Super lecker. War heute 2 mal dort. Freundlich und gemütlich. Essen war top. Habe seit langem nicht so lecker gegessen. Der Wein ist auch sehr lecker. Ich komme bald wieder

Sehr gutes Essen Top Service Gute Beratung, wir waren beim Wein unsicher, aber die Empfehlung war perfekt.

Wir hatten Spaghetti Vongole, die absolut hervorragend waren. Die Meeresfrüchte hatte der Inhaber persönlich in Brühe zubereitet. Die Portionen waren großzügig. Beim Erstellen der Rechnung unterlief ihnen ein Fehler; der Inhaber bemerkte ihn und kümmerte sich umgehend um die Korrektur. Sie waren sehr ehrlich, und es ist ein wirklich gutes Restaurant.

​„Ich habe heute um 13:36 Uhr dort angerufen, um mich nach Informationen zu erkundigen. Der Mitarbeiter am Telefon war extrem unhöflich, respektlos und hat einfach mitten im Gespräch aufgelegt. So ein unverschämter Umgang mit potenziellen Arbeitskräften oder Kunden geht gar nicht. Als Pizzeria, die Personal sucht, sollte man einen ganz anderen Ton pflegen. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen!“

Leider enttäuschend: Keine klare Information zu den Öffnungszeiten. Das alkoholfreie Radler mussten wir aus Sprite und alkoholfreiem Flaschenbier selbst mischen, trotzdem wurden beide Getränke berechnet. Für einen Latte Macchiato und das Getränk 11 € zu zahlen, ist aus unserer Sicht nicht gerechtfertigt.

Seien Sie in diesem Lokal vorsichtig. Angeblich kann man bei Rechnungen unter 20 € nur bar bezahlen, aber laut der Kellnerin, die mich bedient hat, steht das nirgends geschrieben und man wird auch nicht vorher darüber informiert. Außerdem habe ich eine Flasche Wasser bestellt und standardmäßig die größte und teuerste Flasche (7,90 €) bekommen.

Leider sehr schlechte Erfahrungen hier mit der Bedienung gemacht. Als Sonderwünsche geäußert wurden wurde mit Handbewegungen auf die Karte verwiesen. Es gibt nur was auf der Karte steht. Auch kleine Portionen für Kinder sucht man vergeblich und da sie nicht auf der Karte stehen gibt es die auch nicht. Sind dann unverrichteter Dinge gegangen.

Im Vorfeld möchte ich berichten das ich das Essen nicht bewerten kann da wir nicht bis zum Essen kamen deswegen habe ich eine Mittlere Bewertung gewählt. Wir waren mit 8 Personen zu Gast als bei der Aufnahme der Bestellung wir leider nicht den Service bekommen haben den wir für die Preisklasse erwartet haben. Meine Frau hatte eine Nachfrage zu einem Gericht ob man auch Pizza mit Spinat und Knoblauch haben kann als Antwort kam nur: ,,schauen sie in die Karte" zu vor hatte meine Schwester gefragt ob es für ihr Kleinkind möglich wäre Spagetti ohne Soße zu haben weil er es nun mal nur so Marg dies wurde verneint. Als Konsequenz haben wir uns Verabschiedet und sind gegangen.

Ich war mit meinem Sohn dort zum Abendessen. Als wir bestellen wollten und ich nach einer Portion Nudeln mit Tomatensauce für unseren kleinen Sohn gefragt habe, bekam ich die Antwort „wir haben nichts für Kinder“. Ich habe nochmal nachgefragt, aber da die Bedienung dabei blieb, sind wir dann gegangen. Aus meiner Sicht einfach unverständlich und frech. Kinder sind die Gäste der Zukunft!

Das Essen ist gut aber die Portionen etwas klein. Da passt für mich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht, besonders bei den Desserts.

Sehr schönes Restaurant Das Carpaccio für 14,90 Euro waren 5 Scheiben und wurde mit zwei lächerlich kleinen und alten Pizzabrötchen serviert. Das Bruschetta bestehend aus drei sehr kleinen Baguette Scheiben,für 7,90 Euro, war auch absolut geschmacklos.... Das Schnitzel für 19,90 Euro war eine Kinderportion und hatte höchstens 120 Gramm Fleisch! Absolut nicht zu empfehlen, außer man ist bereit für die grandiose Aussicht, sich zu Hause noch ein Essen zuzubereiten.

leckere Pizza, besonders die Vegetarische mit guten frischen Gemüse. Leider nicht schön, dass wir auch als Stanmgäste zum zweiten mal 0,50€ für eine einfache Papiertüte auf der Rechnung fanden weil wir eine halbe Pizza einpacken ließen. Die Pizza ist dort sowieso nicht billig und wenn ich sie zum Abholen bestelle kostet die Verpackung auch nicht extra.

Das Tiramisu von Lidl war geschmacklos und, genau wie der Wein, überteuert. Der Aperol Spritz war ebenfalls reduziert und kostete nur eine Mini-Portion. Die Bedienung war in Ordnung, reagierte aber nicht auf Beschwerden. Insgesamt würde ich das Restaurant nicht empfehlen. Der Blick über den Rhein war allerdings herrlich.

Leckeres Essen und Hausgemachtes Eis. Guter Service. Insbesondere die Überbackene Aubergine ist sehr empfehlenswert.

It was a rainy day, but the restaurant also had guests sitting outside. Two tables were occupied; one was being served, while the other, ours, was ignored. Dishes were left on the neighboring table, which were also overlooked. After 15 minutes without service, we got up and left. I can only say, "The customer threatened to order!"

Beautifully situated overlooking the Rhine. The service was friendly, but it was very busy, so we had to wait a long time to ask for something. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't very good, and the drinks turned out to be much more expensive than the menu suggested. The shrimp pasta dish was nothing more than spaghetti with oil and garlic and four shrimp. We expected more and won't be back.

The food was delicious. The selection is also extensive, with a few specials. The seating inside is too close to other tables...I don't feel comfortable there. The seating outside is nice, with a view of the Rhine.

Very unfriendly to children. No children's menu and no willingness to share portions or offer juice in smaller glasses, for example. Only 3 dishes on offer.

My meal was only lukewarm and the portion was much too small (perhaps suitable for a child's portion). The other pasta dishes were more than twice as large.

Well I have to say that the location of the restaurant is very nice but I didn't think the food was that great for the price. I had a schnitzel with mushroom sauce which was really nothing. The sauce was like water and tasted like Maggi. I also thought the food was presented in a poor way for the price. A colleague had a pizza which wasn't that special either but was better than the schnitzel.

The taste of the ice cream is debatable, but the service is less so. Unfriendly service (two different waitresses), the empty dishes weren't cleared away, the table was completely full, and I had to ask for payment several times. Not again.

We went to Madonnia for Tunisian food yesterday for the opening of Kuli Week! I had all the starters, and my wife had lamb shank with vegetable couscous and the super-delicious dessert! It was simply fantastic – the fish soup, in particular, was a dream! Highly recommended!

I ordered a regular Spinaci pizza... I was told it only came with shrimp... I ordered it without shrimp and was still charged the full price of €14.90. Absolutely outrageous

Beautiful location on the Rhine – but service and food are disappointing The Ristorante Madonnina is truly stunning – right on the Rhine, with a magnificent view of the water. The terrace is inviting, and the overall ambiance is pleasantly Mediterranean. Ideal for a leisurely afternoon or dinner with a view. That's exactly why we chose this restaurant. Unfortunately, the impression of the surroundings remained, as the service and cuisine weren't convincing. I had a lasagna that disappointed me in terms of taste: It was hot, but rather blandly seasoned, the texture rather soft and mushy, and you got the feeling that little love or freshness had gone into it. Solid, mass-produced food, nothing more. The service was particularly annoying: Although we were greeted warmly at the beginning, the attention quickly waned. I ordered a coffee, which was then simply forgotten – even though we were still sitting at the table for a long time. There was no follow-up, no apology, and no refill. In the end, I simply canceled the coffee. Overall, I got the impression that, due to the high volume of walk-in customers, the focus is primarily on speed and sales – and quality and hospitality unfortunately fall by the wayside. In conclusion: If you want to enjoy a beautiful view of the Rhine, you'll definitely find what you're looking for here. However, if you value good, lovingly prepared food and attentive service, you'll probably be disappointed. Unfortunately, it was only an average experience for us.

We visited spontaneously with a larger group. We had to wait a bit longer, but that was perfectly fine. The service was very friendly and quick.

War Samstagmittag gegen 13 Uhr mit dem Hund dort, nachdem wir vier Stunden in der Umgebung beim Wandern waren. Da es warm war, setzten wir uns draußen an einen Tisch. Es kam dann zeitnah die Bedienung, eine alte Frau mit dunklen Haaren und belehrte mich, dass ich den Hund unter den Tisch quetschen sollte, denn sie müßte da entlanglaufen und er würde sie dabei stören. Dabei waren die anderen Tische kaum besetzt!?! Daraufhin wählten der Hund und ich einen anderen Tisch weiter vorne, näher am Rheinufer. Sie brachte sodann die Karte, worauf ich ihr sagte, die bräuchte ich nicht, ich möchte die Waffeln (es stand ein großer Kreideaufsteller mit der Aufschrift „frische Waffeln“ vor den Tischen). Daraufhin wurde mir ziemlich unfreundlich mitgeteilt, Waffeln gäbe es erst ab 14 Uhr (es war fünf nach eins!). Warum stand dann das Schild schon dort? Der Hund und ich verließen daraufhin umgehend die Örtlichkeit und gingen ein Häuschen weiter zum Restaurant Vater Rhein. Dort war es für eine sehr freundliche Bedienung kein Problem, unsere Waffelbestellung aufzunehmen.

Incredibly good food. You had the feeling of being in Italy. Easily get a table without a reservation with a view of the Rhine. Small, manageable menu. We enjoyed it very much❤️. Anytime again❤️

We were informed three times that card payments were only possible from 10 euros. Waitress very unfriendly. No service mentality. Here you don't like investing in the customer (even if it's 10 cents) and would rather miss out on the business. We now always go next door to the Rheinischer Hof. Card payment (credit card also possible, nice waitress)

There was a sign that said they had fresh waffles so we sat down but unfortunately no waffles. Kindness costs nothing but too much for this lady. She snapped a little. The ice creams were delicious and a beautiful location.

Cozy restaurant right on the Rhine, visited when the weather is great. The first time 12 years ago, crazy! Very friendly service, delicious salad and the wine anyway! Been here again after a long time, delicious pasta dishes, delicious drinks! Everything is great!

Wir haben am Sonntagnachmittag das Ristorante besucht und 2mal Pizza Diavolo bestellt. Beim anschneiden stellten wir fest, dass sich bei jedem Biss der Belag vom Teig löste, er rutsche runter. Auf dem Teig unter dem Belag war keinerlei Käse der eine Haftung möglich machte. Nur auf der Pizzamitte war auf dem Belag eine kleine geschmolzene Käsestelle. Somit musste man Teig und Belag einzeln essen. Unsere Unzufriedenheit sagten wir beim anschließenden Zahlen der Bedienung.

Carpaccio and schnitzel with wine sauce were delicious! Best schnitzel I’ve had in recent memory. The restaurant itself is small, cozy and authentic with very friendly and personal service! Prices were also very reasonable, especially since the quality and service is so good.

Very tasty Italian restaurant with also a highly recommended Merlot. Beautiful view over the Rhine, especially in the summer when you can sit outside on the terrace. In any case, by Dutch standards, the prices are also very reasonable, pasta dishes for about €17.00

Service unfriendly! Indicates three times that card payments from 10 euros are possible. The food is just mediocre. For me, a store that offers no or only limited card payment these days is dubious. Here they are too stingy to invest 10 cents in the customer. That spoiled my stay and subsequently prevented me from visiting this store again.

The menu wasn't brought, unfriendly service, the entire order wasn't brought. However, all orders were later on the invoice, even those that were not delivered. There was no apology from the staff for the incorrect calculation. Sluggish service! I won't do that to myself there again.

Unfortunately not recommended for me personally. The food tasted very bland, with a lot of salt it was okay. For an Italian, I expect at least seasoning or fresh herbs in a classic lasagne! The wine spritzer only tasted like water. The service was totally lacking in friendliness. I had ordered a small side salad without onions, I mentioned it 3 times when ordering. He promptly came to the table with a lot of onions. When spoken to, the waiter took the salad plate away without comment and a colleague brought it back after 2 minutes. Unfortunately, in a few cases only onions were taken out, which is a shame and has nothing to do with customer service. The second complaint didn't come with an apology but rather just an annoyed look. I then canceled the salad completely. We will definitely not be coming back because for more than 100 euros we have eaten much better.

The service is quite good but the food is mediocre at best. The penne pasta al arrabbiata tasted the same as the spaghetti bolognese (bland tomato sauce). The location is pleasant being next to the Rhein. I wouldn’t recommend seeking out this restaurant but if you are in the neighborhood then it’s OK.

Ordered and received Pizza Rustika. After the first cut I realized that the dough wasn't cooked through. The waiter, very nice, took her back to the kitchen. After a few minutes a very unfriendly female creature came with the pizza and asked what I wanted. The pizza was already burnt on top. She snatched the plate away from me and said they were getting new good. After a while the new pizza came and again the same thing. Here you have to ask yourself where you ended up? They are blaming themselves as a pizzeria 🙈 Every kebab does this pizza better. The store has no idea how pizza is made. Never go there again.

Hiermit möchte ich meine extrem negative Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant teilen. Schon beim Betreten wurden wir von der unfreundlichen Bedienung und einem äußerst arroganten Administrator empfangen. Als unsere Getränke kamen, wurden sie uns regelrecht auf den Tisch geknallt, und das in teilweise beschädigten Gläsern. Als ob das nicht schon schlimm genug wäre, wurde ich tatsächlich beschuldigt, eines der Gläser selbst zerbrochen zu haben! Der Gipfel der Unverschämtheit war jedoch, als uns auf unsere Bitte hin, eine zusätzliche Teller zu bringen, schlicht und einfach verweigert wurde. Ein solch respektloses Verhalten ist mir noch nie begegnet. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen!

Sehr unhöflicher Kellner, gerissenes Bierglas , gebrochenes Weinkännchen, den zweiten Teller haben wir nicht gekriegt, weil das in der Speisekarte großgeschrieben ist! Also nicht mehr wieder!!!! 😜 Im Endeffekt wollten sie uns noch rausschmeißen!!! Frechheit!

This was the second time we did eat at La Madonnina, first on a Friday, now on a Monday evening when most of the other restaurants on the Rhine front are closed. Formula was the same on both nights. Bruschetta (lovely, but on deep fried bread) followed by some of the best pasta you can get plus some drinks. Friendliness of the service can be variable.

We used to like to go here or get something, but the quality and service have deteriorated significantly. Although we were disappointed the last two times, we gave the restaurant another chance and regretted it. The young waitress was ok, but the boss (?) didn't make you feel welcome (again), was impatient (otherwise there was only one table occupied), brought a small pizza instead of a normal pizza and claimed we would have ordered a small one. We would never do that and she started arguing even though I had just noticed, we don't let food go back. When a big one came that wasn't much bigger (more than just the edge of the plate was visible), it didn't matter anyway. The pizzas weren't really tasty, very dough very oily. We otherwise enjoyed eating the Gamberoni pizza (approx. 24 euros!) there, with two king prawns and 2 pieces of salmon fillet. This time there was salmon on it, but only shrimp from the package, different from what was described. The mushrooms also seemed pickled and not fresh. The pizza didn't have to be any bigger because you couldn't finish it anyway because of the oily, thick dough. Very unfortunate. Everything used to be better. If friendliness and quality improve again, we'll be happy to come back. But the food is still heavy in the stomach.

So sollte man es als Italienerin nun wirklich nicht machen. Vielleicht war das heute ja auch nur die mannigfaltig-schlechte Erziehung der Dame? Was geschah: Wir setzten uns zu fünft (4 Erwachsene + ein Baby + ein Kind) an einen Tisch, was der Kellnerin nicht so richtig gefiel. Ihr Gegreine: Wir würden ja einen anderen Tisch mit dem Kinderwagen blockieren. Dies kann man auch nett vortragen, aber nicht so rotzig-unverschämt! Danach wurden wir ignoriert - und wir sind gegangen. Und: 12 von 82 Bewertungen sind eine 5 oder 6? Hm. Dazu kommen gesalzene Preise. Eine Lasagne für 14,90 Euro? Und wohl nur Barzahlung? Finanzamt, ich hör Dir trappsen. Vielleicht sollte sich dort mal jemand umsehen, denn auch andere Restaurants bestehen auf Barzahlung mit einer Zwischenrechnung. Armes Deutschland anno 1985.

Once and never again. We were there and wanted to politely order a portion of fries for a five year old. “The chef doesn’t do that!” was the statement from the rather unfriendly waiter. There are fries on the menu, but we shouldn't have ordered a half portion. We were also very suspicious of the note on the menu that it was not allowed to share a pizza. We had already ordered drinks, but then immediately asked for the bill because that was really incredibly annoying. So we paid €18 for three cokes and a water and left. The service staff made no effort to keep us there.

Italian cuisine and pizza restaurant

We had ordered sea bream with vegetables and potatoes and specifically asked not to pour any fat over vegetables or fish. We got three mini sea bream fillets, vegetables and potato wedges floating in oil. Total inappropriate for the price of €26.90 and according to our request to use as little fat as possible. Service is not friendly. We definitely won't be coming back.

This resturant is small but mighty, a gem to find overlooking the Rhine river. Bookings essential. The food is absolutely 💯 and service great.
