Volle Punkte, ich hatte den Salat mit Pute und einen Tag später den gebratenen Spargel. Beides sehr gut. Super Service, schnell und kompetent. Ich komme wieder hierher.

Eines der wenigen gut bürgerlichen deutschen Restaurants. Ansprechendes Ambiente - zur Region passend -, freundliches Personal. Essen kam auf meine Bitte sehr schnell, so daß ich vor der Weiterfahrt mit meinem Reisebus noch in Ruhe was essen konnte. Das Jägerschnitzel mit Spätzle war sehr gut. Und bemerkenswert : es lief überarbeitete 70er Jahre Musik im Hintergrund. Fazit: für mich ein Ort zum wohlfühlen.

Wir waren am Freitag das erste mal dort und es war soooo toll, dass wir das ganze Wochenende jeden Tag dort gegessen haben😅 Das Essen war richtig lecker, nicht Zuviel oder zu wenig , frisch und super toll angerichtet. Das Ambiente hat uns ebenfalls sehr gefallen. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen ☺️ Und auch das ganze Personal war super freundlich aber , unser größter Stern geht an den Kellner Stephan 😁 Ich habe sehr viele Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten , dies bereitet mir sehr viel Schwierigkeiten auswärts essen zu gehen . Stephan war super freundlich, kompetent und ging mit sehr viel Mitgefühl auf mich ein. Mein Partner und die Kinder waren auch sehr begeistert , wir können dieses Restaurant sehr gerne empfehlen und freuen uns auf das nächste Mal . Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 👍🏻

Enttäuschend – Massenabfertigung statt Qualität Leider war unser Besuch im Apostel alles andere als gemütlich. Der Gastraum war unangenehm kalt, sodass man sich kaum entspannen konnte. Zudem war es extrem voll und eng bestuhlt. Das Essen wirkte leider wie aufgewärmte Fertiggerichte und rechtfertigte den Preis in keiner Weise. Der Service war bestenfalls „solala“ – zwar nicht direkt unfreundlich, aber sichtlich überfordert und wenig aufmerksam. Insgesamt leider keine Empfehlung. Besucht,in der 1.Januarwoche.

Waren zum ersten Mal da , sind auch durch die gute Bewertung auf dieses Restaurant aufmerksam geworden und ich muss sagen es war noch besser wie erwartet. Man wird durch die kompetente Bedienung sehr gut beraten, es hat alles wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt. Selten so gut geschmaust. Nur zu empfehlen.

Extrem gemütliches Restaurant, leckeres Essen und top Service. Der Kellner war extrem bemüht uns alle Wünsche zu erfüllen, ist sogar nach Küchenschluss selbst in die Küche um uns noch einen Nachtisch zuzubereiten, sensationell, großes Lob! Klare Empfehlung 👍🏼

Wir waren schon mehrfach in diesem Restaurant und kommen immer wieder gerne. Da es oft gut besucht ist, empfiehlt es sich auf jeden Fall, vorab zu reservieren. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe ausreichend, diese sind zwar kostenpflichtig, aber völlig in Ordnung. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich und urig eingerichtet, sodass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Wir wurden bisher immer freundlich empfangen und zu unserem Platz begleitet. Der Service ist durchweg sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Auch wenn es einmal etwas länger gedauert hat, wurde man darüber informiert, was wir sehr angenehm fanden. Das Essen war bei jedem Besuch sehr gut – unabhängig vom Gericht. Die Speisen kamen zudem immer zügig, sodass wir nie lange warten mussten. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut fair. Einziger Kritikpunkt sind die Toiletten im Untergeschoss. Diese sind nur über eine Treppe erreichbar, der Bereich ist recht eng und zudem ziemlich kühl. Insgesamt aber ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant, in das wir gerne wiederkommen.

Waren zum nach dem Skifahren in Oberstaufen. Das ist mit Abstand eine der coolsten wirtshäuser in dem ich seit langem war. Essen top und gute Portionen, Bedienung super freundlich und am Ende ohne großes Loch im Geldbeutel nach Hause gegangen. Ich werde definitiv wieder kommen!

Traditionelle Allgäuer Küche war der Gedanke für den letzten Abend in Oberstaufen. Viele Empfehlungen haben uns zur Apostl Alm geführt. Über die Woche haben wir mehrere Restaurants besucht und für sehr gut empfunden. Die Bewertungen sprechen für sich: eine sehr gute traditionelle Küche würde uns erwarten. Schon beim Servieren der Teller waren wir sehr überrascht und es herrschte kurze Stille. Das ca. 0,5 cm dünne Cordon Bleu, indem man eine Art Sandwichkäse und ein Hauch Schinken zwischen zwei plattgeklopften Schweineschnitzeln zu finden war, hat uns die Sprache verschlagen. Die Pommes waren in Ordnung. Für den „Schlemmerteller“ (Schweinemedaillons mit Pilzbratensoße und Käsespätzle) fehlen uns fast die Worte. Der Geschmack der Soße erinnerte mich an meine ersten Kochversuche mit Maggifix/Knorr - was auch überraschenderweise in anderer Bewertung zu lesen ist. Die Käsespätzle (Eierknöpfle) waren eins mit dem Käse. Man könnte vermuten, dass dies mit einem großen Schöpflöffel auf den Teller „serviert“ wurde. Zumindest so die Konsistenz. Hier war das Fleisch okay. Die Getränke wurden sehr schnell serviert - wie auch das Essen. Leider ist uns erst im Anschluss eingefallen, dass wir hätten ein Foto machen müssen. Die Bilder aus den Bewertungen von vor ca 2-3 Monaten entsprechen nicht der Qualität des Essens (evtl liegt dies am Pächterwechsel im Dez??). Wer sich für dieses Restaurant entscheidet darf zu dem laut Speisekarte das Verständnis mitbringen, zusätzlich 2€ für einen Beilagenwechsel zu bezahlen. In Oberstaufen können wir sehr viel bessere Restaurants zu ähnlichen Preisen empfehlen.

Wir waren zu viert eine Woche vor Weihnachten dort und es war wirklich nicht toll. Wir saßen 45 Minuten,ohne Getränke, nicht mal Bestellung wurde aufgenommen. Ohne Entschuldigung kam irgendwann jemand total abgehetzt und hat nach Getränken gefragt. Aperol Spritz für 7.90 Euro,in dem so gut wie kein Aperol enthalten war. Essen wurde nach weiteren 20 Minuten aufgenommen. Die Burger waren kalt, fertige Burger Brötchen und fertiges Pattie. Pommes dazu kalt und lätschig. Käse-Schnitzel war in Ordnung, Pommes dazu kalt und die Soße....ich habe noch nie so eine miese Soße gegessen. Hier wurde nicht mal der Versuch unternommen, die Fertigsoße zu " tarnen" . Wir sind wegen der vielen guten Bewertungen gekommen, die ich , bzw. wir , definitiv NICHT nachvollziehen können. Es gibt sehr, sehr viel bessere Wirtschaften als dieser Touristennepp. Antwort zur Restaurantantwort: Ich habe keinen konkreten Tag genannt und anstatt ernsthaft nachzufragen, wird mit Standardisierten Antworten gearbeitet. Einem Gast, der eine solche Bewertung schreibt, als Lügner darzustellen, statt zu reflektieren was wirklich gewesen ist, ist schon Aussage genug.

Wir sind extra aus dem Allgäu angereist und auf Empfehlung in dieses Gasthaus gekommen – und wurden absolut nicht enttäuscht. Das Essen war hervorragend: klassische, traditionelle deutsche Küche, mit viel Liebe zubereitet und geschmacklich einfach top. Jedes einzelne Gericht war sehr, sehr lecker und auf den Punkt. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Wert auf Qualität und Handwerk gelegt wird. Für uns eine rundum gelungene Erfahrung und in allen Punkten eine klare Top-Bewertung. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

ich war mit meiner familie dort und wir hatten essen bestellt, der kellner nahm alles auf und soweit war alles gut. auf einmal war laute musik zu hören, die einfach zu dem ambiente garnicht passte. wir aßen auf und könnten die musik einfach nicht mehr hören. also bezahlen wir und gingen. die musik war wirklich nicht auszuhalten und das essen war in ordnung. das fleisch war nicht gar und man hatte das essen einfach anders erwarten. schade!

Service war nett und freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Essen kam zügig, was positiv ist. Die Suppe war in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes. Die Hauptspeise war gut und solide zubereitet. Insgesamt ein gutes Restaurant, wenn man unkompliziert und ohne große kulinarische Erwartungen essen gehen möchte. Kein Highlight, aber auch kein Reinfall.

Sind im Urlaub und zum erstenmal hier. Und ich kann nur sagen, einfach alles gut. Angefangen mit dem sehr netten Service. Ambiente nach meinem Geschmack so wie ich es erwarte in der Region hier. Und das Essen einfach klasse. Hat sehr lecker geschmeckt und die die gerne etwas mehr essen hat es auch super gereicht. Mein Fazit ist, wenn man hier ist muss man unbedingt einmal hier essen gehen. Was ich mit meiner Familie auch nochmal mache. Kann ich mit besten Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Rein zufällig reingestolpert (weil alle Restaurants in Oberstaufen zu hatten)und wahrhaftig auf den ersten Blick verliebt. Ein ganz ganz tolle Atmosphäre. Super nettes Personal. Lustig und gesprächsbereit. Mein Hund wurde als erstes bedient und bekam gleich was zu trinken. Das Essen kam zügig und heiß auf den Tisch. Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert!

Not an authentic place for Allgäu innkeeping and cuisine; the food and service are mediocre; there are much more authentic and better alternatives in the surrounding area.

We had to wait a long time before we could order. The food was okay, but it was more quantity than quality. It also took a long time to pay. And only cash payment was possible; no electronic payment by card or mobile phone was possible, which is just not possible these days.

Highly recommended! When we arrived around 7 p.m., the place was full, but the staff were still relaxed and super friendly, walking through the restaurant with a smile. Unfortunately, that's rare these days, but we noticed it here in a particularly positive way. The food was also incredibly delicious. We will definitely be back 🤩

A friendly restaurant, just the way we like it! Even though we arrived on a very full evening when the waiters were busy, we enjoyed some excellent dishes. The portions are substantial and of high quality. This is a place to remember!

The food was delicious and the portions were perfectly adequate. Unfortunately, we had an unmotivated server that evening who seemed more concerned with the other guests than with us. We had to wait forever for the menu, and our food didn't arrive until 1.5 hours after we entered the restaurant. They also charge an extra €2 for changes to side dishes. On the one hand, that's understandable because all these changes can disrupt the flow, but on the other hand, it's also cheeky because, in my opinion, changing from cheese spaetzle to regular spaetzle doesn't justify €2. You also can't pay by card, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Great service and delicious food

The food was fine. The atmosphere is a bit cluttered/chaotic, especially if you have a table near the bar. It's a bit concerning that you can ONLY pay in cash.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and inviting. The food was perfectly fine and we enjoyed it. The value for money is definitely good, which is why we can happily recommend the restaurant. A reservation is advisable, as it's always quite busy.

For God's sake! Where do these positive reviews come from? The food is average at best (more likely below average). Classic example: Look at the clientele beforehand to classify the review accordingly. It wasn't our cup of tea at all. The tagiatelle were overcooked. The cheese spaetzle were by far the worst we've ever eaten. Sorry, but quantity definitely doesn't equal quality! On the positive side, the service – fast, attentive, and really friendly.

The schnitzel and roast beef with onions were very good. The cheese in the cheese spaetzle tasted of nothing. Not worthy of the Allgäu region.

Three schnitzels, which were okay, but nothing more. We also had a cordon bleu, which was definitely frozen and unfortunately nothing special. We expected more after reading the reviews. We wouldn't come again.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with an employee. When we tried to pay €7.80 by card, he said we were "the inventors of the e-euro" and called out to us, "Pay in cash." There was no notice on the door about the minimum amount for card payments.

An excellent, truly tasty and nutritious end to our Whitsun stay in Oberstaufen. The pancake soup and cheese spaetzle with salad, as well as the Post Hefeweizen on tap, were a delicious treat that is second to none. The service also contributed to the overall excellent impression, always ready with a good word to say and always courteous. Simply exceptional!

Two of us visited there, and I highly recommend it. The food was delicious. I had the asparagus with ham, and my sister had the asparagus without ham but with even more potatoes. Both were absolutely delicious! The dessert was also incredibly good, and the service was very friendly and quick. Dogs are also allowed, which was perfect for us. Last but not least, we found the prices here to be extremely reasonable and good. You really get something delicious here, and plenty of it, without paying too much. Highly recommended! :)

Since guests probably don't order food until after their 10th beer, the reviews are understandable. A supposedly witty waiter served spaetzle cooked with what appeared to be dishwater. The chef couldn't make the thickened sauces any worse. With funky music, the food and more created a Ballermann feeling. If you like it!

Ordered liver. The liver was tough and stringy, a bit black and overcooked (it was probably frozen). The fried potatoes were a convenience product, just thrown into a hot pan with no seasoning. The sauce tasted like a "ready-made product". The salad garnish included a ready-made cabbage and carrot salad, a piece of cucumber, a tomato wedge on a large leaf of Lollo Rosso, and a completely unnecessary thick halved slice of orange (as is common in Eastern Europe). The price, however, was the best of all: €19.90, and it was served within 15 minutes. Respect. Oh, and I completely forgot to mention that just before I was finished, the waiter realized he could have presented a cruet set, but it was too late.

It's a great, beautiful and fun place. Like on the alpine pasture or in the mountains a hut is set up. Super great atmosphere and funny, helpful and very friendly service staff. Food and drinks are top notch, generous and tastefully prepared. The toilet rooms are very small but probably just as big as in a mountain hut. Wasn't a problem for us. Above all, very clean and hygienically very good 👍. Greetings and remain with kind regards
