A very large, generously topped Pizza Rustia, which has everything a good pizza should have. Unfortunately, it's severely hampered by the extremely thin pizza base. It would be a perfect pizza otherwise. I much prefer traditional Italian street food pizzas that you can actually eat by hand. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and excellent. It's just the pizza base that needs improvement.

As always, the food was superb, simply delicious, and the service was as usual. No complaints whatsoever!

The food was delicious and appealing all around, and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the noise level bothered me. The echo in the room is already difficult to suppress, and with the loud music, it became a real challenge for the ears. You only stay as long as necessary. 😉 My second point of criticism is the new method of soliciting tips via credit card reader. 🤨

Despite the extremely busy atmosphere, and without having made a reservation, we got a table for six within five minutes. The service was very attentive, friendly, and efficient. The pizza was excellent 👍. Completely satisfied.

Service is okay, but the store is always very busy, and the prices are ridiculously high these days. Overall, it's okay to go there occasionally, but the Mannheim location in particular is always very hectic.

We spontaneously decided to go to L’Osteria Mannheim as a group of four, without a reservation. Even though it was completely full, we still managed to get a table! The service was absolutely top-notch nonetheless!!! Quick, attentive, and incredibly warm. A huge thank you to Salvatore and his fantastic team, who are so passionate about what they do. The food was, as always, incredibly delicious. :) We'll definitely be back!

I had a Margherita pizza at L’Osteria and it was delicious fresh. The place was very busy, so it’s best to reserve in the evening. Without a reservation, we waited about 10–15 minutes, but it was worth it. Great spot for quick pizza!

We were there for dinner with the team. Our English-speaking boss was immediately given an English menu, and the staff adapted to her language needs right away. Perfect. The pizzas were delicious and, of course, too big, but there's enough for one more later. The service was friendly, quick, and efficient. The restaurant was very busy, so it was quite noisy. But that's to be expected, as you can tell from the reservation how popular it is. We were also delighted with the pasta and especially the appetizers. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The atmosphere is more like a train station restaurant. The staff are all very, very friendly and helpful! The food is okay, the pizza is huge and the plate too small; you feel a bit overwhelmed while eating. The salad tasted average.

The food was tasty, but there could have been more of it. The pizza had burnt, black holes covered with mozzarella. The zoodles with prawns only had four prawns in the entire portion.

The pizza was absolutely fantastic; I've rarely eaten such a delicious pizza. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the trash cans and ashtrays right next to our table were emptied or repacked into bags or something. That was really disgusting and smelled awful; you don't need that while you're eating—a definite no-go. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service.

I ordered pizzas for takeaway by phone. When I arrived, I was seated at the bar and completely ignored. After a long wait, I went to the counter myself – the pizzas were already cooked and ready on the oven. Nobody had said anything. Naturally, they were ice cold when I got home. Very disappointing considering the price – the service was truly awful.

Very large pizzas and a nice pizzeria. Good location, but on weekends there's often a queue outside, so reservations are recommended; delivery via Lieferando is also possible.

The pizza was really good and huge – absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the tomato soup was quite bland, and a piece of bread would have been nice. The process was also a bit unfortunate: I got the soup well before the pizza, so my companion and I had to stagger our meals. While the service was friendly and attentive, we had to wait quite a while for our drink orders to be taken, which somewhat spoiled the overall impression. Another negative point: Towards the end, the neighboring table was wiped down with a rag that smelled so unpleasant it almost made me throw up. Perhaps they should change the rags more often – that would really be a small change with a big impact.

Thank you for your service yesterday! The manager, in particular, is such a warm-hearted person and takes wonderful care of the guests, even when the place was extremely busy on a Saturday night. We all had different dishes: salad, pasta, lasagna, pizza, and everything was fantastic, as were the desserts and drinks. We'd be happy to come back anytime!

We visited L'Osteria in Mannheim today and had reserved a table in advance. Although we had to wait a few minutes upon arrival because the previous table was still occupied, the service was very friendly – ​​as a small compensation, we received a free bottle of water, which we found really thoughtful. Service is good. In the evening, everything was very crowded; at the next table, there was very loud conversation in a foreign language and wild gesticulation throughout the evening. Children screamed loudly for over half an hour without any attention from their parents or the restaurant.

I've been there many times, but today was the best. Very nice staff, extremely friendly and child-friendly. They had a special heart-shaped children's pizza. We had a great time and enjoyed both the delicious pizza and the treatment. The best restaurant in Mannheim so far.

Eating under time pressure! Very polite and attentive service. The food was very good, but the four of us had a 6:30 p.m. reservation. Unfortunately, we were told we had to finish by 8 p.m. because the table was reserved for the next guests at 8 p.m. Eating under time pressure? No thanks. The pizzas are huge, thin base and so much flavour. I opted for the half n half option. Toppings very fresh. Atmosphere is lively even at 2pm on a Monday.

The experience there depends on the waiter. The food is excellent. Some waiters are subpar, rude, and slow. It's a shame! It ruins the entire experience.

A while ago, I ordered lasagna at a restaurant...it was still frozen inside. Yesterday, I had mezzelune delivered...they were so al dente that they stuck in my throat. That was my last attempt at ordering pasta at an Italian restaurant here.

As always, a great visit to L'Osteria! The food was delicious as usual – I especially recommend the mezzalune with spinach and the pasta arrabiata (although the arrabiata isn't for those who don't like spicy food 😉). Kudos also to the waiter: Although it was only his first day, he was very friendly, attentive, and created a truly authentic feeling with his Italian charm. We felt completely at home. The music was just a bit too loud. But we'd be happy to go back.

We've been to other restaurants in this wonderful Italian chain. The staff here is super friendly and quickly finds a place to sit. The pizza is quite large and tasty. We went on a Saturday, so we could park for free, and there are plenty of parking spaces nearby. The views from the terrace overlooking the park make the stay even more enjoyable. We went for lunch as a team. The pizzas 🍕 are pleasantly large, and the pasta dishes are big enough even if you're hungry.

We have been eating there more than 3 years is one of the best Italian restaurant's! But they have changed the cheese( and maybe more) after the 01.01.23 at least that's what me and my friends tasted last time. We understand why but we preferred the previous one better! Still one of the best though!( That was my review from 2023) After last night 29.08.25 it was our last time there,now they have changed and the pizza bread is more like a Flammkuchen. Nothing remains from the original Italian pizza. Never again. Big disappointment 😞

I've visited a few L'Osterias recently (Mannheim, Nuremberg, Heilbronn, etc.). Unfortunately, I discovered that the quality (toppings too thin, hard floor) is no longer what it used to be. On the contrary, the price has risen significantly. I'll avoid this Osteria for a while. Hoping things will improve.

L'Osteria is beautifully situated with a view of the water tower! Unfortunately, the service was very poor from start to finish; it took about 20 minutes for us to order our drinks and food. The drinks and the actual food arrived quickly, and it was truly delicious (we shared a pizza). After the meal, the plates were cleared away again about 30 minutes later! I ordered an espresso, for which I had to wait another 15 minutes! At least the bill was handled quickly! It's a great place to eat, but you'll need to be prepared for plenty of time!

We came to your place for lunch today and immediately noticed that we were almost in Italy. We were welcomed by a truly Italian host and we felt very comfortable. The pasta wasn't that great but the manager with his charming and extremely positive manner and above all his positive energy simply blew us away. This was my first time there and I wouldn't go back. The Coke wasn't carbonated and was eventually replaced, but unfortunately, there was no difference. The pizza was very dry and barely edible. The pasta had no flavor because the sauce was so watery. Unfortunately, I wouldn't go back.

Last time we had pluxee coupon n manager said they accept for same there is no limit. Yesterday we had visited n then new manager told us they accept per pizza one coupon. So new manager new rule . So pathetic. Coupon generated by company by person at home. Pathetic person.

I have ordered a BBQ Pizza, and after the first one got burnt, I got my second one after almost 25 minutes. Then after few bites, I found a hair inside it which is absolutely disgusting. They apologised for this mistake and let me not pay for my Pizza. But that should be not enough! Such restaurants, must adhere the most hygienic methods in cooking as possible. The question remains: how they will prevent such a thing to other customers? I am almost certain that they will not take any measures for such a thing. But let’s see!

I ordered food for delivery and the delivery time was quoted as 30-45 minutes. Unfortunately, it ended up taking 1.5 hours, and the pizza was cold. I can't recommend it!

Losteria pizza is always just big. It's never really great. Simply dry. The salad is also very unspectacular.

I generally like the chain, but there are certain things I expect as standard. This includes, for example, that if I make a reservation for three people with a stroller, a suitable table will be available. Instead, they frantically searched for a table, offered an impractical solution, and finally, we, the parents, had to prepare a table for ourselves. Also, the heating behind the bench was on. All unfortunate, and I actually expect more when making a reservation.

When I pay by card, why do I have to enter the tip percentage first under the supervision of the server? If I give a tip, it's for the server (perhaps they share it with the chef) and not for the boss. It's absolutely none of the boss's business; he earns enough.

The risotto was very good. The price and portions were well-balanced.
