The bruschetto appetizer was delicious and had three different toppings. That was something different. Otherwise there were pasta dishes (tagliatelle with Bolognese) and lasagne, which also tasted good. The service was friendly and quick.

I don't understand the negative reviews, everything went perfectly for me and they accepted payment by card and everything was very transparent. Even very fast service, the pizza ready in just a few minutes and the staff very friendly, real Italians. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend it.

The staff are friendly, and the food is good. Location wise, it’s literally in the touristy center of the city. During my recent visit, despite being a regular customer, I felt as though I was treated like a tourist? You can find in the reviews here that other customers have also experienced this but, the frequent issues with their credit card terminal are frustrating, or somewhat suspicious. The insistence on cash payment feels inappropriate. When I told them I didn’t have any cash on me, the server directed me to an ATM machine lol. I don’t think I will be a returning customer. Hardly doubt that they will care though. It's not expensive for a city, and the food is plentiful and tastes good. However, they encourage you to pay in cash, and looking at other people's reviews, it seems like they even give you things you didn't order. I've been there many times, but today was especially disappointing. If you are not good at English, please take a video when ordering. According to what I've been to several times, it's not that much of a gangster restaurant, but...

Disappointing Unflavored tomatoes, also burrata Long wait to pay

The people who come from other countries will not experience a good mood. Because they will not receive normal service. I have also read other comments that agree 100% with my experience.

I was looking for a good Italian restaurant for our visit to Sauerland. I came across this restaurant while researching online. I found the menu very appealing and I also liked the positive reviews and pictures on the website. We weren't disappointed during our visit: the food was very good. The service was very friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very appealing. Only the furniture on the terrace could be a little more comfortable and/or of higher quality. The price-performance ratio is very good. My pasta dish (pasta with pistachio pesto), which was not on the menu but I had discovered it at the neighboring table, was very, very, very tasty. We can therefore only recommend the restaurant and would visit it again at any time when visiting the Sauerland.

Superb food in an incredibly busy restaurant for a Saturday night in Frankfurt! Large numbers of Italian staff literally running around making sure everything happened. Book in advance - they use Quandoo - and yes, they take a card. Carbonara had for sure no cream in there, truly excellent!

Nice venue. Excellent Italian cuisine in Frankfurt. The all-Italian staff is kind and attentive to the customer. We went several times during our stay, and extra praise goes to Francesco, he made us feel at home and pampered a little, he is a guy who is passionate about his work and it is a pleasure as a customer to find people like that. They also have a bar area, we also tried the cocktails, excellent. A place to absolutely try!!!

Having arrived in Frankfurt for work I have tried many Italian restaurants but here.... The top for courtesy and service but above all for ITALIAN cuisine. I tried the carbonara which for a Roman is a question of DNA and the test was more than successful, EXCELLENT. Well done Vito and the whole team for me a point of reference in Frankfurt. We'll see each other often!!!

En la era de la digitalización este debe ser el único lugar que quede que pida unos ingresos mínimos de 25 EUR antes de aceptar el pago con tarjeta. Y te señalan una frase en el menú después de que pidas el cheque. Mi cheque era 21. ¿En serio? ¿Tiene sentido hacer un escándalo al respecto? Tenía un Pizza Diavolo que uno esperaría que fuera picante. La masa parecía una pizza de microondas y el salami picante era cualquier cosa menos. Decepcionante. Pero los camareros eran muy amables. Dos puntos bien intencionados para el personal amablel.

I only ordered pizza and beer, but this is an unscrupulous restaurant that insists that I ordered something I didn't order because I'm a tourist who doesn't understand the language, and forces it to be served on the table. This is a restaurant I never want to go to again. The evaluation itself is uncomfortable.

It's pitiful that people still use this kind of commercialism these days. As a tourist, I had no choice but to be subjected to racially discriminatory rip-offs~!! Sad Germany, sad businessman~ Those emotionless guys who don’t even deserve a single star~!! A store you should never go to!!

Good pizza, unfortunately the options are not much

Gegrillte Dorade mit Ofenkartoffeln: Die Dorade wurde als Salatteller (stand nicht auf der Speisekarte) mit aufgelegter sehr kleiner Dorade serviert. Die Ofenkartoffeln waren getrennt zu bestellen und wurden getrennt serviert. Sie waren trocken, ungewürzt, ungeschält und wohl zu lange im Ofen warmgehalten. Vor allem an den Rändern nicht essbar. Gegrillter Lachs: ähnlich der Dorade. Spagetti mit Meeresfrüchten: Al dente - was ist das? Geschmacklich gut, etwas scharf. Die Scampi waren noch roh und nicht essbar. Als Entschuldigung sagte man mir, sie seien "nur Dekoration"!?!? Heißt das, sie waren nicht zum essen gedacht? Alle Speisen wurden nach ca. 5 Minuten serviert. Rekordverdächtig! Die Scampis waren wohl nicht vorbereitet und konnten in dieser kurzen Zeit nicht durchgekocht werden. Am Anfang hatte ich um einen Teller gebeten um die Dorade vom Salat nehmen zu können. Hätte ich einen Salatteller gewünscht, hätte ich einen solchen bestellt und die Dorade wollte ich warm essen. Dies wurde mir als Arroganz ausgelegt und bei der späteren Reklamation als Grund der schlechten Bedienung (mein Getränk wurde vergessen) vorgeworfen.

We came spontaneously and were assigned a space that was still possible under full capacity. After we got our drinks very quickly, Tiziano quickly came to take our food order. Unfortunately it took a very long time until we got the food. Several waiters came up to us and informed us that the food would take a while. As an apology, they asked us - without us asking - whether we wanted a drink on the house. As a result, we each received an Aperol on the house. Overall, we had a great evening with very good food and attentive waiters. Thank you for the evening & thank you Tiziano. Cheers!

We've always enjoyed going there. But paying €23 for a spaghetti vongole, where the portion was tiny and the mussels were almost all empty, is exhilarating. Maybe because the bosses weren't there. ?

Quality Italian food and excellent service

Was in Frankfurt for a business trip and went to this restaurant. Great restaurant, was there on 2 separate occasions on two consecutive evenings, because the 1st evening I was there, I had the most amazing experience with one of the waiters who gave great service and for this reason I just had to return. On the second evening, the waiter that helped me the previous evening was off, so I had a different waiter, who was not up to standard, thus only giving 3 stars for service. Food was amazing, atmosphere was really good, would highly recommend!

The visit to the Italian restaurant was a true taste experience! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, which made the ambience even more pleasant. The stone oven pizza was simply delicious - crispy edges, perfectly baked dough and fresh, high quality ingredients. We will definitely come back and try more of the Italian cuisine!🎉

I can't understand some of the negative comments in any way. I was in this restaurant alone last night on a business trip and was warmly greeted at the entrance, which didn't change until I paid. Very friendly and warm-hearted waiters, attentive but not annoying. Wine whether white or red is a pleasure, the same applies to the food: the jam-packed, meat-rich appetizer plate and wild salmon tasted excellent. I'll definitely be back next month and take a few more people with me!

Congratulations guys indeed! On a super crowded Saturday, the place was full, lots of people in the street drinking cocktails, these Calabrian guys deserve top marks!! Spacious and well-kept place, friendly waiters, excellent food, really good, carbonara and tagliatelle al ragù, as well as the best Margherita I tried in Germany! I've been to this restaurant several times and the food is great. But I won't come again. Recently my parents were visiting and I reserved a table especially for that. It was very crowded that evening and a waiter bumped into me three times in the outdoor area while I was waiting for my parents. When I pointed this out to him, he said: I didn't need to look like that because I would be in the way. It would be better to say: "Good evening, may I accompany you to your table?" Good food isn't everything. You also have to feel comfortable as a guest in order to be happy to come back.

The pizza is phenomenal, on my first visit I was welcomed at the small market hall despite it being busy. On the second visit I was treated like a leper, not welcome at all and refused to order a drink.

Very tasty food. Service is not very friendly. Nice atmosphere inside, slightly strange decoration. Pasta in a parmesan loaf with truffles is highly recommended. The “simple” Pizza magherita is also a highlight. Rather expensive in price.

Nice restaurant, delicious pizza!

The pizza was very good. The Tagliolini al Tartufo was fantastic with a nice hint of truffle. For dessert we enjoyed the Cassata and Tartufo. The Cassatta head vanilla and pistachio ice cream with a hardshell chocolate, and a very nice tart berry reduction. Top shelf service and very relaxing atmosphere.

Recommended….. We happened to be near the restaurant and the hospitality of the staff made us feel welcome… Very attentive and the food was delicious. If someone wants an Italian feeling, go there. The recommendations were sensational and the plates were excellently presented.

Food: Price-performance ratio is simply not right in this case (at least not with the pesto pasta we ordered). For the price, the portion was simply very small and therefore not justified and also not tastier than Barilla Pesto Sauce. Service: not very attentive. We wanted to eat quickly - but then we had to wait longer for the menu and to order and then wait for the bill. We also didn't get the bread that other tables apparently got. Ambience: loud and therefore overall very uncomfortable. For an unsatisfactory portion of pasta with a non-alcoholic drink we would have ended up with just under €20.

The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. But the food is mediocre and the prices are exorbitant.

Food was decent, nothing to rave about. But service was terrible. There was a baldy waiter who seems like a racist. He treats Caucasian customers with a smile and friendliness but was really rude to Asian customers. Slamming pen and card machine on my table as though I owe him something. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Terrible carbonara that tasted like they cooked the pasta in dishwashing soap and a small not filling pizza that was ok. But the pasta was so awful that the pizza doesn’t make up for it. We felt it was very overpriced: €19 for the spaghetti à AJAX and €2.50 for a few leaves of arugula salad on the pizza. To be avoided.

I've been here several times, whether as a couple or with a large group. It's fun, tastes good and the staff is very nice. Always worth a visit after the small market hall. Whether inside or outside. Typical Italian, lots of tables with little space for clothes. Tablecloth made of paper, service is definitely geared towards speed. The right place for a quick pizza (which was really good), for a nice candlelight dinner or a business lunch I would prefer other restaurants in Frankfurt.

I was actually very excited when I visited in the summer because of the great service etc. Now the price-performance ratio for pasta dishes is no longer right. Approximately twice the price as stated on the homepage and a small portion.

We had a great time with colleagues here. One thing that might be missing are the desserts. There weren’t enough desserts for all of the customers and we just got the Chocolate Parfait, to which I won’t complain, it was really good tho.

Relatively expensive but very good cuisine. Portions could definitely be a little bigger for the money. However, everything complains at a very high level!

Vorspeise grenzwertig. Hauptspeise sehr wenig für einen 50-jährigen Esser. Nachspeise teils mehr als die Hauptspeise. Wein war zu trocken. Ambiente verspricht per Internet mehr als es ist. Zusammenfassung: es gibt schönere Lokale mit Geschmack und Ambiente in Frankfurt!

Sehr leckeres Essen, nettes Personal, Preis-Leistung passt auf jeden Fall, von außen vielleicht nicht das einladenste Restaurant aber von innen trotzdem schön, ich kann auf jeden fall den salat mit büffelmozarella empfehlen und die pasta mit basilikum und pinienkernen, hat mir sehr geschmeckt :) gerne wieder

Wir hatten zur Vorspeise den leckeren Insalate Buffala mit Pizza Marinara und als Hauptgang die Spagatthi in Sardellen-Chili-Öl. Beide Speisen waren sehr hochklassig und haben im Geschmack begeistert. Zudem gab ds leckere Oliven und Brot als Appetizer! Die Getränkekarte ist zufriedenstellend, jedoch ist es schade, dass man nur den Hauswein als Glas bestellen kann und ansonsten Flaschen bestellen muss. Deshalb greifen hier anscheinend viele nur zu Wasser, Softdrinks oder Bier. Das Ambiente innen ist sehr schön. Der Wintergarten direkt vor dem Restaurant ist jedoch ausbaufähig. Von Außen hat man das Restaurant eher als Kneipe gesehen, hier besteht Verbesserungsbedarf! Alles in Allem war der Besuch jedoch sehr angenehm und zeigt mal wieder, dass man sich nicht von dem Äußeren abschrecken lassen soll und dass die inneren Werte zählen!

Die Pizza war leider etwas flüssig auf dem Belag. Pinsa dagegen knusprig und lecker. Service bemüht und freundlich. Tische stehen recht eng im Wintergarten, was bei lauten Sitznachbarn nervig ist. Zutatenqualität gut .

Italiaanse restaurant met gezellig inrichting en wel aardig eten. Het restaurant ligt iets buiten de drukke winkelstraat. De buitenkant ziet er niet bijzonder uit. De inrichting in het restaurant ziet er leuk uit. Eten is niet bijzonder. Pasta is een beetje droog en pizza niet rijkgevuld. Eten is behoorlijk duur. Bediening is klantvriendelijk.

Excelente comida auténticamente italiana -igual que los empleados-. Solo recomiendo pedir rápidamente, pues tardan un pelin en preparar el pedido.

Heimeliche Atmosphäre , Preis und Leistung stimmen. Die Kellner sind aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich. Es ist immer ein gelungener Abend. Gehe am Dienstag wieder dort Essen.

Klassischer Italiener mit sehr zuvorkommenden, männlichem Personal, Preise allerdings verhältnismäßig hoch, für die Empfehlung aus der Küche, Nudeln mit Trüffel und Steinpilzen 32,90€ etwas überteuert. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt da nicht ganz.

Einer der besten Italiener die wir je besucht haben. Das Ambiente war toll, die Kellner waren sehr nett und das Essen war fantastisch. Zu unseren Kindern waren so nett wie kaum ein anderer bisher. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Frankfurt sind wir wieder da.

Sehr nette und zuvorkommendes Personal. Es gibt gute Parkmöglichkeiten an der Kleinmarkthalle, die direkt um die Ecke ist. Leider war das Essen nicht wirklich besonders. Nudeln mit Trüffeln waren nicht gewürzt und die Portionen waren nicht dem Preis gerecht. Alles in allem trotzdem ein guter Italiener

Gutes italienisches Essen mit sehr schönen Ambiente. Die Terrasse ist sehr gut geheizt, so dass man auch zur kühleren Jahreszeit gut draußen sitzen kann. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Essen schnell serviert.

Tried this place on a whim while on a busy friday evening. The restaurant in itself is quaint and charming, with polite waiters and excellent food. Too bad that it is located near crowded areas.
