Ristorante Pizzeria Al Canale in Frankenthal (Pfalz)

I had schnitzel, not so great; it was cooked too hot; it should have been pan-fried. The salad was okay, as were the fries.

We've been to Al Canala in Frankenthal several times and enjoy returning every time. The food is consistently delicious, and you immediately notice that the food is prepared with love and quality. We particularly like the small, fine menu, which offers seasonal variety with a weekly or daily special. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, and the host's warm demeanor always makes you feel welcome. The prices may be a bit higher than average, but they're absolutely justified for the quality offered. A truly lovely restaurant that we can wholeheartedly recommend – and where we hope to spend many more wonderful evenings!

I love good Italian food – and at Alcanale in Frankenthal, you definitely won't be disappointed. The selection, the quality of the ingredients, and above all, the taste, win me over every time. The lunch menu is particularly noteworthy: There are three different menus to choose from, all balanced, deliciously prepared, and absolutely fair portions. Ideal for a lunch break – quick, fresh, and still cooked with love. Whether pizza, pasta, or salads – at Cono - Al Canale, the whole package is just perfect. Friendly service, a pleasant atmosphere, and authentic flavors. For me, a clear recommendation in Frankenthal!

Wonderful pizzas. Good service. We really enjoy going there. Also the (made to order) grilled monkfish, an absolute treat. Super prepared and very fresh. Pasta dishes and meat dishes (grilled liver, for example) are very good.

Everything perfect!!! Super large portions and everything was very tasty. As I expect from real Italians. Ambience a little old-fashioned. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. Parking spaces in front of the door. There is also a beer garden.

The first pizzeria in my life that I had to add seasoning to my food. I was invited to a birthday party. There was a small buffet. Spaghetti, pork schnitzel, minced meat sauce without salt or spices and completely overcooked gnochi. Everything was completely bland, or without salt or spices. I was in the military for many years and was fed a lot of food. But what I got in this pub is the absolute highlight of my life. My son then had slight stomach problems. Conclusion: Not every Italian can cook well!!

No matter whether pasta or pizza. A dream. I have rarely eaten so well. Definitely try it.

Food not really good, expensive but not appropriate for the quality. Unfriendly service with a tendency to arrogance. Open door through which not only the cold comes through, but also the cigarette smoke. Very uncomfortable. Old-fashioned furnishings, not a pleasant atmosphere. We certainly won't be coming back.

Sehr sehr gutes Essen. Würde sagen mittlerweile das beste italienische Essen was man in Frankenthal bekommen kann. Wir lassen uns das Essen immer liefern weshalb ich nur das beurteilen kann und nicht die Räumlichkeiten vor Ort. Essen: 5 Sterne // Lieferzeit: 5 Sterne !! Kann man nur empfehlen.

Bella Italia! Tolles Restaurant, leckeres Essen, zügige und freundliche Bedienung. Wir waren dort zum Weihnachtsessen vom Verein. Kleines Manko war der Parkplatz. Da der asphaltierte Platz voll war, hatte man die Möglichkeit auf einer Wiese zu parken. Diese war wetterbedingt sehr matschig. Sieht man aber gern drüber weg, weil der Rest hervorragend war.

Essen war gut jedoch sehr teuer ! Nach dem abholen des Essen bermerke meine Frau das es falsch war ... Nach dem Anruf dort bekommt man einfach fresch gesagt komm neues holen!
