We waited forever for someone to serve us, even though it was not very busy.

A truly beautiful restaurant with a fantastic Italian flair! 🇮🇹 The food was incredibly delicious – fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and lovingly prepared. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel completely at home. Absolutely excellent value for money, and the ambiance invites you to linger. I'll definitely be back – Donna Mia Saarlouis is a definite recommendation! 🍕🍷

Pasta Rustica Fico e Salvia with goat cheese: Excellent, a poem and a treat for the taste buds! The restaurant is attractive, the staff is excellent and very attentive. A visit is worthwhile! Highly recommended.

We were 20 minutes early but still got a seat and were served immediately and quickly and it was very tasty and at a top price, super restaurant

I wanted to order something today at 9 p.m. and was told that the kitchen closes at 9 p.m. and it would be impossible to fulfill my request. Which makes no sense because you set a time everywhere so that it goes on until 10 p.m., but the kitchen closes at 9 p.m.?! I've been a waitress before and I know what it's like working conditions where you want to get home quickly, even though it's easy work. But where I come from, every customer is important and a win, so why not write that everything closes at 9 p.m. That doesn't happen; it's not even like that at Outlet Zweibrucken.

The food is delicious, there's something for everyone, which makes it ideal for larger groups, and the food usually arrives quickly. The service is sometimes a bit inattentive; you almost always have to actively call the waiters before they come to you, but maybe I've just been unlucky so far. The atmosphere is quite nice, but it can get very loud at times when it's busy.

Very good food but 15 euros a bit expensive

Great restaurant, I can get around between appointments with my walker. Service is fast and helpful. Food is also fast and top-notch. Very convenient for me. Regards to the friendly team.

I was there on Friday lunchtime with my sister, who lives in Cologne. We both agreed that the food was fantastic. She had a pizza with salami, and I had spaghetti ala oilio. They're actually simple dishes, but both were absolutely delicious and well-prepared. 👍 Also, a big compliment to the very friendly, efficient waiter and the incredibly nice manager. 👌 We will definitely visit this place again!

There was nothing wrong with the food and drinks. Good, plentiful, and above all, delicious. We had reserved seats that had apparently already been given to another group. No matter, we were happy with the outside seating. It would have been better to sit there anyway. As a team, the service team completely failed. The friendly server who was in charge of our table failed to attend to her guests attentively, and her colleagues generally looked away when we tried to make ourselves known. It's such a shame. Dear Donna Mia team, pull yourselves together and think about how you can become a good team again. Then we'd gladly come back.

There were some complications with the reservation, but the food was great and, above all, the waitress with the long blonde hair was super nice, accommodating, and provided perfect service!

The food is very tasty, but overall, not exactly cheap. The staff is very friendly. We didn't have a reservation, but we still got a table.

A very delicious restaurant. I was actually thinking of a pizzeria of some kind. However, it reminds me a lot of Vapiano or similar industrial restaurants. The ambiance is very nice, though. And they put a lot of effort into it. The food was delicious. I had a pizza, and I have to say it was beyond reproach. We would go back anytime. The portions were generous. Keep it up from me. We will be back. Special praise for the excellent service. It was truly seamless and always with a smile.

Since we received a voucher for our wedding, the weather was great, and we were hungry at lunch, we thought we'd stop by. In my opinion, this restaurant has little to do with Italian cuisine. The pasta dishes are more for the eyes and Instagram, but the taste is rather bland and uninspiring. The same goes for the pizza. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the forced, friendly service actually took note of a special request. The staff actually noticed us after standing around for two minutes and, after we sat down ourselves, came to our table another ten minutes later. A big problem outside at all the tables were very aggressive wasps; we later used the only small napkin we were given to protect our drinks. They should come up with a solution for this; Google should find something to solve this. All in all, the best thing was the starter, and on the one hand, we're glad we had the voucher and therefore paid less, but on the other hand, we would have been even more annoyed if we hadn't had it. It's a real shame considering the location...

😋 Delicious food, nice service again

We were there yesterday with 6 adults and 3 children. Our somewhat older waitress was wonderful 🥰 She patiently accommodated our many special requests, joked with us, and answered questions and gave us advice along the way. A waitress couldn't be better 👍 The food was good and plentiful, and the restaurant was very busy for a normal weekday. We'd gladly go back.

I was back in SLS after a long time and wanted a quick bite to eat in the old town. After looking at the menus, the prices, and then the people's plates, I decided against it. At the Kleiner Markt, I saw Donna Mia, and I liked it right away. My first impression wasn't wrong. I found a super-friendly, young service team, the salad was beautifully fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. Everyone around me seemed very happy and content. You'll see me there more often.

Unfortunately, I can't give a good recommendation. In my opinion, the food is of poor quality. We weren't impressed by the pizza, salad, or pasta dishes.

Located in the heart of Saarlouis, on the Kleiner Markt in the pedestrian zone. Beautiful location with a great view

We went there on a whim and were able to choose our seats on the terrace. The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, but the pizza was a bit small and not very well-filled. They also have a special kids' menu, which is rare these days; it's really great. Very nice ambiance, right by the market, so the kids can run around. However, the women's restrooms were really dirty: there was toilet paper on the floor, no soap in the dispensers, and in some places you could still see traces of the previous user. Overall, it's a very nice and affordable restaurant – perfect for families with children. ☺️

A group of six of us spontaneously went there for dinner on Saturday after visiting the escape room. From the outside, it looked nice. We ordered the Pizza Diavolo, which was more like a Dr. Oetker frozen pizza in terms of quality. My husband, who appreciates a good carbonara, unfortunately discovered that the carbonara on the menu was a misleading product, as it didn't use any of the ingredients needed for a carbonara. He ordered the pasta dish with pork fillet strips, which were so tough that one suspects they weren't actually fillet meat. Furthermore, you could taste vegetable/granulated broth in the sauce. The only highlight is the "pasta pot." One can complain a lot, but for just under €5 for a Coke, you'd expect something other than a watered-down product. The mint in the iced tea was spotty, and we were shocked by the lack of quality at such prices. The service was very friendly.

The food was delicious and the service was great, but sitting inside on a hot day is almost unbearable because the building is a listed building and therefore air conditioning cannot be installed.

Pizzeria with good service and average food

It's well located. Expensive. The cheapest dish is spaghetti oglio for €12.80. A wheat beer costs €6.

The pizza is average, the dough is dry... It has little to do with an Italian pizzeria. It's more like a fast food chain. Prices are high compared to the quality offered.

I went out to eat with a friend. The restaurant is nice, and the waiter was very friendly at first. Unfortunately, my gnocchi (or the sauce) tasted salty and burnt. I ate half anyway because I was hungry. When another waitress later asked how it was, I told her. Her response was that I should have told her beforehand. I explained that it wouldn't have helped because my friend would have eaten alone. An apology or a small gesture of kindness would have been nice.

My friends wanted dessert, but towards the end, the waiters seemed to have forgotten about us. At first, the service was excellent. The food was quite unusual but very tasty and reasonably priced.

It is appropriate for quick meals

The selection and taste of the food are excellent. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the heat inside. It was extremely warm without any form of air conditioning; there weren't even fans or anything similar. We couldn't sit outside because there were seven of us, and putting tables together isn't allowed. We found that a bit odd and a shame. At least there was some breeze outside :-) So far, I can only recommend the restaurant for groups of more than four people during the colder seasons.

We were in town (by chance) for Emmes 25. We really liked the Elbling Crémant, and two pizzas and two pastas were good.

Carpe diem. ...in the heart of the Kleiner Markt in Saarlouis. Nice variety, well run and we'll kept. Lots of seating but, because it does get busy, make a reservation (if possible). - 💡 Try to get a table downstairs at the window. - Outside seating as well . Most are shaded and a few are covered. No dedicated parking but one can find parking spots on the street or in the nearby parking garage. Enjoy

We've been there several times, and the food has always been delicious. The staff was also friendly and attentive. The location at the small market in Saarlouis is very good. However, when all the tables are occupied, it can be quite noisy.

The food was good. There was one employee who had a tattoo on her hand, wore glasses, her hair was oily and very disrespectful. They told her we could order and she was like NO!!!!!! So really rebellious?!?!?!?😒😒😒😙😙 So I would even give 0 stars. DISREPECTFUL?!??!!!!

Hallo Allerseits, ich möchte es kurz und knapp halten: Das Donna Mia in Saarlouis wird überwertet, Preis Leistung steht nicht im Rahmen. Total überteuert , weil Sie sich für einen Edelitaliener halten. Zwar ist das Ambiente schön gehalten und man kann dort gemütlich sitzen, aber trotz allem ist der Service NICHT AUFMERKSAM, mein Fisch war NICHT WIRKLICH FRISCH (Lachs) und die Portionen sind für den Preis ZU KLEIN. Man kann viel Besseres erwarten… Der Laden sitzt oft voll, aber ich sehe beim Vorbeigehen nie Stammkunden, das heißt also, dass immer wieder neue Kundschaft sich ein eigenes Bild bilden möchte. Wir sind nicht begeistert, aber es gibt natürlich viel Schlimmeres!

Ashamed. We waited 1 hour before being served... No excuses, nothing. We left without eating, given the wait, and the worst thing about it was that there was hardly anyone there.

We only ordered 2 pizzas & a salad to take away, but I have to say that the service was really great. As soon as we placed the order, there was a keen, bright lady on the phone who gave us good advice. The pickup 20 minutes later also went smoothly!

Reading reviews tempt me to eat here - it's amazing what cuisine can satisfy guests in some cities these days.

Very friendly staff. However, the Caesar salad was no revelation. For 15 euros it's almost just green leaves, hardly any dressing, almost no cheese to be found and a few pieces of bread in between. Thanks, but no thanks. 🙂‍↔️

We were very satisfied. The food was excellent, including the spaghetti bolognese with 100% meat. So good. Babies and toddlers were no problem. I can only recommend it.

We had dinner at Donna Mia's yesterday at 6 p.m. and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Although the shop wasn't full at the beginning, we waited over an hour for our food (ordered at 6 p.m. received at 7:23 p.m.) - even though we ordered as soon as we arrived. Unfortunately, the Margherita pizza was hardly edible because it was completely overloaded with cheese and had hardly any tomato sauce. My dish, rice noodles with broccoli and salmon, was also disappointing: there were only two small broccoli florets and three pieces of salmon, and the noodles were completely overcooked. The taste of the dish was not convincing. The service was even more disappointing. When my friend politely commented that the pizza had way too much cheese, the waitress responded with an unfriendly “Ah, just too much cheese” – no apology, no accommodation. After such a long wait, at least a friendly reaction would have been appropriate. Conclusion: bad service, long waiting time and disappointing food. We definitely won't eat there again.

The pizza was delicious, but the staff was really unmotivated. It took a long time to get served and the staff just weren't attentive. Unfortunately, my Coke Zero tasted stale. There are clearly better Italian restaurants in the area.

Arrived today at 4:45 p.m. and asked for 1 table. The girls answer: "only if you finish by 6 p.m." I, OK. Then “you can go there”. I was surprised to be treated like that. Far from it, the best is yet to come. I sat down and waited, waited, waited. People came after me and were served and their orders were taken. OK, unusual too... I wasn't even asked if I wanted something to drink, which is actually normal when the guest brings it to the table, but for that you would have to go to the table with the guest...... No, I stood there, the neighbors looked at me and shook their heads, were also surprised that nothing was happening and showed me pity. Well, that wasn't supposed to be my day. After 20 minutes I ended the drama and left. The girls walked past me a few times, but no one had to ask if I wanted anything... Just sad I won't bother you anymore, sorry

I was here once with my friends and I was very disappointed. We waited 30+ minutes for service. What was unacceptable to me was that they didn't even apologize.

I was extremely dissatisfied with my visit to this restaurant. Wait times for service were unacceptably long and the rudeness of the staff was shocking. Such poor service is unacceptable for a restaurant and significantly tarnished my impression. I expect a conscientious restaurant to better train employees to provide respectful and professional service. I hope this experience doesn't become the norm for other guests.

Unfortunately, Donna Mia is no longer what it once was. The pizza tastes like frozen pizza or a takeaway pizza. Far too greasy, thin base, cheap ingredients. Unfortunately the prices are very high. The staff is hard-working and has a lot to do, so my rating relates to the food. I won't eat there again in the future. :/

I really enjoy going here. I prefer the seats on the upper floor. Here the tables are a little further apart and you have a little more privacy. The food was always very good and the service was satisfactory. The ambience is nice and cozy.

We were there twice. The first time we waited about 45 minutes for the food. That wasn't great, I have no idea what was going on in the kitchen! The second time everything was pretty okay. But when the heavily tattooed waitress cheekily begs for a tip, it's not possible at all!

Absolutely feel-good restaurant from the service to the food to the pleasant ambience. The service was very attentive and always at the table without waiting, despite it being a busy weekend. The music played discreetly in the background and you weren't dismissed as is now the case with the competing chain in SB. Gladly again at any time. 5 stars!!!
