Eine Ode an die provinzielle Mittelmäßigkeit Wenn Nostalgie einen Duft hätte, würde dieses Lokal ihn abfüllen und als Hausspezialität verkaufen. Die Speisekarte liest sich, als wäre sie um den Fall der Berliner Mauer entstanden und hätte sich nie wieder umgedreht. Die Atmosphäre ist ein seltsamer Cocktail aus provinzieller Wichtigtuerei und veralteter Ausstattung. Das Personal hat die Kunst perfektioniert, Gästen das Gefühl zu geben, sie würden den Service stören, nur weil sie da sind. Was die Küche angeht: Sagen wir einfach, Italien kann heute Nacht beruhigt schlafen. Dieses Restaurant würde dort keinen Monat überleben, und das wissen sie auch. Vielleicht hat das Essen hier ja seine Bewunderer. Ich persönlich ging mit dem Gefühl, dass das Authentischste, was hier geboten wurde, die existenzielle Krise war. Ein Stern; nicht weil Perfektion unerreichbar ist, sondern weil Klasse es anscheinend nicht ist.

Ein Lokal mit echter Seele! Wer hier ein flüsterleises Schickimicki-Restaurant sucht, ist natürlich falsch. Aber genau das macht den Charme aus! Die Stimmung ist wunderbar lebendig, gesellig und voller echter Lebensfreude. Das Essen ist herrlich bodenständig, ehrlich und ohne abgehobene Trends – es schmeckt einfach super. Auch der Service ist authentisch, flink und herrlich direkt, statt künstlich aufgesetzt. Fazit: Ein toller Ort, der sich selbst treu bleibt. Wer ehrliche Gastfreundschaft und Charakter schätzt, wird es hier lieben!

Seit Jahren unser liebster Italiener im Umkreis. Service ist nicht zu übertreffen. Küche liefert Standard und kreative Wochenkarte. Sehr empfehlenswert. Als neuer Gast würde ich reservieren.

Was für eine unerwartete Überraschung! Als unser Hotelrestaurant plötzlich geschlossen hatte, dachten wir schon, wir bekämen nichts zu essen. Das Hotel empfahl uns Menzingers. Ich hatte nicht erwartet, in der deutschen Vorstadt so gut italienisch zu essen. Aber ich wurde eines Besseren belehrt! Unsere Bedienung war effizient, hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Das Essen war hervorragend, zubereitet mit hochwertigen Zutaten und von einem talentierten Koch. Jeder Bissen war ein Genuss, und wir haben unser Essen sehr genossen. Das Restaurant ist hundefreundlich; die Bedienung bringt jedem vierbeinigen Gast einen Wassernapf. Der Käse im Caesar Salad war von überragender Qualität, und die Tomatensoße war einfach köstlich. Wir planen, heute Abend wiederzukommen und freuen uns schon sehr darauf. Wir haben gesehen, wie fantastische Steaks serviert wurden – es gibt also nicht nur italienische Küche. Probieren Sie dieses Restaurant aus, es wird Ihnen gefallen!

Sehr gute italienische Küche, die Trüffel Pasta von der Tageskarte war sehr gut und auch die restlichen Gerichte bzw. Nachspeisen top!

Super Italienisches Restaurant mit Garten neben dem Haus. Gerichte sind super lecker zubereitet. Parkplätze gibt es ein paar vor dem Gebäude aber auch direkt an der Straße.

Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Abend

Der Garten ist im Sommer sehr schön, auch Ambiente drinnen ist stilvoll. Aber neuerdings sind die Portionen extrem klein geworden. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt einfach nicht mehr.

Ich kann es selbst kaum glauben, aber ich muss es einfach loswerden. Das war mein zweiter Besuch hier. Der Angestellte war mit meinem Trinkgeld nicht einverstanden und fragte spöttisch: „Wenn Sie zufrieden waren, warum geben Sie dann so wenig?“ Es war mein erstes Date mit meiner Freundin, und der Angestellte sagt so etwas Unverschämtes. Habe ich vielleicht nicht genug Geld? Will ich vielleicht kein Trinkgeld geben? Bin ich dazu verpflichtet? Wie kann man so etwas sagen? Ich werde nie wieder hierherkommen und es auch niemandem empfehlen.

Wir kennen das Menzingers seit 26 Jahren. Es war früher unser Lieblingslokal. Seit einiger Zeit ist das Essen so schlecht geworden und die Preise extrem. Trotzdem wollten wir es heute noch einmal ausprobieren und es war das letzte Mal. Ich hatte Lachs mit einer Zitronensoße und Kartoffeln. Es war gegen 15:00 Uhr, der Koch wollte wohl in die Mittagspause, obwohl durchgehend warme Küche angeboten wird. Die Zitronensauce war dünn wie Wasser und das Fett hatte sich getrennt, was ich auf den ersten Blick gesehen habe und direkt reklamiert habe. es kam eine Sauce, die genauso dünn war, und als ich angefangen habe, zu essen, merkte ich, dass die Kartoffeln lauwarm bis kalt waren . Ein Ober , Namens Niko, gab mir daraufhin als Antwort: Die Kartoffeln sind, wie sie sind! Tolle Ansage. Der Ober wurde hinterher noch frecher…. eine Reklamation würde reichen… Es tut uns leid um dieses schöne Restaurant Aber so etwas kann man nicht hinnehmen. Ein Gericht wurde von der Rechnung genommen, darum ging es mir aber nicht, Wer ins Menzinger geht, wird sicherlich nicht auf den Pfennig achten müssen…

Eines der besten italienischen Restaurants in München. Das Menzingers überzeugt mit sensationeller Küche, alle Gerichte waren perfekt. Der Service ist freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Ich komme gerne wieder!!!

Das Essen (Pizza) sieht aus wie eine Fertigpizza und schmeckt auch nicht sonderlich gut! Preise im höheren Preissegment und auf keinen Fall das Essen Wert!!!

Ich gebe eine 0, weil ich weniger nicht geben kann. Bei Google ist die Reservierungsoption aktiviert, auch wenn das Lokal wegen einer privaten Veranstaltung geschlossen ist. Wir haben eine Reservierung gemacht, sogar eine Bestätigung erhalten, und als wir dort ankamen, wurde uns gesagt, dass wir nicht hinein können, weil eine private Veranstaltung stattfindet. Es ist inakzeptabel, dass ein Restaurant Reservierungen zulässt und bestätigt, um dann die Gäste vor Ort abzuweisen. Wegen dieser schlechten Organisation standen wir ohne Plan da. Ich werde hier definitiv nicht noch einmal versuchen zu reservieren.

Sehr aufmerksamer Service und wunderbar gewürzte Speisen. Ein Genuß!

Das Restaurant ist nicht sehr gemütlich. Es ist viel zu eng bestuhlt. Die Einrichtung ist nicht sehr einladend und kann auch nicht durch weiße Tischdecken kaschiert werden, wenn ansonsten alles in braun gestaltet ist. Der Service war eher lustlos und ohne Charme. Das Essen war unterdurchschnittlich und erstaunlich schnell am Tisch und viel zu heiß.

Wir haben den Silversterabend 2025 im Menzingers gemeinsam mit Freunden verbracht. Der Service war wie gewohnt persönlich und sehr aufmerksam trotz Ausreservierung. Das Silvestermenü war hervorragend zubereitet und auch mit der hohen Auslastung waren kleine Änderungen in der Menüfolge möglich. Ein insgesamt superschöner Abend und Jahresausklang 2025, vielen Dank an das gesamt Team plus DJs :-)

Wir haben in diesem eleganten Restaurant wunderbar gegessen. Wir wurden sehr zuvorkommend bedient, obwohl unsere Kleidung für dieses schöne Lokal etwas zu leger war. Der Kellner war besonders freundlich zu meinem müden Sohn. Wir waren dem Personal sehr dankbar für die aufmerksame Betreuung.

We had a truly wonderful evening today at Menzingers Restaurant in Obermenzing. From the moment you enter, you feel immediately welcome – the ambiance is stylish yet cozy. The culinary highlight was a true highlight: The pike-perch with pak choi and potatoes was perfectly cooked, tender, and aromatic. The Saltimbocca alla Romana was equally impressive – finely seasoned, deliciously prepared, and a delight to the last bite. We also had an excellent Lugana wine that perfectly complemented the dishes, as well as a refreshing Prosecco grappa for the digestif. A big thank you also to Paolo, who looked after us throughout the evening with great attention, charm, and professionalism – simply fantastic! In summary: Excellent cuisine, fantastic wines, perfect service. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend Menzingers!

Excellent dinner and great service 🍝🍷 We had a very good dinner at Ristorante Menzingers and were completely satisfied. The cuisine impresses with high-quality ingredients, perfectly prepared dishes, and great attention to detail. Everything tasted excellent and was beautifully presented. The kitchen did a very good job. Service was pleasant and prompt. With four people at the table, the courses arrived at the same time for everyone.

This evening, the three of us went to Ristorante Menzingers for dinner. My pizza was really very good, but my two companions weren't happy with their pasta dishes. The older gentleman who served us was quite pushy at first when it came to ordering our food, and then he disappeared again. We were too slow for him, and we had to endure several comments about whether the menu was too complicated and whether we couldn't get it soon. That's not how I imagine a cozy evening. I definitely won't go there again.

No hay aire acondicionado lo cual lo hace miserable en verano. No hay ascensor, así que Dios te ayude si tienes maletas grandes. El desayuno estuvo bueno. Tenga cuidado... no limpian la habitación todos los días, lo cual es una decepción total para alguien como yo, que es súper particular con la limpieza. Había bolas de polvo debajo de la cama y simplemente usé una de sus toallas para limpiar el piso. Lugar sobrevalorado

It's a wonderful garden. The service is perfect. The food is perfect. I would love to go there again with friends or family. You can be sure you won't be disappointed.

Unfortunately, the salami and tuna pizzas were very bland and soft, like pancakes. After an extra round in the oven, at least they were crispy. We won't have to have them again. The pasta arrabiata was very good, and the vitello tonnato was good.

The food tastes very good. The service always depends on who's serving you. There are very nice, polite young gentlemen, but also staff who make you wonder if they work in the right industry. Unfortunately, it's often very loud; but that's simply because it's often very busy.

This evening was unforgettable! Was it the amazing wine and the amazing food? Absolutely, AMAZING! But it was topped by Adrian & Daniel. The two of them provided us with incredible service. 🫶🥰

You can eat anything here. Unless you want a pizza. The pizza dough tastes like pre-made dough, the base is soggy, and the pizza is much too small for the price. The dishes from the daily menu are great, but the prices don't reflect what's on offer. A poorly poured beer might happen occasionally, but if that happens regularly, it's beyond borderline acceptable given the price. In general, Menzingers is completely overpriced. However, the ambiance is nice, the small beer garden is cozy, and the servers are friendly. In summary: plenty of light, but also plenty of shade.

Service is only friendly to people you know. The rest is second-rate.

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience overall. The pizza was cold, the base was soft instead of crispy, the ham seemed old, and the mushrooms didn't look fresh either. The pasta was a "Pasta all'Arrabbiata," but unfortunately, just like the pizza, it tasted very much like supermarket fare – no trace of fresh Italian cuisine. The service also left a lot to be desired: unfriendly, unattentive, and lacking any genuine interest in the customer. We sent the food back – although we weren't charged for it, there was no response as to why we were so dissatisfied. Not a good impression. We definitely won't be back.

Ambiance is very nice, rather classic. There is also seating outside, i.e. a terrace with plants around it.

We always enjoy going to Menzingers – the food is consistently first class. Unfortunately, the service could be a little more attentive. During the meal we rarely ask whether everything is OK or whether we would like something more to drink. Overall, Menzingers is a really great restaurant, but a little more attention and interest in the guest would round off the experience.

My absolute favorite Italian restaurant in Munich. In the summer you can sit outside in a really nice and quiet way. The food is excellent and the waiters are very friendly and accommodating. Das Essen hat so leider gar nichts mit frischem und vor allem italienischen Essen zu tun, sondern schmeckt nach geschmacksneutraler "08/15" Kantine. Eine Produktküche wäre so leicht umzusetzen, stattdessen wird sich an "raffinierter Küche" versucht, sehr schade und zieht sich nun schon über einen längeren Zeitraum hin. Wir kommen erst wieder wenn sich das Küchen-Konzept sich geänendert hat.

Thank you for the great food from the extremely committed chef and the very attentive and competent service from a super mixed team of dynamic young to very experienced waiters, all in a feel-good atmosphere to enjoy at the bar (!)! Even the drive from the city center past the Botanical Garden to Obermenzing is worth it, we promise!

Anyone who calls themselves an “Italian” must also offer a real wood-fired pizza. However, when I get a pizza with a frozen crust for €15, I can only shake my head. The edge and base tasted like a Dr. Oetker from our own oven. Lasagna wasn't anything special either, as was the fish for just under €30. The best taste was the Vitello Tonnato. But your pizzas are ridiculous. You can see when the waiters come out of the kitchen with the pizza - it's a good way to hide the fact that it's not fresh. Was definitely the last visit here.

We made a reservation here to celebrate something with the family after our civil wedding When we arrived at lunchtime, a beautifully laid table was waiting for us without us asking and a very friendly waiter who welcomed and congratulated us. These small gestures alone are something that we were very happy about All I can really say is that we were completely satisfied from start to finish and were able to really enjoy the whole day The food was very good as was the service We can really only say thank you to the entire Menzingers team for accompanying us on this special day with food and drinks

Had our post-wedding meal there. Very tasty, staff courteous Update: After almost four years, a lot has happened - unfortunately for the worse. Pizza for €12 was ok. Homemade, good pizza, but still at a high price and a bit too small. But now the biggie: pizza for €17 (!) lukewarm, parma ham simply placed on top and baked, rocket and parmesan completely forgotten. You call and a box of arugula and parmesan is delivered 30 minutes after delivery. The pizza was long cold. I would have had them returned to the restaurant - we would definitely have expected fresh ones upon delivery. For 31€ (because delivery fee even though it was just 1km away) that was actually a disgrace. Everyone can forget something sometimes because there's a lot going on or whatever. But then you expect to be treated appropriately for this price if you make a mistake like that. I don't know if there's been a change in the last few months or years, but based on the reviews you can tell that the quality has definitely declined.

The pizza is nothing special. Not very big either. Unfortunately, the board with the daily specials was only brought to the regular guests and not. We're not coming anymore.

Decent Italian food, good portions, prices ok.

Location and beer garden: very nice Orders were not taken correctly and we were given to understand that we had ordered it that way. Cola instead of Spezi, two bottles of San Pellegrino instead of two glasses of water, large drink instead of small. We had to go in to order more drinks because the waiter consistently ignored us. (6-person table) 4 out of 4 pizzas were totally over salted whereas the lasagna desperately needed salt. Unfortunately there was none at the table. With 4 pieces of bruschetta for €12, the taste is surprisingly bland. In other words: nice ambience with significantly higher prices and at the same time poor service! Probably won't go there again.

I love the pasta alla marinara, but the other dishes are fantastic too. Pizza didn't really impress me. But the main courses are varied and excellently seasoned. Some of the staff seem a bit snooty, but they are still friendly.

Ein italienisches Restaurant zum Wohlfühlen mit einem wunderschönen Biergarten. Essen ist toll und Service ist sehr umsichtig. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen mit vielen Stammgästen. Dies führt oft zu angenehmem Gesprächen.

The pizzas were more of the quality of a ready-made pizza. The service wasn't particularly nice either. The pasta dishes were tasty, but not much.

Interest was sparked by the good reviews, but we were very disappointed with the pizzas. These correspond more to the quality of a simple delivery service and not to the quality of an Italian kitchen. Price performance FOR PIZZA not justified. The waiters' motivation left a lot to be desired.
