BARZZANO in Hildesheim

The food and service here are very good. My husband and I often share the Pizza Barzzano, as it's simply too big for one person. The ambiance is great and pleasant, but a bit too dark for me. We enjoy coming here and hope that Barzzano will stay with us for a long time.

Ich hätte das Restaurant sehr gerne weiter empfohlen. Leider musste ich jedoch schlechte Erfahrungen erleben, obwohl mir versprochen wurde, dass das Problem geklärt wird. Wir waren zu zweit da haben lecker gegessen sowie ein paar Cocktails getrunken. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich allerdings schon fast über freundlich. Als wir am Ende die Rechnung verlangten, waren wir bei einem Betrag von 115 €. Ich sagte dem Kellner dass er 120 € machen soll, was er auch in seinem Gerät eintippt. Ich legte meine Karte darauf, aber es funktioniert nicht. Plötzlich stellte er fest, dass er einen Fehler im Gerät gemacht hatte, und schien diesen zu korrigieren. Leider hat er bei der Korrektur auch den Betrag auf 160 € abgeändert. Ohne zu schauen, und mit Gutmütigkeit legte ich wieder meine Karte darauf. Diesmal hat das Gerät die Karte angenommen unter Betrag wurde abgebucht. Dass es 160 € waren. bemerkte ich erst am nächsten Tag. Ich ging ins Restaurant um den Fehler zu klären. Mir wurde Verständnis aufgebracht und gesagt dass es keine Absicht gewesen wäre. Ich bekomme das Geld zurück überwiesen. Doch bis heute wurde mir das Geld nicht erstattet. Keine Reaktion auf E-Mails an die Geschäftsleitung. Keine Rückmeldung. Mittlerweile sind 7 Monate vergangen.

Sehr geehrtes Barzzano Team, Gestern zum Valentinstag wollte ich mit meiner liebsten in einem gehobenem Lokal einen schönen Abend verbringen. Dazu hatte ich ihr Restaurant ausgesucht, jedoch wurde ich mehr als enttäuscht. Wir hatten auf 18:30 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert und waren auch pünktlich da. Schon mit betreten des Lokals stellten wir fest, wie überfüllt es war. Wir wurden zur Garderobe geschickt, jedoch war weder ein Bügel noch Platz für unsere Jacke vorhanden. Nachdem wir dann eine gewisse Zeit warten mussten, wurde uns ein Tisch hinter der Anmeldung mit zwei Sesseln zugewiesen. Wir fühlten uns wie am Katzentisch. Nach der Bestellung warteten wir freudig auf unser Essen, auf das wir lange warten mussten. Nach zwei Nachfragen, auf die wir nie eine Antwort bekommen haben, kam nach 1 Stunde und 50 Minuten das Essen. Meine liebste, hatte mir schon gesagt, wenn es um 20:30 Uhr nicht da ist, möchte sie nach Hause. Auch auf die Getränke haben wir 25 Minuten gewartet. Da permanent weitere Gäste in das Lokal strömten und gelegentlich auch in der Tür standen, war es mehr als kalt und ungemütlich. Nach dem Essen abräumen wurde mir dann ein Behälter mit drei Kartoffeln und einem Esslöffel Gemüse gebracht, den ich nie bestellt hatte. Auch zum bezahlen mussten wir zweimal bitten und letztlich bin ich aufgestanden, bis endlich wer zum abkassieren kam. Zusammenfassend war es in ihrem Restaurant ein total misslungener Abend, der eigentlich besonders werden sollte. Das Essen war okay, aber der Service und das völlig über buchte Lokal war völlig daneben und nicht ok. Ich schreibe Ihnen dies, um Ihnen mal ein Spiegel vor Augen zu halten und ich bin gespannt auf Ihre Reaktion. Ich bin im Landkreis Hildesheim was anderes gewohnt und möchte das auch nicht so hinnehmen. Es grüßt Sie ein mehr als enttäuschter Gast Leider habe ich nicht mal eine Antwort auf meine Mail an das Restaurant bekommen…sehr enttäuschend und traurig

Sehr schönes Ambiente! Auch die Pizza war sehr gut! Der Service war zuvorkommend und nett, die Kellnerin hätte nur gern ab und zu vorbeikommen können, so dass man noch etwas zu trinken bestellen könnte. Da saßen wir doch auf dem Trockenen...

Das Essen und der Service waren wirklich sehr gut, nur leider war der Raum anscheinend garnicht beheizt und es zog unendlich. Wir haben sehr gefroren und hatten eiskalte Hände. Ich würde im Winter nicht nochmal hingehen.

Das Essen war super, die Cocktails wirklich gut, aber die Preise von den Vorspeisen waren etwas happig 10,90€ für eine Suppe vorweg hmmm.. . Das Personal ist wirklich freundlich und der Chef war auch sehr nett, leider waren die Kellner aber nicht festen Plätzen zugewiesen, was dafür gesorgt hat das circa alle 5 bis 10 Minuten jemand kam und gefragt hat ob alles ok ist, als mein Getränk leer war wurde ich weitere dreimal gefragt ob ich etwas neues haben möchte, wobei ich schon etwas neues bestellt hatte.

Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert und waren pünktlich da. Nach einer kurzen Wartezeit haben wir auch unsere Plätze bekommen. Auf das Essen haben wir knapp 2 Stunden warten müssen. Es kam erst auf mehrere Nachfragen. Als es kam, war es leider nicht mehr warm. Als Wiedergutmachung, haben wir zumindest eine freie Getränkerunde angeboten bekommen. Kompliment zumindest für so viel Aufmerksamkeit. Ansonsten war es sehr voll und hektisch. Das Personal war offensichtlich komplett überfordert. Es wurde quer durch den Raum gerufen, zwischen den Stühlen beinah gerannt, wobei so manch ein Gast auch angerempelt wurde. Und das am Valentinstag… Knapp 100 € war dieses Erlebnis auf keinen Fall wert gewesen. Aber vielleicht ist es an gewöhnlichen Tagen auch besser. 

Restaurant war komplett voll, nur 1 Koch da und deshalb > 90 Minuten gewartet. Die Portionen waren klein und das Essen war kalt. Der Service war sehr bemüht, aber es war zu wenig Personal da. Viele Leute standen und warteten auf einen Tisch, deshalb war die Tür häufig auf, und es war sehr kalt. Der Chef hätte nicht so viele Tische (Valentinstag) vergeben dürfen. Alle Gäste waren enttäuscht, Mitarbeiter frustriert. An „normalen“ Tagen ist es dort aber schön und Essen und Getränke sind hochwertig und sehr gut.

Wir kommen hier öfters, allerdings worden wir jetzt am Valentinstag richtig enttäuscht. Der Empfang, wo wir reingekommen sind, war ziemlich unfreundlich, da hat man schon gemerkt, dass viel los ist und die Mitarbeiter im Stress waren.. Die Kellnerin war wie immer sehr freundlich und auch sehr hilfsbereit. Leider war das auch nur der einzige Lichtblick am Abend. Die Vorspeise haben wir relativ schnell bekommen nach circa einer halbe Stunde aber dann haben wir 2 Stunden auf dem Hauptgang warten müssen. Der war dann leider auch noch kalt. Alle Gäste um uns herum haben auch super lange warten müssen aufs Essen. Haben sogar auch keine Kartoffel Drillinge bekommen, stattdessen ungefragt Pommes. Zusammengefasst finden wir es sehr schade, dass es so abgelaufen ist, aber auch wenn die Speisekarte eingeschränkt war, waren alle total überfordert mit der Situation, dass das restaurant so voll war. Was zusätzlich auch noch war, war das ist relativ kalt war und gefühlt die Heizung nicht richtig funktioniert hat.

Restaurant review We visited this restaurant and ordered two pizzas. In terms of taste, they were above average and far from the standard kebab shop standard - really a positive surprise! However, the service was not entirely convincing. We asked for water without ice but still got some with ice. When we pointed this out, we were simply told that the colleague had forgotten it - although the ice could have simply been removed. The ambience, however, was very appealing: modern and stylish. However, there was a problem with the sinks, which apparently hadn't been working for a long time. They were completely dry, indicating that they were not recently out of service. Another annoyance were the extremely blunt knives. Cutting the pizza was a real challenge, so we were only able to eat half of it in the restaurant. We took the rest with us to enjoy at home with better cutlery. Overall, a place with great food and a nice ambience, but there are clear weaknesses in the service and facilities.

I've been there several times. The food has been delicious every time. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The decor is very stylish, as is the preparation of the dishes and drinks. Highly recommended!

The shop itself is really nice. The food is excellent. But the way the staff is treated is completely unacceptable. No payment, etc.

Incredibly good! The two of us just ate there. We each had three courses. And every single one was a dream for the taste buds! Very good value for money. I'd even say it was too cheap for the service and quality. The restrooms were also super clean late in the evening. You'll definitely see me, my friends, and my company more often, even though I live an hour away! Thanks and see you next time!

Wir waren das erste mal am am Silvesterabend im Barzzano. Das Essen war qualitativ sehr gut, das Ambiente ebenfalls und das Personal freundlich. Das Restaurant war an diesem Abend sehr gut besucht und der Inhaber hatte dennoch die Möglichkeit eröffnet, a la carte zu essen, so dass es immer wieder einmal zu kleinen Verzögerungen kam. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich persönlich, wie professionell, lösungsorientiert und freundlich der Umgang des Inhabers mit unseren Hinweisen zur Wartezeit und der Menge des Essens war. Das sucht seinesgleichen in der Gastronomie und zeigt eine besondere Kundenorientierung. Danke dafür, wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

We can definitely recommend the restaurant. It's super cozy and the food was delicious. We had pizza, pasta, salad and the antipasti platter. The service was warm and courteous. I was asked several times whether everything was OK. Gladly again:-).

A friend and I went there for the first time yesterday and would have loved to stay there for hours! The decor, the ambience, just beautiful. You feel extremely comfortable. The music selection and volume were perfect. The food was simply a 10/10. We have never eaten such good carpaccio, and the main course and the drinks were simply great. We come from Hameln but will definitely make the journey more often to spend time there. At the end we even got a limoncello for free, such a great service. Absolute recommendation!!

Nice inventory but a total disaster when it comes to serving food and service. Service sometimes runs around with 3m fingernails because the thumb touched my pasta with the nail!!!! Hair is also worn open. I think you know the guidelines that something like this is unacceptable in gastronomy! Hygiene is key and the Barzzano couldn't prove that to us. The first and last time!

Barzzano is a very chic restaurant and tastes delicious. I would like to thank the whole Barzzano team for the great service and the wonderful food. The restaurant also looks very classy and is an eye-catcher. I recommend anyone who wants to have a delicious and fancy meal to come here👍😊

We were at Barzzano on Hindenburgplatz on Tuesday. Although the store was extremely full, I have rarely been treated like this in my life. The food is A1 from starter to dessert it was simply amazing. You can argue about prices. Unfortunately, quality always costs more. Service was super friendly and definitely professional. Ambiance is awesome

We became aware of the restaurant because of the gourmet block. The ambience was great, the pasta dishes were good but unfortunately my daughter's pizza was completely burnt from the bottom, so we gave more than 3/4 of it back. There was a brief apology but that was it. Unfortunately, my 6-year-old child left the restaurant hungry even though we ordered a full portion for her. And everything was calculated normally. Very embarrassing in my opinion! We were the only guests at that time. I can now well imagine why that was the case. We won't come back.

The food is good, but there is no air in the restaurant and there are a lot of flies. Massacre. You would expect much more from a restaurant like this. Recently we even had to wait 30 minutes to find out that the waiter had forgotten our dessert, what was most interesting was that there weren't many guests there

Great atmosphere, friendly service, high prices, questionable portion sizes. The price of around €15 for Antipasto Misto is impossible. It's embarrassing what is presented for so much money. And some bread with it costs €4.50 extra. It tasted good.

Perfect food and outstanding service! We had our wedding lunch at this wonderful restaurant and it was just perfect! The food was incredibly tasty and plentiful, every course a real treat. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the food, which was prepared with great attention to detail. The service was also excellent - the staff were not only extremely friendly, but also attentive and accommodating. What is particularly worth mentioning is that the team responded flexibly to each of our special requests (vegan dish, allergies and intolerances). For us it was a completely successful experience that made this special day even more unforgettable. We can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone – hospitality is very important here.

Completely exaggerated location. The drink prices are beyond justified. 0.2 Cola (bottle) 4.90 but the 0.4 Cola (not on the menu) but 5 euros. A waiter who is overwhelmed with 6 drinks and needs 10 minutes for it. The pizzas came in a good size, unfortunately completely without any taste. Neither the dough was at least slightly salted, nor was there any seasoning (oregano is the standard seasoning, at least the question asked about it) on the pizza. It can't be that you have to order aioli additionally to get a bit of flavor from the dish. Once and never again.

Food was not great, the Tomato soup was toooo sweet. No waiter came to ask if we needed anything. We has to go in and ask for Black pepper. Service not good and waiter was a Newcomer for sure since couldn't answer anything related to Dishes in Menu. Atmosphere was good nevertheless, so overall 3 Stars.

It was my first time there with a friend and I was pleasantly surprised. A super nice waiter who also tried very hard to find out what I could eat with my lactose intolerance. The food was very good. The atmosphere is very cozy. The toilets are very modern and exceptionally good. I just have one suggestion, the music is very loud. Otherwise keep it up! I'll definitely come back. 🙂🙂🙂

Der Service war grottenschlecht. Wir mussten nach dem das Essen gebracht worden ist 2x dem Kellner sagen das wir Besteck benötigen. Trotzdem wurde es nicht gebracht. Ich musste selber aufstehen und mir Besteck holen. Die Getränke wurden ohne Untersetzer auf dem Tisch gestellt, der ganze Tisch war nass (wir hatten auch auf einen 4-Tisch 7 Getränke) Bei der Bezahlung wurde während des Gespräches das Telefon angenommen und wir mussten 5 min warten, bis der Kellner uns die Rechnung ausgedruckt wurde. Und die Preise sind extrem dafür das man eine kinderportion bekommt. Man muss zu dem sagen bis auf den Namen ist nichts italienisch. Wirklich im Großen und ganzen sehr schlecht und nie wieder.

Wir waren an einem Nachmittag im Barzanno und sind total enttäuscht. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste, das Servicepersonal war noch nicht vor Ort. Wir wurden von einer „Aushilfe“ bedient, die keinerlei Kenntnisse über die Produkte oder geschweige denn Wein und Getränke hatte. Die Küchenangestellten kamen zu der Zeit „16:30“ erst alle zur Arbeit. Es gab keine Musik oder „Ambiente“. Man fühlte sich 0 willkommen im Barzanno. Unserer Meinung war es ein totaler Reinfall. Auf keinem Fall weiterzuempfehlen.

We discovered this restaurant by accident when we were desperate for pasta at 10pm. What a stroke of luck! The dishes were not only delicious, but also exceptionally prepared. The dishes and interior design were simply beautiful and added to the great atmosphere. The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The conversation with the chef was particularly impressive, as he immediately showed his passion for the kitchen. You can tell that people put their heart and soul into the work here. An all-round successful evening – we will definitely be back!

The restaurant is really very stylish. There is a lot of love here and you can see it straight away. The terrace is beautiful. The service is also top. Many greetings to our friendly waiter who only had his fourth day. Good selection of wines. Here is our kind criticism: Unfortunately, the food didn't convince us. The price-performance ratio is not right. Pasta overcooked! Sauce without taste! Medium quality meat. We definitely need to work on this. Best regards

Very pretty location. I had a pizza capricciosa. Hugely large and hugely delicious. Can I definitely recommend.

Yesterday at the game between Germany and Denmark we had to wait 20 minutes until we were served. Then 30 minutes went by and we still didn't get our three drinks, which was one reason why we left. Of course it is full and you have to have a little patience but not for three simple drinks….

Yay, this chef knows histamine intolerance!! We had almost given up going out to eat in Hildesheim when, by a lucky coincidence, we ended up at Barzzano. We were treated to delicious, low-histamine food and were magically looked after. Thank you again :))

The Barzzano on Hindenburgplatz, what a wonderful place to relax and eat well. We were greeted very nicely and shown to a table where we could sink into comfortable sofas. The service was very polite and friendly and the food we ordered came quickly and was lovingly garnished. The bowls were delicious and the price-performance ratio was right. We were not overlooked even after our meal and were occasionally asked about our wishes. The music was by no means too loud, but could have been turned down at our request. With kind regards to the whole team, it was a lovely evening!

The very expensive food and drinks are probably intended to justify the elegant furnishings. The food is okay, but in my opinion way too expensive. The pizza was okay, but not worth €20 to me. A small cola for just under €5 is also very steep. If I go out for a fine meal, then I'm willing to pay more, but the quality is more in the middle range. One evening when I was there the music was turned up excessively loud. If you want to go to a club or a bar, then this is definitely suitable. But there are also people who want to talk and understand each other. This concept will not be able to prevail for long...

In principle good, unfortunately you have to pay separately for the parmesan (mini portion) for a pasta dish at €2.90.

The finest pizzas, nice salad, good pasta to take away. All in all, very, very good food.

The decoration of the restaurant is very exquisite, the lighting is high-end, snacks are given after ordering, and the tableware for eating noodles is changed. The seafood noodles I ordered scored 4.3 points.

Indescribably good, we ate there with the whole family. The food was excellent, the whole barzzano team was super friendly. We felt at home! Always my pleasure !

Es war wieder mal ein richtig schöner Abend im Barzzano. Die bestellten Getränke kamen schnell. Unser Essen war sehr lecker, und kam zum Glück auch recht schnell, da wir alle ziemlich hungrig waren. Vorab gab es wieder diese herrlichen Pizzabrotsticks mit Dip. Die erleichtern einem gut die Wartezeit. Obwohl im Barzzano alle Tische belegt waren, war die Lautstärke diesmal so, dass man sich gut unterhalten konnte. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

I enjoyed an unforgettable experience at Ristorante Barzzano in Hildesheim. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service friendly and the Agnus pizza delicious. A perfect choice for dinner or meeting with friends. Five stars!

Sehr lecker sehr freundlich gerne kommen wir wieder

Valentine's menu was pretty bland considering it is the day of love. The menu for €65 per person was thrust into my eye on the grounds that nothing else was served. Wrong, other guests could also order other dishes. Apparently menus had to be sold quickly. The quality and taste were okay, but for the quantity and price, never again.

Valentine's Day...? Never something like that again!!! Just bad... and too expensive for what it offers

The ambience is good, but getting a menu like this on Valentine's Day is unacceptable in our opinion. Price performance is not right here.

Sehr coole Location. Tolle Atmosphäre. Stylisch und trotzdem gemütlich.

Very nicely decorated. The bar is particularly eye-catching. The toilets are also a special eye-catcher. The environment is also taken into account here. There are no paper towels. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the sometimes very loud music (at 7:00 p.m.) which made it difficult to have a conversation.

Super lecker, super nettes Personal. Alles schick und bequem. Preise sind angemessen. Meiner Meinung nach könnten die Tische weiter voneinander entfernt sein. Man konnte die Gespräche der anderen schon sehr gut verfolgen.

Das Essen sowie der Service sind hervorragend. Man wird freundlich an der Tür empfangen und zum Tisch begleitet. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist ausreichend und für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Die Getränke sind sehr lecker und geschmackvoll angerichtet( Lillet wild berry). Ein sehr gutes Restaurant schon fast gehobenes Restaurant in Mitte von Hildesheim. Wir werden sicherlich erneut kommen.

Not recommended, we were eating here today with friends and our food was brought to us way too late. Plus, it looks nice from outside, but we personally didn't like the food.

Ein sehr besonders Restaurant, das allen Wünschen gerecht wird!!! Ambiente, Essen, Service, alles richtig toll und ein besonderes Highlight war das Servieren des Dessert!!! Einfach toll!!! Vielen Dank!!!!!
