Good Italian restaurant with good value for money and friendly service.

The pizzas were generally okay: the base was very tasty, the toppings looked fresh. However, the taste of the sugo was too 'tomatoey' and was reminiscent of a very simple tomato sugo or tomato puree without any spices. This was a bit too neutral and simple in taste. This unseasoned tomato sugo stood out too much in our two different pizzas. In the case of a pizza, the sugo had probably been poured over the entire topping - that was a bit too much of a good thing and didn't look good at all... The selection of non-alcoholic drinks on the main menu was very, very poor. The only juice on offer was apple juice - there were no other juices listed on the menu. This urgently needs to be expanded. Juice spritzers were also not on offer. The water was either 'sparkling water' (glass or small bottle) or a whole bottle of Pellegrino or Aqua Panna. Medium water or still water in small (glass or small bottle) was not noted on the card. No appetizers were served before the meal as a gesture of the house. Offering a few olives or pepperoni to guests would have been a friendly gesture. We know this from other pizzerias. Price-performance was absolutely fine. Service very friendly and accommodating. The interior is a bit old-fashioned and no longer up to date (old used 'rustic oak' tables and chairs - seem to have been taken over by the previous owners). Conclusion: There is still room for improvement. Can't compete with other pizzerias at the moment.

The food was very good. We also had a nice conversation with the chef who is also the owner. Affectionately called Giovanni. The service was very courteous and everything was fine. You feel comfortable in an older atmosphere. When the weather is good you can sit on the terrace.

Had dinner with several people at the weekend. Everything was freshly prepared, service was great too! Absolute recommendation! The desserts are awesome.

Our favorite restaurant. Everything is freshly prepared by the chef and it tastes great. The team is very friendly and accommodating. We have often used the delivery service and particularly love the Scaloppina parmigiana or the Rigatoni Chef.

A Pizza Diavolo and a Nice Salad. The pizza was well topped, but unfortunately totally wobbly. The salad was completely tasteless, actually a disgrace for €13. I won't be ordering from there anymore, I know prices have gone up everywhere but this feels like a rip off to me. The delivery man was very friendly, but unfortunately it doesn't make up for the poor quality of the food. Dear Giovanni team, please consider whether you want to deliver at such prices with such poor quality.

Top service, top food, top ambience and the tablecloths are ristorante like......

If we didn't have so much humor, we would cry. That was failure across the board. At least you're being consistent there, because everything here was just a catastrophe. Service would have earned the Oscar for ignoring. When you make reservations for a birthday as a new guest, at least you don't expect a bored lady who only takes care of regular guests. Cola stale, stale, bitter, when I complained about it, the same drink came again. The beer didn't have enough pressure, stale. White wine is a disaster in terms of quality. We actually wanted to leave straight away because new guests are obviously not welcome here. Porcini pork loin were ok, although the meat had been in the pan for too long. The salmon was as dry as the Sahara and so fried that it was inedible. The bad habit of doodling everything on the plate with balsamic vinegar still prevails here. You won't be asked whether you want to drink something else, whether you want an espresso, a digestif or a dessert. The boss looked sullenly out of the kitchen, as if he wanted to say: Who is that, do they have to eat here too? He then preferred to sit at the table next to the regular guests without paying any attention to us new guests. The birthday child was then tipped over with the chair so that Mr. Porco could sit down with his regular guest. Only regular guests are welcome here. All you can do is shake your head and laugh about it. Since the boss seems to be resistant to criticism, as others have already described here, and we wanted to get out safely without a frying pan on our heads, we held back. Oscar for the worst Italian we've ever been to. You can't beat the ignorance and unfriendliness. It's really laughable. But if the guests order Lambrusco, that says a lot. Thank God we didn't have a starter, as only regular guests get dessert here:-)) It's a shame for the money. What could we have cooked for it...And we know how to do it...

Ein großes Lob an die Küche! Das Essen war fantastisch, die Bedienung sehr freundlich,sehr schnell. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Gestern abend um 21.30 ein Cordon Bleu bestellt, welches schnell geliefert wurde und leckerer war, als in manchen Restaurants in Saarlouis. Die Pommes waren Knackig Gross, Das Fleisch Zart und lecker gefüllt, sowie ein paar Kräuter und eine Scheibe Zitrone dabei, hier wurde sich Mühe gegeben. Sehr empfehlenswert, Pizza hab ich nicht probiert aber kommz noch

Wir sind jetzt schon einige Male dort gewesen. Und ich muss sagen, wir sind sehr zufrieden. Den 5. Stern kann ich nicht geben, weil wir beim ersten d zweiten Besuch( vor einem Jahr) nicht so zufrieden waren.

Wir sind rundum zufrieden und wurden lecker bekocht. Und entgegen meiner Vorrednerin gibt es 4 Heizkörper im Restaurant, welche immer bei Bedarf aufgedreht werden können!

Die Tomaten auf der Pizza schmeckten, als hätte sie jemand extra für uns vom Feld gepflückt, die Pommes der absolute Hammer! Wirklich großartig! Dennoch werde ich dieses Lokal nicht mehr aufsuchen. Der Kellner war mehr als unfreundlich! So unfreundlich, dass ich nie wieder einen Fuß hierhin setzen werde!!!!! Ich habe vollstes Verständnis, wenn jmd Mal schlecht gelaunt ist oder keinen guten Tag hat, aber seine Gäste anzuschreien, weil die Rechnung geteilt werden soll geht gar nicht!!!!

1/ gute Küche zu moderaten Preisen 2/ freundlicher Service 3/ gute Parkmöglichkeiten 4/ das Sizten auf der Terasse ist etwas ungünstig.

Hallo Unser erster Besuch im Restaurant Da Giovanni welches von außen immer noch Gasthaus zur neuen Welt heißt war durchwachsen . Der Gastraum ist kalt und man friert jedesmal wenn die Tür aufgeht , sehr ungemütlich. Die Bruschetta und die Involtini aus Auberginen mit Schafskäse waren köstlich. Rindersteaks von bester Qualität und auf den Punkt zubereitet, das Grillgemüse perfekt gewürzt. Die Pizza war auch sehr gut bis auf die Tomaten und den Rucola die sollten frisch sein und nicht verwelkt , schon gar nicht für den Preis. Bei dem Anspruch und den Preisen der Gerichte sollte auch der Salat dementsprechend gewählt und zubereitet sein. Eisbergsalat mit Mais und Möhre erinnerten an einen Kantinensalat das geht besser.
