Wer das Wochenende in Potsdam verbringt und nach einem guten Italiener sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das Al Dente in Alt Nowawes besteht bereits seit über 10 Jahren und hält das hohe Niveau sichtlich. 🍝 Essen & Auswahl: Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und sehr fein zubereitet. Die typischen italienischen Klassiker überzeugen geschmacklich absolut. Die Auswahl für Vegetarier ist solide, auch wenn die Karte in diesem Bereich eher traditionell aufgestellt ist. 🙋🏻‍♀️ Service & Atmosphäre: Der Service war hervorragend – sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Dazu kommt eine wirklich schöne, einladende Atmosphäre im Restaurant, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt. 💳 Praktische Infos: Kartenzahlung (EC-Karte) ist problemlos möglich. Parkplätze sind vor Ort vorhanden. Ein rundum gelungener Restaurantbesuch mit toller Küche und sehr gutem Service. Wer in Potsdam gut italienisch essen möchte, macht hier definitiv nichts falsch.

Die Atmosphäre war ruhiger als in den Potsdamer Hauptstraßen. Ich hatte Trüffel-Tagliolini (mit Pilzen) und Tiramisu (alkoholfrei). Beides war hervorragend. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein toller Ort für ein entspanntes Essen. Ich habe den Aufenthalt insgesamt sehr genossen.

Ich war nach langer Zeit wieder im Al Dente, bei Mario und seinem Team. Als erstes fühlt man sich schon mal wohl, wenn man mit der Frage „Wo warst Du so lange, bist Du weggezogen aus Potsdam?“ begrüßt wird. Hier ist man kein Gast, hier gehört man zur Familie. Ich hatte heute aus der Kategorie Frische Pasta, die gefüllten Gnocchi mit Käse in Trüffelsauce und meine Mama lecker Penne mit Brokkoli in leichter Sauce (Nr. 35). Dazu mittags eine Weinschorle. Es war wieder ein Traum, sehr lecker. Ein lieben Gruß an die Küche: 10 von 10 Punkten. Ich komme alsbald wieder und freue mich auf Mario und das gesamte Team.

Meine Frau war vor ca.10Jahren dort mehrmals zu Besuch und schwärmte davon, das Lokal gibt es immer noch mit dem gleichen Besitzer, das spricht für sich. Vor unserem Besuch in Potsdam reservierte ich einen Tisch und was soll ich sagen, es war Spitze! Absolut aufmerksames und freundliches Personal, das Essen war Top (gegrillte Dorade, Vorspeise, Nachtisch etc.pp, ), landestypische Italienische Weine, gepaart mit dem Humor der Bedienung und des Inhabers, es fehlte an nichts! Ich würde behaupten, das „Stammgäste“ genau das zu schätzen wissen!

Das Essen war einigermaßen. Zu teuer. Fragt nach, was es kostet. Preise werden nicht überall ausgewiesen. Gehe nicht mehr hin.

Wir waren dort, um den Geburtstag meines Neffen zu feiern, und es herrschte nicht nur eine fantastische Atmosphäre, sondern auch ein hervorragender Service und köstliches Essen! Wir können es wärmstens empfehlen. Es ist wirklich eines der besten italienischen Restaurants, in denen ich je war.

Wir waren an einem Samstagmittag hier. Da nicht viel los war, war es angenehm ruhig. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider konnte das Essen nicht überzeugen: Ich hatte die vegetarische Pizza, die nur lauwarm serviert wurde. Während der Teig schnell auskühlt, hätte zumindest das Gemüse heißer sein müssen. Der Teig war zudem sehr weich und geschmacklich eher enttäuschend; das Gemüse für meinen Geschmack deutlich zu weich gekocht. Für einen Preis von 14 € habe ich hier deutlich mehr erwartet. Im Vergleich zu anderen vegetarischen Pizzen war diese leider die schwächste, die ich bisher hatte. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis beim Essen hat für mich leider nicht gestimmt.

War lecker, nette Bedienung, gute Stimmung. Ist vielleicht ein bisschen Laut, aber das gehört dazu und hat uns nicht gestört. Ich empfehle das Tagesmenü.

Tolles, gemütliches italienisches Restaurant.

Es ist eine sehr gute Restaurant, Ambiente , Personal super. Parkplätze leider zu wenig.

Wir wollten einen netten Abend mit guten Freunden verbringen. Wir hatten uns diese Gaststätte ausgesucht. Ich muss folgende Kritikpunkte hervorheben: 1. Die Bedienung auf den ersten Blick sehr beflissen und aufmerksam, entwickelt sich im Nachhinein zu schon lästigen Unterbrechungen der Tischgespräche. 2. Die Tischbestellungen waren nur im zwei Stunden-Rhythmus möglich, das heißt wir mussten unter von uns akzeptiertem "Zeitdruck" essen. Was auf den ersten Blick verständlich ist, aber bereits dreißig Minuten vor Ablauf der Zeit wurde man bedrängelt! Dabei wurde dann auch das Gaststättenkonzept klar, warum das Personal so lästig, um ein herumschwirrte und ständig unsere Gespräche unterbrach. 3. Das Restaurant ist sehr eng gestellt. Man kann sich nur mühevoll sich zwischen den Tischreigen bewegen. Dazu ist man auch sehr vom Lautstärkepegel seiner Nachbarn abhängig. 4. Das Essen qualitativ durchschnittlich, was in Potsdam ja sehr häufig ist. Aber letztlich spürte man das. Gesamtproblem vom Zeitmanagement, das man möglichst viel Umsatz machen wollte auf Kosten des Erlebniswertes. Es war letztlich Abfertigung. 5. Vom Stil her ein Nogo das man bereits abräumt während andere am Tisch noch sitzen und essen. Das ist unterste Stufe. Fazit: Es war ein einmaliger Restaurantbesuch, der nicht wiederholt werden muss. Vielleicht haben wir Punkte übersehen, warum das Restaurant. auch so voll ist und das es vielleicht berechtigt voll ist. Für uns war es eher unangenehm. Auch das gestelzte Herumgehen des Besitzers it sehr unfreundlichem Blick, zwischen den Tischreihen, einfach einen ticken zu oft.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, das Restaurant Al Dente in Potsdam zu besuchen und war restlos begeistert. Schon beim Betreten empfing mich eine freundliche Atmosphäre. Das Essen war einfach perfekt – Pasta, Fisch, exzellenter Wein, Espresso und zum Abschluss Grappa. Der Service war schnell, professionell und stets freundlich. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und kann das Restaurant allen Liebhabern der italienischen Küche wärmstens empfehlen!

Hier wird man sehr freundlich vom Personal begrüßt. Der Tisch war sehr ansprechend eingedeckt und die Servietten waren aus Stoff 👍🥰. Es wurden Empfehlungen von Speisen, die nicht auf der Karte standen, ausgesprochen. Auch eine Calzone, die nicht auf der Karte stand, war kein Problem diese zu bestellen. Alle Speisen waren optisch und geschmacklich sehr lecker und heiß serviert. Die Getränke waren so wie diese sein sollten, kalte Getränke herrlich kühl und meine Latte Kaffe heiß 🔥. Wir haben uns rundum sehr wohl gefühlt. Selbst der Geschäftsführer kam an unserem Tisch und wünschte einen angenehmen Aufenthalt & Guten Appetit. ☺️👍 Hier ist der Gast König und wir werden sehr gerne wieder kommen.🌹

Durch Google sind wir auf das Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Und wurden , wie viele andere Kunden auch positiv überrascht. Das Restaurant bietet durch seine Größe eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und die Mitarbeiter sind super professionell, dabei noch äußerst freundlich und nie wirkt etwas aufgesetzt oder für den Kunden unangenehm. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft und macht Lust auf mehr. Last but not least, ein dickes Lob an den Chef. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. 🎊🎉

Alles rundum perfekt, das Essen grandios, selbst gemachte Pasta mit Trüffel und Rinderfilet habe ich bestellt. Die Pasta wurde vorab in Käse gewälzt und der Trüffel wurde frisch darüber gerieben. Man konnte direkt dabei zuschauen. Mein Mann hatte sich eine Pizza ausgesucht,wollte sie aber gern als Calzone haben. Das war gar kein Problem und wurde sofort so umgesetzt. Die Mitarbeiter waren so aufmerksam, es gab eine Weinempfehlung, sie haben uns die Türen aufgehalten, meinem Mann, der im Rollstuhl sitzt,Hilfe bei der einen Stufe angeboten und waren sehr präsent bei uns am Tisch. Das Ambiente ist super. Sehr große Empfehlung.

Dieses Restaurant war ein Zufallstreffer an einem anstrengenden Tag nach einem Ausstellungsbesuch. Wir lernten den Patron, einen italienischsprachigen Schweizer kennen, der sehr auf die Qualität der Zutaten achtet. Ich möchte insbesondere die hausgemachten Tagliolini hervorheben, die nirgendwo besser schmecken als bei ihm. Schon oft habe ich sie im Parmesanlaib angerichtet, verzehrt, aber die Balance war hier vollkommen. Ich weiß nicht, wie er außerhalb der Saison so gute Pilze findet, jedenfalls schmecken sie kaum schlechter als in der Saison. Wir kommen wieder.

Ein großartiges Lokal! Das Essen ist fantastisch, die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und alles ist sauber. Kurz gesagt: absolut empfehlenswert.

The best Italian restaurant in Potsdam. It's always quite busy here, so a reservation is recommended and well worth it. The food, no matter what you choose, is always very tasty and truly excellent. Update end of September 2021: We ate here again and weren't disappointed. The mixed appetizer platter for four people was plentiful and came with a large pizza bread. The main courses were good and delicious as always, and the portions are generous. To finish, you get a complimentary schnapps or espresso. Admittedly, the prices have gone up a bit here, as everywhere, but it's worth it. Update December 2025: We were here for dinner to celebrate a colleague's anniversary. Although we had a reservation, we had to wait a while. The owner, Mario, served us five "girls" a glass of Prosecco or sparkling wine each. In any case, the drinks were nicely chilled. After some time, we were given a table. The service was truly excellent, and the food was very good. The tomato soup looked delicious 👍, as did the other dishes that my colleagues ordered and received. The spaghetti carbonara was yum, really. You're still the best Italian restaurant in Potsdam.

We were there on Saturday evening and it was packed, so it was very noisy. But otherwise, the food was excellent and the service was great too.

Al Dente provided the catering for our school enrollment party—and what can I say: It was fantastic! Everyone loved it, from the salad to the main course (soul food lasagna) to the dessert. Incredibly friendly, engaging, and uncomplicated. We'd be happy to go back anytime.

A great find for Italian food in Potsdam. A few blocks from Sanssouci Palace in a residential neighborhood, the restaurant seemed to be more local than touristy. The food and service were both excellent and so was the price. If I lived in Potsdam it would be one of my “go-to” restaurants. Helpful Hint: Enjoy your time at Sanssouci and then treat yourself to a lovely meal at Al Dente.

I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to this restaurant. As soon as you enter, you feel like you're in a small trattoria in Italy – warm, stylish, and cozy. The food was simply excellent: the pasta was homemade and cooked to perfection. The service was attentive, friendly, and very competent – you can tell that the people here are truly passionate about Italian cuisine. The wine list was also excellently balanced, with many high-quality Italian wines. I will definitely be back. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Italian food at a high level!

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and I'm still absolutely thrilled. I haven't had such good truffle linguini in a long time, and the wine was excellent. I sat outside, so I can't say much about the interior. I would definitely go back to Al dente if I'm in Potsdam.

I had the homemade tagliatelle with truffle – a dream! The antipasti were also fresh and perfectly balanced in flavor. To finish off, a light and creamy tiramisu – simply divine. I would particularly like to emphasize the quality of the ingredients and the authentic preparation – you can simply taste the passion that goes into the cooking here. The value for money is also top-notch. I'll definitely be back – I highly recommend it!

Since I'm still looking for a good Italian restaurant in Potsdam and have heard from several people how great Trattoria Al Dente is, I tried the place last week. It's definitely popular, because every time I walk past, all the outside seats are taken, and I probably wouldn't have been able to go without a reservation. But you can also sit outside, which is really nice. There are also plenty of seats. I can't really say what it looks like inside. The menu includes most of the classics you'd expect at an Italian restaurant. The focus is on pizza and pasta, but there are also a few meat dishes and salads, but nothing really that you wouldn't find elsewhere. As usual, there's a small selection of vegetarian dishes, although for my taste, it could be a bit larger. They do have a few alternatives, but these are usually the absolute basics. It's a shame that this pizza with arugula, porcini mushrooms, and sour cream was no longer on the menu. So I went with a simple Quattro Formaggi. But before that, I had a little "greeting from the kitchen" with some olives and pepperoni. And I have to say: they were damn good olives. The pepperoni was also very pleasant with its slight spiciness. The pizza was also great. Nice and thin and crispy, and above all, the mozzarella and Gorgonzola went together perfectly. It was exactly my taste and was also quite large. For dessert, I tried something new and had Fichi Flambe – hot figs with vanilla ice cream and cream. It would probably have been really cool if the figs had been flambéed in cognac or brandy, which unfortunately wasn't the case here. This made them a bit watery on their own and, unfortunately, lukewarm. The green pepper in it didn't really add anything to the dish, in my opinion, but rather provided a somewhat odd contrast. But since the combination of ice cream and fruit is generally always delicious, it still tasted quite good. To finish, we had a spirit of our choice on the house – I opted for grappa. The service was adequate, but a bit cold, I found. Prices are definitely on the higher end, and the quality is generally high enough to justify it. The ingredients seem very fresh, and the chef seems to know what he's doing. Nevertheless, there were a few drawbacks here and there that prevent me from giving it the highest rating – especially given the price. I'll definitely go again and can generally recommend Al Dente, but it could definitely be better.

One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Despite being very busy, the wait for food was about 30 minutes. The food was delicious and the portions were just right. Al Dente in Babelsberg is an institution. It's always busy, so reservations are recommended for larger groups. Mario and his team are extremely service-oriented and attentive. The food is always excellent, and the kitchen is well-organized. Last but not least, the atmosphere inside is cozy. In summer, you can enjoy the outdoor seating. By the way, as the name suggests, the pasta is truly cooked "al dente."

Our absolute favorite Italian – a must at least once a year! The waiters are incredibly child-friendly: they actively talk to the little ones, take them seriously and are noticeably happy about their visit. What's particularly great is that the child's food comes first so that the parents can enjoy the starter in peace - very attentive! The pasta is really tasty, authentic and fresh. Despite its location on the street, the terrace is cozy and invites you to linger - even when it's full, you feel welcome and well looked after. A place with heart, taste and genuine hospitality.
