Unfortunately, the bottle of wine wasn't served cold (but thanks for the spontaneous glass of Pinot Grigio), and I didn't like the food (pasta with scampi) because of the amount of sauce. Unfortunately the restaurant was full, so the background noise was very loud.

We can only recommend the restaurant. We had our Christmas party there and all the employees were very happy. We always like to come back.

Were there after seeing a musical and just wanted something to drink. Restaurant was only 1/4 busy. We were still not allowed to sit at a table and were directed to the bar. The bartender was very nice and accommodating, unfortunately the waitress was not.

Great ambience and very good central location. The very attentive service is very friendly and always there when needed. The menu offers many vegetarian options. The truffle pasta from the I find a cheese wheel too expensive at €32. The pasta dishes were all very good and cooked by experts. Only the gnocchi wasn't our taste and was very powerful with the gorgonzola sauce. I swapped with my daughter because she didn't like her food and had to fight hard. Overall, a very nice place to go out. You should already have the necessary change with you.

We spent our Christmas party there. All the staff were very polite and arranged. Food was great. Even though we were a large group, everyone got their food at the same time. And it was hot. That's how it should be. I wish the entire team a lot of fun and lots of guests. I can fully recommend this restaurant.

A nice restaurant in downtown Hamburg, first impression of the place is very inviting and clean! Some of the staff were very nice and helpful, but 1-2 waiters should go back to the school of friendliness. Regarding the food, I can say that pizza is great but pasta is a flop, at least the penné with cream mushroom sauce - a shame. The salad we ordered was delicious - thank you! Overall, the shop is fine, but the waiters have to be open to criticism when evaluating the food and remain nice. Otherwise I would like to come back.

I had ordered a table x2 with a tablecloth. This is very important to my companion (from the USA) and, lo and behold, we received a very nice corner table including a tablecloth! The service was attentive but not intrusive. We were presented with the daily specials, which we ultimately chose from. The wines offered were also very tasty. This visit was considered an early dinner before the opera - we left the restaurant very satisfied after great service and high quality food. We will definitely recommend OPERA and will certainly be happy to come back! Thank you for making this visit so special for us!

The duck we ordered was a disaster. At the When clearing away, no one asked if everything was OK, even though the plate was still full. Overall, the service was very inattentive and seemed rather annoyed. At 3:02 p.m. we were also two minutes late for our lunch order, which we didn't get. We definitely won't come again.

Incredibly RAS... TABLES IF YOU ARE S...RZ, THEY WILL TELL YOU TO SIT AT THE BAR! I've been to this restaurant twice for lunch because of a seminar I'm attending. The first time the treatment was strange. On the second day there were free tables but I was told to sit at the bar. When I got to the bar there was only one black man sitting at the bar. So far so good, I pretended at the time that I didn't understand this as racism until I realized that white Germans get better tables and blacks don't get tables offer, they treat her terribly. NEVER AGAIN

Smart service :) Food and drinks recommended, but certainly not a revelation. We would still go again.

I really liked it, prices are a bit higher, but within the affordable range. Pizzas from 14 euros, pasta dishes from 15 euros. It tasted great and the service was excellent.

Today I stirred the fettuccine in a large piece of parmesan, I only knew it from videos and it was sooooo delicious! My uncle's plates, Pizza Burata, my mom's, Gnocchi Gorgonzola and my cousin's fried zander fillet also looked really tasty! And according to what all three said, they were, we were full and happy after the meal and will definitely come back on our next business trip. I can definitely recommend the restaurant!

Very tasty pizza and pasta. The pike perch fillet was also delicious. The crème bruelle and the tiramisu were super tasty. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the service is also great.

we have ordered 1 entrance and 1 salad to share as we were not so hungry. the entrance was supposed to be burrata with ruccula pear nuts and fresh truffle. the plate came without pear and truffle the salad that we had afterwards was wrong. we ordered something and got a ceasar salad. which we notify to the waiter so we got our order corrected + extra pears. The salad did not taste like it should have, it had a taste of soil or mold at some time. upon paying we notify the waiter that we were not so satisfy of the experience and we were completely ignored as payment was successful and left without apologies. do not recommend at all

Really a very tasty restaurant that we were able to try after our visit to the State Opera. The staff was really very friendly and the food tasted extremely good. Price performance was also very satisfactory. Would come again and again.

What fun, after exploring Hamburg all day we needed some rest and looked for a terrace but were turned away. They were too unwell to bring water for two people. The longer orders will be received. Surprised at so much discomfort!

We were there last night with a small group. My husband ordered sea bass and I ordered pike perch fillet. We both absolutely loved the food. I would love to go back and eat this again ☺️ The dishes on the menu all have great and unusual side dishes. This is very rare to find. At first I thought my meal was missing a filling side dish, because the pike-perch fillet came with honey carrot puree and saffron sauce with grilled peppers. But I was pretty full afterwards. Nevertheless, I ordered a tiramisu and it was super tasty and fluffy. The pizzas the others ate looked delicious too! But I was absolutely happy with my choice, and so was my husband. The waiters were super friendly! So, don’t hesitate, go and eat fish 😉👍

15 euro for 2 bottles of water ?really? In my county you call it a scam or tourist trap, pizza was average and salad i payed 17 euros but after i realized in menu it was around 13 euro

I enjoyed the food very much. The wine is too expensive in my opinion. The service is good. The Lockal is beautifully decorated and very clean.

After years, I was here for lunch two days in a row. The lunch selection is great. The prices match the food and location. You will be full and satisfied.

Restaurant located near the Gänsemarkt with an interesting ambience inside and places to sit outside. Absolutely interesting lunch at fair prices with good portions to fill you up. The pizza and risotto were absolutely creative and delicious. Service was quick, friendly and helpful. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked great. Gladly again.

As soon as you enter the Opera restaurant there is a “feel-good atmosphere”. It is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. The service is very attentive and attentive. Unfortunately, the pasta arrabbiata ordered via Lieferando was soggy and totally overcooked and tasteless. Pizza also limp and tasteless, like the Wiener Schnitzel without salt and not fried in clarified butter. "Soufflé" is simply tasteless and like cardboard

Very tasty and cozy Italian restaurant in the Hanseatic Quarter on the Alster. Was here for the first time and the selection is very unusual and great creations. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. I'd love to come back. Very cozy and invitingly designed.

We were here spontaneously on a Sunday evening. The staff is very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We had the starter variation for two and a pasta dish each. Everything is extremely delicious! The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. We'd love to come back! :)

Our office is in the immediate vicinity of the Opera, which is why I like to visit it regularly for lunch. A daily changing lunch menu with 9 dishes - also available to take away - is offered until 3 p.m. There are also fixed daily specials here, such as the schnitzel on Thursday. Super nice and attentive staff quickly deliver the always delicious, well portioned and attractively priced plate. I would love to come back and can only recommend a visit.

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, you feel very comfortable and it is cozy. The service was very courteous and friendly. We had the beef fillet with leaf spinach and fried potatoes. The taste is very fine, but unfortunately not hot.

The fatter waiter is extremely rude. The food is quite average and the schnitzels are cold.

Original restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and fair prices. The food is really excellent. Particularly worth highlighting are the fettucine from the Parmesan wheel with truffle topping. The service staff visited us very often - which isn't a bad thing in itself. But just before we worked our way through the drinks menu there were three visits. Even when ordering the food, attempts were made several times to take the order. We really weren't slow. This created a certain hectic pace, as if you were being processed quickly so that space could be made promptly for the next customers. It took less than 40 minutes between placement, ordering, service, eating and payment - for four people.

It was a very pleasant visit to the restaurant before our evening at the opera. We were warmly welcomed and served so quickly by the attentive service that we were even able to attend the introductory event. The food was really tasty and the price was reasonable. A table reservation is strongly recommended.

The restaurant is ideal for a visit after the opera, directly opposite. It's worth booking in advance and was easily possible over the phone, even the kitchen stayed up late because of the late end of the performance at the opera. The food was outstanding and the price was reasonable. The service was regular but not intrusive and very accommodating. A few things could have been better, such as the sticky cocktail menus, no refilled tea lights or the frequency of cleaning the toilets. Regardless, we had a very nice time and felt very comfortable. The main courses were perfectly crafted, very aromatic and surprisingly interpreted. The dessert was also very good, but couldn't quite keep up with the main course but was still tasty. Die Küche ist zwar "auch nur" italienisch, aber immer sehr gelungen, es gibt auch Super-Suppen, Pizza und Pasta lecker und auf den Punkt. Vorweg gutes frisches helles Brot mit Spitzen-(heißt das so?)Pesto. Und ein richtig wacher flinker Service. Immer voll aber auch ohne Reservierung suchen sie dir schnell 1-2 Plätze. Die Preise sind dann wie der Name sagt eher auf Opernniveau.

Sehr leckeres Essen und wenn man anschließend in die Oper geht gibt es 10% Rabatt auf das Essen.

Der Service ist super, es gibt sogar einige Gerichte, wo am Tisch tranchiert wird oder mit einem riesigen Parmesanrad die Nudeln verfeinert werden. Die Einrichtung ist sehr designbetont und sauber. Und hier ist die Verbindung zu meinem Kritikpunkt: Wie die Einrichtung ist auch sonst nichts echt italienisch. Die Nudeln sind das einzige halbwegs authentische, bei einer Pizza für knapp 20 € erwarte ich schon etwas mehr als die deutsche Standardausführung. Wer etwas edler essen möchte und nicht auf Preis-/Leistung schaut ist hier aber definitiv richtig – ich mit einem Faible für neapolitanische Pizza und authentisch italienische Speisen bin hier definitiv falsch.

Einfach ein kulinarischer Tempel 🛕 und auch wenn der Laden voll ist, bekommt man einen Platz und mindestens ein Lächeln! Herr Fischer ist neben den ganzen Servicekräften herausragend!

Essen ist wirklich gut und die Auswahl auch in Ordnung. Lediglich die Garnelenpfanne könnte etwas größer sein. Das Personal ist sehr höflich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Zu der Lautstärke lässt sich nichts sagen, da wir fast die Einzigen waren. Also völlig angenehm!

Super lækkert og fantastisk service. Og så var det en helt oplevelse at se dem røre spaghettien rundt i parmesan hjulet. Virkelig en god oplevelse, og så kunne vores værtinde endda tale rigtig godt engelsk.

Ein sehr schönes und gemütliches Restaurant. Von den Preisen etwas gehobener angesiedelt, aber alles angemessen. Die Pizza dort ist excellent. Auf Wunsch von scharfer Soße würde mir selbgemachtes Chilliöl gereicht und zusätzlich selbstgemachtes Knoblauchöl. Beides war richtig gut und wurde nicht extra in Zahlung gestellt. War haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt bald wieder.

The food arrived fast, well served plates, really good food. Food taste and quality was very good. Fish was awesome. The place is super crowded and you need to reserve a table before. The location is very good. A bit pricey though.

Ottimi accoglienza, servizio e cucina italiana opportunamente rivisitata. Strepitose le tagliatelle al tartufo. Da non perdere dopo una serata all’opera giusto di fronte.

Tolles, unscheinbares Restaurant in zentraler Lage am Stephansplatz! Wirklich super, dass es eine Trüffelkarte gibt 😋 Unsere sehr leckeren Pasta-Gerichte rundeten das schöne Ambiente und der tolle Service ab. Wir wurden von Anne bedient und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt ☺️

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend im Ristorante Opera. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und schnell. Als Vorspeise gab es ein Kalbstatar und als Hauptgericht Fettuccine aus dem Parmesanlaib mit Trüffel. Die Pasta wird frisch am Tisch zubereitet und war ausgesprochen lecker!
