PURiNO Mannheim in Mannheim

The ambiance is lovely, and the view of the Rhine is particularly impressive. Unfortunately, I have to say that the service has been somewhat disappointing on every visit. The food, however, is still highly recommended!

Great location. Very family-friendly and child-friendly. Children under 6 eat for free. The service was excellent; we received a friendly welcome and were served quickly and courteously. We'd love to come back.

The service was fine and the staff friendly, but the food was a complete disappointment. We had to wait a long time for our order, even though our expectations were actually high. The pizza was really bad – the taste and quality were below what you'd get even with a frozen pizza. The pasta was also completely sticky and poorly prepared. I don't usually write reviews, but in this case, I wanted to share my experience. The kitchen needs to urgently come up with something – unfortunately, this is simply not acceptable.

Went here for dinner today, which was very good. Service was a bit slow at times. Unfortunately, the restroom was very dirty 🙈 you could get stuck to the floor. Great view, great outdoor area in the summer.

Very nice location. Service depends on who's there. There's good staff, and some less attentive staff. But always very friendly.

The location, the view of the Rhine, and the decor are truly beautiful. The food, however, should be the main focus. Unfortunately, it was more poor than mediocre. A pizza doesn't have to be huge. It just has to be well-topped. My filled pasta wasn't cooked. But the kids don't get charged. Unfortunately, there were a few stink bugs on the wall that I had to get rid of first. If you value ambiance, you'll feel at home here.

The restaurant has a beautiful location directly on the Rhine. Parking is available in a large parking lot with a parking disc, a 5-minute walk away. Overall, it was a lovely evening there, but the food was a bit disappointing. The pasta was very good, but the pasta dish with green asparagus, for example, contained green beans, and the waiters were a bit confused. It might have been acceptable for one dish, but two of us ordered this dish, and both were the same. Even with the cacio e pepe, you had to search for the pepper.

The waiter was super nice and attentive, the food was very tasty; I had pasta with rice. A beautiful view of the Rhine.

We went there for breakfast. The food was freshly prepared with delicious ingredients. Fresh, hot, and delicious coffee. The service staff was super friendly and attentive. The ambiance was truly lovely. A place to feel good.

I went there after a while. Food and drinks for four people. The location is lovely if you can sit outside. The service was excellent, attentive, and friendly! The food itself, pasta and bowls. The bowls were so heavy on the stomach...

Our visit was unfortunately very disappointing. Although the restaurant wasn't full and other guests near us received their food after 20 minutes, we had to wait 45 minutes for our food – without any feedback from the staff. We even specifically asked at the beginning whether we should order the baby's food in advance as an appetizer in case it took longer. The waitress said it wasn't necessary – it would be quick. In fact, we ended up waiting an hour, and even the appetizer (4 bruschetta) took 30 minutes. When we asked for bread, as my father is diabetic and urgently needed something, there was no response. The waitress disappeared completely after that. One member of our group went to the counter to inquire – the employee there promised to take care of it, but then calmly made coffee first. When we finally asked several times, we were insulted and treated rudely. My father then started to raise his voice because the situation was becoming critical—both for his health and for the baby, whom we had to keep entertained the whole time. The waitress simply told us to take care of it outside because we were disturbing the other guests. Only one waitress apologized later; the other two who had treated us disrespectfully ignored us completely. The bottom line: long waits, no understanding of special situations, poor service, and a completely unprofessional approach to guests. We will definitely not be back.

Great spot on the water with plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors. We were there in the fall (September), so it was very quiet. The service and food were excellent. The amenities were excellent.

I used to really enjoy Purinos, and this is the first time I've returned after about six years. Unfortunately, a few things have changed: The cocktails are now only 0.3 liters, but they cost the same as large drinks elsewhere. The portions have also become significantly smaller, which I find a shame. I was particularly impressed by the restrooms – they were unfortunately very dirty. However, I would like to highlight the staff, who were very friendly and attentive.

Plenty of parking, but unfortunately the parking lot is poorly lit. The food, service, and atmosphere are all excellent. Highly recommended, I'll be back.

The ingredients in the bowls weren't fresh. For example, the sweet potato cubes and the cauliflower risotto were a bit moldy.

Expensive and incredibly noisy location. My kids hated it but enjoyed the close proximity to the Rhein River.

The view is truly beautiful, and it's a great place to stop for a drink. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress us at all. The portions were large, but the flavor wasn't great. The pasta was mushy, and the beef tartare tasted rather mushy and bland. My husband had a pizza, which was okay, but nothing special.

Prices were very reasonable, with a nice selection and arrangement, including homemade dips. We'd be happy to come back. Caution: Parking requires a parking disc from Friday to Sunday – this is also monitored.

Purino is worth a visit. The food is always extremely good, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The view of the Rhine creates a particularly beautiful ambiance. We always enjoy coming here for special occasions. A particularly good thing is that children up to 6 years old eat and drink free. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, there weren't enough staff on hand, or the staff that was there weren't well-organized. Some worked well and quickly, but others, unfortunately, didn't. As a result, some things were forgotten and took too long. Breakfast was excellent, as always.

Good, fast food and a great location. The only thing that's really annoying is the sheer number of wasps. I know it's probably not the restaurant's fault, but I've rarely been surrounded by so many wasps as there.

We ordered pizzas, but unfortunately, they weren't what we had hoped for. The crust was ultra-thin, tasteless, and there were peppers on a salami pizza, which was completely unwelcome. But since we were hungry, we ate at least some of it. The drinks in the kids' menu were way too small, a joke. On the other hand, the kids' pizzas were almost identical in size to the regular ones, which shouldn't have been the case. They apparently ran out of apple juice in the apple juice spritzer, and only after complaining were we brought a small extra glass of apple juice. Unbelievable, any other restaurant would have replaced the entire glass immediately.

The ambiance and food were very good. Gluten-free pasta was also available. One star deducted for the long wait between meals.

Extremely bad service at 19:50 on 20 May 2025. You have to wait ages for Ester, drinks, food. All waiters are rude, unprofessional and not attentive. The location is great but the service is unbelievable bad. Such a pity! Food was below average too.

We had a celebration with around 50 guests at Purino Mannheim on Friday, May 16th – family, friends, and colleagues – and it was simply perfect! The communication beforehand was excellent: friendly, uncomplicated, and very professional. On the evening itself, everything was perfectly organized. We had our own area of ​​the restaurant, so we could celebrate undisturbed – we even managed to give two speeches without disturbing the other guests or being disturbed ourselves. The food was a real highlight! The appetizer platter was fantastic, and the smaller menu with bowls, pizza, and pasta was fresh, delicious, and absolutely plentiful – everyone was full, and some guests even had leftovers packed away. To top it all off, we had beautifully decorated dessert platters with ice cream, strawberry cake, chocolate mousse, and little cakes – a real treat for the eyes and the palate! The venue itself is beautiful – stylish and cozy at the same time – and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I couldn't have wished for a better location for this special occasion. We'll definitely be back – for smaller private gatherings as well as larger business events. A huge thank you to the entire team at Purino Mannheim!

The starters were really delicious, especially the salmon and avocado tartar, and the desserts were delicious. The main course, however, was underwhelming. The pizza had hardly any flavor; the base was nice and thin, perfect for an Italian pizza, but it tasted and felt like cardboard. The drinks were lukewarm, and there was no carbonation in the Coke. The service and the wait times were very long. The ambiance itself is truly beautiful, the location is perfect, and the restaurant looks wonderful.

For the atmosphere 5 stars because of the beautiful view of the Rhine..... food was not impressive and you have to wait a long time for the waiters...

Wir waren nicht zum 1 Mal hier zu frühstücken. Jedoch dieses Mal war es leider nicht gut. Reservierter Tisch war nicht sauber. Die Gläser klebten am Tisch. Die Bestecke waren alle samt schmutzig in der Servierte. Wir könnten den Tisch wechsen, das Lokal noch nicht gut besucht war. Um so mehr hat es uns geärgert, dass wir 40 Minuten auf ein Frühstück warten mussten. Das Personal war jedoch sehr freundlich. Ein Kellner allerdings trug eine Schürze, die wirklich sehr alte und viele Flecken hatte. Und das um 11.30 Uhr morgens. Die Hose hatte auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Zum Frühstück gibt es leider auch nichts besonderes zu sagen. Der Käse war abgetrocknet und die Auswahl (Menge) allgemein für ein Zweierfrühstück... Na ja. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und hatten von den letzten Besuchen, Besseres in Erinnerung. Für uns war es das.

I had the Pasta alla Fattoria as part of a family dinner. Very generous portions and very, very tasty. I can only recommend it.

Wir waren als Familie zum Geburtstag bei Purino essen und waren mit dem Service, dem Essen, den Getränken und der Location sehr zufrieden. Zwei unserer Gerichte haben wir von der Spezialkarte gewählt, die direkt auf dem Tisch steht und saisonal ist. Die hausgemachten Ravioli haben uns besonders geschmeckt und auch das Kalbsfleisch (Spezialkarte) war sehr zart und lecker zubereitet. Der Salat war frisch und knackig und der Nachtisch (Crema Nero) ein köstlicher Abschluss. Für das Geburtstagskind gab es einen kostenlosen alkoholfreien Cocktail (Ipanema), der auch sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Wir saßen in einer gemütlichen Sitzniesche auf Bänken und hatten einen schönen Blick auf den Rhein. Im Hintergrund spielte angenehme Loungemusik, die gut zum Ambiente gepasst hat und wenig aufdringlich war, so dass man sich in normaler Lautstärke unterhalten konnte. Eine Reservierung (online möglich) ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Preis war bei der Qualität des Essens mehr als angemessen, das Personal überaus freundlich und die Wartezeit aufs Essen (ca. 30 Minuten) nicht zu lang. Alles in allem war es ein sehr gelungener Abend und definitiv nicht der letzte Besuch!

Contrary to my expectations, due to some of the bad reviews, we were pleasantly surprised by the food, the service and the great table with an excellent view of the Rhine. The starters were delicious, including: Aioli bread and salads. The pizza was really good and I would particularly like to highlight the pasta, al dente, with spinach and gorgonzola sauce, great! It was very busy, but the good service was up to the task. The table reservation online worked well.

Big surprise! Beach resorts are actually places where I rarely go. Restaurants in beach resorts usually stink of old fryer grease, sunscreen and bitburgers. The Purino is different. Everything is really right here. The menu is pleasantly structured and not too overwhelming, a lot of it is homemade and everything is very tasty. The staff is friendly and professional, the service is quick, the atmosphere is very pleasantly quiet (it was Monday lunchtime, it's probably busier on Saturdays). All in all a wonderful restaurant - clear recommendation!

On Saturday we had breakfast at PURINO Mannheim with 30 people. The service was very courteous, attentive and competent. The selection and quality of the food was fantastic. Location is very nice, but that's the only positive thing. We waited over an hour for the drinks (which only tasted like syrup), food came after 2 hours and 15 minutes. There was a hair on the pizza, all the salt shakers were empty, the service was stressed and unprofessional. Unfortunately no recommendation.

The only positive thing is the view of the Rhine. I think the price is way too high for what you get. The taste was ok but nothing special either.
