Ristorante Pizzeria " Bei Manu " in Bad Staffelstein

Centrally located in Bad Staffelstein, easily accessible. We really like the pizzeria. We recommend the pizza fresh from the wood oven, super delicious! Also different seasonal versions. In summer you can sit outside.

We were there for dinner today. My husband ordered the Tyrolean ham for his pizza and wanted it with spinach. The pizza then came without his wishes. Since my husband doesn't eat meat (also for health reasons), he had the pizza returned because he hadn't ordered it. A few minutes later the pizza arrived to his liking. While eating, he suddenly found the Tyrolean ham on his pizza again. So the ham was eaten off the “wrong” pizza. This was then addressed and the waitress didn't even apologize for it or anything. Very weak behavior. There are people who cannot eat meat due to allergies etc. You don't want to imagine what would happen if these people were told that the pizza was now without meat and then they ate some.

I can't say much since I only ever pick up there, but the pizzas... they are a delight 😊

What I find particularly mega: the selection of different pizza dough variants... Spelled, whole grain and as always 😃 and stone oven too. After waiting for over an hour, we still didn't get any pizza.. However, the people who came 20 minutes after us had already gotten their food and were ready... An absolutely great tip for enjoying the perfect Italian meal. Price absolutely fine. Food more than delicious. Antipasti misto to put in. Tortellini prosciutto panna to lick your finger. Pizza terrific. Head waiter Davide super nice. The service overall was very nice and friendly. Tried twice without a reservation and still got a table. A must for every lover of Italian hospitality

We went there without a reservation and the place was packed. Nevertheless, we got a table straight away and didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. Super delicious pizza! Always a pleasure! If we are in the area again (approx. 500 km away) we would love to come back here. Absolute recommendation!

After a relaxing walk, we looked for a good restaurant in the Bad Staffelstein area to end the weekend comfortably. We found what we were looking for and what can we say. The pizzas and the food in general were great and very, very tasty. The service was first class. I would particularly like to mention the waitress Amelie, who took great care of us and gave us first-class food. We'll definitely be back 😊 Ciao

Not recommended... service overwhelmed and unfriendly, first brought the wrong food. Then he asked us what kind of salads we ordered and what drinks. The only thing missing was that we had to pour our own beer. Pizza wasn't good, part too soft and edge too hard...

You can get very tasty Italian food here. Delicious. Unfortunately the volume in the restaurant is loud, perhaps something could be done to reduce noise. But on the other hand, volume also means sociable and happy guests. Otherwise the ambience is very nice and harmonious.

Too hot, too narrow, too loud, too bright. You can't understand your own words because of all the background noise. Ambiance is 0. Everything is far too bright and sterile. The tables and seats are positioned so tightly that you can't stretch your legs properly.

Pizza was good, you can tell that cheap ingredients were not used. I was disappointed with the spagetti carbonara because I was hoping to get it like in Italy, unfortunately it was just a cream sauce like the Germans probably prefer, it's a matter of taste! We were there on a Sunday and of course it was busy so there was a longer wait for food and payment but the staff was very friendly!

Fantastic! Without a reservation and still got a place! The employees are super friendly and helpful! As a starter we had bruschetta which was decent but a bit too bland for me! Of course this is a matter of taste!!! The pizza was heavenly...by far the best pizza I've ever eaten and I've had a lot of pizza! My girlfriend had lasagna and it was really good too! Conclusion: we can only recommend it! P.S be very hungry.... Here you get a lot of food for your money!!!! We would love to come back 😌

Freundlicher Empfang, trotz vollem Haus hat der Chef noch 2 Plätze an einem größeren Tisch organisiert. Riesenauswahl. Was dann an Pizzen geliefert wurde, das konnte sich sehen lassen. Groß, gut belegt, schöner Teig, der toll aufgeht… Gute Weine, gepflegtes Bier vom Fass. Ein schöner Abend in italienischem Ambiente.

We were there, everything was fine, we tried very hard, we were just unlucky that there was a larger tour group of over 30 people in the room behind us, so it was very loud for us. Food, we had pizza. It's all ok. But there was only one size and we estimate it to be 32cm.🤔 definitely too much for some. 🤔🤷‍♀️

Were in transit from the thermal baths. Unfortunately company vacation from August 19th, but luckily August 18th. Three hours before work I just had pizza because I was on vacation tomorrow, but no problem, I wanted pizza anyway. Pizza was super delicious and we wanted to bring one for the vultures at home after we had eaten. But unfortunately this was no longer possible because the pizza maker finished work two hours before the official end. While we were printing out the chairs were already being put on the tables and we had to hope that we were still allowed to pay. But as a consolation, pizzas went into the oven for others while we were leaving the store.

Der Besuch bei Manu ist Pflicht. Sehr guter Italiener in Staffelstein. Trotz vollem Reservierungsbuch haben wir kurzfristig einen kleinen Tisch auf der Terrasse, direkt am Bach bekommen. Warum weint es Menschen, die sich über so einen kleinen kuscheligen Platz beschweren? Wir gehören nicht dazu und saßen gemütlich. Die Pizzen und der Salat waren wieder mal super. Die Mitarbeitenden freundlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Einfach ein gelungener Abend. Und danach ging es wieder in die Sauna. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

The food is really great, but I just don't understand why I can never get a Salami Napoli even though it's available to choose from in the extras. If it never works, then finally take this extra off the menu. That is ridiculous. Oh yes, and who else knows of a place where pizza leftovers are stacked on top of each other and wrapped in aluminum foil to take away? All that's missing is that the halves are folded up and lying in there...

Food is great as always. Unfortunately, the prices when picking up are the same as when eating in the pizzeria. Although only 7% VAT. It's a shame that this isn't passed on to the guest.

What use is the best pizza and delicious pasta if you wait 20 minutes just to order drinks. The two of us have really enjoyed being there so far. Two people ordered two meals and salad. Salad and my wife's food were brought. Despite repeated eye contact, the service staff was unable to ask whether something was missing. After my wife had finished eating and my food was still not at the table, the whole thing was over for us. Something can always go wrong but not even a word of apology. As if it were obvious. It's your own fault for expecting the food you ordered in the restaurant. We were full of anticipation and were looking forward to the food. It wasn't our first time at Manu's, but it would certainly be the last time. Thanks for nothing.

Nine of us came spontaneously at lunchtime and were lucky to get a seat even without a reservation. We were greeted warmly and quickly had two tables pushed together. Service very friendly and quick. The pizza really tasted sensationally good, and the composition was also something special (tomatoes, ricotta, mozzarella, pesto) and not something you get every day. The portion size was huge and the price was very reasonable. The ambience with the stone oven in the room was also very appealing and everything was clean. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely plan another visit. Since the restaurant was very busy on a Monday lunchtime, a reservation is advisable. Unreservedly recommended.

There's really nothing wrong with this great restaurant! Great food, whether pizza, pasta, etc. and the highest quality of products. Almost everything is made in-house, which is increasingly rare these days. Each dish can also be varied as desired. Above all, the boss ensures that you always feel comfortable and well looked after.
