We went twice for dinner, the waiters were very kind and friendly, some of them speak Spanish and others speak Spanish. They served us quickly and everything was very good. The plates are quite large. They are not pet-friendly, but they have a fairly large and comfortable terrace.

C'est bon, et surtout les serveurs sont aux petits soins et super apréables. Et compétents. Le prix est conforme à la qualité et au cadre. Vraiment un spot sympa en soirée. Je le recommande vivement!!!

The waiter is very rude. Unfortunately I do not know his name. When he tried to order food, we politely raised our hands, the waiter just said sit and the waiter also said "if you don't have time, come back tomorrow. " My family and I were shocked by his behavior and left the restaurant. I did not have a chance to taste the food ,so I will just rate it 3 stars.

Fantastic place with good food and service, especially Raul!

We had dinner here yesterday and although it is a tourist hotspot, the food and the service were really great... especially Raul the waiter was more than nice and accommodating... there were things that I had never experienced before, everything was purely positive... The pizza is also big and, above all, thin as you would expect.

We were a larger birthday group, the food tasted good, the service wasn't very good. You had to take care of everything yourself, order cards, cutlery and if you wanted to reorder or order new drinks, you waited and looked for the waiters in vain.

The food was very good, but it was expensive for the portions you got. The service was good. The ambience was very nice because you could sit outside on the terrace and see the TV tower.

Expensive for what you get on the plate. Very unfriendly service and excessive use of Italian. Insistence on a tip and the waiter tries to keep the change he should give. Well located but tourist trap, avoid!

Some lovely traditional Italian pizzas. The service however...we were ignored for the whole evening and had to intervene if we wanted to be served. One of the waiters acknowledged this the first time when he apologised for us being ignored and given no menus. But it continued all meal. Probably don't go here if you value good, attentive, quick service.

Everything is perfect as you would imagine. It is very romantically designed and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The food is made quickly and also very tasty. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. If I lived there I would be a regular, that's for sure. I will come back because it was just wow .^^

Pizza and (vegetarian) lasagna were good! We also got a lot of free bread. I only said three words and the waiter instantly clocked me as Polish. Very impressive!

Food was fine, service was okay. Our waiter was a bit confused and handling two tables at the same time causing him to place the wrong drinks at our table, just to pick them up a few minutes later and putting them down at the right table. Not a big problem, just a bit weird. But it can happen to the best of us. Would still recommend overall.

Lovely eating place with great service

The food is more typically touristy than really Italian and a bit expensive. We asked for parmesan 3 times and it was only brought to us when we had almost finished eating... otherwise it's nice to sit outside

We ordered a carbonara and it was a joke - if I wanted to eat scrambled eggs I’d just make them at home. Pizza was okay, nothing amazing but also not bad. Selection of wine is also ok. The waiter was mean, he literally threw us the bill and we had to wait a loooong time to order. Don’t recommend, there’s a lot of better places to eat.

I had a good experience of dinner in this restaurant. Dinner on the terrace after long busy day was quite nice. The food was tasty (Tonnato vitello is actually hard to spoil), Spaghetti aglio e olio was spicy as I like, vine was good. And the waiters were friendly.

I visited two years ago, when I went the gnocchi was delightful very creamy sauce and beautiful cheese, and the pizza was delectable, a real pleasure for the senses. Would recommend if you’re in the area. Better and more authentic than vapiano across the road.

We were very happy with everything. What should be highlighted is the very courteous service and the warm treatment. We are happy to recommend the restaurant and we will be happy to visit you again on our next trip to Berlin.

Bad food, bad service, prices too high for food this quality.

I can only recommend eating at Piazza Rossa. Very friendly and attentive staff that will forgive you if you are slightly confused because of the heat. The food was absolutely delicious! Satisfied and full, we continued exploring Berlin after a final café. We'd love to come back.

We visited today.Food was ok nothing special but the service, I didn‘t feel comfortable, waiters kept looking at us and laughing. Gossiping in italian. They would stay by our table laugh and make faces and then gossip. It felt like we were a social experiment, after that I didn‘t tip after that u can see that they were upset.

The pizza was pretty good! But you have to cut it yourself so it can get messy. I didn't love the vegetarian lasagna, it was very plain. And there is no complimentary bread with your meal.

Mold on panna cotta what more can I say.

Were served immediately. However, the wrong drink came twice. Appetizer arrived after about 10 minutes. However, the main course took 45 minutes (spaghetti and a salad). Other guests who came after us had already finished eating before we even got our food. But it wasn't full either. But the food itself wasn't anything special.

Nice shop. The pizza arugula with tomatoes was delicious. Spaghetti Aolio as well, the vegetarian lasagne not so much...

Claudio is the best waiter! Only went there because of him. He should get a raise. Food also great. Everything was very clean and a pleasant atmosphere!

I visited this place with a bunch of friends during our Berlin tour. As a tourist and a very introverted and anxious person my friends had to force me to go into a restaurant but it didn't dissapoint. The server was sweet, kind and didn't make us feel stupid, despite us being very awkward I ordered raviolli with spinach and ricotta and it was one of the most delicious pasta's I have eaten in an Italian restaurant. My friends ordered pizza's and they said it's fine, could be better. But I can only speak for what I ate. Basically 5/5, would recommend. <3

A really recommended Italian restaurant. You can eat well and enjoy good wine right on Alexanderplatz. The service is extremely friendly and accommodating and the food tastes very good at reasonable prices. Before that I was on the other side of the Alex in an unspecified location. It was loud there, the service - well - and totally overpriced. Luckily we found Piazza Rossa. If Alexanderplatz, then definitely eat here again! This may be my favorite Italian.

We ate here twice. Always the same experience. Good but not wow, basic taste. A bit of cuisine without risk or innovation, I think. A bit outdated inside and outside (seats worn). Price-quality was ultimately good here. Not a huge menu so I suspect most of it is fresh. Fast operation. Here also more Italian than German among the waiters.

A DISASTER. Starting with the lack of respect we received from the waiter and the man behind the bar. Aside from that, the pizza we ordered ranged from average to bad. He gave us a bad time and I was already feeling bad so I went to eat at the place to at least ask for the wifi to look for a pharmacy and they denied me access. That have never happened to me.

I had a Focaccia, and a Pizza Incredibile, two pilsner, and a gruppa. The food was very good, I have no complaints. The service was all right, but somewhat inscrutable. I didn't get a new knife and fork for the pizza, so I had to ask for it. The waiter was rather hazy, so it was difficult to grasp whether he understood me. I certainly do not want Italian waiters who sing arias from Bellini, but there is a middle way between that and what I had. Again, no dealbreaker, but less Italian aloofness, thank you. They are quite pricy, but well worth a visit.

Excellent pizza, large menu with variety of options, good prices, lots of seating inside and out, good beer and wine selection

This was an authentic Italian restaurant, the food was quick and delicious, seating was instant and there was little to no wait for anything, the waiters were on their game and for a quick bite to eat they were really quick with cranking out orders

The pizza was ok. Only the service was unfriendly. If you get a tip you have to say thank you. What was really disgusting when we were finished was the use of Ayva, which was on the table with us, which we used for the other guests who were behind We were sitting on the table. Who knows what other used food they put on the table of the other guests. NEVER AGAIN. I would prefer not to give a star.

Really delicious pizza. Romantic atmosphere and very friendly waiters. It's a delicious colada. We really liked it.

Carbonara waren einer Carbonara nicht würdig. Die Salami-Pizza war geschmacksfrei. Wo sich ebenfalls das Capaccio einreihte. Pizza-Caprese war vollständig untertemperiert. Das einzig nicht so unleckere Essen waren die Penne al Tartufo. Noch während wir unsere überwiegend ausbaufähigen Mahlzeiten herunter drückten. Wurden unsere Teller bereits abgeräumt. Daher eine absolute Nicht-Empfehlung.

Update May 2024. We were served by a rather unkempt waiter. I lost my appetite. We quickly agreed: the pizza had a weak taste. Shame about the money. We probably won't come here again. Very pleasant and very tasty. We will come back and recommend the Ristorante.

On September 10th, 2024 (8 people) we waited over 10 minutes for the menu and weren't even asked for drinks...then we left and next door everything was perfect

The food was good, the wine was sad and the service lousy. This is probably the most indifferent waiter I have experienced. I tried to say that the food tasted good - the waiter replied yes. The waiter completed the bad experience by crumpling the receipt and throwing it on the table.

Pizza was very good, super thin base and super quality, 1 big negative; personnel.... Not friendly, not interested, and asked for a tip, the receipt also said: tip not included in capital letters. We did not tip purely because the staff was not friendly and asked for the tip. Questions are skipped. Anyway, pizza is great but the staff/atmosphere is not.

Very nice restaurant, classically furnished, cozy. Great service with very nice and funny staff. Menu has a great selection and everything was delicious. Visit was really fun! We came straight back the next evening :-)

I had Prataiola Pizza and Mojito drink. Both delicious, especially pizza! I don’t usually eat pizza with any meat, but this parm ham was super good. Recommend!

The worst pasta I've ever had was the basics. I gave a tip even though the customer service was terrible. Employees raise more on their own. Terrible service, 0 professionalism. I thought it was a bad day for the employee, but looking at the lowest review ratings, it was all an issue with one employee's service. It's a pity that he isn't even professional.

My regular Italian for a good 20 years. We like to go there, enjoy the tourist activity around us and find the price-performance ratio absolutely reasonable. We will be back :-)

Basically I'm satisfied. The price according to the location. However, leave out the artichokes and add salami, +3€. Ok, I don't have to like it.

Close to Place Alexander Plate, the pizzas are good and you can have glasses of wine. Helpful service but the use of Italian to communicate with the waiters is boring 🥱. The service requires a little more respect from the customer

Everything seemed to be going well until a certain waiter (the one with a shaved head) came to take our order in a very annoyed tone, when we asked him if he could come back in 5 minutes, he told us replied “that he knew how to do his job”. We did not understand this remark, then at the end of the meal, when paying, this same waiter insisted on tips, we refused, but he still charged an additional €5 for no reason!!! Once that happened, he turned his back on us. No goodbye, no thank you, we just had to leave. If you are French tourists, they will be rude to you and take extra euros from you without your consent. Absolutely flee

Nous nous sommes allés à ce restaurant qui se situe à AlexanderPlatz. Tout semblait bien se passer jusqu’à ce qu’un certain serveur (celui qui a le crâne rasé) est venu prendre notre commande sur un ton très agacé, quand nous lui avons demandé si il pouvait revenir d’ici 5 minutes, il nous a répondu « qu’il savait faire son travail ». Nous n’avons pas compris cette remarque, puis à la fin du repas, au moment de payer, ce même serveur a insisté pour avoir des pourboires, nous avons refusé, mais il a quand même débité 5€ supplémentaire sans aucune raison!!! Une fois cela, il nous a tourné le dos. Pas un au revoir, pas un merci, il fallait juste partir. Si vous êtes des touristes français, ils seront désagréables avec vous et vous prendront sans votre consentement des euros supplémentaires. Fuyez absolument

Restaurant to avoid because the service is very aggressive and unpleasant. The waiter gives the price orally without giving the bill and clearly states that the price does not include the tip. When he comes back to collect payment he clearly tells us that the tip left is not enough. General server aggressiveness. Mr. Waiter, tipping is not obligatory in Germany and depends on customer satisfaction. As it turns out, you don't deserve any. Change jobs!

The waiter who served us, Claudio, was very friendly. Very good food.

The waiter was very disrespectful and did not give good service at all. He was rude and accused us of treating hm disrespectfully which was not the case at all. The food was good but expensive compared to the rest of Berlin. All the drinks just tasted like alcohol. Would not recommend going here. However, it was a cozy atmosphere and nice and comfortable sofas/chairs.

We stopped in here albeit for a very quick bite to eat but did have 3 delicious bowls of pasta. The menu was good with lots of options in each section. Service was good and it’s in a great central location if you’re starving after a long day of sightseeing!

Die Gegend um den Alexanderplatz ist wegen des zahlreichen eher zwiespältigen Publikums problematisch und kulinarisch eher nicht empfehlenswert. Eine wohltuende Ausnahme macht das Piazza Rossa. Die Lage gegenüber dem Roten Rathaus ist mit beiden Terrassen sehr atmosphärisch und wirkt einladend. Drinnen wähnt man sich in Italien. Die Speisen sind lecker und angemessen kalkuliert. Das gilt auch für die offenen Weine, die in angenehm großen Gläsern wunderbar temperiert serviert werden. Das Personal ist schon beim Empfang ausgesprochen aufmerksam und freundlich, zu Stammgästen ebenso wie gegenüber den zahlreichen Touristen. Sehr empfehlenswert.
