From the starter to the dessert everything was delicious. There is a star deduction for the ambience because it was very cold in the restaurant. Who wants to feel cold while eating? The service was very friendly.

Relatively inconspicuous trattoria from the outside, rustic and cozy inside, excellent carbonara, on request 'original' version without cream, eggs creamy, as it should be, not set... friendly service, friendly host, here for the first time on the way back from Colmar, Ramazzotti on the house... would be happy to come back if it suits you... recommended

The best restaurant in all of Baden Baden. An Italian of incredible quality, a very wide variety of dishes ranging from pasta and pizza, to salads, meat and fish. I recommend the pasta, great flavor. Super friendly and attentive service. We went for two days and both were unbeatable.

At the top! We were looking a little away from the tourist restaurants in the center. Perfecto! No fuss, a family atmosphere, the three of us had a pasta dish, it was very good and for a normal price. Well done 👍

Such a great spot, wonderful Italian fair served in the most convivial of atmospheres. The owner was mingling among the diners. A total performance. Everyone waiting for tables given a glass of spumanti. A memorable night in Baden Baden.

We arrived without making a reservation and were seated at a table outdoors. The food came pretty fast, the owner came for a chat and the prices were very good. The food was really really tasty. My oldest son did not really like the taste of his carbonara (you know...kids...) so he hardly touched it. When asked the bill one of the employees came to tell he did not charge for the dish. What an amazing act of kindness! 🙏

Wonderful terrace on the steps to Augustaplatz. Baden-Baden is at our feet. Stefano shortened the short waiting time with a glass of champagne. Here you feel like you are in Bella Italia 🇮🇹🍕🍝

If you like to eat well, in a typical, friendly setting. The prices are very reasonable. Don't miss the opportunity to go there. We ate 4 days in a row, lasagna, pasta, pizza were excellent. The tiramisu is incredible. I recommend 100%.

We were celebrating a birthday and everything was great and fun. But when we went to pay the bill, the waiter shocked us with his reaction to the tip. He said loudly that we had given far too little and that he had never experienced anything like that. We couldn't believe it and at first thought it was a joke. But it was serious. We were so shocked that we left the restaurant immediately.

Everything was fine until the moment we had to pay. The amount was not small! The waiter didn't like that they left little tip! He expressed his opinion on this matter very loudly and not very politely. He promised not to let us into this restaurant again. It was very unpleasant!!!!👎

We had dinner at a restaurant with friends. The waiter was drunk. He behaved familiarly. They brought a bill for 200 euros. We paid by card. The waiter began to demand tips. Loudly, he humiliated us for the whole restaurant. Pure extortion. There are other decent restaurants in Baden Baden.

Pizzeria Ristorante La Gondola is simply fantastic! The service is great, the staff is friendly and attentive. The selection of drinks leaves nothing to be desired and the quality of the food is excellent. The price-performance ratio of the pizzas is particularly impressive – simply unbeatable! Every visit is a pleasure. Highly Recommended!

Great quaint pizzeria. A bit dark and narrow. But everything works perfectly, everyone takes care of the guest. Boss welcomes everyone personally. Best bruschetta we have eaten so far. Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and bacon are recommended.

Great Italians in Baden-Baden! Great food and quirky atmosphere like in Italy. EXACTLY like in Italy. Ordered at 6:30 p.m.? “Sorry, no table available right now.” In return you get a glass of Prosecco on the house while you wait. Eating at Stefano's is always an experience!

La Gondola is an institution in Baden Baden. It's been around forever. The owners are true Sicilians. Funny, friendly and very concerned about the guests. As always, the food was delicious and the prices were very fair for this location. See you soon

As soon as other guests came, we were greeted with the words: “Friends, can you do me a favor? Pay!” more or less “removed” from the restaurant - before we had finished our drinks or could order dessert. We used to love going there, but now we won't see La Gondola again.

We weren't from the corner, so we first had to find the restaurant and a parking space in front of it (go into the parking garage!!) The food was very tasty and before the food came there were peppers marinated in oil. Definitely try this, very tasty (spicy) The ambience wasn't really my thing, but the waiter and the owner were so amusing and in a great mood that it was really fun to talk to them.

A very old-fashioned place. Everything was kept very dark. All windows closed. You can't even look outside. The toilets are a case for themselves. There isn't even soap available for washing your hands. Portions too small, correspondingly too expensive.

I chose the restaurant for a business lunch and occupied the table for too long. This was communicated to us quite loudly and we had to move around while we were eating. I've never experienced that before and it made me more than uncomfortable.

La Gondola, hidden on a side street in Baden-Baden. When I entered the restaurant, I thought time had stood still, the pizzeria is so rustic and quaint. The landlord and the staff are great! I have rarely experienced such a relaxed, friendly atmosphere in a restaurant. The food was delicious 😋 and plentiful. Price-performance is right! It was my first time in the restaurant but not the last time. Thank you for the relaxing stay.

Rustic, cozy, almost rustic. In any case, extremely good Italian. We had classic (German): pizza and pasta, panacotta and espresso and were so impressed that we want to come back to try the other Italian dishes of fish and meat. Friendly welcome, attentive service. The price-performance ratio is right, especially considering that you are in Baden-Baden. Please note: there is a lunch break between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Wir sind viel unterwegs und kennen viele Lokalitäten, aber hier bei Claudio und Stefano fühlt man sich immer Zuhause und willkommen. Egal wie voll das Restaurant ist, er findet immer einen Platz, selbst wenn das ganze Lokal einmal umziehen muss. Jeder macht da gerne mit :) Speisen sind typisch und urig, Preise okay und ein Prosecco aufs Haus auch. Danke an alle Brüder und Freunde, die das Lokal zu dem machen, was wir mögen.

Alles in Allem gibt es kein Grund für Kritik. Personal sehr aufmerksam. Hab dort eine Pizza mit dem besten Teig gegessen. Wirt sehr freundlich und kontaktfreudig.Es war alles super.

Wanted to have some Italian food and some wine after several days visiting Germany. La Gondola was well rated, and this place did not disappoint. We chose pizza, a bottle of wine, and finished with tiramisu. Saw several pasta dishes brought to tables that made us think about ordering that next time. The host and waiter were wonderful. This is a must go when in Baden-Baden.

Essen war durchschnittlich aber nichts besonderes. 2cl Limoncello 7,50!Allgemein zu teuer für das was geboten wird. Daheim bemerkten wir, dass 1 Pizza zuviel auf der Rechnung stand. Da gehen wir nicht mehr hin....

Wat een leuke plek om te genieten van heerlijk italiaans eten. Zelfs op maandagavond zit het restaurant vol. Dus reserveren is echt aan te raden.

Fünf von fünf Sternen ! Habe hier heute die beste Pasta frutti di mare gegessen- preise und speisen absolut top- das Restaurant ist an sich sehr klein- aber dennoch gemütlich. Auch am Service war nichts auszusetzen. Reservieren ist aber dringend notwendig, da es immr sehr voll ist.

Draußen sitzt man in Baustellenatmosphäre an wackeligen Plastiktischen, die nicht für romantische Abende geeignet sind (Stand: Sommer 2020). Unseren reservierten Tisch fanden wir mit angebissenem Brot vor. Der Service entfernte dieses nach einem lustig gemeinten Kommentar. Vor der Reservierung hatten wir uns bereits vorhandene Google Bewertungen durchgelesen, die das Lokal öfters als „besten Italiener der Stadt“ betitelten. Somit kamen wir mit entsprechenden Erwartungen was in erster Linie das Essen betraf. Hier wurden wir leider enttäuscht: Das Essen war kaum gewürzt und geschmacklich keine Besonderheit. Beim Bestellen der Rechnung erhielten wir noch einen kleinen Absacker „aufs Haus“.

This was a really nice, cozy and tasty experience. The staff is really friendly and adds a very personal touch to the service, and the food is great! We liked the snail appetizer so much we orderd another serving after we were done with our main dishes.

Als hätte ich an einem Abend Platz genommen in einem kleinen Restaurant in Italien. Unglaublich authentisch mit einem mehr als zuvorkommenden Service war die frische Pasta mit Steinpilzen wie von einem anderen Stern.

Arrived at 7pm. Our starters arrived before the drinks which were ordered less than 5 minutes before. Our main course arrived before we'd finished our starters so I sent them back. Still no drinks. Drinks finally arrived just in time for our mains to be brought out within two minutes of the starters finishing. Risotto Bolognese was like an oily soup. We left the restaurant at 7.45! One of the waiters serving us was rude and obnoxious. Having read the reviews on Tripadvisor we arrived with high hopes of a great evening with great food but left aft 45 minutes feeling very rushed and underwhelmed. This is not how I expect to be treated when we book a table.

Hier fühlt man sich besonders auf der Sommerterrasse wie in Italien. Herzliche Gastgeber, gutes Essen, schöne Atmosphäre. Manchmal sogar Musik.

Un chouette restaurant de spécialités italiennes à 2 pas du centre ville. Belle carte de viandes pâtes et pizzas. Les pâtes étaient vraiment excellentes et copieusement servies pour un prix très convenable à Baden Baden. Prix de l’eau un peu exagéré. A conseiller vivement.

Unmöglicher Empfang im Restaurant…. aufgrund eines Missverständnisses vom Inhaber trotz Reservierung eines seiner Stammgäste. Man könne auch die nächsten Jahre weg bleiben…. schade, dass Gastronomen Gäste so behandeln. Jeder hat mal einen schlechten Tag, ist überfordert oder gestresst - kein Problem, aber muss man dann solche Aussagen treffen? Absolut schädlich, auch für die Branche. Schade, traurig, aber wahr. 😱😢

Das Lokal war bei unserem Besuch voll und dementsprechend Lärmig. Gut hatten wir vorgängig einen Tisch reserviert. Der war auch effektiv frei. Als wir die Menükarte studierten, wurden wir plötzlich aufgefordert, den Platz für andere Gäste frei zu machen und an einen anderen Tisch der gleichen Grösse platz zu nehmen. Dieser neu zugewiesene entpuppte sich als eine Niete, denn er war gleich am Eingang und da kamen ohne Ende Gäste rein und blieben stehen obwohl sie weder reserviert, noch es Platz hatte. Bei der herrschenden Minus Temperatur an diesem Abend echt ein Genuss. Kurz und bündig gesagt, das Essen ist uns buchstäblich vergangen.

Je recommande ce restaurant pour sa convivialité et son authenticité. Très bonnes pizzas, pâtes, lasagnes, escalope Milanaise. Il faut absolument goûter le tiramisu. Nous y avons mangé 4 jours de suite. Il est très souhaitable de réserver car le restaurant est toujours plein. Les deux Françaises.

I reviewed an Italian restaurant in Frankfurt a few days ago as expensive and a bit bland. Although this place was marginally only cheaper it comes out way ahead on value for money and atmosphere. If you are after Italian fine dining you may chose to go elsewhere. But if you are after honest, rustic, authentic Italian food, in a bustling and vivacious atmosphere, this is the place for you. The restaurant has is an intriguing blend of Germanic and Italian decor. Lots of wooden beams, German chairs and tables but with Italian references through and through. Its closely packed with tables and chairs and the friendly, loud and tactile waiters are full of Italian bluster and energy. But they are serious about their job and work effectively and well together. You don't feel neglected. We started with a plate of 'vegetables' start with. Fresh sorted root veg to wash through the bread, cheese and sausages which we'd been eating for days. Mains were Gnocchi and Lasagne with a dressed side salad. Beautifully home cooked hot and plentiful. We finished with an excellent panacotta. All washed down with a couple of glasses of wine and some complementary grappa. The atmosphere was as fresh as the food and we left happy with a full stomach and a rosy glow. Cost all in for two was 75 euros. If this is your sort of thing, go for it.

Spitzenmässige Steinpilznudeln. Einfach- aber genial gut, zuhause ist es nicht besser hinzubekommen. Habe es vergeblich versucht danach. Immer wieder super Essen mit guten Weinen zu einem fairen Preis. Danke für Eure Mühe.

Perfect for a dinner w young kids. Service was helpful & friendly, pizzas & pasta were quick & tasty, beer was cold & the atmosphere comfortable as visiting good family. After an over priced, deep fried, failure the night before, this was just what we needed after a full day walking Baden-Baden. Saw many other groups of different ages, all seemed to be enjoying a good time :) We will definitely recommend to friends visiting. Thanks to the staff for a lovely evening!!

Wir haben das Restaurant über TripAdvisor gefunden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Abend war sehr amüsant mit dem zuvorkommenden und witzigen Personal. Der Gastgeber ist freundlich und sehr aufmerksam und das Essen war hervorragend. Grappa und Ramazotti wurde zu unserem Erstaunen spendiert. Dieses kleine, unprätentiöse Restaurant können wir nur empfehlen.
