Wir waren elf Personen in der Gruppe und sind zum Tanzen ins Untergeschoss gegangen aber die Musik war so dröhnend laut und der Bass fibrierte so stark das es unerträglich war für unsere Ohren wir haben das eigene Wort nicht mehr verstanden die Musik war einfach überdröhnt wir sind dann in ein anderes Tanzlokal gegangen wo die Musiklautstärke annehmbar war

Ein gemütliches Kneipchen, voll und doch Gesprächslautstärke, freundliche und fixe Bedienung. Das Essen ist gut, ohne Schnickschnack. Dankeschön. Können wir empfehlen.

There were four of us yesterday (4 girls) to eat and celebrate my birthday. As always, the food was simply delicious and our service was top notch. The highlight: I received a birthday surprise from the boss. Mega mega sweet. Thank you very much again for everything. We'd love to come back

A rustic restaurant with good home-style food. Smaller portions are available upon request, which I think is very good. If you can't eat it, you can take it with you, and you get an extra point for that too! The service is absolutely fine, the food was also fine. Price-performance ratio is absolutely fine.

Bouncers throw you out for no reason. Blame it on the “boss,” who isn’t there. Very unsympathetic. But apparently it's enough for the old people.

Best and only restaurant in Oberstaufen where you are served really well and can eat very tasty food. Afterwards you can go dancing in the dance halls on the weekend👍👍👍 The staff are all very friendly and professional. Hats off!!!!

We were at the restaurant around 6:30 PM. At that time there was hardly anyone inside, because everyone was sitting outside. Fast service, good portions with main course and dessert.

We got a place for 8 people at short notice on Whitsunday. Top. The service was friendly and quick. Not even having to wait 30 minutes for your food in a full restaurant is a great achievement. It was also super tasty and the portion was big enough. We will definitely come here again. Keep it up.

Despite being very busy, we received great service. The dishes were great. The service staff were great and drinks were needed quickly. Everything was great.

We had a fantastic evening at the Apostl Alm. As a family we were thrilled from start to finish. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the staff exceptionally friendly and attentive. The menu offered a wide selection of delicious dishes to suit every taste. Every dish we ordered was a taste experience of the highest order - freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The portions were generous so no one went hungry. We really enjoyed our time at Apostl and would recommend it to anyone looking for a first class dining experience. Five stars from our family!"

Unfortunately I had an unpleasant experience with an employee. When we wanted to pay €7.80 by card, he said we were “the inventors of the e-euro” and called us afterwards “pay in cash”. There is no notice on the door about the minimum amount for card payment. After speaking to the friendly owner, it turns out that small amounts by card are no problem, but cash is understandably preferred. The owner promised that she had spoken to her employee. Seems very honest - so I praise the way he handles feedback.

Wild garlic kässpätzle, very tasty.

Our favorite restaurant in Oberstaufen. Consistently warm cuisine with a solid basic menu and alternating seasonal theme menus. The service is always friendly and courteous. For children there is a children's menu and activities with coloring pictures. The food always came quickly and has always met our expectations. We always like to come back.

Nice service and attentive. Is. Ambience, you feel comfortable. Selection of dishes is good... but with a cordon blue I don't expect a flattened schnitzel that now becomes a cordon bleu with little ham and a bland cheese with no taste... then I'd rather have a smaller menu and better quality. It was clearly the dessert that took the cake 👍

Super cozy restaurant with good food, great service, very friendly and above all child-friendly! Our son was immediately given something to paint at the table. The food arrived quickly and was fresh, tasted great and was good value for money! After paying we got a schnapps on the house! And within walking distance to hotels in Oberstaufen! A great restaurant. Food was great and the staff is really accommodating, child-friendly and attentive. In terms of price it was totally reasonable. My conclusion, If I'm in the area again, it'll definitely be set. Thank you and keep it up.

Wir sind in 3 Tagen das 2. Mal hier und bereuen es , den Tag dazwischen nicht auch hier gewesen zu sein. Das Essen, mit Allgäuer Spezialitäten , einfach super. Nachdem ich mal wieder vergessen habe, zu erwähnen, dass ich lactoseintollerant bin, war es für die Küche kein Problem mir ein anderes Dressing an den Salat zu machen. Die 2 Burschen vom Service wussten genau, wann sie am Tisch auftauchen mussten, um unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Sehr zuvorkommend, einfach spitze Danke Apostl Team

It is simply wonderful to dine there. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The food is a taste explosion and the ambience is simply indescribably beautiful. You immediately feel like you are on an alpine pasture high up in the mountains. Unfortunately, places like this are very, very rare. Keep it up. You are the best

Our holiday guests were guests at the Papst Alm again today and the three of us really enjoyed it. Many greetings to the kitchen... There are enough parking spaces on site, in the public parking lot at the train station. Reservations are recommended. You can sit outside and inside and relax.

Great location, extremely nice service and very flexible, we came with a small child, were sandwiched between reservations and got our food very quickly, which was really delicious! Absolute recommendation!

Very nice and attentive waiter, fair prices and the food was also very good, I had rösti with tomato and mozzarella gratin and a delicious salad. At the end we were treated to a schnapps. We felt very comfortable there and will definitely come back when we are in Oberstaufen again.

Wir kamen ohne Reservierung zu viert plus Kleinkind und obwohl alle Tische reserviert waren, wurde uns sehr schnell ein Tisch zur Verfügung gestellt. Ohne Anfrage wurde für die Kleine direkt etwas zum Malen gebracht und die Bedienungen waren trotz absolut vollem Laden durchgehend nett und gut gelaunt. Das Essen war hervorragend und mitunter das Beste was wir in unserem Urlaub im Allgäu hatten. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Einfach super gut und soo nette Bedienung perfekt nur zu empfehlen

Wir waren zusammen mit unserem 5 Monate alten Sohn zum Abendessen. Der Service hat uns sehr freundlich an einen praktischen Tisch für unseren Kinderwagen geführt. Zum Essen hatten wir dann einen Beilagensalat, eine Flädlessuppe, ein Schlämmerteller und ein Pfännle"Schweizer Art", es hat alles hervorragend geschmeckt. Zum Schluss bekamen wir noch einen Hausschnaps. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!!

Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung war auch sehr nett.

Wir waren mit Kind essen. Das Essen war super lecker. Das Ganze wurde nur noch getoppt von der Freundlichkeit des Personals. Auch auf Kinder sind sie total gut vorbereitet. Es gab sofort eine Kinderkarte, Ausmalbild mit Stiften und Bei Bedarf hätten sie wohl auch noch kleine Spiele gehabt. Selbst die Neugierde unseres Juniors hat niemanden gestört. Im Gegenteil: sie wurde liebevoll gestillt.

Hervorragendes Essen. Ist sehr gut frequentiert, deshalb unbedingt Plätze reservieren! Auch die Discos im Apostel sind zu empfehlen. Kommt natürlich auf den Musikgeschmack an. 😉

Wir waren 2 mal in der Woche mit 2 Kindern in der Apostl Alm essen. das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen lecker mit großen Portionen und auch das Ambiente war nett gemacht wir Kommen bestimmt mal wieder rein

Es ist für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Fleisch und Salat waren mega lecker leider waren es für uns keine Allgäuer Kässpatzen der Käse war sehr neutral und geschmacklos. Ansonsten hat alles gepasst.

Waren am Wochenende wieder mal unterwegs. Diesesmal fuhren wir Richtung Oberstaufen haben am Busbahnhof einen sehr schönen Schlafplatz gefunden (sind mit Wohnmobil unterwegs)- wir hatten vergessen ein Abendessen miteinzupacken. Und gingen in die Apostl Alm zum Essen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Service war schnell und sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker Der Beilagensalat hatte ein sehr gutes Dressing. Ich hätte Krautkrapfen mit Bratensoße und Röstzwiebeln alles hatte mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Meine Frau hatte Jägerschnitzel mit Spätzle und hat ihr auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Wenn wir das nächste mal in der Gegend sind kommen wir auf alle fälle wieder-vlt rufen wir vorher an und reservieren innen einen Tisch😉 Bis zum nächsten mal👍👍

Eigentlich hätte alles perfekt sein können… Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Ambiente sehr uhrig. Jedoch wurde unser Besuchserlebnis sehr davon gestört, dass kurze Zeit später betrunkene Wandertruppen das Lokal stürmten und sämtliche Servicekräfte nur noch damit beschäftigt waren, diese Personen mit Schnaps abzufüllen. Unsere eigenen Getränke blieben dabei auf der Strecke und kamen trotz zweifacher Nachfrage nicht. Schade… es hätte ein schöner Besuch werden können, aber die Betreiber legen wohl mehr Wert auf Sauftourismus.

Apostel finde ich sehr gut .Es stimmt alles. Von Personal,dass Essen , bis zu ambiente alles hervorragend. Ich kann nur empfehlen. Weiter so.

Wir haben aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen dort gegessen. Leider klappte unsere Tischreservierung (Außenbereich) nicht, wurde dann jedoch Vorort eher halbherzig gelöst. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend und kam sehr schnell. Der Service war freundlich.

Das Essen war im Grunde gut. Allerdings wurde wir nachdem wir sassen an einen Tisch seitlich des Restaurants nahe an der Küche umgesetzt! Kein schöner Platz, vielleicht hat unsere Visage nicht gepasst! Nerviger oberambitionierter Kellner, überheblich, der den ganzen Abend dutzende Msle das Wort „entspannt“ fallen liess und uns, als auch andere Gäste, verhöhnte. Daher kein weiterer Besuch unsererseits mehr dort

Also ich war jetzt dieses Jahr 3x in Oberstaufen und habe sehr oft im Apostel gegessen. Ich war immer sehr zufrieden mit dem Service, den Speisen und wenn man Probleme mit dem Kellner hat sollte man es ihn vor Ort sagen. Ich kenne keinen vom Personal der aufdringlich und arrogant rüber kommt.

Delicious food! This was our favourite place when visiting oberstaufen. The Käsespätzle were to die for! My partner also really enjoyed his meat dish, he said the sauce was reallllly good. Service was nice and attentive. I would recommend giving this place a try 😉

Took 30 minutes to get a menu and the waitress didn’t even apologise. Other customers were getting done dishes after the rest of the table had finished. We decided to leave without ordering.

Rustic and traditional place with typical food. Big portions but nothing fancy for sure. Meat was good, sauce tasted artificial and not homemade. Paying by credit card was not possible - huh!? We had to find a bank to withdraw cash, unacceptable in 2019..

What a great bar and restaurant. OK it's not fine dining but husband had one of the ugliest but tastiest meals ..in his words. Potatoes baked with black pudding and sauerkraut. Atmosphere was great, being a bank holiday everybody was in..shall we say high spirits. Wine was mediocre and over 4€ for a bottle of water is a bit steep. But a nice time.

We joined the restaurant on a Saturday evening with a bunch of people. The location is furnished with a very traditional and rustic Bavarian style. So far so good. Now to the food, it was looking nice but the taste was below average and the quality wasn't the best. The prices varies from 12-21€ and for a beer 3,50€ Weizen. The service was short worded and rough.
