Ristorante Pizzeria Roma- Centro in Oberstaufen

The food was really good here, we ate two pizzas and one of them was a calzone. The restaurant is upstairs and a little old and dark. But food is recommended

We ordered two pizzas here to pick up at 6:30 p.m. When I wanted to pick up the pizzas shortly before the time I ordered, they were freshly taken out of the oven. The two pizzas were very well topped and were almost perfectly tempered even at home. When we're in the area again we'll definitely get a pizza here again.

The service was very bad, our order was taken in one tone (there were 8 people) and every time it was said in one tone “Next “next” that was really bad and unfriendly, then the food came, the pizza was ok, there were no pasta through and the meat wasn't seasoned, when it came to paying then the big thing happened, we were two families and wanted to pay separately, but we weren't asked beforehand, as we know from other restaurants, then the waiter came with the bill We said we would pay separately, he laid the bill on the table for us and said can you calculate it, what an outrageous thing, and left. When he came back after a quarter of an hour, we had calculated it and put it on the table in the correct way, then it happened still complained, why no tip? How come ? Because the service was absolutely not good!! Never again !!

Pizza was okay, but nothing more. Biscuit edge, very thin overall. The ambience was a bit dusty and cold. Very loud on Saturday evening. Service was okay.

Idiosyncratic allocation of space. Basically all tables are occupied. We wanted to sit in the front, comfortable part, but were refused on the grounds that all the tables were reserved, even though no one else came. You don't feel good about it.

Unfortunately the service was understaffed on a Saturday evening. A lot of things would have been okay if people had “talked” to us. Drinks taken incorrectly, starter came after about 20 minutes. The main course was still not served after an hour - counting from the starter - after asking twice. In the end we left and spoke directly to the restaurant manager. The two stars are there because he was insightful and explained that they had a group on site. In addition, we didn't have to pay anything. We thank you for that. The starter was delicious… the pizzas looked good too…. Maybe let's go there again. Planning is half the battle.

Fantastic restaurant, I can highly recommend it. You felt like you were in good hands and the pizza was phenomenally tasty. What was very special was that the chefs also asked whether we liked it - an absolute rarity! You can tell how the restaurant is run with passion. The only important thing is: reserve early

Four of us had dinner at Roma and everyone was absolutely thrilled. We were welcomed by the very friendly and funny boss Nico and sat in a lovely atmosphere. Even though the restaurant was full, the noise level was surprisingly low, the service was very friendly and we got our incredibly delicious food on the table quickly. Unfortunately we were only at the Roma on the last day of our stay, otherwise we would certainly have stopped there more often. We can only warmly recommend the Ristorante. A little tip: after reading the criticism here about the long wait, we booked our table a little earlier and therefore didn't have to wait.

Went to Roma with several people over the holiday weekend, it was horrible, first the boss came and announced that there were no pasta dishes because a chef was probably unavailable. Then we waited 20 minutes for drinks and 45 minutes for the inevitable pizza, which was good .Still no condition. Will avoid this restaurant in the future.

We went to this Italian restaurant three times during our vacation. We ate salad (Roma), pizza (Tonno and Regina) and tortellini with mushrooms, ham...) and it was all super tasty. As a starter we had the pizza bread bianco, which was also delicious. We were lucky to always get a seat without a reservation. If you want to mention something negative, it might be that it can get louder at times. If you are looking for a romantic atmosphere by candlelight, this is definitely not the right place for you, otherwise we recommend it. Conclusion: Gladly again when we are in Oberstaufen. Deserved 5 stars!

Good pizza. Due to the large number of seats, it has more of a train station atmosphere.

The atmosphere was okay, the service was good and the food was also okay, but it didn't blow me away. I ordered a Pizza Salmone 🍣 and I expected a pizza with smoked salmon like in Italy, which was not what it was, not even in terms of taste.

I've been there a few times. This time the service was totally overwhelmed. I left after 45 minutes because I didn't get anything to drink or any other attention. Saying I'll be with you as you walk past wasn't helpful. It was very busy and on previous visits I was satisfied. Hence this “mixed” rating

Couldn't reach anyone on the phone, drove there and found the staff in a bad mood. We were sent away again with two children because no reservations were made (there were free tables!) -> no one could be reached by phone. When I asked if I could take pizza with me, I was rudely refused.

Excellent restaurant, the pizzas and fish dishes are second to none. The ambience can be described as relaxed and cozy. However, the toilet should be restored or avoided if possible. The service does a very good job and does its best to fulfill all requests as quickly as possible. If you definitely want a seat, you should consider making a reservation as the restaurant is busy.

We went there for dinner for my birthday. We all had pizza and were all thrilled, the base was super crispy, fresh ingredients and lavish toppings. The tiramisu is homemade, super delicious. The boss and his team were extremely friendly and accommodating. Best pizzeria in Oberstaufen.

I ordered zander fillet - unfortunately it was inedible, as were the potatoes that were served as a side dish. I had to throw up right in the restaurant. All around - not a good experience. Despite Keller's knowledge of the event, an attempt was made to charge the court.

Rarely have I seen such a terrible, dingy, old atmosphere. Even the staircase is bad. This was topped by the extraordinarily unfriendly way they told us that there was no table available. In retrospect we were happy because we ate very well with the Italian competition. Actually, this restaurant should be assessed with regard to fire protection. If something happens up there, no one will come out.

The food was really good. Large portions and very tasty. Unfortunately we waited 1.5 hours for the food and then another 40 minutes for the bill, which was simply not given even after repeated requests. We finally went to the counter to pay. Anyone who has children knows that all the waiting can get really tiring... To be honest, we would have hoped for at least a small compensation (a coffee or drink on the house), but unfortunately there was nothing... The staff is completely overwhelmed, so that the visit to the restaurant unfortunately doesn't have very positive memories. Really a shame! So bring plenty of time if you want to eat here!

We ordered take-away, we were assured by phone that the food would be ready in 20 minutes, when we arrived we were allowed to wait another 20 minutes, but this doesn't seem to be an isolated case, there were two other people on site waiting for their food . The restaurant looks small from the outside, but inside it extends over three spacious, separate rooms. The furniture is a bit old. Unfortunately the service was disappointing. We had to wait a long time until we were assigned a table. There was only one server available for three full rooms, who took all the orders and served the food. Another service person who only served drinks hardly spoke any German and was therefore unfortunately unable to take orders. Despite waiting for an hour, the pizza was delicious. The dough was crispy and the topping was tasty. The three stars result from the poor service and the long waiting time

Waited over 1.5 hours for the food… Service was average, the drinks lady couldn't speak German, the older waiter was very friendly and apologized for the long wait. The pizzas are made with love, you can tell. Praise to the pizza maker. Still only two stars because the waiting time is not okay at all.

We won't visit this pizzeria again! First of all, the positive: the pizzas are good. The negative in brief: very long waiting time, although it was to be expected for around 200 people, 2 waitresses and an Italian waiter who blatantly lies to us! After we asked for the boss, he apparently wasn't there anymore! He only came towards us when we were walking. Absolute impudence. Here the guest is not king!

Saturday evening 7 p.m. and the place is full. Very professional, food went quickly and very well despite the alleged staff absence 👍! You can't see from the outside what a gem lies here... Definitely a visit...so I'll definitely be back. Greetings Fronck.

Delicious pizza and pasta, friendly staff

With 4.5 stars from the reviews, I actually expected it to be at least a good Italian restaurant, but expectations and reality didn't match. Ambience zero, was seated at the first table at the entrance, next to the pizza baking station, when the restaurant was almost empty. I ordered spaghetti carbonara and it was grade 2.5. Spezi was added as a drink and then told me that they were non-alcoholic drinks from "Surf", Norma's discount brand, but this was not reflected in the price of 4.30 euros for 0.4 liters. The waiter and the pizza chef were still friendly. The boss wandered around his restaurant looking aimless, guests were not greeted in a friendly manner but were immediately referred to the waiter. Overall, the boss reacted with annoyance to all customer contacts and quickly turned his back on them.

I would give 0 stars if it worked. We waited 40 minutes for our order to be taken and then after another hour we finally got our drink. The food didn't come at all and after waiting 2 hours we left without eating

The food is good, but the waiting times are a disaster. We waited forever with three children, it was really tough. Otherwise the price-performance ratio was ok.

Half a lasagne for €16, the dish was an absolute joke. Can't recommend it, such a disgrace.

I've wanted to try this pizzeria in Oberstaufen for a long time and finally made it. My dinner consisted of a leaf salad and a ham pizza and a drink. Pizza was above average and freshly prepared. The dough didn't have the typical yeasty taste, which suggests a ripening time of at least 12-24 hours, delicious. The restaurant was well attended and many also ordered pizzas to take away (pick up). The ambience didn't quite meet my expectations. Maybe it was because I had the first table at the exit. But the evening was okay so far.

Received drinks after 45 minutes. Appetizers were already there beforehand. Pizza, espresso and tiramisu were very tasty. Service underground. In the end the bill was simply placed on the table - we were a mixed group of several people. What may have been a joke ended up not being understood on an evening with poor service. What a shame!

Good stone oven pizza and pasta.

Cozy atmosphere. If you close the windows you can even do it without it Jacket :) The 7-story house of cards that we built while we were waiting was even finished on time^^ The pizzas have even adapted to the temperature - some hot and cold. Totally agile ;) In the end our orders actually matched the invoice. We were even allowed to test our mental arithmetic skills when it came to splitting the collective bill (brain jogging in the evening par excellence;) The additional services are great: your pizza will even be cut for just 30 cents extra and you can get an additional plate for just 1.50 euros. Really fair^^ Top location for the patient ones :) Pizza was really tasty.

Very good Italian in Oberstaufen. The pizza straight from the wood oven. You can even watch it being prepared. The boss and waitresses are very nice.

We went there for dinner twice in 5 days. We ate pizza, calzones, pizza bread, salad with fish. The food is fantastic. The boss and all the staff were very nice. Even though it is a very large restaurant, all employees keep an overview. This means that the service is good and the food is served without a long wait. Due to the size of the place, it can also be quite loud. But that's because of the guests who think they have to shout at each other instead of having a conversation. Nevertheless, it will be my favorite restaurant when I'm back in Oberstaufen.

Been here on a normal weekday. All guests were seated in the very clearly empty back section. There were reserved stands everywhere on the tables, ours was quickly removed. Service and food are good, I can recommend. The atmosphere, the warmth or a certain something for a cozy evening are missing.

I always come here when I'm in Oberstaufen! We recommend making a reservation, but if you're lucky you might get a spot. Like other restaurants in town, they are NOT closed on Mondays. Thanks Pizza, pasta, etc. make your heart beat faster. This time we had seafood and buffalo pizza - easily 10 out of 5 stars!!! Yummy! See you next time. Ciao

Unfortunately the restaurant doesn't have a nice atmosphere. Actually just tables in one or more rooms. The pizza was good. Handmade from the stone oven. But the scalopines weren't particularly tasty. Too thick and too much butter. The waiter could have been a little friendlier.

The pizza is ok, have eaten at Roma Centro a few times but after the last time this restaurant won't see me again due to the unfriendly waiter. The basement was already stressed, hectic and not particularly friendly at the beginning. A glass of tap water was refused despite a total consumption of over 70 euros. When the tip was relatively small at 1.70 euros, the waiter got pretty sulky and said I should save the money and use it to buy my girlfriend flowers. He then left, visibly annoyed...

Das Essen war lecker. Das personal war sehr nett und hat sich sehr gekümmert. Die Toiletten waren etwas dreckig. Aber ein guter Eindruck war es trotzdem.

Im 1. OG befindliche Pizzeria in gemütlich alten Ambiente. Freundlicher Empfang, trotz voller Reservierung wurde ein Platz angeboten. Der Chef kümmert sich persönlich um seine Gäste, ganz tolle Sache. Die Getränkekarte bietet ein großes Sortiment an Säfte, alkoholfreie Getränke. Auch schöne Weinkarte. Die bestellten 🍕 Pizza wurden von sehr höflichen Kellner schnell und heiß serviert. Wau, eine der besten die ich je gegessen habe. Nicht überladen, der Boden bis zum letzten Biss fest und resch. Eine gelungene Gaumensynfonie in Oberstaufen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles italienisches Restaurant mit ausgezeichneter Pizza, die in der Nähe vom Eingang im klassischen Pizzaofen gebacken wird. Das Personal ist freundlich und schnell. Optisch ist die Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber für mich zählt das Essen mehr. Das Restaurant ist gut besucht, ich empfehle eine Reservierung. Von daher einen großen Daumen hoch.

Der Preis deckt nicht die Qualität ab!Für ein Glas Leitungswasser zahlen Sie 4,50! Wie viel kostet Mineralwasser?!Es war sehr unprofessionell von dem Kellner, ihm einen Salat zu bestellen, mir einen Teller mit 50 Gramm Käse zu bringen und mir dafür 17 Euro zu berechnen!Ich habe 60 Euro für nur eine Person bezahlt. Es war, als hätte ich ein ganzes Schwein gegessen! Tatsächlich kam ich hungrig und enttäuscht nach Hause!Gehen Sie nicht dorthin, Sie werden am Ende hungrig und mit einem leeren Geldbeutel dastehen! Reparieren Sie auch Ihr Menü im Internet!!!

Sehr netter Service, gutes Essen - sehr große Pizzen und leckere Vorspeise! Keine lange Wartezeit. Von außen eher unscheinbar aber es lohnt sich.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit echtem Steinofen. Sehr üppige Auswahl an Speisen. Die Bedienungen waren alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Extra Sternchen würden sie bekommen, wenn sie die Sahne bei der Carbonara streichen würden ;)
