We went there for the first time as part of our visit to the swimming pool. First of all, I've never seen such a strange concept: How can you open a "real" restaurant in a swimming pool? Regarding the content: You are not served at your seat, but only at the counter, swimming pool guests are only allowed to sit on the terrace or in a specially built booth, but not directly in the restaurant. The staff was extremely overwhelmed with the 20-25 guests present and wasn't really friendly either. As I noticed, several guests' orders were simply forgotten, so that they left the restaurant in a huff and there was no apology from the staff. Although we got the food we ordered (for a pretty hefty price, of course), it was carelessly prepared and didn't taste good either. It's a real shame, because as I found out afterwards, Frank Rosin was there. Apparently he wasn't successful. Therefore, absolutely not recommended.

We came across this restaurant by chance and are so glad we spent our evening there. Beautiful view from the terrace and absolutely sensational food and service. The homemade pasta was fantastic and the sauces were incredibly tasty. I have rarely eaten so well. The bruschetta was also just perfect, crispy and fresh. Even though this restaurant may seem a bit unassuming at first glance, I can only say it's one of the best meals we've ever eaten!

Every other swimming pool restaurant tries harder. Went there today with 3 people, ate inside - never again! And I can't even begin to recommend it to anyone. We found a reasonably clean table, the others were simply dirty, with stains and crumbs. I swapped the fork with the firm hair on the tines for a fourth fork on the table itself. The order was taken and the limited offering was pointed out (“we can still scrape together a portion of the tortellini”). The carpaccio brought tears of sadness and anger to my eyes. Taste? Just before tipping over. The dish of the day: “Homemade pasta with chanterelles” Homemade? Yes, made in house, whatever, but probably some time ago. The photo shows the lump - unthinkable in a fresh dish. Chanterelles, there were 3 similar looking things in the mess. Mind you, I criticized all of these points directly - it's just that no one was interested. Oh and since my companion wanted to share the bruschetta, I was immediately told that a separate plate costs €1. Are you crazy???? This is a shop where expectations and reality differ greatly. I don't want to take a look into the kitchen, because the impression of the restaurant's dining room tells enough. Once and NEVER again (the spa itself is great!). If there were 0 points, there would be 2 categories, because here the guest is tolerated with this food and the rest in order to leave his money there, but I clearly deny this person an interest in a kitchen or cooking, maybe that was the case otherwise, today every snack bar would have been a star restaurant!

Unfriendly, expensive, slow, uncomfortable, loveless... and then it doesn't even taste good...

Today, on the way home from our vacation, we drove to Königstein specifically to eat at the Rosmarino restaurant. When we got there, he slammed the door in our faces and rudely said he was closed today without any further explanation. According to the opening times, it is actually open all day on Tuesdays. We were very annoyed and will definitely not come again.

The most delicious food in the world. We and our three children love it here. The plates are always cleaned empty! The boss is a soul of a human being! It exudes Italian flair in a very special way! Absolutely recommended! 😃

The best pasta, best schnitzel and best dessert.

The food was good and the view was fantastic, but I only give it one star. The operator is obviously overwhelmed and frustrated and is shamelessly letting his guests know. I knew that the operator likes to close earlier if there are no more guests after 8 p.m. So I called after checking the online menu on the website and made a reservation for 8:30 p.m. It worked well, the food was delicious and so was the atmosphere on the terrace. What came next was the bottom of the barrel. The bill was about 20% higher than the online menu suggested. The operator's justification was that he had not updated it due to a lack of time. I calmly and matter-of-factly stated that I placed the order over the phone and - believing that the menu was up to date - referred to the prices on the online menu. After he demanded his price in a sharp tone and I said no, he suddenly started cursing in Italian and finally he insulted me in German. Unbelievable. I remained unimpressed and paid the price shown online. Bye and never see you again.

I really don't understand some of the reviews here! Were there today after the swimming pool with 2 adults and 3 children, sunny terrace with dream weather and a dream view! The boss was super friendly, witty, funny and the food was simply excellent! The spaghetti siciliana, simply a dream, and the homemade tiramisu (and ice cream for the kids) were a very successful conclusion! We'll definitely be back soon, even without a visit to the swimming pool!

The view is great, but the food is unimaginative, small portions, and there is no service. The owner himself hangs around in the kitchen and is also very grumpy. Loading had potential.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed on July 28th, 2024 with our children and wanted to eat and drink something and were told during normal opening hours that it was stressful and can't do anything anymore. You should then think about whether this is a good job. In the future we will bring our food yourself with

Loveless, quick-made food. Poor price-performance ratio.

My experience at this restaurant was very upsetting. The old man who worked there was extremely rude. At first he did not bring us menus. I had to get up from the table to go to him to order our food. When we received our food, he did not offer us drinks. I also had to go to him to pay. He did not like it when I questioned him about the bill, then he had to admit that he overcharged me by €2.50. He told me that it’s my fault that he charged me extra money! Also, the water comes in the glasses already filled. When I questioned him about it, he told me that that is how he sells it and I must accept it and pay for it. So rude, I will never go back to that place again!!

Excellent and always freshly prepared Italian food! Antonio runs the store alone and does it with a lot of charm and good humor! And he loves children too! When there's more going on, you sometimes have to wait, but we're always happy to accept that. There is nothing on the menu that was not to our complete satisfaction. The restaurant was a bit difficult to find because it is on the second floor of a swimming pool, but the atmosphere is really unique. We've been there several times now and will definitely be back! Thanks to Antonio, we had a lot of laughs when we ordered, the pasta tasted very good. Definitely recommendable!

Antonio runs the store as a one-man show with a lot of humor and warmth. The pasta and desserts in particular are homemade on site and very tasty! You have a view of the swimming pool and Königstein Castle and you can also sit outside in summer. If you take your visit with (Italian) calm, you will have a lovely evening and it is definitely recommended.

Had dinner there today after visiting the swimming pool. Unfortunately I don't understand the good reviews. We were served super friendly, but that was it. Schnitzel small, thin, made from pressboard and then from the deep fryer. An additional charge of €2 was charged for potatoes instead of fries. Currywurst with fries was so spicy, my son could only eat the fries. Portion of lasagna was tasteless and also extremely tiny. All in all, for over €60 you can at least expect some quality even in this day and age. Unfortunately that was nothing...

In one word: loveless. After watching the show with Frank Rosin, we finally tried the Rosmarino in January 2024. I was hoping for a hidden champion, that this shop would be more than just a swimming pool restaurant. Unfortunately without success. The restaurant was almost empty. The 2 portions of homemade pasta came very quickly in under 5 minutes and were extremely hot. The two previous Cokes took significantly longer. The taste of the homemade pasta was ok, the sauce was absolutely boring and bland. The whole thing for no less than €13 each. So if you want to have a coffee while visiting the swimming pool, you're well advised here. But there are much better Italian restaurants in Königstein. There are also parking fees, as you are not allowed to use the reduced rate for bathers.

Ich wollte unbedingt mal hier essen weil ich die Folge von Rosins Restaurants gesehen habe und heute haben wir’s endlich mal geschafft. Der Inhaber ist sooo freundlich und mega kinderlieb! Mir hat das Herz geblutet, dass wir die einzigen Gäste an einem Samstagabend waren. Er war ganz alleine, hat alles alleine gemacht. Und das sollte man nicht kritisieren, wie meine Vorredner, sondern bedauern! Woher Personal??? Und wenn Personal, wie bezahlen??? Da ich selbst ein Restaurant hatte, kenne ich mich in der Branche mit allen Facetten bestens aus! Wir haben freiwillig geschlossen, sind raus aus der Gastronomie! Ich müsste mehr dort essen um ein ehrliches Fazit bzgl. des Essens abgeben zu können. Mein Essen, überbackene Zucchini mit Hackfleisch gefüllt und Nudeln dazu, war lecker. Mir hat die Art des Anrichtens nicht gefallen, insbesondere bei der Vorspeise. Ehrlicherweise muss ich sagen, dass ich mir viel mehr versprochen habe, im Bezug auf das Essen und schon etwas enttäuscht war. Aber vielleicht haben wir einfach das falsche gegessen und auch nicht genug ausprobiert. Dieser Mann ist so lieb, dass ich alleine wegen ihm wiederkommen würde! Mich hat der Besuch einfach traurig gemacht.

Das Restaurant Rosmarino überzeugt nicht nur durch seine gemütliche Atmosphäre, sondern auch durch die ausgesprochene Freundlichkeit des Personals. Die Mitarbeiter sind stets aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, was den Besuch besonders angenehm macht. Rosmarino ist mein absolutes Lieblingslokal, und ich kann es nicht genug empfehlen. Die Mitarbeiter sind nicht nur außerordentlich freundlich, sondern schaffen auch eine herzliche Atmosphäre, die den Besuch zu einem echten Genuss macht. Die hausgemachte Pasta ist einfach köstlich und hebt das kulinarische Erlebnis auf ein neues Niveau. Was mich besonders begeistert, ist die kontinuierliche Innovation in den Speiseangeboten – immer wieder gibt es neue, verlockende kulinarische Kreationen, die meine Geschmacksknospen verwöhnen. Rosmarino ist mehr als ein Restaurant; es ist eine gastronomische Entdeckungsreise, die ich immer wieder gerne antrete.

Super lecker und sehr freundlich

Einzigartiges Ambiente. Auf der Terrasse schaut man direkt auf die Burg von Königstein und die Berge des Taunus. Wo hat man so etwas schon? Der Chef Antonio versprüht seinen humorvollen italienischen Charme, so dass man einfach gerne wieder kommt :) Auch die mit Liebe und von Hand gemachte Pasta kann ich wärmstens empfehlen. Ein Hochgenuss. Selten so lecker gegessen und die Preise sind auch völlig in Ordnung. Das Restaurant ist unabhängig vom Kurbad über eine Außentreppe und einen innengelegenen Fahrstuhl erreichbar, der barrierefrei zugänglich ist. Vor dem Kurbad gibt es Parkplätze (1€/Std), so dass man nicht lange suchen muss. Perfekt. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder und finde man muss einfach mal dagewesen sein :)

Hinter "Ristorante" vermutet man gemeinhin mehr als man hier in Wirklichkeit bekommt. Eins vorweg, Pizza bekommt man hier gar nicht, obwohl das vllt bei vielen der Favourit neben einer Portion Pommes wäre. Die Menue-Karte wirkt aufgeräumt, fast schon ein wenig karg. Es gibt auch Gerichte die man bei einem Italiener nicht vermutet, wie zbsp Hamburger mit Pommes. Pasta hingegen ist zwar auch vorhanden, aber man hat da kaum Auswahl. Also den Klassiker in Deutschland bestellt : Spaghetti Bolognese ( gibt es übrigens in Italien nicht ). Was kommt ist ein kleiner Teller mit gerade 120Gramm Spaghetti. Der dazu gereichte Parmesan ist auch sehr sparsam portioniert. Das ganze kostet dann 7.90€ !!! Eigentlich eine Frechheit. Für 7.90€ müssten mindestens 200Gramm auf dem Teller landen. Immerhin wollen auch Erwachsene satt werden und nicht nur Kinder. Fazit: Geschmacklich waren die Spaghetti ganz OK, aber effektiv zu wenig! Wiederkommen!?....ungern!!!

Antonio alleine wegen dir aus Bad Homburg gekommen,Essen war sehr lecker,Nachtisch auch sehr lecker und auch für das Auge, wir kommen wieder.

Bester Italiener in der Stadt! Sehr leckere handgemachte frische Pasta. Ein unglaublicher freundlicher Koch und sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Gutes Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis. Sehr zu empfehlen!!

Meine Frau hat das Lokal bei Rosin gesehen. Da sie PastaFan ist, habe ich sie gerne mal dorthin eingeladen. Was ich sehr schade fand, war das meine schriftliche Reservierunganfrage zwei Tage vorher, bis heute nicht beantwortet ist. Wenn man keine Mails liest oder beantwortet, sollte man keine entsprechende Möglichkeit auf der Website anbieten. Nettes Lokal, und sehr nette Mitarbeiter*innen. Der Chef ist ein Original. Preise voll in Ordnung und eher günstig. Für mich als nicht so der PastaFan war die Speisenauswahl in der Restaurantkarte doch eher beschränkt. Die bis 18 Uhr gültige Imbisskarte ist umfangreich bestückt, aber ich wollte ja kein Imbiss. Das Saltimbocca alla Romana war OK, aber leider nicht wirklich ein Highlight. Die Pasta sah lecker aus und waren wohl auch sehr lecker. Vielleicht die eine oder andere Pizzavariation wäre schön. Ansonsten haben sich seit Rosins Besuch einige Deko-Sünden eingeschlichen, die mir ins Auge gestochen sind. Die Farbwechsellampen gehen gar nicht. Die unprofessionelle Abdeckung der Deckenlampen und die lieblose beschrifteteten Reservierungsschilder. Ich weiß nicht ob ich die Strecke von 50 km noch mal fahren werde.

Wir waren heute Nachmittag im Rosmarino und der extrem sympathische Eindruck, den Antonio bei Rosin gemacht hat, hat sich hier absolut bestätigt. Nebenbei habe ich die wohl besten Ravioli meines Lebens gegessen. Zum Schwimmbadblick muss ich sagen, dass ich dies so skurril finde, dass es schon wieder absolut unterhaltsam ist. Wer damit ein Problem hat, kann z.B. einen Platz wählen auf der wirklich repräsentativen Terrasse. Da ich nicht in Königstein oder Umgebung wohne, werde ich weiterhin leider nur kommen können, wenn unsere Hunde einen Zwangsaufenthalt in der Tierklinik Hofheim (übrigens ebenso empfehlenswert 😊, aber andere Zielgruppe) zu absolvieren haben oder ich zufällig in der Gegend bin. Ich kann aber auf jeden Fall versichern, dass, wenn ich näher wohnhaft wäre, das Rosmarino wohl gute Chancen hätte mein Stammlokal zu sein. Also liebe Königsteiner, unterstützt Antonio, da er eine wirkliche gastronomische Perle betreibt und nebenbei echt sympathisch ist.

Waren gestern im Rosmarino essen, wirklich etwas ganz Besonderes! Die hausgemachte Pasta ist ein Traum, der Service sehr freundlich, humorvoll und zuvorkommend. Antonio, der Inhaber und Koch, kommt dazu persönlich aus der Küche und bringt das Essen - hier fühlt man sich als Gast geschätzt und gesehen. Das Ambiente mit Blick ins Schwimmbad ist auch einzigartig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! Glatte 5 Sterne :)

Mein Abi Frank war vor Ort und hat dem Chefe geholfen. Ich war zwar noch nie da essen aber falls ich mal in der Nähe bin, Komme ich sofort !!! Danke an Frank Abi 🫵🏼

Antonio, ein einmaliger Gastgeber! Super sympathisch als Mensch und mindestens genauso gut als Koch! Pasta und Saltimbocca ein Traum! Limoncello bzw. Das hausgemachte „Fahrradkettenöl“ besser als in Italien 🤌 Anreise aus Frankfurt lohnt sich definitiv! Grazie per tutti !

Super Restaurant, auf dem ersten Blick denkt man sich im Schwimmbad? Aber lasst euch nicht täuschen vom äußeren das Innere ist super Gemütlich Originale cuicina italiana. Was man heutzutage nicht überall findet HAUSGEMACHTE HAND MADE PASTA! das einzige was ich mir in Zukunft wünschen würde sind etwas größere Portionen. Aber das Erlebniss gleicht alles aus Wundervoller Ausblick, Wundervolle Küche , super freundliches originelles italienisches Personal. Deshalb 5/5 Sternen. Weiter so Rosmarino!
