I don't like writing bad reviews, but unfortunately, the pasta dish with salmon really wasn't worth more than that. I don't know if something went wrong... but it was overly acidic. Far too much citrus juice, otherwise there was no noticeable flavor. No herbs, salt, pepper, or garlic... just lemon. I had to throw it away; they couldn't salvage it. Besides, I like it a bit more savory; the sample picture on wolt doesn't fit at all, and my request for a different type of pasta, like linguine or spaghetti, was also ignored. What a shame.

We discovered this restaurant about three years ago and have been coming here regularly from Bensheim ever since. The stylish ambiance. The three lunch menus, as well as all the other dishes, are a harmonious culinary experience with a high level of quality. Italian cuisine refined with Sardinian dishes. Diversely inspired and very good value for money for Frankfurt city center. Relaxed enjoyment (in summer with a sheltered, covered terrace) with friendly and very attentive service. Special mention should be made of the charming chef, Mr. Piroddi, and the head waiter, Mr. Heiner, who are particularly distinguished by their friendliness and sense of humor. We look forward to every visit.

Our table was completely neglected (we waited too long and we needed to raise our hand several times for the waiter to come), so I chose not to leave a tip. When I left the restaurant first, the waiter rudely confronted my guests that were still inside with inappropriate remarks about where I’m from and why there was no tip. I was there three times. Every time the food was better than anywhere else in Frankfurt. The best rack of lamb of my life! Prices aren't higher than usual in Frankfurt, but the food is 1000x better! A dream! The service also passes every stress test: one of my guests had made a fasting vow and only consumed a glass of water and that for free. Wines also very good.

Waiting 20 minutes until you even get a card, asking if you want fresh pepper, being told yes and then simply never showing up again, etc. These are just things that don't work. Generally, most of the time consisted of waiting and we had our main courses after 2 hours. 4 waiters served us and there was no feeling of responsibility. It was better to re-set the tables for the next day at 11:30 rather than worry about the guests who were still there.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Ristorante Sardegna - you can't describe it as a "visit". Despite making a reservation by telephone two weeks in advance for a group of six people, we were told in the restaurant that evening that our reservation had not been written down. The reason: For larger groups, reservations would have to be made by email, as these could be “lost” by the waiters. Such an explanation is not only weak but also completely unprofessional. What was particularly disappointing was that no effort was made to find a solution or defuse the anger. Instead, they just shrugged their shoulders. The incident was all the more serious because we had traveled from different parts of Germany to meet that evening. Additionally, it was almost impossible to find an alternative on a Saturday evening. Such a reaction and lack of organization is simply unacceptable for a restaurant. I can therefore not recommend Ristorante Sardegna and will definitely avoid it in the future. Here is the revised version with this addition: In addition to the restaurant's answer in the comment: The question arises as to why reservations are accepted by telephone at all if the problem is known and the telephone is not directly referred to via email. Since the mistake was obviously not ours, it would have been desirable to use our contacts with other restaurateurs to find an appropriate option for dinner for our group of six people.

Disappointing We ordered two pizzas, one was cold. The waiter promised to remake it but it was just reheated. As a result, the dough was completely dried out, burnt in some places and so hard that you couldn't eat it. My boyfriend had long since eaten his pizza, so we couldn't eat together. The staff was rude and didn't even apologize. A very disappointing experience.

The food was again excellent (fish in a salt crust), it's a shame that people are obviously saving the drink on the house lately, at almost €100 per nose that certainly wouldn't have been too much to ask

Ajo, I am Sardinian, and I came here because even in Germany I only eat Sardinian dishes. I don't like things that aren't Sardinian ajo. Ajo, I found myself very well, very friendly staff in Ajo, quite well-kept place and very Sardinian food in Ajo. Ajo, if I come back to these parts, I will definitely come to Ajo again.

My favorite shop that I always stop by when I go to Frankfurt. If the weather is nice, the terrace seats are comfortable. The staff speaks English, and there is also a Japanese menu. The famous mullet pasta is a must. The appetizer, octopus carpaccio, is also unique in Japan; it's slightly cooked and thinly sliced ​​to perfection. It's very delicious. A wonderful place for a dinner date

Sardinian cuisine differs in many ways from what is generally perceived as Italian cuisine. For me, Sardegna and Isola Sarda are skilful representatives of original cuisine.

Excellent, especially if, like us, you found it more or less by chance. Very inconspicuous on the outside and initially uninviting due to the location, the positive Google review rightly led us here. Update March 2024: The pasta lunch menu for €25 today was average at best, the starter salad was a few dry leaves of lettuce without any dressing and therefore no taste. Significantly too expensive for this performance. Unfortunately a star deduction.

Encouraged by good reviews, I decided to invite my wife for dinner here. Unfortunately that was a mistake. The waiters welcomed us very coldly and simply showed us our table without any enthusiasm. The menu was also placed on the table without a word and it went on like that the whole evening. The waiter seemed annoyed and arrogant. I have never experienced such service! We didn't like the food, we also told the cellar that and my wife ate less than half the portion. The waiter agreed that it wasn't what we wanted but that was it. No excuse. Unprofessional. Apart from the beautiful ambience and friendly professional service, this restaurant is particularly impressive for its cuisine. The food is fresh, authentic and incredibly delicious. A price-performance ratio that is rarely found in Frankfurt. Quality is lived here and you can taste it. My warmest recommendation for anyone who wants to eat really well.

We were looking for a nice restaurant in the center around 5 p.m. today. Then I remembered this restaurant that I had visited months ago with one of our suppliers. I remembered it being good, but in the end it was more than just good. Today I thought I should go with my girlfriend and test it again and we were both very impressed. We were welcomed very nicely, water and small snacks were quickly brought to the table as usual. However, these snacks were simply incredibly good, sauce, warm, fresh bread, very tasty olives (I haven't experienced anything like that from Italians in a long time. Often the bread is simply inedible and certainly not fresh from the oven). With the water we were also asked to add lemon and mint. I only took the lemon, it's amazing how little things like that make a difference. For the main course I went with the fillet steak with an incredibly good sauce and my girlfriend went with the salmon. Fantastic food, great service and very nice people! We'll definitely be back! Thanks to the team!
