Nice and hospitable Italian restaurant. From the moment we entered, the service was friendly and had extra attention for our kids. Order was taken quickly and the food was delicious. Recommended after a visit to Miniatur Wunderland, is within walking distance.

Good pizzas at reasonable prices.

The restaurant has a terrace overlooking the water, which is very nice. The outside furniture is simply rustic. The interior ambience of the restaurant is much more cozy and authentic. The waitresses were not very attentive and very hectic. Wrong drinks were brought several times. The dishes are quite unspectacular, simple. Salad was good. Pizza was ok. The pasta carbonara, which was supposed to be Roman, was rather dry and unfortunately not convincing. Maybe it wasn't the best day for the chef and the team...

The selection of pizzas was very limited and had nothing classic Italian about it. Shortly after serving, the pizza was already lukewarm. It's a bit like microwave food or cooking pizza in the oven. Sorry, never here again.

We received a very friendly welcome and were assigned a table in the gallery. It's much better sitting there than on the ground floor. The food was well crafted and the portions were large enough. But there are no unusual dishes either. Still, more than solid, tasty and friendly.

The table was full of crumbs and stains from the previous person. The waiter seemed very curt. The pasta didn't really taste like much and the pizza like a normal frozen pizza. In general it was extremely loud.

We came without a reservation, the restaurant was very full, but the two of us still managed to get a seat. Here and there the waiters got a little confused or it took a moment longer, but they apologized politely and that's understandable since there was a lot going on. The food was really very good, my husband loved his fish platter. There's nothing to complain about in terms of price either.

Unfortunately it was a failure – never again Al Lido The visit to Al Lido was a bitter disappointment. Even the beginning was questionable: We were given rolls with some kind of sauce that were clearly not homemade - both tasted like they came from the supermarket shelf. Then we actually had to wait a full hour for our pizza. And for what? For a pizza that looked like it came straight from the freezer. Perfectly round, absolutely standardized and just as disappointing in taste as the rolls before it. No trace of craftsmanship or freshness, as you would expect from an Italian restaurant. And as if all that wasn't enough, at the end came the ultimate insolence: Due to this thoroughly disappointing experience, we didn't leave a tip when paying - completely understandable at this level. The waiter then threw a mocking “Zero, zero” at us as we passed. Incredible. Instead of apologizing for the poor performance, guests are treated disrespectfully. One thing is certain for us: That was the first and last time. If you value quality, you should avoid this restaurant.

We sat down here for a little something. A small snack and 1 drink each. The drinks took a relatively long time (also heard from other guests) However, the staff was very nice and the atmosphere was inviting.

We had a lovely time with delicious food and extremely friendly staff. The restaurant was full and you still had the feeling that you were the only and most important guest to the staff. If you can, you should definitely reserve a table. There really isn't a table left unoccupied for long.

Yesterday we were guests at Al Lido as a group of nine people and we were completely thrilled. Even though it was very crowded. (of course we had reserved) we were served with a warmth with a lot of humor and charm that we hadn't experienced in a long time. There was a lot of laughter and the atmosphere felt like we were at our local Italian restaurant around the corner! And this despite the fact that the ambience, both outside and inside, is rather simple and objective. It's an art to make you forget that. And the food was excellent! We didn't expect to come across such a gem of warmth in the Hafencity, coupled with very good food, for a price that was more than acceptable. All thumbs up!! Many thanks to the whole team and please keep it up!

I was there on October 26th, 2021 and gave the relatively poor overall impression a two-star rating without a precise review. I will now do this again due to the occasion. I received an email from Google saying that it was defamatory and that my review is therefore no longer public. This is not the case here, I only rated food and service. My colleague, who was also present but paid himself, also had the same opinion. (The pizza wasn't particularly good and the service wasn't friendly, which is why I didn't leave a tip at the time)

Here too we only made a stopover and consumed an aperitifo directly on the quay in the sun. When you went to the toilet you had to go up to the restaurant and we were almost a little sad that we had already booked a table in another restaurant. On our next trip to Hamburg we will definitely pay this restaurant a visit. The map looks very promising, especially the daily recommendations.

After a nice walk through the Hafencity, we ate with five people at the Ristorante Pizzeria Al Lido - and it was a completely successful experience! I had reserved a table in advance and asked for a quiet spot, which was implemented perfectly. Even though we arrived a little earlier than planned, we received a warm welcome. The service was extremely friendly and quick and the food was simply delicious! The meat was wonderfully tender, the pizza and pasta were excellent. Everything was lovingly prepared and the portions were just right. My chicken stuffed with spinach, vegetables and potatoes was particularly delicious - I assume the vegetables were tossed in garlic oil, so my tip: a chewing gum afterwards wouldn't hurt! 😄 A great restaurant with a feel-good factor – we’d love to come back! 🍕🍝🍗

Spontaneously stopped in with a group of 6 people and were immediately given a place in a friendly manner. The “greetings from the kitchen” alone, which was also refilled, was worth the visit. Pizza and pasta were freshly and deliciously prepared and the employees were all friendly and polite. Even if the Italian restaurant may seem a bit inconspicuous from the outside, everything inside is just right, even the lolly for the little one in Italian colors. Top

Super delicious pizza, good aperitif selection and friendly, cheerful service, fair prices. Good acoustics for conversations, not too loud Italian music in the background. Table spacing is comfortable. Special menu and menu with an attractive selection. A thoroughly positive experience - we will definitely come by more often!

We came in here and it was pretty full, But we were served very quickly and everything was to a very high standard. We would definitely recommend it and the prices were relatively good.

We had a nice day in Hamburg and happened to pass this restaurant. It was just supposed to be a simple pizza for dinner. The service and the staff are really great! The simple pizza was anything but simple, it was truly top notch. There was also a little something at the expense of the house in advance. So all in all, simply recommended!

The topic with the stars is not always easy. The two of us ate there around 7 p.m. Our waiter was quite emotionless. We had a pizza and grilled salmon. The food was okay. Neither more nor less. We would have liked more passion in the service and also in the dishes.

Great little restaurant in Hafen City. Very good food, nice service. Prices are very affordable for this location. Subdued decor. On warm days you can sit outside. The paste is served with parmesan cheese, which you can dose yourself - I love it! I recommend visiting here.

Pizza not different from a regular Italian place (I would say it is close to Chicago style ones), pasta carbonara not close to the traditional recipe, average size portions. Personell one waiter was friendly, the other one arrogant.

We ate Pizza Roma and it definitely took us to Italy. Then, of course, since Tiramisu had to be eaten, we tried it too. In one word, Italy... I definitely recommend it. Note: We paid 2 pizzas + 2 Aperol Spritz + 1 Tiramisu = 55 Euros..

We visited the Christmas party with our company (9 people). The food was ordered all over the place and the starter in advance, everything was delicious and hot, the dessert (I had chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream) was a poem. Everything is within reasonable price too. The starter came, we had enough time to enjoy and snack, the main course followed astern. And the service was A++++! We were there on a Saturday evening in early December. They serve classic Italian dishes. We had different pasta dishes.

Food top, drinks top and service very attentive. Highly recommended.

We stopped by spontaneously and ordered pizza (Caprese and Salmone/Spinacci). Unfortunately I have to say that the pizza was nothing. The base may be ready-made dough. The coating is thick and far too greasy. It's a total shame because the staff and atmosphere were really nice. Bread, aioli and olives were delicious.

Went here with some colleagues and ate everything possible. Pizza and pasta are an insult to Italian cuisine, wobbly tables and expensive prices... it's really a mystery to me why the reviews are so good. The pizza in particular is worse than some frozen pizzas (see photos in other reviews) and for over €15. Completely wrong price-performance ratio. The appetizer platter was fine.

Caution ! We were here via The Fork, there was supposed to be 50% off a la carte dishes, but the landlord decided to only discount the main courses. This is a breach of contract and, in my opinion, not particularly smart. Because the food was good and the waiter was nice. However, because of this petty, dishonest action, man now doesn't have 5 stars and the great evening has got a bad aftertaste because of 20€!!!!????!!!!!

Cuando voy a un restaurante italiano espero una pizza original, no una pizza congelada en horno. El propietario contrató a un abogado que hizo que google borrara todas las críticas negativas. Deberían haber mejorado su servicio.

Sehr nette Bedienung, aber für 18 € wurde mir und einer Kollegin eine Pizza vorgesetzt, deren Teig wie ein Eierkuchen war, nicht ein bißchen knusprig und in der Mitte dick und weich.
