We had the mussels in white wine sauce and the pizza with salmon, spinach, garlic, and burrata. Both dishes were cold to lukewarm. Normally in a good restaurant, the waiter comes and asks if everything is okay. When we complained to another waiter, nothing happened. Then another waiter came and said that the waiter didn't speak German very well and what was wrong. When we explained the problem, the waiter said he would let us know. From then on, we were ignored. We wanted dessert: one was panna cotta, which tasted like it came from a supermarket, the other was the chocolate cake, which was okay, but the pistachio ice cream tasted of hazelnut. When I told the waitress that we wanted to pay, nothing happened at first. I then got up and went to the counter and said that I wanted to pay and that the restaurant would accommodate us. The waitress said that it wasn't possible and that the manager wasn't there. Suddenly, the waiter, who didn't speak German very well, intervened and said in an aggressive tone, "Don't pay anything." I didn't want to pay the amount because there was neither an apology nor any kind of compromise. We then agreed that I wouldn't pay for an espresso. So, dear boss, it can't be that when you're not there, no one takes responsibility. And when you run a restaurant like that, where the pizza costs over €20, mussels over €23, and we had a bottle of wine and water with dessert, there was no compromise, no apology towards us. I would avoid such a restaurant in the future. By the way, the pizza and mussels tasted okay, but that's just not enough for two people. Leaving €100 with you and no kindness.

The food arrives quickly and hot. Everything is fresh and delicious. We had risotto with porcini mushrooms and salmon lasagna. We'll be back!

There were five of us there. Of course, we made a reservation. It couldn't be any other way. A wonderful atmosphere, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent, even though the restaurant was fully booked. We'd love to go back 👍

I had salad, the antipasti vegetables were too mushy, the chicken pieces were dry and tasted like lamb, probably cut with the same knife or in the same pan. No one came to ask if it was tasty, even though we'd been sitting in front of our full plates for 30 minutes, and no one asked for another drink. I've seen much better.

The staff barely speaks German and only understands half of it! I ordered chicken breast stuffed with spinach, tomato, and mozzarella, and what came out was some kind of pressed meat (unidentifiable) with a flavorless filling. When I asked, I was assured it was chicken breast fillet, even though it clearly wasn't. They just told me to complain to the manager, Mr. Lettmann. This is all too stupid for me; I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I won't be visiting again!

Thursday afternoon, we spontaneously decided to "leave our Gerd cold" and drove to Eckernförde, where, despite the breathtakingly limited parking options, we actually managed to find a parking space. From there, we immediately found a seat and were immediately greeted by a very friendly waitress who brought us our menus and immediately fulfilled our drink requests. For the "small antipasti plate," we asked for two place settings – this request was promptly and accurately fulfilled, and the service was also prompt. Insanely delicious, plentiful, flavorful, with plenty of freshly baked pizza rolls to go with it – this was a very good start! The grilled fish for me and the chicken dish for my wife were also extremely tasty, and the small salad plate accompanying the fish was fresh, with a fine dressing. In the meantime, fresh water was also provided for our four-legged friend. The food here is certainly not a bargain, but – in our opinion – worth every cent, and the service surpasses many of our comparable experiences. For this, we're happy to leave a reasonable tip. This won't be our last visit!

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. We arrived at 6 p.m. without a reservation and all the tables inside were reserved. When we asked, we were told they were full. The waitress then said there was still space outside, but without showing us to a table, which I would have expected in a restaurant of this price range. The food was very garlicky, lukewarm, and you could clearly see what the previous guests had eaten under the table. Conclusion: A nice restaurant in a beautiful location with unfriendly service and mediocre food.

Three of us ate here today. The place is very well-kept, and the service is very good and friendly, but they could have smiled a bit more. They repeatedly asked us whether we were satisfied or if we needed anything else, which was great. We also enjoyed the food and it was worth the price.

I can't comment on the dishes. We just wanted to have a quick pizza, and all the available tables were reserved. When I asked when the tables would be reserved, the owner gave me the unfriendly reply that he didn't know. He had no interest in serving us, even though I made it clear that we were only staying for a short time.

The meal was very delicious. I highly recommend the beef fillet. However, if you prefer it medium-rare, please let us know. It was a bit too raw for us. Overall, though, it was a very tasty meal with a nice atmosphere. I would come back! One more recommendation: if you want to eat a little earlier, say at 12, you might find yourself in front of a closed door. But it opens promptly at 12.

Good Italian food – the pizzas are delicious, and the spinach and salmon lasagna and salmon pasta were also very good. The portions are relatively large, and the dishes are moderately priced. We were there as a small group at lunchtime without a reservation and received quick and friendly service.

Tortellini alla panna – in cream sauce. Grade 5, both for taste and because the cream sauce was more or less nonexistent. Spaghetti with asparagus tasted okay – grade 3. Men's restroom – of the various lights on the ceiling, almost all of them were broken. The restroom (the one with the door) was quite dark.

It used to be my favorite restaurant, but we were more disappointed than we've been in a long time. We waited almost an hour for a starter alone. The food was still very good, though. To be fair, they did offer an apology.

We came for dinner on our last day of vacation with two children and wanted to end it with a delicious meal and a pleasant atmosphere. We ordered a large platter of starters and four main courses. The food was delicious and attractively presented. It tasted wonderful. I wanted to praise the chef for the service, but I was denied the opportunity. The waitress seemed, hopefully only on that day, not to be in a particularly good mood. It was very busy and there was a lot to do. Our request for another order was taken, but unfortunately it never came. While clearing the table, we pointed out to a colleague that we no longer needed the drink we had ordered because we were finished eating. When paying the bill, we politely pointed out that we had already informed the waitress that we had not received the drink. The bill was handled by the same lady who took our order and brought it. We neither maliciously complained nor criticized her unfortunate behavior. A polite "Excuse me, I'm sorry 😉!" would have been appreciated. Their facial expressions and gestures made us feel insulted, and from then on, their backs were turned to us, not even responding when we said goodbye. Unfortunately, that didn't make for a pleasant end to our vacation. We sincerely hope, given the truly excellent cuisine, that the service here can improve a bit.

Service is good and fast. The food is generally good, but there are better options. The atmosphere inside is more like a train station waiting room than cozy. The prices are reasonable, though.

While strolling through town, we discovered this restaurant quite by chance and decided to be surprised... The service was fast, and the staff demonstrated good coordination between the kitchen and the guests. We ordered an appetizer and a main course, unaware that the portions were very generous – quite rare these days. The food was delicious. We felt very comfortable and well looked after the entire time. The restaurant is definitely recommended. We will definitely be back.

The food here is delicious but the prices aren't cheap, in fact it's expensive. If you compare the prices with almost the same restaurant in Gettorf, for example, it's pretty tough. But the worst thing is the service. You're always disappointed. It's so unfriendly and listless. If you want to order extras like dressing, they argue about why. The other time I had to spend 20 minutes arguing with the waiter about a voucher (which I had been given as a gift) and wondering which of my colleagues had signed it. The takeaway food was cold. It's a shame because the food is actually delicious and the opening hours are great. But you always go home annoyed.

A cozy spot in the shade on the terrace, very friendly, quick service, an overall pleasant atmosphere, including with the other guests, and very tasty food. Delicious food (we had antipasti, spaghetti, and pizza) at a fair price in a cozy atmosphere. Despite the busy place, the drinks and food arrived quickly, and special requests were accommodated.

Anyone who can spare a lot of time will enjoy a delicious meal here. We had to wait 40 minutes for the menu, even though there were plenty of staff working—and there were "only" two of us. This was quite obvious. The wait was worth it with a delicious meal in a pleasant atmosphere.

We always enjoy coming here, whether as a couple for a quiet evening without children, with the whole family, or with visitors from all over the country. There's something for everyone, delicious food, and very friendly service.

A few weeks ago the two of us went out for pizza. The restaurant itself is cozy, the service is attentive and friendly. But the pizza...? In my opinion, black olives belong on a Napoli, but here they had green ones on them. And maybe there were three or four anchovies on it. The dough was more like a baked pizza. Firm edge, no fluffiness, no taste. I've been able to do this much better at home with the pizza stone in the oven. In school grades it was with a lot of benevolence a 4-, from both of us. Please take the (not malicious) criticism to heart. The location deserves better pizzas. I recently experienced that things can get better at another Italian restaurant in town, who I won't name here in fairness. Fluffy edge, lots of anchovies, black olives. That's how it has to be and it's actually not difficult.

We spontaneously went to Al Porto and got one last place. The ambience looks very good and the prices are based on it, but not all of them. We order a small mixed salad, different. Pizzas, risotto porcini and penne mare e monti. The food came quickly. Portions are more than sufficient. The location of the Ristorante is ideally located on the small, picturesque harbor. Service was stressful at times, but always friendly.

We can recommend the restaurant. The style is based on the slightly more upscale gastronomy, the food is a little more expensive. In some cases, however, it is also significantly more expensive, with a pizza approaching the €20 mark. But the taste was good, especially the pizza dough. The pasta also tastes good, although the pasta itself may have a more expressive taste (e.g. tortellini and spaghetti). Unfortunately I can't give any information about the meat and fish dishes, but the antipasti/starter plate looked good.

We've been eating there for years. We were always very satisfied. Whether it's the food, the service or the ambience. There was never any reason for complaint. But this time we were unfortunately a bit disappointed. The food was delicious as always! We had reserved a table days in advance and still had to wait a long time before we were allowed to sit down, even though the restaurant was far from full. We felt most unwelcome. Unfortunately, the service was very unfriendly and carelessly slammed our food onto the table. The drink replenishment only came to the table after repeated requests and then only with an annoyed groan. All in all, if the waitress was alone and the restaurant was full, we could have ignored it. However, there were three of them and every other table was empty. It was the first time we didn't leave a tip - a shame! In a restaurant, it's not just the food that's important, but also the service. Especially when it comes to prices.

Rarely have I had such an imaginative starter plate. Completely different than the usual starters at the Italian restaurant. And the pizza was also very tasty.

A very tasty Italian. The pizzas were excellent. Fresh ingredients. Special requests were also addressed. Friendly staff, unusual atmosphere. An ice cream parlor in the front and the restaurant in the back. Well-kept, fresh flowers, daily specials. The location opposite the cinema is ideal. Parking spaces are around the corner. We will be happy to come back.

Hello It's been a while since we've eaten with them, or tried to eat. The restaurant manager greeted us with an eye roll because we hadn't made a reservation. He gave us a generous time window of 2 hours. Afterwards we were ignored for 20 minutes, so we decided to leave the almost empty restaurant at 3:50 p.m. Too bad!

Great little restaurant on the edge of the city center. Very tasty food and good portions. I'd love to come back.

November 2024 After we passed this restaurant in the afternoon in October of this year, we decided to stop here next time and so we ordered the daily menu and we were thrilled to come to the table here for the first time, nothing to complain about, plenty of it Portions and with coffee ☕ and beer 🍺 on the side, we were in good hands here. Gladly again 😀

If you look for Italian standard food, choose carefully. Our bruschetta was dissappointing. As our main dishes arrived 3 minutes after the starter, we didn’t have time to finish them. Pizza was «doughy» , probably not correctly baked. Possibly a too busy day there, as there were lots of customers and staff seemed stressed, not a single smile.

The three of us were in Eckernförde over the weekend. I reserved a table for three people three weeks in advance. When we arrived they said I had only made a reservation for two people. Which is illogical because we had a holiday apartment for three people. Instead of looking friendly and being able to somehow manage to fit in technically, we were treated very rudely. I should prove where I called. The three of us were able to eat at a table for two. The pizzas were nothing special and my salmon spinach lasagne was just hot on the outside. We have never experienced so much unfriendliness in Eckernförde.

I was there for the second time now. On the first visit everything was great, but unfortunately that couldn't be maintained because on the second visit we waited almost 2 hours for our food and then got the wrong one. Unfortunately, we received little attention from the staff.
