Ristorante Lucchese in Ankum

We had an all-around wonderful visit to the Lucchese restaurant in Ankum. We particularly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere – the restaurant isn't too big, is tastefully decorated, and therefore very inviting. The small, fine menu impresses with a very good selection and excellent quality food. A small personal note: For my taste, the wine selection could be a bit larger, and mussels on the menu would be a great addition. But that doesn't change our absolutely positive overall impression – we'd love to come back!

We always enjoy coming back. The friendly staff, excellent food, and pleasant ambiance make for a romantic evening. That's what an Italian should be like. Thank you.

A visit to this small Italian restaurant was definitely worth it. The food was consistently delicious – freshly prepared, well-seasoned, and authentic. The drinks selection, while limited, was well-chosen. We particularly liked the ambiance – cozy and stylishly furnished inside, with a lovely terrace outside that invites you to linger. The service was a slight disappointment: While prompt, it was a bit unfriendly and overbearing. A more cordial approach would have significantly improved the overall impression.

The pizza was very good. Unfortunately, the service was not good. Except for the first order, we had to ask the waitress for service every time; she never once actively asked if we wanted anything else. We had to pay at the counter because she stopped coming to the table toward the end.

We recently drove through Ankum and asked if there was a good restaurant in town. Your place was recommended to us. Unfortunately, we only have to give it one star because of the review here. We ordered two coffees, which had no coffee flavor. Then came the pizza tonno (tuna, onions, and mozzarella, it says on the menu). The pizza was supposed to be small and sliced. After a 30-minute wait, we were served a large pizza without mozzarella and not sliced. Onions, tuna, and cheese were all misplaced in the middle; I could almost have written "given up." The boss didn't even greet us and acted like he was Pedro. The dark-haired employee said you ate the pizza and you'd be charged for a large one. No comment on the cutting issue, and the coffee was left on the table and sadly left. Overall, 1 out of 5. People who rated the place as tasty and very satisfied are probably villagers who don't know other restaurants and don't get around much. This place is a no-go for us.

On May 11th I invited my family to the Lucchese restaurant in Ankum for Mother's Day. From the greeting to the billing, the service was beyond outstanding. The staff is extremely friendly, well-groomed, euphoric, courteous and asks about the guests' well-being at very appropriate intervals, which gives a very professional impression. The drink service was very quick and we didn't have to wait long for the food either. All dishes were of the highest quality and each plate was carefully prepared. After the main course, we were kindly informed that there were also various desserts and a large selection of coffee specialties. The friendly waitress explained to us exactly what was behind each dessert, which made the decision very easy. We no longer asked ourselves whether we wanted to order dessert, but rather which dessert. In summary, we were all very enthusiastic and would love to come back. I can highly recommend paying a visit to the Lucchese restaurant.

That evening I had tagliatelle with seafood. I love seafood. But giving them taste is not easy. After all, they hardly bring any taste with them. But the chef just did everything right. My noodles were perfect. The best seafood I've ever eaten! And although plenty of oil was used, there were no unpleasant surprises even at a late hour 😉. For me, this is another sign that only very good quality ingredients are used. The service was also excellent. Courteous, friendly, attentive but not intrusive. Overall it was a very nice evening at Lucchese. I'm looking forward to next time. 🫶

It was my first time at Lucchese. We were all given a very friendly welcome. A table was reserved. The order was placed quickly and the food came very quickly. I had Tagliatelle con Panna e Proschiutto (Tagliatelle noodles in ham and cream sauce). It tasted super delicious. Kudos to the excellent chef. I'll definitely come back.

That must have been the infamous combination of Lower Saxon and Italian hospitality! I asked for a table for myself and was told there were no free tables, even though the restaurant was only half full. Anyway... as a solo business traveler, I can only say it wasn't worth the trip. It's a shame, arrogance probably won't win you any customers in a difficult market. Conclusion: just stay away!

I haven't experienced a restaurant as great as Lucchese in a long time! It was a special evening and I have to say: everything is just right here. We chose the rump steak and it was absolutely incomparable. Tender, perfectly fried and of a quality that is truly rare to find. Every bite was a pleasure and it was clear that only the best ingredients were used here. The ambience of the restaurant is also really appealing – modern and cozy at the same time. It's a nice place to sit back, relax and enjoy the food. But what really stands out is the service: so accommodating, attentive and friendly. You can tell that the employees know their craft and are passionate about it. We don't eat out often, but Lucchese is worth every penny. It's more than just a restaurant - it's an experience. The selection of dishes is diverse and offers something for every taste. The dessert was also an absolute highlight! Anyone who eats here will not be disappointed. Overall, I highly recommend Lucchese. I would come back again and again for the food alone, but the service and the ambience make the visit very special.

Everything is at the highest level! From the freshest products! The pizza is delicious! We ordered pike perch and it just melted in your mouth! Every tourist who wants to taste real Italy while in Germany should go here...

Great service. I ordered two pizzas and an appetizer over the phone today and was kindly given priority because a large order came after me. The food was ready in 10 minutes and really fresh. Delicious and recommended.

Food was otherwise okay, prices had risen extremely and when the owner insulted my mother and wanted to drive her out of a public parking lot in front of the savings bank, when she gave my niece the bottle and when Asi insulted because he probably needed a parking space, that's the crowning glory on.

It's not for nothing that this restaurant is packed even in the middle of the week. Be sure to make a reservation, even though the friendly staff make a lot possible. Careful and authentic cuisine that stands out positively from the many "I'll-get-me-a-quick-pizza-restaurants" in Germany.

A hotspot for many travelers, especially in summer. I've been there twice now. Disappointed every time. The service absolutely cannot keep up with the high-priced food. The head waitress on the last visit was very direct, almost reproachful, asking why we didn't eat faster to clear the table and made several comments that felt very condescending. The ambience is very nice so far. One less table inside wouldn't be a bad idea so that you have some space when sitting. I won't come back.

Nicht zu empfehlen! Das Carpaccio war lecker und gut angemacht. Die Pizza hingegen konnte nicht mithalten. Der Boden war zäh und auch der Messerwechsel konnte nichts ändern. Soweit so gut. Kommt vor. Mich aber von Chef beschimpfen zu lassen, weil ich mich negativ über die Pizza geäußert habe geht gar nicht. Der ist mich als Gast angegangen und war äußerst herablassend. Eine Vollkatastrophe. Wer als Gast wahrgenommen werden will ist hier fehl am Platze. Zweimal heute dort: zum ersten und zum letzten mal. Nicht zu empfehlen!

Kurz gesagt: Der Lucchese kann was! Auch der diesjährige Besuch war wieder zur vollsten Zufriedenheit. Es hat geschmeckt, es sah gut aus, es war bezahlbar, wir sind satt geworden!

Essen war wunderbar und die saisonalen Angebote sind top. Wir saßen bei heißen Wetter abends draußen welches für sich schön war. Aber leider stört dort der Verkehr ein bisschen.

Wir haben sehr lecker auf der gemütlichen Terrasse gegessen.

Waren auf Empfehlung das 1. Mal da. Wir haben auf das Essen ewig gewartet - Vorspeise kam nach 1 Stunde - Hauptgericht war nach weiterer Stunde immer noch nicht da. Wir sind hungrig gegangen - sehr schade

Dieses Restaurant ist ohne Einschränkung weiter zu empfehlen. Im Schatten des Artländer Doms bereitet der Inhaber Stefano seinen Gästen Anja, Vorrang des Ambiente und erstklassiges essen. Wir freu mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Wir waren gestern Abend, dass erste Mal in dem Restaurant. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt, diese Herzlichkeit zog sich durch den ganzen Abend. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet! LG an das Team

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 5 reserviert. Man hatte uns für draußen geplant (bei 16 Grad) - auf unsere Bitte, wir würden lieber drinnen sitzen, wurden wir von der Chefin überaus unfreundlich beschimpft „sie hätte uns draußen geplant, das Wetter sei gut und sie könne auf Sonderwünsche nicht eingehen, sei so schon anstrengend genug“ drehte sich um und ging. Der dann hinzukommende Chef ebenso unfreundlich - es gäbe Decken und wir könnten ja wohl draußen sitzen. Lichtblick war das Essen. Bei der Bezahlung - getrennt - bekamen wir vom Chef die Rechnung mit Stift und Block, wir könnten das sicher selber ausrechnen, er käme dann wieder. Fazit: wir (5) wurden noch nie so herablassend behandelt - nie wieder!!!

Die Chefin ist wirklich sehr nett. Ansonsten leider nicht zu empfehlen. Das Essen war mittelmäßig und der Kellner ziemlich arrogant. Ich war auf Empfehlung dort und wurde ziemlich enttäuscht. Nichts desto trotz wünsche ich alles Gute.

We waren slechts op doorreis en bij toeval hier terecht gekomen. Dat was een gelukje want het is daar prima eten en drinken. Vriendelijke bediening met humor, daar hou ik nou van. Een aanrader!

Wir konnten spontan um 8 noch draußen sitzen, die Bedienung war sehr nett. Die Burratapizza war sehr lecker! Wir kommen wieder! :-)

Heute waren wir zum ersten Mal im Restaurant und wir werden sicher öfter dorthin gehen. Wir sind total freundlich begrüßt worden und haben lecker Pizza gegessen. Auch die Lage, mitten im Dorfkern, ist klasse.

Sehr schöne Location. Ich würde sagen für eine Gruppe bis 5 Personen geeignet. Tische meistens auf paare ausgelegt. Das Essen hat allen geschmeckt und war mit rd. 30 Eur pro Person mit 2 Gläsern Bier 🍺 im vertretbaren Bereich.

Sehr schönes Ambiente - und sehr gutes Essen. Waren in dieser Woche in Ankum und haben hier ganz hervorragend gegessen. Nudeln, pizza & Salat waren alle sehr gut und von guter Qualität! Auch der Service klappte ausgesprochen gut…

Wir sind sehr spontan vorbei gekommen, weil wir auf der Durchreise waren. Trotz voller Reservierungen wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. Mit dem Hinweis, dass wir nur 50min Zeit hätten, weil er danach bereits anderweitig vergeben war, haben wir Platz genommen. Die Pizza war schnell ausgewählt und in knapp 10min serviert. Wahnsinn! Sie schmeckte super klasse. Gerne wieder.

Herzliche Begrüssung vom Chef und Mitarbeitern. Die Tomatensuppe schmeckte sehr frisch und wurde mit warmen Weißbrot serviert. Die Bruschetta war mit frischen Kräutern und gutem Olivenöl abgeschmeckt. Die „ Pizza alla Nando „ hatte einen dünnen sehr krossen Boden und war reichlich belegt mit Spinat, Burrata, Pancetta und Cherrytomaten. Sehr, sehr lecker. Kommen gerne wieder. Grüsse aus Graz

Über einen Bekannten Empfehlung erhalten und können das Lokal bestens weiterempfehlen. Hier werden sehr leckere Pizzen und Speisen in einem gut abgestimmten Ambiente gereicht. Wer nur eine billo Pizzabude sucht ist hier falsch und sollte dann lieber eine Dönerbude aufsuchen. Von unserem Platz aus hatten wir einen kleinen Einblick in einen Teil der Küche und konnten einen engagierten Küchenchef beim Anrichten der verschiedenen Gerichte beobachten. Abgerundet durch nette und freundliche Bedienung war unser Aufenthalt ein Highlight des Tages. Einziger Wermutstropfen war der von Zeit zur Zeit aus der Küche kommende leichte Geruch von Reinigungmittel der wohl aus der Spülmaschine beim jeweiligen Öffnen entwich. Freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Wir waren dort zu einem Wohnmobil-Dinner. Direkt vor dem Restaurant konnten wir parken mit einigen anderen Wohnmobilisten. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen, der Service war ausgezeichnet und alle waren sehr freundlich. Die Speisen wurden direkt in's WOMO gebracht. Alles lecker und gut portioniert. Wir kommen zum nächsten WOMO-Dinner auf jeden Fall wieder. Danke für den tollen Service.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen einer Wandergruppe zum Abendessen im Ristorante Lucchese. Wir wurden freundlich vom Personal und Chef empfangen und bedient. Alle hatten unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt und fanden diese (Pizza, Nudelgerichte und Filet) sehr lecker. Die gehobenen Preise für frisches und leckeres Essen sind vertretbar. Bei einem erneuten Besuch würden wir wieder einkehren. Fünf Sterne👍

Eine schöne Location, aufmerksames und freundliches Personal, ein super netter Chef der durch seine Art die Gäste begeistert, gepflegte Getränke und eine hervorragende Küche. Wir sehen uns bald wieder und holen den Grappa ab!

Positiv: Auch bei Hitze schattiger durch Pflanzen abgegrenzter Außenbereich. Wirklich guter Espresso. Negativ: Service schien überfordert, Wartezeit bis zur Bestellung, Vorspeisensalat kam mit Hauptgericht, Warten auf Menage, da alles kaum gewürzt und die Trüffelpasta zudem pappig und schließlich fast kalt war. Erbetener Parmesan kam spät und wurde danach als Entschuldigung nicht in Rechnung gestellt(?). Fazit: Eher höherpreisiges Restaurant, das dem Anspruch qualitativ nicht gerecht wird. Die kumpelhaft-grenzüberschreitende Ansprache des Chefs („Jetzt ist Schluss mit Handy-Spielen, jetzt wird gegessen“, und das nach schlechtem Timing) wirkt zumindest beim 1. Besuch dort befremdlich.

Locale fatiscente.... Personale (proprietari) maleducati,spocchiosi, ignoranti potrei continuare ad ore. Ristorante italiano con cibo molto deludente. Vino che sa di aceto... Vabbe esperienza negativa. Sbagliando si impara.

Wir haben einen tollen Abend im Restaurant Lucchese verbracht. Von der Vorspeise über das Hauptgericht bis zum Dessert waren wir durchweg begeistert. Auch der Hauswein ist sehr zu empfehlen. Tutto buono! Hinzu kam dann noch ein super Service durch Luca, der diesen noch mit einen kleinen Sprachkurs erweitert hat. So war es nicht verwunderlich, dass wir als eine der letzten Gäste das Restaurant verlassen haben. Grazie e alla prossima!!

Lieblingsitaliener Ein herausragendes Restaurant in jeglicher Hinsicht. Sowohl die Vorspeisen als auch Hauptgerichte sowie die Desserts waren perfekt. Die Steaks hatten eine super Qualität und waren auf den Punkt gebraten. Pizzen kann man vermutlich in ganz Deutschland nicht besser essen, perfekter Boden, hochwertige Zutaten bei den Belägen und geschmacklich ein Genuss. Das Personal im Service war sehr zuvorkommend ,sodass man sich als Gast jederzeit sehr wohl gefühlt hat. Der Koch hat sich persönlich bei den Gästen über deren Zufriedenheit erkundigt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt definitiv. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Restaurant nur jeden empfehlen.
