We were traveling as a group and ended up at the Bella Vista. We received a very hospitable welcome, even without an appointment! The food was amazing: salads, bruschetta, pasta, and pizzas. Then we suddenly had a medical emergency, and the staff helped us immediately. I admire the young, wonderful girls for how hardworking and friendly they are in serving us here – TOP!

Sebastiano, Sofia, and Nicola are really good and kind. The portions were adequate, the prices were reasonable, the food was good. Their tiramisu is as good as in the mountain huts of the Dolomites, made daily and very fresh, so it's best to order/reserve portions when you reserve a table; to achieve perfection, ask for it to be made for healthy adults, with strong espresso 😉 Their liqueurs were a compliment-worthy finale. Limoncello, just like in Amalfi. Grappa has been a reserve for 15 years, guys, phenomenal, soft as a caress on the throat... burp, guaranteed. Lots of locals hang out here, not just tourists... all year round. You can also pay with a debit card. To park your car/bike/motorcycle... if you're lucky, go down "Biergasse"; there are a couple of parking lots there; the Rhine usually won't take it away. Don't drive down there with a truck. Super delicious food with fresh ingredients in a prime location right on the banks of the Rhine, fair prices, and the service and owner are also very accommodating. We ate there several times during our stay because it was so good. We would gladly go back anytime.

The one waitress spent almost the entire time I was there talking with a couple. Food was okay. Surprised they didn’t have freshly grated parmigiana cheese. I’ll give them another try to see how their pizza rates. Pasta was slightly overcooked.

Sitting here right on the Rhine, with a view of Ahrenfels Castle on the other side—it's breathtakingly beautiful. The weather was perfect, too. The waitress was quick and very friendly! The food loses a point because the menu said stuffed mushrooms, but unfortunately they were just chopped mushrooms in a Bolognese sauce. But it was still tasty.

Finally a good pizza again, with deliciously fresh ingredients, can't complain, will be back!!

We used to frequent Pizzeria Federico, but things have improved considerably in terms of quality and presentation. We visited the restaurant twice in the last two weeks and ordered one pizza to go. My husband received a free drink upon pickup while he waited for the pizzas, which were delicious in terms of toppings and dough—which should also be mentioned, as they tasted different before... We had a very unpleasant experience. After my singing concert, my husband and I wanted to end the evening in a special and quiet way. This restaurant seemed like a good option – but at the entrance, before we had even entered or placed an order, we were spoken to rudely. We were confronted in a rude and inappropriate manner for having tried another restaurant before – in front of other guests. Even though the restaurant was still open for almost an hour, we were told curtly and unkindly that they couldn't serve us. We left disappointed and with a very bad feeling – and didn't eat anything else that special evening. We cannot recommend this restaurant. Courtesy and hospitality should be a given.

We were here on Father's Day, and I had the Father's Day menu. Three beers and a Mafiosi pizza. It was delicious, the staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was beautiful and clean. The restrooms were also very clean. It's definitely worth a repeat visit.

Today we went for pizza with friends at Bella Vista, which reopened in April. Very friendly service, and not to mention the very, very good pizzas. All the pizzas were very well topped and tasted great. If we're ever in Bad Breisig again, there's no way we can miss this place. We were at Bella Vista on Saturday evening with eight people. Everyone was more than satisfied. Pasta, pizza, drinks, attentive service...everything was perfect. We were here with 4 adults and 2 kids on a Saturday evening and were able to sit on the terrace with a wonderful view of the Rhine, which had been prepared especially for us, even though it had rained heavily beforehand. Very tasty food (we had pizzas and a salad), great regional and seasonal offers, including drinks. Very friendly and humorous service, even for kids who got lollipops and we adults even got a regional fruit schnapps on the house. Very fair prices. We were completely satisfied and would come back at any time.

My wife had spaghetti aglio. Damn good homemade spaghetti dough. I enjoyed a mega delicious rocket pizza with lots of garlic. Great pizza dough. No unnecessary oil on the pizza. Any time. Very friendly service. Great location on the banks of the Rhine.

It will never be as beautiful as it always was. The friendly face of the boss in the kitchen is missing, who used to take them both into the kitchen when the children were small. The service team who always found a place for us. Where there was always something to talk about, where people always laughed loudly and ate very well. That was home, we keep you in our hearts.

We were in Bad Breisig over Easter and even visited the restaurant twice! Absolutely recommended! Food was a dream and the conditions were attentive and friendly and you could have a nice chat.

The cuisine is excellent: creative, fresh and prepared with great attention to detail. The service is outstanding – attentive, friendly and present, but never intrusive. You immediately notice: a fresh wind is blowing here! Investments are being made, improvements and modernizations are underway - air conditioning is already planned, and overall everything is being done to ensure that guests feel completely comfortable. A place to enjoy, relax and come back. Clear recommendation!

Despite the cold and rainy weather, the visit was overall a success!! Service is TOP! and the FOOD a true POEM!! Anyone who can cook “Tortellini Scampi” so well can probably do EVERYTHING in Italian cuisine! The owner was more than attentive and friendly! There!!!! :-)

The Gamberoni with spinach and cheese cream sauce were a disgrace for the price of €19. You had to look for the spinach, as well as the cheese and the sauce was watery. Plus 1.50 for the bread. The few guests on a Saturday evening speak for everything. It was now my second attempt after taking over a tenant, but also my last. Federico was in his pizzeria for 50 years, unfortunately only the name remained. My companion's pizza was small and hard. One would have thought it was a ready-made pizza. Too bad...

Unfortunately I can't recommend the food either! They used ready-made dough that was way too thick and the pizza was totally greasy! Paying €15 for that is really a disaster!

No, I can't recommend it. After We waited about 40 minutes to order (2 people) Pizza nothing special, the lasagne (homemade) like from the supermarket. Service: I asked how long should I wait. The lady became unfriendly. Never again. Thanks

We went out on a Saturday evening in Bad Breisig and all terraces were booked. Pizzeria Frederico had a table inside. It turned out to be a good choice. Very decent pizzas plus a nice spaghetti carbonara and a bottle of white wine made this a nice evening. Friendly service.

Unfortunately, all you can say about this restaurant is - never again! The location on the Rhine is very nice, but cannot hide the miserable offerings. Neither the portion sizes nor the quality of the food match the very high prices. After a long wait for our food, we were finally confronted with a service employee whose behavior towards us could only be interpreted as "children are not welcome here" (mind you, the rest of the staff were very friendly and professional, which definitely deserves mention here should). Unfortunately a real failure and no claim to recommendation!

Pizza like it came from the freezer. Not recommendable. Goodbye forever.

3 scoops of ice cream, a tiramisu and coffee for €18 is quite demanding... Especially since the liquid from espresso, Marsala or Amaretto wasn't really noticeable in the tiramisu. The ice cream wasn't that great either... A pity

Pizza looks and tastes like a finished product (at least the dough does). Fresh ingredients were placed on top but they didn't rip it out either. The pasta was a little better, the bruschetta was okay. Great service, friendly and on point. Unfortunately, the food didn't convince us and we wouldn't go there again despite the cool location.

We each had a pizza and can't recommend them at all. In our opinion, the dough is a finished product, I have never seen and eaten such bad dough in a pizzeria. Then the ingredients on the pizza were burnt and the boss tried to talk his way out of it. This food was horrible. And today At a time when everything has become so expensive anyway, delivering such bad food is really the last thing. We'll never eat there again

I don't know where the negative opinions come from. We had a delicious meal and the service was very friendly and accommodating. Like most of the reviewers, I can't say whether the food is "original Italian", but I can say that it tastes very good. If the food is different than at your Italian restaurant around the corner, it may be because this restaurant places emphasis on not selling everything, but on a unique selling point. In any case, we enjoyed it very much and we would like to come back. Thanks to the team

Auf der Suche nach etwas essbarem haben wir uns gedacht, mit einer Pizzeria kann man nix verkehrt machen. Leider war dem nicht so. Dass es preislich etwas teurer ist, darüber kann man in einem Kurort und dazu direkt am Rheinufer noch hinwegsehen. Über die Fruchtfliegen, die die ganze Zeit im Innenbereich um unsere Köpfe gesummt sind, leider nicht. Der Service war freundlich und schnell. Leider hat die Pizza bei uns beiden zu Sodbrennen geführt, was wir sonst so nie haben. Der Pizzateig hat total hefig geschmeckt und vom Aussehen eher den Eindruck eines industriell gefertigten Teigrohlings gemacht, so symmetrisch und identisch haben unsere beiden Pizzaböden ausgesehen. Leider kann ich die vielen sehr guten Rezensionen bzgl. des Essens hier nicht teilen.

Zufällig hier gelandet und positiv überrascht. Das Essen super lecker. Die Bedienung erstklassig. Dazu herrliches Wetter im Biergarten. Wir kommen wieder...

Ich war vor kurzem das erste Mal dort .Eine super nette Dame hat mich auf italienisch begrüßt und hatte einen guten Service mit sehr viel Freundlichkeit gemacht . Der Chef , ein super netter mann hat mir eine klassische Pizza gemacht. Ich habe mich sehr willkommen gefühlt . Das Flair , wie beim Familien Besuch in Sizilien.. allerdings finde ich die Ambiente nicht typisch klassisch italienisch. Das ist etwas schade, dass hätte das ganze sehr unterstrichen . Questa settimana sono venuto la prima volta . Il capo Federico è Tanto gentile e verdiente bravo a fare pizza . Anche la donna dell Service con un occhiali era tanto gentile . Lei Parla anche italiano ,allora tanto Facile per italiani. Persone tanto gentile , Pizza buona , Mi piaciuto tanto . Solo il Ambiente nn è tipico italiano

Das Essen war lecker , der Service gut . Die Preise etwas hoch aber das liegt wohl an der Lage des Ladens direkt am Rhein . Trotzdem stimmte die Qualität und gerne wieder .

Ich komme seit über 40 Jahren (also seitdem ich laufen kann) zu Federico. Es gibt keinen besseren Italiener. Ich war durch ein paar sehr negative Berichte geschockt und hatte ein wenig Bauchweh. Alles Quatsch! Der Service ist genau so gut wie immer, das Restaurant ist hell und freundlich eingerichtet aber das Wichtigste ist: das Essen ist nach wie vor der absolute Hammer! Das neue Team hat alles sehr gut im Griff und wie ich hörte ist Federico ab und zu ja auch noch da. Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch.

Wir waren schon oft dort und früher sehr zufrieden. Die Preise sind wirklich extrem gestiegen und die Qualität nicht wie gewohnt. Schade.
