Perhaps we just caught them on a bad day, but the waiter was an absolute disaster. Unfriendly and bitchy. When we left some olive oil behind, he took it to the next table, where presumably regulars were sitting, to show them how wasteful we were being with the oil. The waiter's replies were snarky and unfriendly. Such behavior is unacceptable for service staff; personal feelings should be left at home. The food was okay.

A special shoutout to Head Cook Hamid, who truly made our evening memorable with his exceptional cooking skills.and Baniamen waiter was very professional and very excellent by his quick service. We tried the beef steak, stone-cooked pizza, and white sauce pasta, and every dish was cooked to perfection — full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care and passion. Hamid deserves 10 out of 10 for his fantastic work in the kitchen! Highly recommend Piazza Toscana to anyone looking for authentic, high-quality food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The service is very friendly and attentive. However, the waiters are sometimes quick to clear away, and you have to stop them from taking your plate away. Recommended.

We spontaneously dropped in on a Wednesday evening, and the restaurant was quite busy. Nevertheless, the server quickly made an effort to offer us a table for two. The service was friendly and charming, professional, and the pasta was excellent. If we return to Potsdam, we will definitely visit the restaurant again.

A service experience at its finest: Our order was only taken after being asked for. We got a drink, then the waiter disappeared – we had to fight to order more. Bread arrived after the meal, great timing! And when we paid, we were told that our colleague was on a break – so please wait. Unfortunately, this wasn't a slip-up, but apparently standard fare. If you're looking for patience training and comedy service, this is the place for you.

Attention, hands off! We were just there and wanted to pay for our meal with a voucher (voucher gold). The waiter refused to accept the voucher. You shouldn't advertise with vouchers or participate in voucher promotions if you don't accept them in the store!

Nice Italian restaurant just a 5-minute walk from Griebnitzsee S-Bahn station. Cozy interior. Terrace available in summer. Very friendly service. Large pizza, delicious and fresh. Pizzas start at around €13. Meat/fish €22-30. A 0.2-liter glass of wine starts at €7.90.

The pizzas and carbonara were delicious. The ambiance was truly wonderful. Unfortunately, the waiters were busy with everything but the service. Taking orders was relatively quick. The food was also delivered quickly, but then it was a hiatus. They repeatedly tried to get attention after the food arrived because they requested spicy oil. Only after about 10 minutes and almost half the pizza, and after I got up from the table, were we noticed. The same thing happened when paying. It's a shame.

My former bookstore, which in GDR times was located within sight of the Griebnitzsee border station and the former military liaison mission, is transforming into a small and fine Italian temple - by the way, the ice cream parlor across the street is also part of it. The food is great, tastes good, and the owner is a cool Italian. I always come back for food, highly recommended.

Yesterday, we spontaneously went to this restaurant with eight people (we had called in advance). Great service, great food, fresh and delicious—nothing from a can...everyone was on point. The restrooms were clean, and our host even brought out a birthday cake despite the rush of visitors. Definitely recommended. It was a very nice family meal. Thank you.

Apart from the fact that unfortunately, what you asked for is never actually on the pizza (with special pizzas), the food is extremely good. We ordered a vegetable pizza with zucchini, mushrooms, and arugula. It came with potatoes (!), peppers, and zucchini on top... and that's not the first time. It's tasty with a different topping, but it's still a shame if you order something else. I then pointed out that it wasn't what we wanted, and it was explained that it was passed on to the kitchen as it was. Well, what can I say? Poor communication or organization. There was no offer to replace the pizza, but it would have been appropriate. There's also no vegan "cheese," which we very much regret.

I have never eaten such a good pizza, not even in Italy did they have such a good pizza. It's a pity that the shop doesn't have 5 stars. As a trainee, I can't go there all the time, but I can recommend it to everyone. 5/5

The restaurant is located an amazing place firstly. You can enjoy at the terrace while you are having your meal. Grilled Fish was so fresh and I loved the sauce and vegetables with the fish. Since I was dissatisfied with the meat for the second time in a very short period of time, I have to comment. Yesterday I had a rump steak, which was unfortunately completely riddled with tendons. Almost half of it remained on the plate because it was inedible. I would have liked to have reported this, but I wasn't even asked what was wrong. The plate was cleared away without a word. I'm usually used to being asked if I enjoyed it. The same thing happened 2-3 weeks ago. That day I had an entrecôte and the exact same procedure. It's a shame. We actually eat there quite regularly. We'll see if I even try it again ;(

Great Italian in Potsdam, not far from S Babelsberg. The food is very tasty, whether pasta, salads or really good pizza. Service is friendly and quick and the ambience fits the bill. What's particularly good is that you can easily and conveniently order a table online. Conclusion: Always happy!

Outstanding Italian. Were there for lunch. Had a salad with beef fillet tips, which turned out to be perfectly juicy, medium-fried small fillets. Very well prepared with thin breadcrumbs and parmesan etc. A very good portion for lunch. Bread and oil were free for everyone. My colleagues were equally enthusiastic about their courts and their challenges. The service was also great and the food was on the table in under 10 minutes. And there were 9 of us. I can absolutely recommend it. Of course it's a bit pricey, but it's absolutely worth it. And Potsdam is a bit more expensive everywhere for eating out.

Potsdam - The German capital for Italian restaurants The Piazza Toscana not far from the Griebnitzsee S-Bahn station takes guests on a short vacation to Bella Italia! No other city in Germany can boast as many Italian restaurants in such a close distance as Potsdam, but anyone who thinks that there is a one-size-fits-all approach everywhere is far from the mark. The Piazza Toscana also impresses with a modern, creative and seasonal menu. The pasta is homemade and outstandingly good! The pizza tastes great too! My only criticism is the tiramisu... what I expect is soft, espresso-flavored ladyfingers in an egg-mascarpone cream that tastes like either Marsala or at least amaretto. The whole thing is dusted with good, strong cocoa powder. Unfortunately, the tiramisu lacks both the espresso and alcohol flavor, which makes it boring. A big highlight were the gnocci with goat's cream cheese filling, black truffle and parmesan sauce. Great!!! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 A nice evening in a stylish ambience with good food and drink is guaranteed! I only have to deduct a star for the service because I lacked the initiative. You could make more sales if you asked more often at the table whether something was missing or if empty glasses and plates at least caused the waiter to come to the table. I missed that...

Saturday evening, just arrived in Potsdam, hungry and stopped by the Italian restaurant if I was lucky. It's too cold to sit outside and everything inside is very busy. Nevertheless, we were quickly offered a table by the cameraman. One pizza and one spaghetti at its best, with salad and drinks. The food came freshly prepared and was served after just a few minutes. At the end there was a limoncello on the house for a little tip. Grazie mille and compliments to all the squadra.

A piece of Italy on your doorstep – our absolute favorite restaurant! We have been coming here regularly for three to four years and are thrilled every time. The food is simply fantastic - from the excellent pizzas to the gluten-free pasta dishes that are standard here. The changing weekly menu always ensures new moments of enjoyment. Particularly noteworthy is the exceptional service: the waiters are extremely polite, greet their guests personally and always have a few friendly words to say. Wishes are fulfilled promptly and you simply feel completely at home. In summer we like to enjoy the beautiful terrace, and the parking situation is also relaxed - another plus. There is also a great selection of wines and Italian beer. This restaurant offers a real all-round feel-good package. We always enjoy coming back and can only warmly recommend it!

The pizza was great as well—the dough was perfectly soft and had an excellent taste. The restaurant’s high rating is definitely well deserved. It also has a small parking area.
