Authentically Italian, always delicious

We call in Monte Rosa on Monday night. We only had main and I’m glad we did. I had Penne Arabiata and my husband had Goats cheese salad. Both were delicious.

We were in the mood for really authentic Italian cuisine, just like at "Mamma" and we really weren't disappointed. The prices are really reasonable, almost a little too cheap, the portions are large and the service is really outstanding. We felt comfortable and welcome here. Grazie mille

Ma che dire? Semplicemente fantastico ottimo ristorante dove gustare degli ottimi piatti Italiani, tutto contornato da un atmosfera ed un calore che puoi trovare solo in Italia, servizio sublime e poi per parlare delle pietanze ottime che la cucina offre. Fantastico bene bene

Their food is so good! We had a craving for pasta and stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant where we found one of the best pastas we have ever tried. Staff is friendly and accommodative, cooked me a carbonara thought they don't have on the menu 🥹

We followed the good reviews and nice photos and were disappointed with an unsatisfactory pizza and salmon tagliatelle. Pizza cheese was probably used instead of mozzarella for the pizza, and the salmon for the pasta seemed to come from the freezer. The food was enjoyable, but it does not reflect the very good rating and the photos of the restaurant, which were probably posed in some cases.

Absolutely recommended! Nice team, nice atmosphere, just like I would like a cozy Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. I always decide to try something new, but I usually end up with the pizza with gorgonzola, which is my absolute favorite. The guest mix of old and young is also nice. And Rita is the soul of it all.

An authentic italian bistro, the spaghetti and the pizza were very good and the service is excellent. The lady that served us was very welcoming.

Ich habe eine Pizza Rucola und Parmaschinken und Rigatoni Al Forno zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Die Pizza war ganz gut allerdings war die Pasta miserabel. Die Nudeln waren angebrannt und hatte kaum bis garnet Soße. Es waren quasi nur angebrannt Nudeln mit käse überbacken... Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr unmotiviert und hatten sichtlich keinen Bock..kann es keinem empfehlen hier was zum mitnehmen zu bestellen.

Truly amazing Italian food made authentically and it won't break your budget. Everything was very cheap when compared to other restaurants in the area. The pizza was my favorite pizza in a few months and the tiramisu was heavenly.

We kwamen hier op doorreis terecht en wilde even snel wat eten . Inrichting ziet er eenvoudig uit maar zeer vriendelijke bediening, en het eten was fantastisch zeker een aanrader.

Und obwohl zwei Mitarbeite kurzfristig erkrankt waren, hatte Rita und ihre Mitarbeiter alles im Griff. Das Essen war wie immer super lecker, der Service war so ehrlich und herzlich! Immer wieder einen Besuch wert.

Не совсем понятно, как сами итальянцы готовят спагетти Карбонара невкусно.. без соуса и вермишель похоже дешёвая не твёрдых сортов. У нас на Украине вкуснее в раз десять. Покушав в разных заведениях в Германии, сделала вывод ,что любимую Карбонару тут заказывать не стоит!

Außergewöhnlich gut! Das Beste war die Möglichkeit sich die Pizza aus einzelnen Zutaten selbst zusammen zu stellen.

Rita und ihr Team machen seit Jahren einen außerordentlich guten Job. Hier kann man auch fernab vom Klassiker Pizza auch die anderen italienischen Gerichte empfehlen.

Das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt, der Service war sehr freundlich. Also empfehlenswert. Allerdings war es uns zu kühl und auch das Ambiente hatte den Charme eines heruntergerockten Eiscafés.

Leckere italienische Küche am Bertholdsplatz. Am besten vorher reservieren, da es gegen Abend immer sehr voll ist. Rita die Inhaberin ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Preise sind angemessen und das Essen enttäuscht einen auch nicht. Alles in einem ein nettes Lokal mit guter Küche und Atmosphäre!

El restaurante es increible. La comida es deliciosa y la atención fue excepcional. Volvería todas las veces sin pensarlo. La pizza es sublime, la ensalada con calamar estaba más allá de deliciosa y los postres ni se diga... En realidad todo lo que probamos nos encantó y seguramente volveremos cuando visitemos Baden-Baden.

Etwas außerhalb des Zetrums isst man hier authentisch und fair bepreist. Pizza Parmaschinken war sehr lecker. Sehr gerne wieder

Fantastic meal ! Small, local restaurant, arrived just after opening and most tables already reserved. Luckily they had room for us and we enjoyed some delicious food. Limited English spoken but the staff were friendly. Can’t recommend this place enough, not touristy at all, just good quality food with lively atmosphere. Eccellente !!

Had pizza late in the evening, not the best, but quite good and the best we had in Baden Baden. The staff was quite friendly and the food didn’t take too long. Would definitely recommend it.

Etwas oberhalb der Lichtenthaler Allee gelegen. Keine Premiumlage, aber gute italienische Pizza und Pasta zu einem für Baden Baden guten Preis. Freundlicher Service. Ambiente eher einfach.

семейная кафешка, итальянская кухня, зашли перекусить, из еды заказывали только пиццу. но пицца была, действительно ооочень вкусная.

Tried to get a table in La Gondola (we'd been earlier in the wk) but it was rammed and told not to wait so headed here as it was nearby and had ok reviews. Looks very basic but was v v busy though they gave us a table which said reserved? Unfortunately next to the door - thank goodness they shut it though there were lots of smokers so always opening. Main menu is limited and most folk had pizza / pasta but I spotted (they didn't tell us) that specials are noted on the red plastic squares on the walls around the restaurant. It was very busy and full ofb locals and they don't offer an English menu, it was half way through dinner when we spotted cash only! Who does that now? And it was uckil we had it covered. Anyway initial reservations were diminished when food arrived - 2 scallopina romana (they asked if we wanted pasta with it which we did (I thought it would have come with it but obviously not) anyway spaghetti on the side - it was v good, 2x 250ml of wine, 1 tiramisu = e53 great value. They also do a budy trade in takeaway. The waiter / owner offered us a grappa, coffee etc free with the bill which was great and first time we've been offered this in Germany, it's usually offered in spain, Greece etc..I'd go back if I was staying longer.

Da come si presenta, il locale sembra poco più di un bar che prepara anche piatti veloci, quindi ci siamo andati senza grosse aspettative. Tuttavia l'affollamento sistematico, specialemente di sera, ci ha fatto sperare di poter essere piacevolmente sorpresi. Entrati nel locale abbiamo subito notato che le pizze nei piatti dei clienti non lasciavano ben sperare, ma ormai eravamo lì.. Abbiamo preso due pizze tonno e cipolla e due birre alla spina. Le pizze sembravano quelle surgelate, almeno per quanto riguarda la pasta, la cui uniformità nelle misure e nella (poca) crescita, il tipico sapore dal retrogusto dolciastro, non avevano niente di artigianale. Il condimento era abbondante, ma la pasta rovinava tutto. L'abbiamo mangiata per intero, soltanto per fame e perché non avevamo voglia di andare alla ricerca di un altro locale.Quello che sembrava Il proprietario, italiano, è venuto a ritirare i piatti e, vedendoli vuoti, ha desunto ad alta voce che ci fosse piaciuta, ma noi non avevamo voglia di spiegazioni inutili e abbiamo ingoiato l'amarezza e il disappunto. Che dire...se ai tedeschi la pizza piace così, di certo questa non può essere proposta come cucina italiana. E poi, 9 euro per una pizza surgelata...Aggiungo qualche nota sul locale: è piuttosto piccolo ed esteticamente spartano. Preparano anche primi e secondi piatti (a prezzi non economici).
