We ordered mini pizzas to go. Unfortunately, the cook—or the server—handled the ingredient bowls without gloves. That's absolutely unacceptable. The pizzas were cooked in no time and then carelessly placed on a paper plate and covered with aluminum foil. That was it. After a five-minute walk back to our vacation rental in winter, they were cold. We warmed them up in the oven. In conclusion: The taste and texture were okay. The question is: What are customers supposed to do without access to an oven? And why aren't the pizzas delivered in a proper pizza box?

After we had finished our meal and were quite satisfied, we wanted to pay. When the waiter asked if we needed a receipt and I declined, he entered an extra €20 into the card reader, in addition to the tip. My companion noticed this. I asked for a receipt, but they couldn't print one for me. I requested a refund for the overpayment, which was given immediately in cash. The whole situation seemed like a common, rehearsed tactic. Beware!!! This is a tourist trap. Simply outrageous! And make sure the bottle of mineral water you order is sealed when it's placed on the table. The water didn't taste very fizzy, almost stale. It's highly likely the contents didn't match the label.

I absolutely cannot recommend this place. Not only was my order forgotten, but they lied to my face and told me it would be coming soon. 15 minutes later, I gave up on my order. There was no apology or alternative, like a quick hot meal. They also didn't offer a reduction on the total bill. I think the pasta tastes like ready-made sauce. It's not worth it!!

Phew, so: Four of us went out to dinner and ordered three pasta dishes and a pizza. The pizza was apparently forgotten, which can happen, but wasn't communicated at all. Quite the opposite: We asked several times and were repeatedly told that it would be right away. They even pointed to a pizza that wasn't ours and told us it was ours. After the three people had finished their pasta and the pizza still wasn't there, we canceled the pizza and asked for the bill. What was a shame was that the service didn't make any effort, so they didn't bring any bread, dessert, or anything similar to while we waited. That ruined the whole meal, as well as the evening for us as a group. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, but quite cramped, so we sat table to table. I don't want to assume anything about the pasta, but all three people who ordered and ate it assumed it was ready-made sauce, or at least not homemade. A unique experience.

We ordered one salami pizza and one tiramisu to take out. The basic pizza was okay, but I found it very odd to put the cold salami slices on top of the pizza after it had been baked, as the pizza tasted like salami bread at times. The tiramisu was very watery. And charging €22.70 for it, with €0.30 of the change included as a tip, was reason enough for us not to order anything else!

This was truly a terrible performance!!! We've never had such a terrible meal at an Italian restaurant. This was the first Italian restaurant that managed to serve spaghetti with scampi with a completely tasteless finish. The three mini scampi were an absolute disgrace!!! We would have ordered mussels otherwise. We've never been served anything so horrible!! Disgusting. Completely tasteless. Everything was covered in sand. The bread was supposed to be fresh ciabatta according to the menu, but it was just a regular baguette, but three days old. In retrospect, we also realized why we were the only customers. An absolute disaster!!!

The outside is great, the inside is so-so. The ambiance is actually inviting. But the food—especially the pizzas—are a solid 6 considering the price. The male waitstaff seems listless and downright unfriendly. You'd have to be very hungry to go in voluntarily. This was definitely our first and last time here.

My partner and I wanted to have pizza that evening and decided on Pizzaria Da Vinci in Sankt Peter Ording. Since my partner is gluten intolerant, we asked if they offered gluten-free pizzas. They confirmed this, so we ordered our pizzas. The regular pizza arrived first, followed five minutes later by the gluten-free one. That wasn't pleasant. The regular pizza was baked very lightly and looked like a store-bought pizza, and tasted just the same. The gluten-free pizza was completely burnt around the edges and didn't taste particularly good. After my partner hadn't even eaten half of the pizza, she already felt an upset stomach. We assume it was probably gluten-free dough, because the pizzas looked different from the base, but that the dough was rolled out on the same plate as the regular pizzas and thus came into contact with wheat flour. Therefore, we won't be visiting this pizzeria again.

The pizza was delicious, nothing to complain about, but the salad and bruschetta were average. The main courses arrived 15 minutes late, which is just unacceptable. The prices are far too high for what's on offer. The staff were quite unmotivated. Perhaps order takeaway instead.

We went there specifically because it had vegan options. With a wide selection of non-vegan options compared to four vegan ones, only ending up with one was very disappointing. The vegan pizza tasted okay, but not really worth the price.

Then we got in the way of the staff, because the window was directly in front of the restaurant. It was stressful and confusing. Eventually, we were able to order, and after that, it moved pretty quickly. We then got our pizza, and like everything else in this place, it was above averagely expensive. The pizza was okay, but the toppings felt like they had put them on after it had come out of the oven. The base was very thin. It was very soggy towards the middle. Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience.

My girlfriend and our dog went there spontaneously to eat. She had tortellini and I had a salami pizza. We're not picky about her meal, but there were only 16 tortellini in a giant plate. It looked good, but it wasn't filling. The sauce, well, the North Sea sauce had more flavor. My pizza was beautifully prepared, with a thick brown crust, well-topped, and a delicious tomato sauce. But the base was so thin I couldn't eat it with a fork or my hand. It was a mass-produced affair. I assume everything is fresh, but it's made in advance. We were hungry after 20 minutes of eating. Update: Free with the meal, we got a stomachache.

This pizzeria takes an insane amount of time. If you're lucky, the food arrives in an hour. Even takeout takes an hour. The prices are outrageous. A Magerita pizza with onions to takeout costs €16!

Even though we didn't have a reservation, we got a very nice table for two. The staff was very friendly and quick. The food (pasta) was fantastic. So we came back two days later. And? Absolutely PERFECT! The restaurant was very busy. We received very friendly and courteous service. Our food was again excellent. And for a third time - spaghetti with clams and homemade pasta with grenades = a culinary poem! Mille Grazie. ✨

We received a warm welcome and were shown a table, even though it had already been marked as reserved. It was a bit confusing as to who was in charge of us. One waiter took our order, the next brought the drinks, the third the food, and the first settled the bill. But that didn't detract from the experience at all, as it seems they're a well-coordinated team ;-). The food was good. The ambiance was OK, but the many cars driving past the restaurant were a bit distracting. But that's not the restaurant's fault.

I don't understand how this restaurant can get such good reviews. The food and service are absolutely terrible. We had a fish platter and pasta with Gorgonzola sauce. The fish was completely overcooked and tasted almost stale. The pasta sauce tasted almost like nothing. When we pointed this out to the waiter, they simply ignored it. Maybe the pizza is okay, but I can only advise against the rest.

I can't say anything about the restaurant. But today around 12:00 PM, an employee (a young curly-haired man) was speeding through a busy forest playground on his electric bike at at least 25 km/h. The sandy ground would have made braking impossible, and he would have suffered serious injuries. Shame on him!

Delicious Italian food, authentic Italian service (which unfortunately forgot a few of our orders), and a lovely restaurant on the shopping street. Visiting with dogs was no problem either. The staff here is very efficient. Orders arrive promptly, and when you leave, the table doesn't stay empty for long.

It's a shame, because service and hospitality are important components of a successful restaurant visit, and that's exactly what was missing here. Fortunately, there are several Italian restaurants in Sankt Peter-Ording where warmth and hospitality are truly lived. We will therefore avoid Da Vinci in the future.

The staff were genuinely super friendly, all of whom spoke Italian. The atmosphere was fantastic, even so close to closing time. After we asked nicely, they spontaneously prepared us four delicious, large pizzas fresh for a great price. The pizzas were phenomenal, and the staff were all relaxed and friendly. We waited about 10 minutes for the food, and the pizzas all arrived at the same time. We only paid €88 for four large pizzas, three beers, and two Cokes. We'll be happy to come back whenever we're on vacation in this area of ​​SPO! Highly recommended!

Mmm, what can I say? You have to be very careful what you say these days. But a waiter should know a bit of German, or at least try to understand it. Garlic butter was ordered with the bread, and even after asking several times, all they got was, "Yeah, yeah, garlic butter," and then nothing else came, not even butter. My wife's carbonara was covered in fatty (raw) bacon. The sauce was a watery cream of something...no salt, no flavor. The pasta was very strange, indescribable. My pizza was almost OK, but unfortunately it smelled and tasted very strongly of fish...and was loud and warm. But see for yourself...or buy something nice for the money...because cheap is different.

We have been regular guests over the last few years and have celebrated four birthdays here. We were always served courteously and treated to culinary delights. Yesterday we were here for the first time this year after a long break. It was supposed to be a nice Italian evening for two on the occasion of a birthday. But unfortunately things turned out differently... A table reservation a few days in advance was rejected with the words "we no longer accept reservations for fewer than 8 people." That surprised us. When we arrived at the restaurant around 6 p.m., we were initially assigned a tiny table directly in the entrance area, which would have been too small as a dining table for one person. The remaining tables were unoccupied except for two! After some discussion, we were reluctantly given a larger table. We were immediately asked what kind of food and drinks we wanted without giving us the opportunity to study the menu, which was new to us. Also new for us: EC payment only from 50 €, credit card payment not possible at all. Requests for changes to the dishes are no longer possible. Here you eat what's on the table! We then ordered an aperitif, starter and main course. The aperitif was on the table after 2 minutes, the starter after 5 minutes. We hadn't finished the starter, let alone the aperitif, when the main course was already being served. A real fast food restaurant! Aperitif: This was the thinnest Aperol we were ever served. It was seltzer with a drop of Aperol. Antipasti: The meat from the vitello was tough, as was the carpaccio. Roast beef slices dry and with a 3 cm thick edge of fat, salmon tartare without taste. The rest was OK so far. Filetto di Manzo: The meat was really good, but the gorgonzola sauce contained everything - just no gorgonzola. Rosemary potatoes dry, floury and tasteless. Saltimbocca: Underground! Meat completely overcooked, dry and tough. The wine sauce was sour and, like the pasta, ice cold. The dish went back! After we complained to three different service staff, apart from unfriendly answers, NOTHING happened. By now the shop was packed and after about 15 minutes a young employee cleared our table and rudely asked what we wanted. There was no apology! We then said that we would not continue our meal and that a glass of wine on the house would probably be the least we could apologize for. There was actually ONE glass of Lambrusco - not two. In order not to ruin the birthday evening any further, we decided not to have any further discussions and left the inhospitable place as quickly as possible. This used to be a very good restaurant. Today it's just mass feeding and tourist rip-offs. What happened here? New owner with new business policy who wants to get rich by force? No idea - but definitely without us in the future!

Very good pizza and quite cozy. Only the music is a bit too loud. But all in all recommended and we would come again. One year is over and we are back in SPO for vacation. Of course I went to see Da Vinci again. All I can say is that we were very satisfied and I can absolutely recommend Da Vinci. We will come back 👌🏽

Sunny break with pizza and pasta in SPO We spontaneously went to the Ristorante Da Vinci in Sankt Peter-Ording in the afternoon and – as on previous visits – we were not disappointed. The food came quickly and was really delicious! We particularly liked the bruschetta, the carpaccio, the pizzas and the pasta - everything was freshly prepared and tasted great. Extra bread was also served. The only thing my daughter didn't really like was the carbonara and the sausage. Prices are at the expected level for this location near the beach and promenade. Sitting outside in the sun and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere was just perfect. The service was friendly and attentive. Our dog was at the table, which was no problem at all. We have already visited a few Italians, but if you want to spend a good time here with your family near the beach, you definitely can't go wrong.

If you value good food and friendly service you should stay away from this restaurant. We went there for dinner with the family and were more than disappointed. The service was pure mass processing, patience is clearly not a strength, when you said you were looking, you could still hear a clear eye roll and a snort. Ordered a drink in Zero, and unfortunately only got it with Zero carbonation. When asked, the answer was "yes, yes, Zero" Questions about the court were answered uncertainly/ignorantly. When the dishes were brought to the table, the answers to the previously asked questions turned out to be wrong. In terms of taste, every dish was absolutely not good. From dry turkey meat that was as thin as the coaster for the glass to watery asparagus. The Caesar salad on offer had nothing in common with a Caesar salad, so the balsamic cream decoration on the edge of the plate and the salad doesn't save anything. In this day and age, you have to manage to disappoint a child with a simple salami pizza. So for us who regularly eat in SPO, absolutely disappointing.
