Hier kann man im sich im sehr angenehmen flair eine riesige Pizza teilen. Meine Familie haben ein Nudelgericht und einen Salat gewählt, die Stärke und Qualität des Restaurants scheint die Pizza zu sein ;-)

Tisch gebucht, samstags für den Hochzeitstag, Reservierung nochmals bestätigt, Gegenbestätigung von OpenTable erhalten und dann... ...vor verschlossener Tür gestanden!!! Planung im A..., Abend versaut, danke für gar nichts! Dachte eigentlich, mein neues Stammlokal gefunden zu haben (nachdem das C5 geschlossen hat), aber jetzt muss ich mich wohl neu umschauen.

Super restaurant : bon rapport qualité-prix, cadre très agréable : grande terrasse et grande salle super jolie. Les serveurs sont agréables, rapides et la cuisine est très bonne.

Very loud / very stuffy / but food very tasty.. not recommended if you want to eat in a quiet atmosphere

We got a spot without a reservation on a Friday evening. The waiters were all very polite, asked us about our well-being and brought the food very promptly after we ordered. The food was very tasty and especially the pizza was perfect for the price. In addition, the location is very pleasant and central - you just feel really comfortable.

Uncomfortable because of loud music and quite crowded. People didn't understand each other or couldn't have a conversation. The last meal came when the first one had already eaten... That's not what you expect when you go out to eat. The pasta dish was a mini portion, but everything was tasty.

We had dinner there with friends yesterday. If you look at the prices of the pizza, oops! BUT: It's not a pizza, but a monster pizza - delicious and big. Then the price is rather cheap. ;-) Tables are too small for 3 x pizza and 1x pasta.... Absolutely top. If we're in the area again, we'll eat there.

Even in an emergency situation like the Animagic trade fair in Rosengarten, the top service staff can still serve all guests 👍 The pizzas are significantly larger than the ones from the freezer compartment, of course because they are visibly made fresh on site.

We had reserved a table online for lunch. You will be asked about the occasion. I announced this, my son's birthday. Just wondering why when there isn't even a little attention. In addition, there was no table ready for us so we could sit down somewhere. As for the food, the pizzas were very good, but the lasagne was a disaster. Probably made in advance and then warmed in the oven or microwave. One of them was still cold, so I gave it back. But the taste wasn't great either. I found the staff very unmotivated and not particularly friendly. The atmosphere goes like this. All in all, I would not recommend Mannheim. It's better to go to Viernheim, everything is fine there. It's very good there and there's a great atmosphere

A picture says more than 1000 words. It wasn't just the vegan melt that was out, which of course was only said after ordering and then the extra charge was generously taken back. I have no idea how the store here has over 4⭐️….

Sehr unfreundlich, vor allem der Manager. Er wollte bestimmen, wie lange wir am Tisch bleiben sollen (nur 1,5 Stunden), und hat am Ende gesagt: "Wir sollen bezahlen und gehen." So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Eine Frechheit, vor allem weil wir den Tisch schon vor 2 Wochen reserviert hatten und von nur 1,5 Stunden keine Rede war. Wir haben unsere Vorspeisen und Getränke bestellt und wollten noch mehr bestellen, und dann kam das. So etwas habe ich noch nie in Mannheim erlebt, und dort brauche ich nie wieder hinzugehen. (Ein offener, herzlicher Ort, an dem man so sein darf, wie man ist und sich wie zu Hause fühlt.) Passt gar nicht! Wie jemand anders hier bereits geschrieben hat: "Zum Glück gibt es andere Restaurants in Mannheim."

Pure chaos and greatly diminished! We recently visited this restaurant and were unfortunately very disappointed. The pasta we ordered was hard and clearly not cooked properly. We also had to wait far too long for our food to be served. The service was anything but accommodating or friendly. To make matters worse, the pizza we ordered had a burnt crust. The other guests around us also seemed dissatisfied. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The food was delicious, the service Wafaa is very friendly and accommodating. Nice charisma. The overall ambience is nice, but loud.

It was very nice, gave a good vibe and the service (Nadia) was excellent, very friendly and took good care of the customers. The food was very good. I will definitely come back again.

Very rude staff. Despite the reservation, we had to wait a long time at the door and even though we were seen, no one came to us. It's embarrassing for guests visiting Heidelberg for the first time. Not recommendable.

Traveling again and stopped at L,Osteria...even though the restaurant was full you could comfortably wait outside for your table with a drink. I received a very friendly welcome. You can get a drink at the bar while you wait, the friendly bartender (I meant that ironically) should learn something from his colleagues at reception. The sound makes the music, I couldn't understand it because of the volume... I asked twice and didn't think it was funny... Still a great view of the water tower, with delicious pizza as you're used to, they're just huge... .and delicious. Thanks to the rest of the staff, always worth a visit

Nice restaurant, fast friendly service, good food. BUT! Unfortunately, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Many tables were dirty, the dishes are cleared but the tables are not wiped or only occasionally wiped.

We ate here today and will definitely not come back. We reserved a table more than two months in advance (for a special occasion) and arrived more than on time for our reservation. Although there were still many tables available outside, we weren't allowed to sit there because "unfortunately they're all reserved" - of course, that's exactly why I made the reservation 10 weeks in advance! At least one of these tables was reserved for us, but we were only allowed to choose between “inside” or “go”. After resigning ourselves to being labeled as second-class guests and getting a seat inside, we were able to order quickly. Afterwards, however, we had to watch as the pizzas we ordered sat on the plates at the counter for almost 10 minutes. When they were finally served to us, they were ice cold. We at least asked to put it in the oven again for a short time and were met with incomprehension about wanting a warm pizza. Ultimately our table was cleared and the question was “Can I clear it now?” - but we couldn’t answer because our mouths were still full and we were still in the middle of eating. Especially since the plates were cleared away before the question had even been properly asked. When paying, we were thoroughly informed about the options for tipping, but we politely declined because we see tips as additional remuneration for good performance. There wasn't too much of that here. I've been thinking for a while about whether and how I want to rate it, but in the end I can only give the worst rating. The pizza was cold, the service was bad (both at the door and at the table), the taste was ok, but nothing special and not worth the hassle. Unfortunately, the visit here devalued the day.

Went to L`Osteria in Mannheim today with colleagues/the company. The best thing first: the food was great - highly recommended. Unfortunately you can't say that about the service/ambience. Due to the high occupancy, there is a “large canteen atmosphere” and the service and the kitchen are overloaded. For example, I only got my "Bruscetta" (starter!) after I told you about it, 5 minutes after receiving the main course! A pity!

We had ordered several pizzas for a party at the Losteria over the past few days. The online order went well and the pizza was ready for pickup on time. But the pizza itself bordered on being cheeky. With a pizza we also ordered salami for 2.50 euros. For this 2.50 euros there were exactly 3 slices of salami on the pizza. The Hawaiian pizza that was delivered to you could have easily passed for a Margherita, with so few toppings. Next time it would be better to go somewhere else.

Service is good. Everything was very crowded, there were foreigners at the next table who were shouting loudly in a foreign language and gesturing all evening long and couldn't really control their children.

We had a very nice waitress and a nice seat. Food was delicious as always. It's nice that there's vegan pizza cheese - but it's a shame the 3€ surcharge... the pizza isn't super cheap anyway and so you can quickly get to 17-20 euros for a normal (vegan) pizza.

Nice location, good food. Service but a bit weak. Waited a long time for the drinks. The food arrived quickly but the drinks didn't arrive yet. It was okay, but for such a generally good restaurant it should be better organized.

I was there yesterday with my girls, delicious pizza, enough for 2! Delicious drinks, good service, everything was great!

Unfortunately the service was very bad. We had to wait a very long time for payment, a waiter never came by to ask if everything was okay / if we wanted anything else or wanted to pay. After paying, the waiter didn't even say goodbye, instead he turned around and left. A goodbye would be the least!

I ate a salad that was very tasty and fed me well 🥰🥰 My friends ate different pizzas and were very satisfied I loved the Italian class in the bathroom sound 🤣😍 Beautiful atmosphere and good service.

Delicious food at acceptable prices.

Large pizzas 🍕 are like a trademark of the L Osteria, located directly at the water tower. Simply delicious 😋 (large selection) and suitable for a wonderful evening for two or more. Very nicely located with a view of the water tower and water features simply impressive. The restaurant also offers a great atmosphere inside, very nice and friendly staff. If you just want to take your order with you, order by phone and pick it up. Everything is possible. Enjoy a wonderful day evening and crown it with a beautiful ending.

The food is typical of a L'Osteria. Located close to the water tower, it's nice and pleasant to sit outside. Service was attentive. The only thing I would like to say for improvement would be: I think it would be good if the bread were automatically included with the salad or starter without you having to explicitly ask for it. I also think it would be nice if salt and pepper and oil were also brought to the table and you didn't have to request them separately. Otherwise: great visit in a great location, with delicious food. Happy to come back!

Nice seating both indoors and outdoors with a view of the water tower. Very friendly and courteous service. The food is delicious, both the pasta dishes and the pizzas. We hadn't eaten any salads, but they looked very good. The pizzas are huge and you can watch them being prepared. The price-performance ratio is right. What's also amusing is that you get a little Italian course in the toilet. We can recommend LOsteria and will come back.

Food is good, pizza is oversized but pasta unfortunately has children's portions. Restaurant designed so that people sit on top of each other. Delivery takes a very long time and is very expensive.

Eight of us were at l'osteria in Mannheim during our lunch break today. The food is delicious. Beef fillet strips, which were wonderfully fried. Nothing dry. The sauce is wonderfully balanced. Not too much. My colleagues had 2x pizza, spaghetti, pasta and also a salad. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The salad with strips of beef fillet were wonderfully fried. Not dry. The colleagues were also satisfied. There is still a lot of manual work in the kitchen. You can look into the kitchen through a window. The waitresses are on their toes and despite being stressed and busy, they are always very friendly in Mannheim. I always enjoy coming to l'osteria in Mannheim.

Really delicious pizza, service is friendly and fast. Clean toilets with Italian language course 🤣. Dogs are allowed, we will come again.

First of all, we were greeted at the entrance by a tall, nice young man and shown to the square. Afterwards we waited about 10 minutes for a waitress to serve us. A young blonde lady with glasses took our simple order incorrectly instead of 1 Funghi and 1 Caesar Pollo we got half of both for 2 people. As if that wasn't enough, the horror continued that we were given 2 wines instead of 2 spritzers. We also waited 15 minutes after consumption for the bill. I can only strongly recommend that the shop owner not hire incompetent students who can neither use a tablet nor a guest. 5 waiters just chatting. Only the nice, tall young man was working outside at the time. The incident occurred between 5:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. -> INVEST MORE IN QUALITATIVE SERVICE!!!

You can hardly have a conversation, it's very loud inside. The service staff probably didn't have a good day with us: they brought the wrong order, passed the order across the table to me so that it almost fell down, completely forgot about repeat orders, this only happened after I asked again... etc.

The pizzas are really mega and taste very tasty! And no long waiting time, the service is also good.

Leider hatten wir heute Pech bei unserem Restaurant Besuch. Längere Wartezeit bis wir bedient wurden, obwohl noch nicht viel los war. Wir hatten Pizzas und einen großen Salat bestellt. Die Pizzas dauerten und dauerten (wir waren mit Kindern da, die Hunger hatten), waren maximal lauwarm. Der Salat kam erst, als wir schon fast fertig waren. Ich wollte ihn gerade abbestellen. Das war sehr schade, da wir besseres von unseren da vorigen Besuchen gewohnt waren. Es gab auch keine Entschuldigung oder Erklärung 😏

We wanted to go out for a leisurely meal of pasta. We thought you couldn't go wrong with pasta, but here we were shown that it is possible. Waited over an hour. Since no one took our order at first, only after we spoke to several waiters. Then I got the wrong dish, I ordered a vegetarian pasta but what was served was pasta with carbonara. So my husband ate his almost cold meal alone and I had to wait again for my food. Excellent. I couldn't imagine anything better.

I wanted to be convinced and ate here for the first time and was very disappointed. Before you bring something to the table, you should make sure that everything is correct and in the green area! Absolute disaster never again!!!

Yesterday we visited you and ordered pizza. We really like the atmosphere and the food. BUT, the pizza had almost no toppings, it was so big that there were only 5 pieces of salami and two tomatoes for the whole pizza. More than half of the pizza was just Margherita and you didn't really recognize it as a salami pizza.

The reserved table was not free - waiting time could not be specified.

The food is good, the staff friendly. We had to wait quite a long time until we were assigned a free seat. That speaks for the quality of the restaurant. You can also sit outside, but you'll be sitting in "through traffic". It's very loud inside.

We took a weekend trip to Mannheim and visited L'Osteria during the trip. Although we had reserved a table two weeks before our stay, we were openly and honestly informed at the entrance that our reservation had been forgotten. However, we were still allocated a table for two people without waiting. Afterwards we were served very nicely by the service and the salad and the pasta dish were served to us quickly. The two dishes were very tasty and made up for us. Unfortunately there was a little misunderstanding over dessert. The Panne Cotta was very tasty and served correctly. However, the chocolate mousse with creme di fragola was initially served with cherries. After a note to the waitress, we received the appropriate dessert at no extra charge. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay, especially the service staff were very friendly.

Very friendly staff! Fast, delicious food in a modern, cozy atmosphere! However, the music is too loud. That wasn't "background music" 😆 Definitely coming back!!
