es dauerte ewig lange bis wir die Speisekarte erhalten haben, sowie die Getränke. Essen ging so, bestellter Salat wurde nicht gebracht aber berechnet. Überfordertes Personal. Toiletten unter aller S.. Hier gehen wir nicht wieder hin.

Went there spontaneously on a recommendation, but we had also been to the restaurant a few years ago. Everything was a little better there... service today was rather so-so, out of three drinks one was wrong... the first meal wasn't correct either, one ingredient was completely missing. With the pasta you had problems finding the broccoli....and somehow it would have been nice to be asked if you were satisfied or enjoyed it. Summary: okay if you're hungry and don't have high expectations of the quality of the dishes. Since we don't live here, it doesn't bother us and we won't be coming back.

The authentic and inviting Italian atmosphere stuck out as a sore thumb. Quick service. Great prices and food. Candles and bookshelves for some privacy also add a lot. I heavily recommend this restaurant.

7 of us ate here. Unfortunately, the drinks and the various foods came to the table very differently. We asked several times when the last drink, a glass of wine, would arrive. It just came after everyone had eaten. In addition, the employee seemed very annoyed and was also unfriendly to us. If the store had been full, I might have been able to understand it. But when we arrived there were only four tables occupied. Pizza was okay, but nothing more. The size was very large for a normal pizza. So you can't earn a tip. I will not visit the store again

Unfortunately it wasn't a nice experience. There were 7 of us there. When we arrived the cards were put on the table and then we were ignored for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes we were finally allowed to order, so in addition to the drinks, we also ordered the food. Of course, after 20 minutes we found something. Afterwards, 6 out of 7 people got their drinks. After another 15 minutes, one person had already received their dish while one person continued to wait for their drink. Even after repeated requests, the drink didn't come, just a curt answer that it would come. 10 minutes later, 5 people got their pizza, while the one without a drink sat there without food. The waitress who served us had the pizza in one hand and a cell phone in the other and barely paid us any attention, which I find very rude. When the last missing drink finally arrived, the food was still missing. I asked if the pizza would take as long as the drink, and the waitress responded with annoyance: "It only takes 2 minutes". After 10 minutes everyone finally received their food. We asked for the bill straight away to pass the time and it suddenly worked out quickly. Pizza was okay but nothing special. We won't come here again, as annoyed as the waitress was.

We waiting almost hour and than comes another meal …. So unproffesional..

Milano is more of a pizza delivery service. We ate in the restaurant. The ambience is quite nice, prices are okay too, but the food is rather bland and nothing special. The salad was completely unseasoned, no dressing, nothing, the noodles were somewhat okay. Service could try a little harder. You can go, but you don't have to.

Best pizza in town with reasonable price. Pasta OK. Salad is better and cheaper almost everywhere. Staff very nice, but sometimes overwhelmed. Nicely remodeled facility. The delivery service takes far too long and twice as long as stated!

Mediocre food, poor service but a nice place

We were there as part of a Christmas party with our company and unfortunately the evening was a big disappointment. Right from the start we had to wait a full 20 minutes for anyone to take our order - even though we didn't even have drinks yet. The quality of the food was also very disappointing. Some of us ordered Jägerschnitzel, but were given a dry piece of beef instead - on the grounds that no pork was available. This could have been told to us beforehand! Unfortunately, the Spaghetti Aglio e Olio wasn't what you expected either: instead of the classic preparation with garlic, there was spaghetti with vegetable broth - that has nothing to do with "Aglio e Olio". Overall, the service was inattentive, the food was far below expectations and the evening was anything but successful. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was anything but satisfactory. The salad was disappointing in taste and had no seasoning whatsoever - just very boring. The pizza and the pasta were also not convincing, as there were hardly any toppings and, above all, they tasted very strongly of tomatoes and oregano. There was a lack of variety and taste. The service was a disaster. The waitress didn't seem to be properly informed about what she was serving us, and the drinks only came in plastic glasses after the meal - that's just not acceptable. What was particularly annoying was that one person in our group was completely forgotten and their food didn't come until much later. The location was also uninviting: it was extremely dark and the chairs were very uncomfortable. There were twenty-five of us, and the room simply wasn't suitable for such a large group. Overall, a disappointing lunch that I unfortunately cannot recommend.

I ordered from the pizzeria via Uber Eats. The food was delivered within the delivery time. The pizza was very tasty and still warm. I would say it's a little more expensive but it was still worth it. I would recommend a visit to Piccola Milano.

The pizza is large and filling. It lacks a bit of pizzazz and the topping is probably from a large can. The large tables are an advantage if you are traveling as a larger group.

It was very nice and tasted good

Although we have been to this restaurant many times, our gourmet block was unfortunately not recognized. The pad was on the table, but shortly after ordering I said again that we were here to eat with the self-service. We were coldly told that the block would not be accepted. After consulting with the waitress, the boss wanted to make an exception. However, she then collected the full price without the gourmet block. We will most likely not come back and are very disappointed as customers. We can therefore no longer recommend the restaurant to our best friends. very very unfortunate!!!

Only accept cash to launder money.

So if you could give zero stars I would. We had 3 meals and everything else came but no food. Fries were raw and the schnitzel was really bad. The other two meals aren't even worth mentioning. Never again

We ordered the combinatione with a variety of pasta in one dish. It was good. The waiter is friendly nice chatty Italian fellow. The restaurant is fairly quiet although it's near the main station. If you want good Italian food go to this restaurant.

Appetizers arrived 40 minutes later than the pizza. It was a complete disaster here. I pay €23 for a mixed starter plate and just get snotty 😡 The pizza was okay

I'm used to an Italian restaurant not doing a steak or something like that well, ok for free. This restaurant managed to kill the animal twice. The meat was tough, dry and visually like the sole of a shoe, including the taste - unbelievable. But this restaurant took the cake with the mozzarella. Which was able to significantly undercut Lidl's in terms of quality. Rubber, dry and very very firm in consistency. Not to mention the tomatoes, which were tasteless and a few days old (wrinkled skin and corresponding consistency). How can you as an Italian place so little value on your culture? I think the restaurant would be much better if they didn't skimp on the quality of the products. The pizzas looked decent.

The service was very friendly and an incorrectly delivered dish was responded to very quickly. However, there are unfortunately also unpleasant points, such as the fact that the extra peppers on the pizza apparently came from a jar (due to their sour taste) and were therefore not fresh. A friend's salad, which was actually advertised as a mixed salad, basically only consisted of lettuce leaves and few other vegetables.

The Pizzeria Picolla offers large stone oven pizzas that are visually appealing. In terms of taste, however, the pizzas were rather average - they lacked a bit of spice and sophistication. Service was OK, but nothing outstanding. Unfortunately our voucher book, which we would have liked to have used, was not accepted, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the overall experience was fine. If you value large portions, you might get your money's worth here, but there is certainly room for improvement when it comes to taste and service.

The pizza was very large and well topped. Good taste. Unfortunately I had to switch to Spezi because there were no more Orangina. The garlic and spicy oil served were a bitter disappointment. The atmosphere is special, old books everywhere. Not my case.

Price-performance school grades 6! Among other things, we ordered Jägerschnitzel and Cocktail di Comberi (shrimp cocktail). The schnitzel delivery came without sauce and there was only 1 piece of schnitzel, the shrimp cocktail was a salad with North Sea crabs and no bread. In my opinion, the price of €18.90 is far too high for just 1 schnitzel without sauce with fries that have already been received. A salad with a very thin cocktail dressing without bread for €10.90 is also way too expensive. Unfortunately, the managing director doesn't want to hear any criticism. The employee reacted to my complaint immediately dismissively and explained that that's just how it is with you and that they won't change anything here. Apparently she doesn't want to tell the boss that either, because she always cut me off during conversations and repeated them in a monotonous, continuous loop. For this reason I cannot recommend the restaurant. Far too expensive for this ambiguous description of the food, quality of the food and the unpleasant service.

Always my first choice for Italian. The food takes a bit more than usual time to prepare since they make it absolutely fresh for you but the rest of the experience is amazing. Would also recommend as a date night place.

The topping of the pizza was very generous and not bad at all, but unfortunately I have never eaten such bad pizza dough - the edge was dry and everything was soggy inside. The salad wasn't bad, but the cheese on the salad was grated and you had to look for it.

An absolute disaster! I ordered a pizza and a tiramisu, expecting delivery within half an hour, as promised. After a full hour I called and was told the pizza was "on the way" and would arrive soon. This statement was simply a lie. Another half hour later it suddenly said that the pizza wasn't even on the way yet and I had to wait at least another half hour. In total it took over two hours for the food to finally arrive and to make matters worse, in the end they didn't even have the tiramisu that I ordered. No accommodation, no apology - just bad service. The pizza wasn't particularly good either... I will definitely never order here again. Absolute waste of time!

I've never experienced anything like this before. Ordered her cell phone with my friend. The delivery person simply writes to my girlfriend. And asks how she is doing. Of course, even the medium pizza was huge and delicious, even if I haven't had a Capriciosa with boiled eggs and salami anywhere. Maybe this combination is a Milanese peculiarity, okay. Even though the restaurant was perhaps half full, we waited 15 minutes for one of the waitresses to appear at the table. We ordered a pizza and spaghetti bolognese. The pizza was brought after about 10 minutes, and we waited 30 minutes longer for the spaghetti. Good service is not just about the performance of the waitresses, the girls tried very hard. You can also expect the food to be served at the same time. Incidentally, according to my wife, the spaghetti was less recommended. The owner advertises the loal as bright. This may apply to the tables by the window. After I lit the candle at the table, things went so-so. The gentleman at the next table lit his table candle for us after asking the waiter several times to do so. Cutting the pizza was an effort thanks to the absolutely dull knife. Based on the experience, another visit is not up for debate.

We booked the mixed appetizer special, the gorgonzola spaghetti and the wiener schnitzel. We also ordered drinks. There were a bug in one of the drinks. The schnitzel were burned. The shcnitzel and the fries tasted like they were fried in old oil. The mixed appetizer special was not a plate with the different tastes from the menu that we spoke with the waiter about before we ordered. It was a plate with a lot of things mixed together on one plate, seafood, salami, eggs, salad etc. Cold food. This was a disappointment for us, probably due to a language misunderstanding. We therefore left without eating most of the food.

The pizzeria is reasonably priced and the pizzas are large. In terms of taste, however, they leave a lot to be desired - the pizza was carelessly made and a bit bland. Friends of ours wanted to eat a large pizza together and ordered an extra plate. Unfortunately it was a children's plate that didn't even fit half a piece of pizza. Huge pizzas, there's not enough plate for them.

Unfortunately, we had an extremely negative experience with this restaurant last night, on a Saturday. I had made a reservation by phone the evening before for four people. We wanted to go out to eat with the Schlemmerblock, as we often do on Saturdays. At the table we were immediately told that the weekend was excluded from the gourmet block in this restaurant. We then said that this contradicts the general terms and conditions of the Schlemmerblock and that the owner cannot set his own different rules. However, the staff maintained that they did not want to accept the block. It would be given to them by their boss. When we asked to get the boss, they just said he wasn't there. Even by phone I didn't want to contact him. We were also told when making the reservation that the block would not be accepted on Saturdays (which is not true - the block was not an issue on the phone). The fact that you don't have to say when you make a reservation by phone if you want to use the block (which has never caused any problems so far) was something you didn't even want to accept. Even the suggestion to give a bad rating was of no use. At the end we pulled out the card that a group of 50 people had just arrived and it would therefore take a long time to prepare our food anyway. We then left the restaurant. Since participation in the gourmet block is voluntary, in my opinion there is unfair competition.

Stopped by here by chance and was impressed. Unfortunately too far from home. The best Italian food around. Sometimes better than in Italy itself. Perfect pasta, huge perfect Neapolitan pizzas! Shocked in love!

The food was nicely decorated, the service was nice, the atmosphere was special but cozy. Salad and dessert were good, unfortunately one of the steaks was very stringy, but there was a small compensation of 2 free espressos. Since the Steinoffen pizzas looked so delicious and the boss was so charming, we would like to come back.

That was the worst steak I've ever eaten. We were looking forward to a lovely evening. The salad was delicious. The steak was thin and cod was tough and lumpy. The fries were too salty and they brought a second piece of meat that was just as bad.

We were there with the Schlemmerblock. When we placed the order, it said no meat with the gourmet block, only pasta and pizza (of course it doesn't say anywhere). We then ordered gratinated pasta and after adding a lot of salt it was ok. Unfortunately the wine didn't taste good. We find the restaurant appealing, not so commonplace.

In our opinion, Pizzeria Milano is one of the best pizzerias we have visited so far. Even pasta dishes are absolutely perfect. Everything is fresh and tasty prepared. The employees are also very, very accommodating and always in a good mood. If you're not happy there, you'll have a hard time finding something. We recommend this place too 100% recommend with a clear conscience. Price performance absolutely top! And thank you very much for today's spontaneous reservation on my parents' wedding day and your generous attention.

We have been delivery customers for many years and wanted to redeem a voucher this time. This was refused with the argument that a voucher could only be redeemed on site. Since this is not on the voucher and it also came as part of an order, this is completely nonsensical and poor service.

Don't let anyone sell you a voucher!!! Although it was promised on the phone, it was not accepted upon delivery, luckily Mannheim has plenty of other delivery services.

Unfortunately, I had an extremely disappointing experience ordering from your restaurant. Even though the app said delivery time was 1 hour, it ended up taking over 2 hours and 40 minutes. The problem was not only the delay, but also the lack of transparency and the repeated false statements made by the staff on the phone. After being misinformed twice and finally learning that the order was canceled, we feel not only stalled but also deliberately deceived. Clear and honest communication about possible delays would have given us the opportunity to find an alternative solution. The way this situation was handled was unprofessional and significantly marred our evening. It would be desirable for more transparent and honest communication to be maintained with customers in the future to avoid frustration.

Found this pizzeria by chance. Very nice atmosphere. Ordered 6 pizzas with good service. All perfect and tasteful. Service was good, people always asked if everything was OK and what else they could bring. Price-performance ratio unbeatable. The waitress was also happy to accommodate our request for a photo together. Thank you very much and gladly again.
