Riverside in Mühlheim am Main

The friendly, young waitress made up for the slightly longer wait. Since the food was also phenomenal, everything was forgiven. However, our neighbor complained loudly about the other waitress (an older lady). They had arrived before us and didn't even have menus when our food finally arrived. We considered ourselves lucky, though, for the wait and the service!

The wait times are a complete disgrace for mediocre food. Furthermore, orders were forgotten several times and sometimes delivered incorrectly. The location is great, but the restaurant can't do anything about that.

Unfortunately, you wait forever for the food. The portions are also quite small, and people are smoking at neighboring tables. That shouldn't be happening! On top of that, the wrong side dishes were served, or side dishes were forgotten! It's a shame, because it's actually really nice there :(

Delicious Mediterranean cuisine, perfect drinks and cocktails, excellent and very friendly service. You feel very comfortable.

Despite having three dogs, we received a friendly welcome. The food was delicious. We had bifteki with fries. The meat was very well seasoned and cooked through. The seating is very pleasant.

Well, cyclists leave right away. The food is average, it could be better!!! The guys behind the bar are very good! The service staff is untrained and very arrogant! You wait an hour or more for the food! The location itself is okay! You've lost a long-time customer, sorry! And the manager is great, very pleasant and accommodating!

The place is in a great location. We were not lucky enough to have tea. Unfortunately the dessert was very dry and not fresh. But it is a nice place to take a break from hiking.

Unfortunately, we weren't at all satisfied with the food and had to wait a good hour for it, even though it wasn't busy. The lamb chop was raw and tough. We neglected to say anything right away, but you'd expect chops to be cooked well. The service was very nice and friendly. I think it's a shame that this beautifully located restaurant doesn't pay a little more attention to the quality of the food. Large portions alone aren't enough.

Today I happened to pass by this restaurant on a bike ride and my visit was a real treat. I had the chicken strips with rice, which was fantastically seasoned, and came with a small salad of grilled vegetables. It was really, really tasty. For dessert, there were various ice cream sundaes on the menu, and I thought a little ice cream to finish off the journey wouldn't hurt. But what I got was a true work of art, visually and tastefully unlike any other ice cream parlor I've ever experienced. Thank you so much for your attentive and extremely friendly hospitality. The Greek music and the view of the Main River made me feel almost like I was on vacation.

I love going there, almost every day in fact. If we're not eating there, we'll at least go for a delicious cocktail or an espresso. It's a lovely atmosphere, and they have a wide selection of delicious dishes. Yes, sometimes the wait for food is a bit long, but I think that's unavoidable in a restaurant on some days, especially when lots of people are ordering at once. They're dog-friendly too.

We landed here today by chance and are absolutely thrilled. Thank you for the great service, delicious food and a wonderful spot on the Main, the Kaiser family :-)

Very tasty Greek dishes with relatively reasonable prices and portion sizes. In summer, you can sit comfortably on the terrace or just grab a lounge chair with a view of the Main River for a drink. The service was also very attentive.

Unfortunately disappointing – visually appealing, but that's about it. The restaurant looks good from the outside, but unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unattentive. We ordered a gyro plate and bread with aioli. The gyro tasted terrible – the consistency and flavor were more reminiscent of pudding than meat. The portion was also extremely small. The bread with the aioli was rock hard, as if it were several days old. After complaining, we were only given reheated, equally hard bread – no improvement, no concessions. Overall, the food was inedible, and we unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. The tavern's outdoor area was relatively well-populated, but not full. Nevertheless, we had to wait a very long time for the menu, drinks, and food. Neither bread nor salt/pepper/oil/vinegar were served with the salad. The salad was served without any seasoning and in much too large pieces. My companion's mixed grill was good. In my opinion, the service was overwhelmed. Unfortunately, these people can't do anything about the staffing shortage and are certainly trying their best. Despite the restaurant's beautiful location, I probably won't be going back anytime soon. Which I find very unfortunate.

Very tasty dishes. The portion is about right, not too large; with several combinations of starters and main course can also be good for sharing. Staff were very friendly. Went to the place 2 days in a row. Love the food and also the general atmosphere. If you sit closer to the bar, the music can be too loud. If you sit in the back, you could hardly hear any music. Would be nice if 1-2 speakers can be setup in the seating area, so the music volume is regulated better. The other downside was when the food is served, you are attacked by flies 😅

We ordered a chicken salad and a gyro plate. The chicken salad was barely prepared and had only a dab of dressing on it, if anything. The chicken was dry. The gyro plate was mediocre. The meat was overcooked and dry. Service seemed forcedly friendly. I've been there three times now and both times it was a complete disappointment. The only good thing was the ambiance and the location.

Great location, good service too. Bottled water for the price of a crate, the food tastes good but portions are very small. If you need to fill yourself up, one main course isn't enough. It hasn't always been like this.

Very long wait for drinks... 25 minutes????? Too bad. The ambiance and food were okay. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time the service has taken so long. By the way: only half the tables were occupied.

So far, everything's been great, except... The fact that you get new drinks, but the empty glasses and plates aren't cleared away. It also feels strange when some neighboring tables get an Ozu when paying, while others don't.

Very nice by the water and great to enjoy even with a large group. Friendly service, and even when I wanted something to eat after the kitchen was already closed, they still brought me a small plate with delicious dips and bread. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately that was nothing. The star is given for the ambience and location. Service completely overwhelmed and confusion with orders. We had to wait well over an hour for our food, which wasn't exactly convincing. The fish platter was very manageable and the only shrimp on it was almost raw. Too bad!

We only drank cocktails, but they were very tasty. Since it was a Sunday and sunny and all the pensioners in the area wanted/needed to celebrate their retirement, the service sometimes seemed overwhelmed. Because of the long waiting times, we got drinks on the house and afterwards a delicious ouzo, which was really necessary. I'd love to come back, but preferably during the week when the Aperol people are busy with their stock portfolio.

After completing the Tour de France on the Main, this is the ideal place to get rid of all the bones and recharge your batteries with delicious food and snacks. 👍 The people there are totally and very nice. It's worth stopping😎 Update April 12, 2025: Went there again today, looked for a table, found a table. Wait, wait... The waiter looks at us... wait, wait... The waiter looks at us again... (This is repeated two or three more times)... Get up and say goodbye. Anyone who comes to mind should obviously look like they have sales or should plan a lot of time. Sure, there was a lot going on today, but when you as an employee notice that there are "new" guests, I expect at some point a reaction like "I'll be right back" or something like that.

The trip from Mannheim on All Saints Day to Mülheim was free. According to the internet, the store was open. A sign could be seen on site. We are on vacation from October 14th. Not exactly professional. You can publish it on the internet.

Been there again. And was completely disappointed. 3-4 people who take care of customers in a completely uncoordinated manner. We weren't the only ones who left after an unreasonable amount of time waiting. The location on the water is of course great. Every restaurateur should be happy to have such a diamond. You make your own luck. And good staff? Wasn't to be found there.

Delicious Greek cuisine, pleasant and friendly service. The lovely ambiance in the beer garden right on the Main River creates a holiday feeling.

The food goes like this. The starter salad is not recommended. Lovely large leaves of iceberg lettuce and 2 other salads and then a large ladleful of sauce on top. I've never seen anything like it. 🤔 Prices are very expensive. Location is very nice and the staff is very friendly. But that doesn't make up for it.

Lecker mit tollem Ausblick; freundliche und schnelle Bedienung, genügend Personal; Leckeres frisch gebackenes Maisbrot vorab; Wir hatten gegrillte Calamari mit Gemüse und einer Knoblauchsoße, und als Vorspeise Riesenbohnen mit Schafskäse und Champignons mit Knoblauch; Mythosbier; Ouzo aufs Haus; Cocktail Happy Hour 17-19 Uhr - sehr gut gemixt; Alle Getränke und Speisen sind frisch zubereitet und toll angerichtet, schmackhaft und man wird satt. So ein perfektes Gesamtpaket gibt’s heute noch selten.

Made a quick stop. The atmosphere was good and we got loungers on the Main. A nice waitress took the time to explain the different cakes. But the prices were unfortunately a bit extremely high for what you get. More than €6 for a piece of cake??? Unfortunately this is not possible

Very friendly and attentive, my food was also delicious. Chicken breast was out, but I was offered leg meat instead. Direct hit! Great grilled taste and buttery tender.

First of all...the cocktails were great...food was not good at all...worse Greek food I've ever eaten...service was terrible...tables weren't cleared after the meal, service was friendly... .but very slow...the food also took a very long time...1 hour waiting time...for starters.... Ambience....music went like that....view of the water a bit...conclusion...not recommended, we won't go there for dinner anymore...what's up...get cocktails and sit on the deck chairs sit by the water...the restaurant is great for that

We celebrated my 59th birthday, I had the stuffed minced steak with rosemary potatoes, tzatziki and salad, super tasty. Very nice service.

We've never been there before, but that's over now! It was really delicious, the service was great and the ambience right on the Main was just great! And there are cocktails at reasonable prices if you just want to have a nice drink. We would definitely love to come back!

There were no menus available when we arrived, so we ordered drinks first. When they still weren't there after 30 minutes, we got up to leave. We were then asked by a waiter why we were leaving. Then I told him why. He then wanted to find out at the counter which drinks we had ordered, which he wasn't able to do. That and the fact that the bar staff constantly filled the glasses with ice cubes with their bare hands convinced me that my decision to leave was correct.

The food is incredibly delicious. The red wine was very good. Price performance is top. Beautiful location and nice staff. Despite it being full, everything went very quickly. We'll definitely come back. We then enjoy a cocktail 🍸 by the water.

I would prefer to give 0 stars. No drinks for 20 minutes. New acquaintances are served first and apparently chatting at the bar is more interesting than paying customers... unless they are one of the acquaintances. The prices are pretty steep. We know it differently from Greece. Above all the service.

We "landed" here by chance... were traveling with a motorhome. Gyros were extremely tasty and the liver with caramelized onions was buttery tender. The plates were full, so we really had to forego dessert. The staff is warm/nice and the ambience was right anyway. If we are in the area again...this nice restaurant will definitely be our choice again.

Wir waren schon des öfteren als Gäste vor Ort, wir sind nie hungrig oder oder durstig nach Hause gegangen. Aber einen großen Teil als Gäste haben wir jedesmal damit verbracht, nach Getränk/Essenbestellung zu betteln. Es gibt wenig geschultes Personal und der Eigentümer ist offensichtlich nicht aus der Gastronomie, dass merkt man an der fehlenden Struktur in allen Abläufen. Diese Einrichtung hat viel mehr Potential, die Gäste könnten mit wenig Aufwand schneller und kompetenter bewirtet werden. Selbst bei einem nicht mal halbvollen Biergarten, gibt es kaum schnellen oder aufmerksamen Service. Der Eigentümer hört nicht gern die kritischen Worte, er macht mir eher den Eindruck, lieber auf eine vermeintliche Coole-Art durch den Gästebereich zu stollzieren und sich von den Stammgästen feiern zu lassen. Mir ist das Tzatziki besonders positiv in Erinnerung geblieben, sonst ist die Speisekarte sehr klein, mit wenig Abwechslung. Alles ist etwas trocken. Immer nur Pommes als Beilage finde ich sehr einfallslos. Auf den Getränke-. und Speisekarten fehlen die gesetzlich vorgeschrieben Angaben der Allergene (seit 2014 Pflicht). Essen steht auf dem Tisch, auf Bestecke muss man aber noch warten, bis es da ist, ist das Essen abgekühlt. Sollte man das Glück gehabt haben, bei einem "Kellner" eine Bestellung aufgegeben zu haben, muss man mehrmals nachfragen bis man nach langem Warten seine Getränke erhält (auch bei halb vollem Biergarten).

Well, not exactly a burner. Had the farmer's salad. Was disappointed, didn't taste good and was carelessly prepared, not worth the 12 euros. Wirt said farmer's salad would be like that. Much better in other Greek restaurants.

The fish grill platter with a side dish of vegetables was very tasty 😋 Holiday flair with live Greek music and a view of the Main.

Food was inedible the other day: at least my 2 souflaki skewers!!! Stringy, dry meat, raw in places, alleged price reduction incomprehensible because there was no invoice....... The staff didn't respond well to my complaint and that from the 2 skewers only 2 pieces of meat were missing, which I wrapped in the napkin after endless attempts to chew. I have NEVER been presented with something like this in my life!!!!! Never again !!!!!! Aioli with bread and fries were ok, nothing more!!!!! Good location outside. We weren't inside. Great map, unfortunately it has changed since the first visit.........

Great area. Outside is barrier-free, inside not. Toilets cannot be used either. I can't say much about the food, I only ordered pepperoni. But no bread or cutlery was brought. Only when we warned about it after an hour... the boss was very friendly and greeted us with a handshake when we arrived, which was very pleasant and nice.

I love sitting there on the promenade in summer and enjoying a cold drink. Great location and the food is great too.

Very nice location, you sit really nicely, but after the service contact you want to throw yourself into the Main. One service person was very friendly, the other was absolutely disinterested, rude, worked at a snail's pace and forgot half of the order. The boss was the absolute pinnacle of mangy behavior. We were told at the table that it didn't make sense to order a meat dish with sheep's cheese instead of meat and that there were plenty of vegetarian alternatives (1 salad & 1 starter). The second dish was also forgotten and when asked, the reaction was extremely inappropriate. Anyone who has even the slightest claim to at least satisfactory service is absolutely not in the place here.

Visit to this restaurant – an unforgettable experience, but unfortunately not for the right reasons. At first we were greeted with remarkable indifference by the waitress and had to wait a long time for our drinks. Since these were brought to the table incorrectly, we had the pleasure of ordering them several times. The highlight of our evening, however, was the interaction with the boss. When asked simply about vegetarian alternatives, he responded with a mix of mockery and condescension that can only be described as...impressive. It's rare to feel so unwelcome as a guest. The long waiting times and the poorly thought-out organization rounded off our visit perfectly. If you're looking for an evening full of unintentional comedy and absurdity, this is the right place for you. For everyone else there are certainly better alternatives.

With one exception, the staff is unfriendly and incompetent. You could have eaten three pizzas by the time your order was at the table.

Well, it was Father's Day, so I understand a lot of things, but I don't understand that I have to wait 45 minutes for drinks, then my wife gets a warm, stale beer, which was returned and took forever until the person sitting next to me said something to the waitress. We were immediately told that the kitchen was overloaded and there was nothing to eat, which I can understand. What I can't understand is that guests came after us and got something to eat. Obviously the staff judges who gets what to eat and who doesn't. I definitely won't visit again.

But an Äppler costs €6 in Nice, before you can tell stories.

The Äppelwoi 0.5 l costs €4.50. In Frankfurt you pay €4 at Nice. I gave €5, I got the 50 cents back in 1, 2, 5 and 10 cent coins. I pocketed the change without comment, but I can't shake the suspicion that they're hoping not to accept it.

Erstmal danke an die Mitarbeiterinnen im Service, auch wenn man sofort merkt, dass die wenigstens Serviceerfahrungen haben, haben sie alles gegeben, die Gäste zufrieden zustellen! Man merkt, das selbst der Eigentümer keinen Gastronischen Hintergrund hat. Es fehlt an jeglicher Optimierung um schnelle und vor allem für das Personal einfachere Arbeitsweise zu schaffen, daß merkt man besonders an der Unzufriedenheit an den Nachbartidchen. HIER MUSS DER EIGENTÜMER ETWAS FÜR GÄSTE UND PERSONAL TUN!!! Vielen Dank an alle 5 verschieden Servicekräfte, die unsern Tisch bedient haben und einiges an Getränken und Essen nicht verbucht haben, dafür haben wir gern ein sehr großzügiges Trinkgeldgegeben! Es gibt jede Menge Optimierungsmöglichkeiten, aber das Gastronomische Fachwissen fehlt dem Besitzer völlig! In Zeiten von Personal Knappheit, sollte ich die Arbeitsbedingungen optimieren, dass wirkt sich positiv auf das Personal und damit auf die Gäste und damit auf den Umsatz aus!!!

Wir haben den Biergarten besucht. Schöne Lage am Main, direkt am Fahrradweg. Kaffe und Kuchen sowie Getränke gibt es zu vernünftigen Preisen. Das Personal ist freundlich. Guter Zwischenstopp bei einer Radtour.

You can sit very nicely, the food also tastes very good, only the staff are not on their toes, they walk past the table even though you haven't ordered yet, they waited half an hour until someone finally came so you could order

Nicely cooked food in a nice terrace by the river. We had the fish plate, which included calamary, sardines, seabream and prawns in small portions, and it was tasty. The other dishes looked good too. The only problem was waiting time. The terrace was full that day and the staff seemed overwhelmed. However, they were really nice, specially a Greek girl who apologized for the waiting time. In summary, tasty food if you don't mind about a bit of waiting in their riverside terrace.
