), die Chicken-Sliders im Kids-Menü ein Witz (ohne Sauce oder sostwas, nur ein Mini-Stück Hühnchen auf 2 Minibuns verteilt). Pommes okay. Freundlicher Service und Ambiente okay.

Das was du bestellst, ist nicht das, was du bekommst. Hab den House Salad über das Terminal bestellt. Dir Produktbeschreibung umfasst "House Salad" und ein Foto. Leider ist bei dem Foto kein Hinweis gesetzt, dass dieses den Salat mit aufpreispflichtigen Extras zeigt. Für mich als Erstkunde (und nun Einmalkunde) war das dann doch enttäuschend. Weiterhin frage ich mich, wie ich mit diesem Besteck den Salat mit Gurkensteifen und Möhren vernünftig essen soll. Vllt. läuft es mit den Bürgern besser, aber das werde ich wohl nicht erfahren 😉 Ergänzung: Das Personal war freundlich und kann natürlich nichts für die von mir als Täuschung empfundene Produktbeschreibung im Bestellsystem sowie das bereitgestellte Besteck. Ich habe den Salat übrigens mit nach Hause genommen, weil er einfach nicht essbar war mit dieser Gabel. Ergänzung 2: Natürlich isst man in einem Burger Restaurant nicht als erstes und einziges einen Salat und der Salat war auch frisch sowie vom Inhalt/Umfang her besser als bei den üblichen Ketten. Das ändert nur leider den ersten Eindruck nicht.

Absolut top, etwas teurer als manch bekannte Fast Food Kette, aber absolut erstklassiger Burger und Pommes! Da können McDonald's und Burger King mit ihrem "Essen" nicht ansatzweise mithalten

Ich empfehle es aufjedenfall weiter, sehr leckere Pommes, 100/10 die Burger, ordentliches Ambiente und nettes Personal. Wir gehen da immer wieder gerne hin

Meine Rezension über Rocket's musste ich löschen, da leider sich vieles verschlechtert hat. Ich habe den Anfang mitbekommen wo der Laden neu war. Wenn ich überlege, dass das Menü 1 damals 12,80€ gekostet hat und nun bei 17!!!! Euro liegt, einfach zum kotzen! Jetzt verlangen die 80 Cent für die BBQ Soßen die damals umsonst zur Verfügung standen. Ketchup und Majo muss man extra Anfragen, darf man sich auch nicht mehr nehmen. Der alte Getränke Automat fehlt immer noch, dort gab es mehr Auswahl. Das überteuerte, aber dafür leckere Essen lockt mich leider immer wieder in den Laden aber es ist keine Empfehlung mehr wert!!!!!!!!
