Ristorante Pizzeria Gigantelli in München

Die Pizzeria ist der Hammer! Super große Pizzen zum guten Preis. Die Kellner waren sehr freundlich und hatten guten Humor. Als Nachtisch kann man sich noch ein Eis nehmen. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Meine Freundin und ich wollten lediglich eine Pizza probieren und haben auf Englisch ausdrücklich gesagt, dass wir nur eine Pizza bestellen möchten. Trotzdem wurden uns zwei Pizzen gebracht. Als wir freundlich erklärt haben, dass wir nur eine bestellt hatten, reagierte der Kellner sehr unhöflich. Anstatt den Fehler zu klären, meinte er nur, unser Deutsch sei zu schlecht und das sei nicht sein Problem. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass er uns aufgrund unserer mangelnden Deutschkenntnisse überhaupt nicht ernst genommen hat. Es wirkte sogar so, als wolle er aus der Situation einen Vorteil ziehen und uns zusätzliche Kosten aufdrängen, obwohl wir klar gesagt hatten, dass wir nur eine Pizza wollten. Besonders enttäuschend war der respektlose Umgang. Als ausländische Gäste erwarten wir nicht, perfekt Deutsch sprechen zu müssen, aber wir erwarten zumindest einen höflichen und fairen Service. Stattdessen wurden wir wegen unserer Sprachkenntnisse herablassend behandelt. Wir fühlten uns dadurch sehr beleidigt und unwillkommen. Deshalb haben wir uns entschieden, nur die Getränke zu bezahlen und das Restaurant zu verlassen.

Jedes Mal, wenn wir in München sind, ist ein Besuch hier Pflicht! 😊 Der Chef ist super herzlich, der Service aufmerksam und freundlich, und das Essen einfach spitze. Dazu kommen faire Preise – da bleibt wirklich kein Wunsch offen. Man fühlt sich fast wie bei Freunden zu Besuch. Wir freuen uns jedes Mal aufs Wiederkommen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Pizza sehr lecker, Essen gut richtig italienisch gekocht Super sauber Ambiente

Wir waren schon häufig dort, quasi unser Stammitaliener. Das Essen ist immer gut, der Service leider häufig ausbaufähig - gerade wenn viel los ist. Heute hatten wir uns zum Abholen etwas bestellt. Beim Abholen wurde ich, ja es war recht voll, die ersten 10min ignoriert. Dann wurde ich genervt gefragt, was ich denn wolle. Das Essen war natürlich noch nicht fertig. Kartengerät funktionierte nicht, ich hatte kein Bargeld, eine Lösung für das Problem wurde mir nicht vorgeschlagen sonder ich mit der Information, nachdem ich danach gefragt hatte, einfach stehen gelassen. Nachdem dann auch keiner mit mir sprechen wollte mussten wir ohne Essen wieder fahren. Gerade in schwierigen Situationen ist guter Service so wichtig!

Ein Traum... So gutes Essen.. Mama mia.. Perfetto Nettes Personal, Cucina alla Mama Wegen den sportlichen kunden vom Platz sehr oft voll und dadurch echt laut... Muss man halt schauen, wann da nix los ist mit denen🤣 Da komme dann lieber ich vorbei

Service immer freundlich, wirkt aber manchmal hektisch. Nicht verwunderlich natürlich, wenn plötzlich alle draußen sitzen . Dafür haben sie es dennoch toll gemacht.

Als Busfahrer war ich mit 38 Fahrgästen vergangenen Donnerstag quasi spontan dort zum Abendessen. Dass Essen war sehr lecker und der Service war auch super. Dass Personal ist sehr freundlich & hat sich jedem meiner Fahrgäste angenommen & bei der Speisenwahl geholfen, alle Fahrgäste sprachen ausschließlich französisch. Ein großes Dankeschön für die Spontanität dass es kurzfristig ermöglicht wurde mit 39 Gästen zum Essen kommen zu können. Ich kann dieses Restaurant absolut empfehlen & werde dort, gern auch mit Fahrgästen, wieder zum Essen gehen.

Pizza ganz lecker aber leider zu feucht und ein fettes langes Haar war auch im Essen.

Es ist ein gemütliches, familiengeführtes Restaurant mit günstigen Preisen, vergleichbar mit italienischen Restaurantketten. Das Essen ist sehr gut und der Besitzer sehr freundlich.

Man kann das Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen. Speisen, Service, und Chef alles 5 Sterne wert. Wir werden Stammgästen werden. Auch für Veranstaltungen bestens geeignet. Chef fragt auch ob Tafel festlich gedeckt werden soll, dies ist heute in anderen Lokalen nicht mehr üblich. Danke Karl Frass

Unfortunately, both of our pizzas were terrible today. The toppings were tasteless and unseasoned, the crust was tough and undercooked, and there was hardly any cheese. We've had very good meals here before and hope this was just a one-off. It was also extremely noisy today. The service, as always, was friendly and attentive.

A sports bar with excellent Italian cuisine. Always busy, so reservations are recommended. The food is freshly prepared. The pasta and pizza are always delicious. We've been here several times now and will definitely be back.

This Italian restaurant was a real discovery. We went there twice during our stay in Munich. I had the same dishes as last time (see photos): Regina & Tiramisu. The prices are very affordable considering the quality of the dishes (visual and flavor)! We paid about €20 each (drink, main course, dessert). The waitress and staff were very friendly. The atmosphere is incredible! I recommend it if you're passing by. Can't wait to come back another summer day!

When it's busy, you'll need some patience, and the location is "just" a sports restaurant. But the quality of the food is fantastic!

Unfortunately, I can't confirm the positive reviews. The wait was long. The artichokes on the pizza were hard. The "grilled rigatoni with vegetables" was a misunderstanding – the vegetables consisted of frozen, hard peas and two mushrooms. Instead of tap water, we were served an expensive Italian liter bottle. The ice cream was quite ordinary. The restaurant had a huge line for takeout pizza, which caused a lot of noise and meant that tables were barely served. People were smoking in the courtyard, and the smoke drifted into the restaurant. Both the interior and the courtyard were served by a single waitress – that's unusual, but she really tried. The restroom is almost impossible to access when someone is standing at the sink. And parking isn't exactly straightforward either.

A true hidden gem. Tasty food, welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, fair prices. We always love coming back. Well done 👍

Great homemade food and superb service. For us, it was a bit too loud for a cozy evening, but everyone experiences it differently. All in all, a definite recommendation. PS: The value for money is more than good.

Overwhelmed and furious boss!!! Very sad. We can no longer visit this restaurant. We've been regulars for years. But the last two visits were more than disappointing due to new, overwhelmed waiters. After waiting for 2.5 hours, everyone was served the wrong food. When we politely complained and wanted to pay, the boss, in classic Italian fashion, completely lost it and yelled at us. Bad behavior that cannot be tolerated after hours of waiting. This man should either downsize his restaurant, hire better staff, or simply hand the job over to someone else.

The service is a bit slow, but very friendly. The pizza is very good. Unfortunately, the artichokes are often hard, and the porcini mushrooms are no longer fresh, but pickled, which used to be better. Still, a good Italian restaurant.

We visited Gigantelli for the first time today, following a recommendation. We've walked past it many times, but because there's a no-dogs sign at the entrance, we never went in with our poodle. The ban on dogs only applies inside, starting at the sports field, but you can easily bring your dog into the pizzeria (just know that). The pizza was truly one of the best ever; it couldn't be better. Thin crust, small crust, and delicious toppings, just the way we like it. The second highlight was the house wine, Chianti Classico. We'd give a lot to find out who the winemaker is; it's simply sensational for a house wine. One small negative: the service was a bit slow, but regulars said that was an exception today, so it can happen sometimes. No problem. All in all: top-notch.

I don't know where all the good reviews come from. There is absolute chaos in this store. The service is totally overwhelmed, orders are forgotten, the boss shouts at the waiters and the food, which you have to wait up to two hours for, is of low quality! Will be avoided in the future!

In the evening the hall is completely packed, there is also an open area. So it's better to book a table in advance. Everything is simply incredibly delicious!

Tolle Küche und Service. Einfache, authentische und ehrliche ital. KÜCHE ohne chi chi. Wirklich ZU EMPFEHLEN. TOMATENSUPPE und Mittagsmenüs sind unschlagbar. Beim Ambiente und Gemütlichkeit ist noch deutlich Luft nach oben. Da ist es im Papa Franco (Filale) wirklich gemütlicher. Wein ist ein bischen zu teuer. Hauswein wird gar nicht angeboten.

We like being at the Gigantelli. I think it has nothing to do with a typical “sports restaurant”. The ambience is 100% Italian and in summer you can sit great in the spacious outdoor area. The wood-fired pizza is highly recommended and there is always a varied daily menu. Gioacchino, the service person is always nice and super attentive. You should make a reservation on the weekend.

My absolute favorite Italian. The food is always excellent and fresh. We all celebrate birthdays and other things at Luigi's. My star waiter is Franco! He always knows what me and my family want to drink without us having to say anything. He always takes the time to explain the dishes on the daily menu in detail. We always feel a bit “abducted to Italy”. Definitely recommended without exception.

Room extremely loud and echoing, lots of large tables. Bruschetta tonnata: sauce too much mayo and not enough tonno, sweet instead of sour and salty. Even though I'm Italian, I have no idea what good pizza is: sink the ham under the thick layer of cheese instead of putting the topping on top! Duetto di pesce 22 €: 2 scampi, 3 squid tubes, no side dishes (no note)! Tasteless, because it wasn't seasoned enough and the calamari wasn't cooked through, it was tough like rubber. Indian service very nice.
