Wir waren zu dritt in Hildesheim aufgrund von Schnuppertagen an der HAWK und sind auf dieses nicht wirklich aufregend wirkende Restaurant gestoßen. Aber ich lüge nicht, wenn ich sage, das waren die besten Carbonara und Pizzen, die ich je gesehen und probiert habe. Und wäre das nicht schon genug Luxus, wird einem noch, wenn man von der Dessertkarte bestellt, die Crème brûlée am Tisch flambiert. Also solltet ihr euch in Hildesheim aufhalten, egal ob ihr dort wohnt oder nur vorübergehend seid, geht dorthin!

Ein kulinarisches Erlebnis. Unsere Eltern haben uns dahin gebracht nachdem sie selbst mehrfach da gegessen haben und mehr als begeistert sind. Das Lokal ist sehr liebevoll dekoriert und sehr gemütlich. Wir waren spontan da und konnten einen Tisch für 4 glücklicherweise noch bekommen. Die Portionen sind großzügig und mehr als ausreichend und geschmacklich ein absoluter Traum. Wenn wir mal wieder in der Nähe sind, kommen wir gerne wieder. Von Zuhause ist es zwar ein Stückchen weiter, aber das ist es wirklich Wert ! Danke für das tolle Essen, den super Service und dieses Erlebnis, das wir als Familie hatten.

2 Punkte Abzug, da wir auf einen übersichtlich angeordneten Vorspeisenteller eine 3/4 Std. gewarten mussten. Zur Nachfrage waren der Service kaum zu sehen bzw. so schnell wieder weg. Es wurde bei der Bestellung nicht gefragt, ob jemand aus der Gruppe sein Essen zeitgleich mit der Vorspeise haben möchte. Geschmacklich war das Bestellte von allen sehr gut. Die Portionen erscheinen eher klein, jedoch für uns reichte es völlig, da es für die lange Wartezeit recht spät wurde. Wir empfehlen auf jeden Fall zu reservieren.

Das essen ist super lecker und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr sehr freundlich. Ich kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen. Und ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten besuch.

Wer mal wieder richtig gut italienisch essen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Man wird herzlich empfangen und das Essen ist einfach fantastisch. Uns wurde das Restaurant per KI empfohlen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Macht weiter so 👏🏼😊🍀

Wir waren von der Arbeit aus hier essen und insgesamt hat es uns gut gefallen. Wir hatten Pizza und Nudelgerichte, die Pizza war wirklich sehr gut, die Vorspeisenplatte übersichtlich, aber sehr lecker. Die Nudelgerichte waren geschmacklich gut, die Nudeln für meinen Geschmack etwas zu weich, das ist am Ende aber Geschmackssache. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist schön und eher gehoben, mit weißen Tischdecken und Kerzen, insgesamt wirkt alles sehr gepflegt und sauber, auch wenn es für meinen Geschmack etwas steif ist. Preislich etwas über dem, was man in Hildesheim oft kennt, insgesamt aber definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Heute Abend zum ersten Mal da gewesen, war sehr lecker das Essen. Sehr freundlich Bedienung bei Fragen immer ein offenes Ohr. War nicht das letzte Mal. 👍

Die Kellner sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es ist von der Beleuchtung auch sehr angenehm und nicht so hell. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und sind vollkommen begeistert!

Super süße entspannte Räumlichkeiten. Die Kellner waren sehr kompetent und verstehen ihr Handwerk. Kein Abräumen obwohl die anderen am Tisch noch nicht fertig sind. Geübte Handgriffe, so wünsche ich mir das überall. Und jetzt zum Essen, wow also wirklich wow. Ich hatte das Kalb mit selbstgemachten Spaghetti in Gorgonzola Soße. Wow einfach nur wow Immer wieder gerne

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Bedienung, Gouvanni ist Gastronom mit Haut und Haar und versucht immer alles möglich zu machen!!! Wir fühlen uns hier sehr, sehr wohl und das Essen...SPITZE !!! Super lecker die Pizza ist einfach nur Weltklasse

A truly beautiful little restaurant. Very personal and unobtrusive service. The food was absolutely fantastic. We had vitello tonnato, penne with gorgonzola, and salmon fillet from the daily specials. Everything was truly excellent. The sign outside says, "Come as a guest and leave as a friend," and that's exactly what we did. Our new favorite spot in Hildesheim!

I went there for my birthday. We ordered the set menu. The food was delicious. The waiter was very polite. They even accommodated special requests. It was simply a lovely evening.

Far too expensive for what you get. I ordered a mixed appetizer platter, which at €17 was more expensive than some main courses. I wasn't expecting much, but what was on the plate was ridiculously small. I looked at it with a start and couldn't believe my eyes: one slice of fried zucchini, three slices of carrot, one slice of mozzarella with a slice of tomato on top, each paper-thin (as it should be), not even half a palm-sized slice of cassaccio and vitello tonnato, and a slice of white bread with bruschetta of roughly the same size. Either lower the price or put significantly more on the plate! I get much more for my money at other good restaurants. To be fair, the dish did taste good. The drinks are also quite expensive.

Very hospitable and accommodating, the food was very good and the owner personally greeted and bid farewell to his guests.

We've rarely experienced such friendly and attentive service! The waiter was really nice to us. We'd love to come back :) And a big compliment to the kitchen! The pizza calzone was the best I've ever had, and it had real mozzarella in it! The blackcurrant spritzer was also exceptionally good! Highly recommended!

A clear 5 stars by Hildesheim standards. Lovely ambiance, good service, decent food of a good but not excellent standard, slightly elevated but reasonable prices. Always busy. That's how it should be...

We were here for the first time today and were absolutely thrilled. We chose the set menu and only managed 6 of the 8 courses – and we're already really good eaters. But the portions were so generous that we had to cut back. But each course was varied and incredibly delicious. And they catered to all our requests and even exceeded them. The service was fantastic: always attentive, courteous, and every member of staff, including the chef Giovanni, was incredibly nice. We'll definitely be back!

At Giovanni's, summer is like being in Italy! Top service, great food :)

What could have been a pleasant evening out with the family ended in ruins. A downpour hit, food and drinks literally spilled into the water, and we were completely soaked. We grabbed the pizzas and quickly ate them standing inside. No compensation whatsoever. No new food or drinks were offered. And then the slogan: "You come as a guest and leave as a friend." This action was truly unheard of. I hope it was a mistake in the chaos... there's still a lot to learn in this place!

A mini meat dish at a maxi price. For 30 euros, I expected a bit more than a small, flat piece of rump steak well done (instead of the medium I ordered), along with three small potatoes and a tablespoon of "vegetables" (overcooked/fried beyond recognition). The noise level in the restaurant made it almost impossible to have a relaxed meal or a conversation. The service was friendly and at times a little overambitious.

Small nice Italuan restaurant with a proper 'al dente' pasta (unfortunately, in Germany it is often completely ruined and limpy - the Italian chefs are crying in the corner, subdued to overboil it). The menu is small and traditional, i wouldnt call it extremely uniqe, but it is solid. The vines are smooth and elegant. And the biggest star is the owner - warm, hearty, emitional, extremely nice and passionate. The design is modern and elegant, good for a date, evening out or a business affair. Highly recommended

My absolute favorite restaurant for years. I went back today after a while, as I no longer live in Hildesheim. I brought my family along and took advantage of my time in Hildesheim to visit. It definitely didn't disappoint: as always, great food, very friendly service, and it always feels a bit like coming home. Everyone was very satisfied!

Very tasty food cooked with love. Friendly staff and super friendly, warm owner. We had reserved a table for 3 and unfortunately had to wait 15 minutes until a table was available (the restaurant is small and doesn't have much space). However, we were provided with free drinks and as an apology there was even a dessert on the house. That's what I call real service! 💜 The food is high quality, but the portions are quite small and therefore expensive. My ravioli with mushrooms and porcini mushrooms were very tasty, but unfortunately I hardly tasted any of the porcini mushrooms because the ricotta dominated. That's why only 4 stars. But overall, definitely a recommendation! 🙂

We went there for dinner yesterday with a couple of friends who had a reservation. We were warmly greeted with a handshake, the table was beautifully prepared👍 the waiters were there for all our wishes, so we had 3 great starters, super tasty😋 4 different main courses 3 x pasta 1 x pizza. I was the only one who wasn't completely satisfied because my carbonara was only offered in the German version with cream. That's a shame, I think the kitchen is excellent, so the freshly grated Parmesan had to save it a bit. Panna Cotta made me happy again afterwards 🥰 and the Italian hospitality from the boss impressed us all. We will come back👍

Fine Italian-Sicilian restaurant where we not only ate excellent food, but also received very good and friendly service. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, there were no long waiting times. We had the 6-course menu and it was worth the (not excessive) price. All in all: A restaurant that we can definitely recommend and that we will visit again! Compliments to the cuisine and service!

We were there for the first time. The welcome was very warm and everyone was very friendly. Changing the individual dishes when ordering was also no problem. For example, we got a main course for two people as a starter. The other two got a fantastic tomato soup. The nice and friendly manner of the service staff rounded off a lovely evening in the “Ristorante Passion”.🥰

It was our first time at the Passion...we hadn't reserved a table, but we still got a table thanks to the very nice service...super friendly service and a perfect meal...perfectly coordinated and simply fantastically delicious 😋 we will definitely come back.

First of all, the food was great! Unfortunately the service wasn't that great. At first it was said that you couldn't just order an appetizer, but that was okay. (Sometimes there are reasons why this is enough as a meal). Then there were different prices. Out in the box, on the internet and on the map! I asked in advance what the price was. It said the one on the map. €2 more was deducted and after consultation, I got the price on the card. Other tables were asked about satisfaction, whether the food tasted good, etc. In our case, not even, even though people walked along the table. For me that's part of it! Maybe we just didn't order enough and that's why nothing was asked!

We had a great time here! The staff was very friendly and really made the experience more fun. The food was good and plenty. It was quite busy but even with that it wasn’t super noisy and we could carry a conversation just fine! The only downside was that it was really warm inside even though it was winter. But after we mentioned it to the servers they were really helpful and opened the door for fresh air. Definitely would recommend.

A wonderful place to be pampered on all levels. Service is very important here and is really lived by the employees. Extremely friendly and accommodating and not intrusive at all, but attentive to the point. The ambience is absolutely appropriate, very tastefully decorated and cozy, but at the same time very modern and stylish. The highlight of our stay was eating. Such perfectly prepared dishes, seasoned and seasoned to perfection, portions that are not too large, a real treat for all the senses! We'd love to come back. For us the visit was very spontaneous and we were still able to get a cozy place to spend an unforgettable evening for two! THANKS!!!

Great restaurant! A must for anyone who comes to Hildesheim spontaneously or planned. Very tasty and diverse range of Italian specialties. The service and the boss are incredibly friendly, polite and fast! The ambience simply makes you feel comfortable. You can hear pleasant Italian music, loud conversations from guests and your own conversations. It's just a nice restaurant feeling. I will always enjoy eating there and recommend it to everyone else! Small improvement idea: the prices can really be increased! Everyone is so friendly and open and the boss even got two ice creams for two children who didn't get any. So as already written: feel free to increase the pinch, it's far too underpriced for these great dishes! Thanks to all the waiters and the boss! We went there spontaneously and had a very good meal. The staff was extremely accommodating, with daily recommendations and friendly manners. You could tell that people enjoy working there. We'll definitely be back.

Ambience and service was ok. Every now and then drinks were forgotten to be served. I had a beef fillet in red wine sauce. I immediately had the feeling that the sauce was sour. I actually threw up at home once. It could be that it came from somewhere else, but I felt a bit unwell after eating it. Had Vitello Tonato as a starter. But everyone was super nice. Maybe something like that just happens. But I would give the store a second chance.

A nice restaurant with very good food and courteous staff...when the bosses welcome you with their hand at the door, you already know. The boss mixes with his guests and talks and takes care of things and the head waiter is "La Bomba", he serves and entertains the guests with a rarely experienced passion🤌🏻Great. Whether pizza or steaks etc., everything tastes really good. The Calzone pizza is the best I've ever eaten🤤 and this version is only available there. I can only recommend the restaurant. If you stay overnight in Hildesheim, you have to eat here. Just don't forget to make a reservation, because the restaurant is constantly fully booked for a reason. Cheers 🙂

If you haven't eaten here yet, you've really missed something. Small restaurant with so much family flair. The service was simply amazing. We celebrated my girlfriend's birthday. The team even sang us a birthday serenade. The food was super tasty. You may have to dig a little deeper into your pocket per head, but you will be rewarded with great food and great service. Reservation is a must. The table reservation is limited in time, but we didn't feel under time pressure and were able to enjoy everything in peace, from the starter to the main course and dessert. Keep it up.

Restaurant with an Italian theme. We had pizza, lasagna and tomato soup for starters. Everything was super delicious. The pizzas were almost first class and the tomato soup was a ten point according to my wife. We drank beer and red wine. The service was very good. The waiter made the evening for the boys. 🇩🇪🍻🍕🇮🇹
