Ristorante Valentino in Nettetal

We had reserved a table for December 9th, 2025, and arrived at 5 pm with our 8-year-old daughter and a woman in a wheelchair. Despite our confirmed reservation, we were not allowed to sit down. We were told that entry was only permitted for those 10 years and older – a rule that is not mentioned anywhere on the website and is completely incomprehensible to us. In our situation, this seemed not only unprofessional but also discriminatory. We had to leave and will neither eat nor order from there in the future. A few less customers for us. The reservation was made by phone, and they didn't even address the issue of the child's age, only referring to the reservation itself. We were turned away because the child was too young, not because of a missing reservation!

Great pizza. One of the best in the area.

You can enjoy good, affordable Italian cuisine here. One star deducted because I was recently overcharged by €1 even though I paid in cash. They usually add €1 for card payments.

We visited this cozy little Italian restaurant on our way home from the theme park – and it was a great decision. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff super friendly and attentive, and the food simply fantastic. Every dish was full of flavor and truly authentic. A real little gem – we'll definitely be back!

I often get takeaway pizza, etc., but I only ate there once. Great atmosphere, really professional. The food is delicious. Although some dishes can be different than you expect, everything is well-prepared.

Very friendly staff, the food is delicious, and the price-quality ratio is excellent! We regularly get our pizzas here; I'm especially fond of the 36 with extra shrimp. It's so good that my neighbor even picks it up for me when he picks up pizzas. As you can see in the photo, we always pick up pizzas for several people on our street and our group of friends. Haha.

It was unfriendly on the phone; I asked what I was doing and got rude and hung up straight away. And they don't make small pizzas anymore either.

We were passing through and easily got a table for seven people, even though we arrived relatively late. It was child-friendly, the service was excellent, and the food came quickly and we all enjoyed it. The premises (including the restrooms) also seemed clean. If we're ever in the area again, we'd be happy to come back.

Pizzeria Valentino is highly recommended! The staff is super friendly, attentive, and caters to all your needs – you immediately feel welcome. The penne mare was supposed to be with prawns, but it was just shrimp. That's way too expensive for €14.50!

The pizza is average. It could be better. It's definitely not Italian pizza. The food is delicious, but it still lacks the qualities of a good pizza.

We order very often from Valentino and repeatedly we forgot to add spicy garlic, which is a euro wasted every time given the already high prices. That was our last order. You can also spend the 70-80 euros a month somewhere else.

Delivery was promised in 15-40 minutes but only after almost 1.5 hours. Food was second class but the prices were first class! No one apologized for the delay, not on the phone after I called when more than an hour had passed and not during delivery.

Very nice restaurant, staff was nice, food was brought to the table quickly. If you order pizza, you get warm rolls. Pizza was crispy, schnitzel was really tasty, fries were well salted, salad was really good. I will definitely visit this restaurant again. Greetings to the employee.

Always fast and delicious food.

Pizza was edible but the dough was pretty soft in the middle and somehow you were really stingy by now. Treat yourself to more than 3 slices of mushrooms at +€1.00 and apparently there wasn't much cheese left either

The food was by no means what you would expect from a restaurant called vakentino. Pizza made from ready-made dough with strange tomato sauce and simply no toppings worth mentioning. spinach pizza rolls soft and each filled with a spinach leaf. (Laughable). The wine from Italy for a whole 9 euros was then on the internet at about 2 euros, so it tasted like nail polish remover. That's Kevin hate comment just to pay attention to what you're doing Can expect bad food.

Yesterday was definitely our last order, the pizza dough was way too thick, covered in cheese, soggy and soggy and that's the case with almost every pizza. Sorry, the rest may all be true, but you just can't do pizza.

Very cheap prices. There is a deduction for having to tell the staff first that the plates can be cleared away. Even the next day you know where you were. The clothes smell intensely of a pizzeria. We ordered from the Pizzeria Valentino in Nettetal Kaldenkirchen via Lieferando and unfortunately accidentally chose pickup instead of delivery. After about 40 minutes we called to ask about the status of our order. We were kindly informed that we had ordered a collection. When we asked if it would be possible to deliver the food, the pizzeria team immediately offered to re-prepare our food and deliver it free of charge as it had already been sitting for a while. They wanted to ensure that we only received fresh and high quality food. This willingness to provide service and the high level of quality awareness really impressed us! The food was also excellent and we will definitely order again. Many thanks to the Valentino team for this great service!

Die Atmosphäre des Restaurants ist sehr schön, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und es ist überall sehr sauber. Die Toiletten sind besser als die eines 5-Sterne-Hotels. Das Essen schmeckt auch sehr lecker 😋 Ich kann es auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Stopped in on a recommendation and I have to say, I haven't had such a good pizza bolo for a long time! The dough is also top notch! By the way, our waitress agreed to the photo. There is a small covered outdoor area as well as a few tables inside. Absolute recommendation!

Die Qualität und der Geschmack sind durchweg hervorragend und haben unsere Gruppe von sechs Personen vollkommen begeistert. Aber das Essen ist nur der Anfang. I have been a regular guest at this restaurant for years and the quality of the food remains consistently excellent. It's a pleasure to always go home with a full belly and sometimes even leftovers, thanks to the friendly option of packing the food. The price-quality ratio is excellent. Although the service is sometimes lacking, there is clearly an effort being made. The restaurant is cozy, but please note that it may not be suitable for large groups. Personally, I have never experienced that there was no space. Moreover, the restaurant is always spotless and tidy. In short, a place where I would like to keep coming back!

We regularly order from work, so it's always quite a lot. Nevertheless, Valentino always delivers completely, hotly and in the shortest possible time. Food is always delicious, no one ever complained or was dissatisfied. We can all recommend Valentino and are happy to order there again and again!

Das Pizza und Die Nudeln sind einfach mehr als köstlich.

Pizza Frutti ist spartanisch mit Mehresfrüchten bestückt und zuviel Öl. Pizza war auch in der Mitte wässerich. Ich glaube nicht, dass ich diesen Laden nochmal besuchen werde.

Klein restaurantje. Pizza's en pastas worden voornamelijk afgehaald of bezorgd. Daarnaast een aantal tafeltjes, reserveren is wel handig als je zeker wilt zijn van een plek. De gerechten zijn niet allemaal echt typisch Italiaans, maar hebben een goede smaak. Porties zijn royaal.

Normaal altijd tevreden over de service en eten, maar wilde net telefonisch bestellen en werd opeens opgehangen zonder enig excuus omdat “ik niet te verstaan was”, maar wel mijn halve bestelling is opgenomen. Asociale meid had ook eerst een poging in het engels mogen wagen als mijn Duits niet zo goed was. Zoveel Nederlandse klanten, maar zelf geen woord Nederlands kunnen spreken of begrijpen, maar wel van ons verwachten dat wij Duits perfect kunnen.
