Goal: a quick bite to eat before the concert. We asked passersby, and they pointed to the Adria across the street. At first glance, it wasn't very inviting, but she said the pizzeria had been there forever. Okay, let's try it. The Adria is older than old school *laughs* Inside, there's a lot of wood, and the tables, cards, and cutlery are from the 80s. The service was curt. But what can we say: solid food – we were pleasantly surprised. Absolutely fair prices.

The food was good and I enjoyed the session. Most of them were families and young people. The atmosphere is popular and takes you back to simplicity, not the high prices of food like other restaurants or cafes. I recommend visiting them.

I'm a native Mannheimer and ate my first pizza there in 1980. The Adria was a favorite for me for years... Unfortunately, I ate one of the worst pizzas there yesterday... Regulars describe it as an experience... What a shame. Still a Mannheim institution, but please change the chef...

You sit here for two hours and wait for your food... if you ask, the service still yells at you. No longer recommended, was once a gem but please avoid it now.

We just wanted a cappuccino/latte macchiato. Both were served in half-full teacups and clearly came from a capsule machine. They were pretty undrinkable and lukewarm at best. We were told that was the Italian way... We paid €3.40 for the "Italian way." They didn't have that there before. Not recommended.

As always, a delicious visit! If you like great pizza, pasta, or ice cream and enjoy sitting outside, this is the place for you. The prices are also perfectly reasonable. Since they added a fence to the outdoor seating facing the street, visiting with our children (4 and 9 years old) has been very relaxing. If you like lukewarm and stale draft beer, this is the place for you. Bottled beer is okay. Better anyway, because otherwise they only serve Eichbaum or Bitburger... You can eat. Simple cuisine with excellent value for money

I recommend it if you have constipation problems. It has a laxative effect after just a few hours. The salami on the pizza is disgusting and smells bad. The only positive thing is the friendly staff.

The Adriatic Sea is simply legendary. Sure, the food isn't the best, but it's cheaper than anywhere else. Plus, the location is great, the service is friendly, and you always run into someone you know.

The risotto tastes quite delicious. But more like normal rice with a watery tomato sauce and a few mushrooms. A far cry from the creamy risotto I know from Italy.

We had dinner there, I had a spagetti dish, spagetti carbonara and my friend had a pizza. I was very satisfied, the dish was well seasoned, the quantity was generous and my friend was also very satisfied. The price is unbeatable for the amount we got. The location is great, very close to the Neckar Bridge. We came hungry and left full. Also highly recommended if you want to eat something quickly and spontaneously. We'll be back. The people who always have something to complain about here might be happier with mini portions at exorbitant prices and without seasoning. 😀

We have been to the "Adria" many times over the years, but today we were disappointed several times. The waitress (male) was quite unfriendly when ordering. When the sundae sundae came, there was cherry sauce over the cream instead of eggnog. When we complained about this, the waitress seemed annoyed and took the sundae away and came back a few minutes later with the eggnog on the cream. Then the napkins were missing from all the ice cream sundaes and here too, when asked, there was a slight sigh and a surprised, unfriendly look and he brought some. The pizza was a disaster. Ordered Magharita pizza. I actually thought you couldn't go wrong, but I was shocked. Pizza dough was as hard as anything, the tomato sauce was too sour. Didn't taste like anything. Never again!

In der Stadt unterwegs, wollten wir nach einem Straßenfest noch spontan eine Kleinigkeit essen. Draußen war noch etwas frei, der freundliche Kellner kam schnell und nach wenigen Minuten dann auch die Getränke und unsere Speisen. Wir hatten Pommes und ein Thunfischbrötchen bestellt, deswegen kann ich zu den "richtigen" Hauptspeisen wie Pizza oder Nudelgerichten nichts sagen. Es gibt eine sehr umfangreiche Karte und das macht mich immer skeptisch, weil es dann nach meiner Erfahrung oft Convenienceprodukte sind. Die Pommes waren gut, es war eine üppige Portion; das andere Gericht war ein Brötchen mit Dosenthunfisch belegt. Da hätte etwas Gewürz oder eine kleine Garnitur wie ein paar Tomatenscheiben, Basilikum o.ä. noch ganz gut gepasst. Die Aussicht auf den Alten Messplatz hat was, wenn man sich nicht an dem vielen Verkehr stört. Ich würde auf einen Happen oder ein Getränk wieder kommen, weil man einfach schön sitzt und das zentral gelegene Lokal den ganzen Tag über geöffnet ist. Zum "richtig" essen gehen würde ich wohl eher woanders hingehen.

You had to wait a long time until a service came. Then we waited another 20 minutes until the drinks came. We weren't happy with the food - the pizza was very light and soft, the salad that came with the schnitzel wasn't delivered, not even after being asked twice, and the fries were almost raw. The second dressing was missing from the Italian salad (none on the salad, but in a gravy boat) Separate payment, nothing was deducted from the salad even though something was missing and I still had to pay for the missing salad from the schnitzel.

If you like it cold and dark in winter, if you like it when it drips from the ceiling and if you like bad products at a reasonably reasonable price, this is the place for you. Ok, the cult character with everything for and again gives an extra point.

Einfach nur schmuddelig, die Toiletten sind schmutzig, es gab keine Papierhandtücher, der Handtrockner hat auch nicht funktioniert, wenn man aus dem kleinen Kellerfenster schaut, stapelt sich der Dreck, Laub und Blätter. Zudem Stand im Restaurant, im Innenbereich, direkt am Eingang, eine Aschenbechersäule, gefüllt und randvoll mit Zigarettenstummeln. Nach dem Restaurantbesuch haben meine Kleider gestunken als wäre ich in einer Frittenbude, wobei die Pommes nach Backofenpommes aussahen.

Any time of day and any day of the week, summer or winter! When the sun is shining 🌞, no matter whether it's cold or hot, you can sit outside for a short or long time, for a quick coffee ☕️, another drink or to eat. The waitresses are always nice, but sometimes you are overlooked... that's no ill will, just report it to the counter...then everything will be fine again. The Adriatic square is a meeting point, also for children, as the Rindones also offer their own ice cream 🍨, I think even in winter!
