Food on site is superbly prepared and looks delicious every time. The food is also very good for pick up. I've never had to wait longer than 15 minutes. A very, very good restaurant that I look forward to every time. :)

We had lunch there today with our two children, didn't have a reservation and arrived in the middle of the shop, but we were still offered a table. The service was super nice, despite all the work, you didn't feel any rush, just a really pleasant atmosphere. I would have the fresh mussels, a recommendation for anyone who likes mussels. The pizzas also tasted very good. Tiramisu was great! If I could, I would give the restaurant ten stars. We remained very satisfied.

The two of us were there spontaneously and had made a reservation at short notice. Everything was great, the restaurant is chic but still comfortably furnished, we were warmly greeted at the entrance. Fast, friendly, attentive service, pleasantly fair prices with very good, authentic quality. We would love to come back and try the pizza. 💚🤍❤️

Very disappointing! We took a detour to eat here because of the good reviews. We got there at 1:25pm (kitchen closes at 2pm) and were turned away as they were closing soon. Apparently no guests are needed here. Too bad.

As a local, I have the pleasure of regularly visiting the best pizzeria in the area. The restaurant has been an integral part of the gastronomic landscape in Nesselwang for over 30 years. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the warm atmosphere created by the friendly staff and the inviting ambience. The menu offers an impressive selection of classic Italian dishes, and it's obvious that the emphasis here is on quality and freshness. I chose the homemade pasta, which was simply sensationally delicious. Every bite was a taste experience and the sauce was perfectly seasoned - a real treat! The starters and desserts also deserve special mention. The wines were fresh and full-bodied, while the tiramisu was the best I've ever tasted. I visited this pizzeria on a recommendation. Pizza from the stone oven was very tasty. The spaghetti with mussels in white wine sauce was also very tasty. The limoncello was also great.

We have known this restaurant for a very long time. We used to go there regularly. We had lived in northern Germany for the last 11 years and only recently moved back to the Allgäu. Yesterday we finally went back to Il Castello and are totally happy that the quality, service and ambience are still as great as they used to be. We will come back to you regularly in the future. First-class cuisine and very attentive service.

On May 27th, 2024 we ordered two pizzas (Seafood and Four Seasons) and were really sick two days later. I still have heartburn. It's a shame, but the quality has deteriorated massively. Just a year ago the food was fine. Addendum: They not only poisoned me, but the entire family. By visiting the doctor you can save yourself your comment. I definitely don't recommend their pizzas, there are better ones in the area.

Without a reservation on Mother's Day, we were greeted very warmly and assigned a table for 90 minutes to a hungry biker. Drinks and food came quickly and the tuna steak was a real treat, the overall impression was tremendous. Highly recommended !!!

Well, the pizzas are really great! They have an extremely thin dough, which is crispy right up to the middle of the pizza and very well rounded by the dough. The service is very attentive and in a good mood.

The food (Pizza Frutti di Mare) was really tasty and not as usual. Service very accommodating. Ambience a mix of both, rustic and modern. Would love to come back.

Very nice welcome, there were 8 of us in the restaurant. Everyone had a different dish and everyone was very satisfied. Perfect service, good price-performance ratio. We, as Italians, can warmly recommend this restaurant.

As a vacationer with a small child, we went straight after it opened and didn't have a reservation. After asking, they first said that the boss would be asked... Then they switched to Italian and then told us that there was no space available for us. But we would like to take a pizza home with us. Unfortunately, you had the feeling that you weren't very welcome as a family with a small child. I can't comment on the food because we then left the pizzeria!

Went for dinner today at 6 p.m. but didn't make a reservation but still got a seat. The restaurant was very fully booked. The boss and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pizza was ready in 10 minutes as was our salad, everything was very tasty. For dessert there was tiramisu. Always my pleasure!

Witam Państwa serdecznie. Byliśmy z rodziną tydzień czasu w Nesselwang. Odwiedziliśmy Państwa restaurację az3 razy, bo tak Byliśmy zaskoczeni dosłownie wszystkim!!! Drodzy przyszli klienci nie zastanawiajcie się! Warto tu przyjść w 100%! Jedzenie wyśmienite, potrawy doprawione idealnie. W życiu nie jedliśmy tak dobrych makaronów. Nasze dzieci jadły pizze, którą zachwalały, my zresztą też:) Personel cudowny i przyjazny dzieciom. Super pozytywni ludzie. Szkoda, że mieszkam tak daleko bo bylibyśmy stałymi klientami! Jeszcze do Państwa wrócimy! Pozdrawiamy serdecznie:)!

Mit Abstand der beste gegrillte Tintenfisch, den ich je gegessen habe. Auch die Pizza war perfekt. Man fühlt sich wie in Italien. Viele italienische Gäste, das Personal SEHR freundlich und alles sehr sehr lecker. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Der beste Italiener im gesamten Ostallgäu - hier fühlt man sich direkt wie in Italien. Nicht nur das Essen ist hervorragend, sondern auch die Inhaber. Länger als 15 Minuten wird hier nie auf sein Essen gewartet und lauter freundliche Mitarbeiter. Absolute Empfehlung!

Eine wirklich hervorragende Pizzeria, die man hier findet, auch wenn die Lage selbst vielleicht nicht die beste ist, das Ambiente ist aber hervorragend, Parken in der Nebenstraße möglich. Sehr gute Pizzen, noch bessere Pasta und dazu eine Reihe von weiteren Fisch-und Fleisch errichten, die qualitativ allesamt top sind. Äußerst empfehlenswert, selbst wenn man von etwas entfernt kommt. Es lohnt sich.

Das Essen sowie Ambiente und der Service ausgezeichnet. Gute Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Unbedingt reservieren!

Das Essen war sehr lecker! Die Pizza war eine der besten, die ich außerhalb Italiens gegessen habe! Auch der Oktopus mit Nudeln war der Hammer! 🤗🤤 Der Biergarten ist groß und man kann gut sitzen! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam! 👍 Preis Leistung war gut!

Die Pizza war eine der besten, die ich seit langem gegessen habe. Wirklich großartig. Auch das es Crodino als alkoholfreien Aperitif gab, Top! Aaaaber: Gästen wurde immer gesagt (auch uns) das alle Tische reserviert wären und man nur 45 Minuten zum Essen hätte. Der Kellner hat richtig unfreundlich zu Beginn reagiert, als wir gesagt hatten das wir keine Reservierung hätten. Wie sich herausstellte ist das einfach eine Masche, um den Durchlauf zu erhöhen. Es wurde allen nach uns auch gesagt, obwohl viele Tische leer waren und auch blieben. Als ich den Kellner darauf ansprach, wich er meiner Frage direkt aus.

Familienmannschaft stemmt hier eine Küche und Ambiente die richtig gute Urlaubsgefühle entstehen läßt🌞 Die Pizzen sind grossartig, aber wir haben uns auf die anderen Sachen konzentriert und inspirierende Vorspeisen und prachtvolle Hauptspeisen genossen. Da wir zu dritt immer alle Gerichte teilen und tauschen, so ist die Abwechslung am besten. Lecker
