The staff is super friendly and the service is quick, even at peak times. The portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is great. You have to be honest and admit that most of the reviews here don't go into the food. Everything was great and all in all very good kebab. If you're at the train station, stop by here to satisfy your hunger

We had a Dürüm Vegetarian & a Dürüm Falafel. Both were well filled and tasty and very well priced. Unfortunately, the cheese in the vegetarian Dürüm tasted quite strange, which is why it was left out. What should definitely be improved: Unfortunately, touching money first and then preparing the Dürüm without washing your hands is not possible! Service was otherwise nice :)

The staff is quite chic. I was at the Amba Hotel and smelled it and went right in. It was a bit salty, so it was delicious and okay. The set menu with cola was 8.5 euros, each item was 6, and the beer was 3 euros, for a total of 17.5 euros. The only set menu is chicken! There are chicken and beef types of kebabs, and beef seems to sell better.

We stayed a block from here for a week during Oktoberfest. The food was decent, about what you’d expect from a quick service spot. I didn’t find anything wrong with our doners (nothin raw like others mentioned). The seasoning just wasn’t to my liking. My word of caution is to make sure you’re diligent on pricing. We went here 3 times during our stay. The first time, the cashier totaled up our doners so they were 2 EUR more each. When asked, he said he made a mistake and corrected. Our second time, there was no issue. Our last visit consisted of taking away 5 doner and 8 cans of beer (their cans were below and handwritten 3 EUR price, bottles were by a 4 EUR price). The initial cost came to 13 EUR more than we were expecting. They priced every item more by 1 EUR. When questioned, he fixed the price on the food, but not the beer, insisting that the 3 EUR was meant only for soda, not the beer despite the placement. I told him we would take the doner and put back the beer. He said it was all or none, so I started to leave. At that point, he begrudgingly fixed the price on the beer as well. It felt a little shady that pricing and discrepancies seem to only happen in their favor. We did not return after the last stop.

Really very bad kebab shop. Bread was soggy, meat wasn't cooked through, value for money was subpar. Also unfriendly. My last visit!

The meat (veal) is a disaster, it's not cooked through, it smells unpleasant and is inedible, please don't go there, this shop is worth the money! I had to throw the box away straight away because I couldn't eat it anymore... it was really bad, including a stomach ache ✌🏻

It's just a business whose name is Istanbul but it has nothing to do with Turkish or Muslim. I wouldn't recommend it at all because its doner bread is smaller than my finger.

This place has cursed me with a menial existence where Ill never, again, be able to achieve the foodgasm I received from their doner kebab. After trying one perfect one here, no other restaurant will ever come close and Ill be forced to feel a level of disappointed after every one of their poor imitations to what I received here. Seeing as I doubt Ill ever be back in Germany, at least not for many years to come, there is little chance that Ill get to have Istanbul Imbiss's attempt at capturing nirvana into a pita again. I am cursed to wonder the desert of lackluster kebabs for the rest of time.

Two drunk guys came in while we were ordering, They let them buy more beer. The guy helping me took care of them and another guy started helping me who was rude. I told him what I wanted on it but he started going fast throwing everything on.. I said just onions for a second time, I needed all the cabbage off because it was for my daughter. He got irritated and rolled his eyes. I told him never mind I'll just go down the street.

There was a hair in my kebab, all the tables were still full of unfinished kebab plates, the atmosphere wasn't good because the employees weren't very unfriendly either. Ps: just a casino in the middle of the kebab shop

Unhöfliche Arbeiter, ein Stern ist zu viel. I greeted them, but they did not accept my greeting. I asked, "Are you Turkish and Muslim?" and they answered no. I said your name is Istanbul Döner, they replied sarcastically that it's just our name. Stay away from such fraudulent Muslims and Turks.

I ate a durum on March 17, 2024. In durum it was more salad than meat. I don't recommend the place!!.☔️💫

I was there today and ordered a kebab box. But you can call it a salad box (very little meat but costs 9€). That doesn't taste good. I couldn't pay with the card. That's why I had to go to a kiosk next to it. The receipt says that I bought tobacco. I don't know if that's normal.

A server from the restaurant next door to the döner place came through the back door by the bathrooms and grabbed my friend's durum as he was eating it. Imagine it, it was like a movie! A complete stranger interrupts your conversation to aggressively joke as though he is asking for a bite of your friend's food!!! It was insane, I cannot remember something like this happening to me before. And he just laughed it off like it was normal! What a psycho. The two restaurants seem to share a back hallway, because several times a cook came out from the same place as that psycho server. When we finished eating I stood outside to wait and the cook was there smoking a cigarette. He oogled by whole body, even after I looked him in the eyes and asked him, "what?!" This guy just stared at me for five minutes while smoking his cigarette like I was some kind of inert object. He did not react to me at all when I showed discomfort and irritation. This place is run by unadjusted, aggressive, bizarrely behaved men. DO NOT GO HERE..

Why only 1 star? The food was disgusting, I had a dürüm and after two bites I ran to the toilet in the train station. It was completely inedible and unwearable. The salesman was standing outside with a smoker, (don't know if he smoked before) hadn't washed his hands when he made my food. Prices are inhumanly high for this food. It says something about quality on the outside, but no. I know many kebab shops and have 2 regular shops. I advise against this.

7€ für einen kleinen Kalbsdöner - am Ende ist man aber froh dass er nicht größer ist. Das Fleisch erinnert auch eher nicht an Kalb, wahrscheinlich eher ein paar Knorpel vom Kalb und der Rest vom Hammel. Ich hoffe ich hole mir keine Lebensmittelvergiftung...

Richtig schlechter Döner der schlechteste den ich bisher gegesen habe. Waren mit 10 Leuten hier ein Döner 2go mitnehmen nach 2 bissen in die Tonne geworfen. Das ist kein Döner das ist ein reiner Fett/Knörpel haufen. Allerbilligstes Fleisch. Der Döner besteht sicher nur noch weil er am Bahnhof ist. Nachfrage was das für ein Fleisch ist kamm nur Kalb ist halt fettig. Drecksladen

Sorry, das war nix! Anscheinend konnte nicht verstanden werden, dass ich nebenan erst noch ein Bier trinke, ebenso, dass ich gerne Cocktailsoße auf beide Gerichte hätte. Dank der doch sofortigen Zubereitung waren sowohl HähnchenDönerteller (11€) und LammBox (9€) absolut kalt beim Essen, nach Grad einmal einer halben Stunde. Es gab zu beiden Gerichten keine Soße. Das Hähnchenfleisch hat trotzdem etwas geschmeckt, das hat den zweiten Stern gerettet. Das Lamm- (oder Kalb) Fleisch aus der Box ist leider undefinierbar. Geschmacklich neutral, Konsestenz trocken, Farbe fettig-grau. Sorry, da waren 20€ zu viel investiert. Dann lieber Pizza -Stücke bei Ditsch im Bahnhof. Leider einer der negativsten Döner-Läden, die ich kennengelernt habe. Vielleicht sollte man Personal einstellen, welches auch den Kunden versteht und ihn nicht vergrault

Döner war ganz oke, nur echt wenig Fleisch für 7€ (Kalb), das Fleisch sah auch so aus, als ob es schon viele Stunden dreht. Hab auf fetten Knorpel gebissen. Soße nicht sehr lecker. Das Lokal insgesamt bisschen reudig. Geht im Zweifel wo anders hin.

Gerade auf Durchreise noch schnell einen Döner bestellt, hat super geschmeckt, selten so einen leckeren Döner gegessen. Wenn ich mal wieder in München bin, komme ich erneut hierher! Zutaten lagen ebenfalls frisch in großer Menge.

Sehr guter Döner. Für nur 5€ ist er auf jeden Fall sehr günstig und Preiswert. Döner wurde auch zügig fertig gemacht.

Richtig lieber Verkäufer. Hat auf Wunsch unseren Döner in zwei geteilt. Jetzt sitz ich mit meiner Schwester im Zug und kann ihn leider nicht essen 😭 egal dann eben erst wenn wir draußen sind.

Super Döner am Bahnhof für €5. Das dürfte mittlerweile einer der günstigsten Döner in München sein, und besonders in dieser Lage. Das sandwich war ordentlich groß, die Fleischportion ordentlich und kross (von einem echten Dönerspieß mit Fleischlappen), das Gemüse frisch und saftig, dazu eine ordentliche Soße und nicht so ein Mayo-asiatische Chilisoßen-Quatsch. Kalbsdöner wird immerhin angeboten und kostet einen Euro mehr. Falafelsandwich €5. Außerdem gibt es Sitzgelegenheiten und ein ordentliches Klo. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, brachte den Döner an meinen Platz und fragte mich hinterher, wie es mir geschmeckt hätte (darauf lege ich persönlich großen Wert). Nebenan im Pesto gibt's Italienisches, hier hatte ich mal Pizza.

Pizza gab's nicht- Teig war aus. Haben dann 2 x Rindfleisch-Dürüm bestellt. Sie wollten uns aber nur einen mit Rindfleisch machen und haben darauf bestanden, dass wir den zweiten mit Hähnchen nehmen, obwohl Rindfleisch noch da war. Es hat trotzdem geschmeckt aber wir gehen da wohl nicht mehr hin.

Poor customer service: - label said water was €2, overcharged me for it even when I confronted him. - the guy was blunt and sort of ignorant to talk to Food: - was okay but not worth the price, old salad and very basic options, doner tasted fine but was probably at least an hour or two old. Overall just didn’t like the place, hence why I gave two stars otherwise I would have given it 3 stars.

Guter solider Döner, frisches Gemüse, Fleisch auch gut

Falafel-Döner bestellt und positiv überrascht worden. Frisch zubereitet. Soße zuerst im Brot verteilt, Falafel zerdrückt und dann den Rest befüllt. Perfekt! Bei jedem Biss Sauce und Falafel - so wie es sein soll. Gerne wieder. Preis stimmt auch.

Zu später Stunde noch einen Döner geholt. Ich denke es war 22 Uhr. Der Döner war lecker. Das Fleisch ist wahrscheinlich industriell gefertigt, denn ich habe nach dem Döner extrem viel Durst bekommen. Passiert mir aber öfter bei industriellen Lebensmitteln (hoher Salzgehalt?). Würde dort aber wieder einen Döner kaufen
