Ristorante - Pizzeria Luigi in Bremen

Ich hatte mit normaler italienischer Standardküche gerechnet und wurde mit außergewöhnlich leckerem Essen überrascht. Keine Standardsalat, sondern mit leckerer Soße und das Steak mit Champignons und Zwiebeln war ein Gedicht.Schmackhafte italienische Küche, fast wie in Italien. Hier kommen wir gerne wieder

Waited over an hour to get our food, appetizer never came, then tried to charge us 10 euro for a bottle of water. The food we ended up taking tp go was ok, nothing special.

Many other businesses tried their luck where now Luigi is located and it seems the restaurant has found a place to stay for good. Named after the owner, a Venezuelan gentleman called Luis, the place is close enough to the core of Bremen and provides a quiet shaded corner overlooking the river Moser. Too bad the site besides brings a lot of insects and one must be aware the restaurant can't do much about it. The kitchen opens for dinner orders at 17h and the place is famous for its pizza. Chef's suggestions are changed on a regular basis and always include a vegetarian meal. Prices are downtown standard, which means some 15-20% higher than what they really should cost. Portions are generous and food is delicious, maybe the pasta could have a little more meat bits. One doesn't get much noise from the main street beside, so a nice table outdoors for a business meeting, a romantic gathering or just a quick meal turns out to be a good choice.

Been here twice over the past few weeks and the food is absolutely lovely! Sat outside as the weather was nice and it’s in a good location, great service as well
