Ristorante La Taverna in Eckernförde

A restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, and the service was very friendly and attentive. For a starter (shared between the two of us), we had the bruschetta variation: one tomato, one prosciutto with arugula, and one spicy salami, all lightly topped with cheese on delicious bread. It was very tasty. For our main courses, we had Pizza Parma and Pizza Giardino; the pizza chef knows his craft! We will definitely come back when we are in Eckernförde again! Reservations are highly recommended (by phone) on weekends; on Saturday evening, when we were there, all the tables were occupied.

Nice location and very attentive, friendly staff who also accommodate special requests. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back and will recommend you to others.

The best Italian restaurant in Eckernförde for exactly five years now! Super authentic, the chef makes the pizzas himself, with lots of love and talent. I've never had such good pizza anywhere else. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant :)

The pizza was very tasty, and the lasagna was also delicious. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and it's a great place to eat and spend the evening. The service was also very good. We're happy to tip. We'll definitely be back!

We specifically called ahead and asked if we needed a reservation. They told us on the phone that it wasn't necessary, we should just show up, as there was space outside. When we got there, we couldn't get a table. The waitress wasn't very helpful either, suggesting that two smaller tables could be combined. We went somewhere else.

The food was delicious. However, the KiBa had two large ice cubes in it, which meant that, with luck, half the glass was filled with drink, and the rest was just ice cubes. When asked, they said this was normal.

The food and service were top-notch. The ambiance would have been pleasant, too. The only thing that was annoying were the children running around. The staff were also annoyed. But they didn't intervene.

A small, cozy restaurant in the pedestrian zone with a few tables outside. The bruschetta is something different, and the vitello tonnato is plentiful and good. The service is friendly and fast. It's worth stopping by. We've been back again. The bread and garlic butter only have a little garlic. The pizza is plentiful and good. To finish, we had a Ramazzotti on the house.

The service is very good, as is the food. However, the furniture is very dated. A complete renovation would be more than necessary. The price is reasonable.

Visited today. The pasta in the lasagna wasn't cooked through. They charged 50 cents to wrap up the rest of the pizza, something I've never experienced before.

We ate there once during our vacation, and since we enjoyed it so much, we picked up a pizza there another evening. We had a salad, a pizza Fattoria, and tagliatelle salmone. The salad was a bit bland, but we were able to rectify this with the salt and pepper provided. The tagliatelle was very tasty, one of the best I've ever eaten. The pizza Fattoria was well-cooked, but there were a bit too many onions on it for our taste (which isn't a big problem, though). The service was also very friendly and asked several times if everything was okay. The salami and parma pizzas we ordered for pickup were very tasty. One small point for improvement: A small pizza is only €1 cheaper; if you're not very hungry, you'll pay a relatively high price here.

Disaster! After ordering drinks, they simply forgot about me! I asked for some bread with my meal – and they forgot! The Aperol Spritz was good. But eating like this is no fun! FAIL!

Mycket populär restaurang. Vi fick vänta på plats. Vi började med en oerhört god carpaccio, str så vi delade den. Därefter blev det spagetti Puttanesca för mig och en mycket fin biff med tillbehör. Till detta serverades ett gott vin från Puglia. Rekommenderas varmt!

Jättebra krog, du bör boka. Vi åt en carpaccio till förrätt, som tur var delade vi på den. Till huvudrätt blev det en pasta Puttanesca, kunde varit lite mer kryddad. Min man tog en grillad biff med vitlökssmör. Jättemör! Till denna serverades också en fantastisk sallad.

Yesterday we ate a pizza with our dwarf at la Taverna and it was by far one of the best pizzas I've eaten to date! Really nice, classic Italian. The dough was baked really crispy right down to the top and the pizza was really good and filling. In addition, the pizza was really big and I could barely manage it as a tall adult man! The service was very friendly and attentive and all in all it was really great!!! It's a shame that it's too far away for us to come more often, but when we're in the corner we'll definitely come back!❤️

Wir hatten für drei Personen einen Tisch reserviert. Die Platzverhältnisse sind so, dass die Gäste am Nachbartisch bis in die Eingangstür hineinrutschen mussten, damit man an unserem Tisch Platz nehmen konnte. Als Getränk hatten wir Mineralwasser und einen Merlot. Der Wein hatte gute 25 °C und war kaum genießbar. Ungewöhnlich war, dass sämtliche Gäste, die mit uns das Lokal betreten haben, lange vor uns ihr Essen bekamen. Als dann auch noch eine Gruppe aus ca. 15 Leuten, welche nach uns ins Restaurant kamen bereits ihr Essen bekamen, sagte man uns, dass unser Essen leider an einem falschen Tisch serviert wurde. Das klang etwas merkwürdig, die müssten ja das Gleiche bestellt haben wie wir aber sei es drum. Unser Essen würde nun schnell zubereitet. Eine weitere halbe Stunde später hatten die Gäste, die mit uns das Restaurant betraten bereits gegessen, bezahlt und waren gegangen. Wir fragten nochmals nach unserem Essen. Nach Rücksprache, wahrscheinlich mit der Küche, sollte dieses jetzt ganz schnell kommen. Leider war dem nicht so. 1,5 Stunden nach unserer Bestellung haben wir dann unsere Getränke bezahlt und das Restaurant gewechselt. Seitens der Servicekräfte gab es weder eine Entschuldigung noch ein Entgegenkommen jedweder Art. Wo Menschen arbeiten, können Fehler passieren. Es kommt darauf an, wie man sich nach dem Fehler verhält und das war hier einfach unterirdisch. Im Nachhinein hätten der Tisch, der Wein und Bedienungen in Jogginghosen uns genug Warnung sein müssen aber man hofft ja immer das Beste…

We discovered it by chance and got a seat. You should make a reservation! Good selection of food and drinks. Fresh and delicious. Friendly, attentive service. Not only the Georgio salad with salmon is a dream. We'll be back....

Sehr wahrscheinlich handelt es sich hier um eine Touristenfalle. Natürlich macht es die sehr zentrale Lage sehr einfach neue Leute anzuziehen und anzusprechen. Wahrscheinlich gibt es wenig Stammgäste und Wiederholungstäter. Der Gastraum war sehr laut - es gibt eigentlich nichts, was geräuschmindernd und schalldämpfend wirkt. Der Service ist sehr flott. Schnell sind die Getränke da - ist klar, bringt ja auch Umsatz. Das Essen - ich hatte überbackene Penne - hat nach gar nichts geschmeckt. Die Penne waren verkocht und total labberig. Keine Ahnung, was der Koch da gemacht hat… Das lärmenden Publikum hat dann sein übriges getan.

We were here for dinner last night before the Eckernförder Oktoberfest and both the food and our service were great. There was a nightcap on the house with the bill, it couldn't be better!

I was there three times in the first week of September. Very quick and friendly service even during busy times. Both pizza, pasta and salad are fresh and delicious.

I was a loyal customer at this restaurant for years. But now the food is usually no better than ready-made food. The carbonara and pasta with strips of rump steak were absolutely not edible and the lasagna wasn't good either. I thought I was at an Italian restaurant It doesn't seem like something freshly prepared by an Italian chef. It's a shame La Taverna, you were really good back then...

The taste was good, very oily but tasty. Unfortunately I can't explain what went wrong with my pizza (see picture). I picked them up in the car myself so it couldn't have happened during transport. Anyone who puts such careless toppings on a pizza should rethink their job.

The food is that of an average pizzeria. There was carpaccio first, followed by pizza mare and pizza frutti di mare. The portions were a good size. We found the pizzas a bit too bland. The rooms are getting quite old. The staff was friendly and attentive.

The tomato salad is a disaster. Simply halve tomatoes (not ripe), add a little olive oil and you're done. I returned it. The pizza was ok, despite a very long wait. We won't go there again

We spontaneously went to La Taverna for dinner last night. Luckily we got a table upstairs in the left area of ​​the restaurant, a reservation is an absolute must here. Our waitress was very attentive and was able to answer all of our questions about the menu. Despite the fact that the shop was full, the food came very quickly. We had two stone oven pizzas, one the Parma and one the Giardino; a poem! Great crispy dough and plenty of toppings. During the meal, the young waitress asked several times if everything was OK and if we were missing anything. Very customer focused but not too pushy. All in all a very positive experience, great food, homely atmosphere and wonderful service. So again, big compliments to the kitchen and our service, we'll be back!

We are just visiting Eckernförde. We were just looking for a restaurant. We really enjoyed our meal at La Taverna. The pizzas were also well topped and large. If we have the opportunity, we will go again this holiday. The pasta at the next table looked great too.

The three of us were there spontaneously on April 18, 2024, hungry for a walk. We had only been to the other La Taverna before, but thought we would have a quieter stay here and were not disappointed. Welcome very quick and friendly. Menu also came promptly. Looking at the menu, it's a great price/performance ratio. We had very tasty salads and tortellini with spinach and gorgonzola sauce. Huge portions came! The tortellini couldn't be made and I asked for a to-go packaging. For a super fair surcharge of 0.50! Euro, which was pointed out to me straight away, I was able to take half the portion with me. Conclusion: we were super satisfied. We had a cozy table upstairs in the corner in front of the hallway, very nice ladies in service, fast and professional service and good prices, large portions and a great afternoon. We will be back!
